IN PHOTOGRAPHY:
- Submit to Juxtapoz, Shots and Kotori Magazines.
- Enter the Hey Hot Shots competition.
- Approach The Heritage Art Gallery in Des Moines with the Kirkwood Hotel photos.
- Approach ThÂink Tank Art Gallery with the construction/roller rink photos.
- offer prints on deviantArt.

IN WRITING:
- complete THREE writing workshops to really work on my stuff.
- write chapbook #2
- finish novel #1 and begin novel #2
- write comic book!

So, there you are. This is my list for the year. If I donÂt complete this then I donÂt deserve to have hands!

Xmas is coming and when itÂs done IÂll be 37 yrs. IÂm actually okay with that. I had a really hard time turning 30, but IÂm not worried about 40Âgo figure.

As for future creative endeavors. In January I plan on entering the CenterÂs [formerly the Santa Fe Center for Photography] The Singular Image competition. IÂm also going to enter my chapbook ÂUrban TumbleweedÂ in the Grayson Books chapbook competition. So weÂll see how that goes. I have big plans for the next year involving workshops, both writing and photography. ItÂs going to be an exciting year.

so, a lot has happened since my last journal. first, i got married. we eloped to Estes Park, CO on Halloween 2008. I am taking over the Hippie Club on DA and will be starting a weekly feature in a couple of weeks. I haven't begun working on the Hippie Club yet because I'm waiting for the previous leader to say her farewells. Once that happens it's on!

on a lighter note, this weekend is a big one for me and my camera. the hubby and i are going to an apple festival with our niece and his sister and brother-in-law. she's pregnant and in addition to the festival I'll be taking belly photos. then theres a concert we're going to and that's my first chance to take band photos. and lastly, we're going to a ren faire. i know it sounds dorky but imagine the pictures! i'm planning on completing three to four rolls this weekend. I'M SUPER EXCITED!!!
