We had presentations about Russian, Arabian and Japanese mythology, assassins, how to raise the dead (yes, this was from real magic book), spiritism and middle age mass graves (and these were only some where I went, I missed dozens other good stuff), I made silver jewelry, saw some neat costumes (there were the Endless group cosplay, draenei girl, dr. Who and more), ate sum delishus spring rolls, played couple rounds of Lupus in Tabula and bought a big book about FINNISH MYTHOLOGY.
Also saw some peeps, though sadly some other people were unable to come, and got bruises from sleeping at cold stone floor without any mattress.
One of the best Ropecons I've been.

Well, with little luck it should work just fine and after cleaning it shouldn't even be sticky. I take this incident as a higher command to read Maxx while the keyboard is drying.

So my keyboard is dried and working again. It's 3 a.m. Mom's sleeping. I plug it in and start to work. Suddenly I smell this really bad burning rubber type of smell and get scared if my computer or the keyboard somehow caught fire (or otherwise malfunctioned like out TV once) so I quickly shut it down and pull the plugs. I sniff around but the computer itself doesn't smell or feel warm so I keep sniffing and searching around the apartment and suddenly I notice that the smell is coming from the open balcony door and think if somehow one of mom's cig stumps has magically ignited itself so I go there and notice that the whole yard is misty with smoke (our apartment is at 4th floor so I see it pretty clearly) and it's getting worse.

I look around if the smoke is coming from this side's windows but see nothing suspicious, so I put more clothes on and quickly go outside with my cell so I can call the firemen if some other nearby apartment has caught on fire, walk around the corner and see firemen extinguishing a car at our backyard parking lot which motor had caught fire!
Not sure what happened since the car seemed to be parked and I hadn't heard any crashes. Nor the firemen, sneaky saviours.

It's got lots of good stuff I swear. ANd yes, my comp is back!

Anywayyyy, Transformers 2, the badly translated sequel.
Shortly put, as a movie, it SUCKED. The robots weren't characters. They were just there to explode things and the "alienrobot friendship" thing was scrapped completely.
Not to mention the plot, good god. It was actually worse than in the first one.

BUT it was entertaining as hell, things exploded, the bad humor worked better AND THERE WERE BIG ROBOTS. I mean seriously, their entertainment value never drops.

Moviemaking quality 2/5

I don't have Paypal (and I get better pay per picture from my illustration job)
but if you are from Finland and really want an icon or small pic, can't say no to that.

Depending who you are, I'm always pretty open to do a small/sketch/icon-trades. I don't usually say no to anyone unless I'm already having million trades etc.
I sometimes do trade journals, that's a good time to attack.

You can suggest ANYTHING (but no sex, please, not on my portfolio) no matter how complex, EXCEPT your characters or existing characters (like Spiderman and so on) because I'd like to keep my portfolio as much as my own as I can. Yes, you can suggest my characters.

I could use this pixel icon as an excuse to try pixeling and animating, since it's pretty crucial with gaming but I friggin' HATE doing pixels since I always relate them to pixelated jpeg pics. And I'm just plain scared of animation. Yes, scared.

With the old one you could easily glance their gallery and their best work, put now when you think "Oh, these look nice" you notice that it's their Faves in the place where their gallery used to be. Sigh.

I can`t draw when I´m near someone, wether they are friends or strangers and creating characters seems so futile since most of them suck (in my mind) anyway.

Mainly the problem is that I´m a perfectionist, and lazy to boot. Which means that I don`t have patience to do anythind good, yet I feel disapointed since I can`t do it better. Nothing is better than being the biggest obstacle in your way.

Bawww bawww and so on.

..Or then I´m just more tired and negative than usual since I haven`t slept well in the last seven days.

I busted a muscle Saturday while trying to carry a huge bed with my mom and spent the rest of the day lying in bed (it`s better now).
Our balcony door leaks cold air inside and we can`t shut it and our radiators aren´t on so I wake repeatedly because I´m freezing. Soon I´ll start sleeping on the bathroom since it has heated floors.
And the internet doesn`t work yet.

Oh and our teamwork is going down the drain thank you very much.

One sticker 1.50€/2.30$ (like if you want five raptors the separate cost for them is 1.50 euros = 7.50€/11.90$)

+ postage (from 2 to 4 euros)

The price comes from the facts that my printer hogs colourfluid, the sticker paper isn`t that cheap and I hate scissoring them.
