Part of this is the ongoing nature of my comic. You will have noticed by now that there have not been any new pages for quite some time. This is because I am losing interest/have lost interest in the plot, which has begun to unravel like a poorly made tapestry.

I'm not going to write any more of it.

At least, not for now. Consider this an extended hiatus if you like, but it's unlikely that I will come back to this particular project.

That said, I guess I'm just not feeling the Halloween spirit.

I need some time to think.

+.5 for having an insane 13-year-old scratching numbers into wood with her fingernails.
+1 for realistically portraying people's reactions to the end of the world

+1 for using the aliens preserving humanity idea well.

Total: 8.5 out of 10.

All in all, I was fairly impressed. I recommend going to see it-the commercials don't do it justice. I would generally describe it as Noah's Flood gone Stephen King. Good movie, totally worth the $9.

I have recently been at something of a loss for what to draw. Therefore I am becoming a lazy ass. I barely have any reason to wake up in the morning. Which is weird, because this never bothered me before and it sort of is now. I need some inspiration.

Also, as I write this, my parents just had a fight. I suspect wine was involved and they won't tell me what's wrong. I usually play therapist for the people in my family, but nobody's letting me help them. The two of them worry me sometimes...

I'm not sure if the place we'll be staying will have wireless internet access or not, so...er, stay tuned? if so, there still won't be any new deviations or anything (no portable scanner) but I'll still come by about twice a day. If not, see y'all in seven.

Anyway, my stay there might (read:will) be ruined by my 13 and 11 year old cousins who are coming by to stay from wednesday till we leave. I HATE THOSE LITTLE TWERPS! They think that they're the coolest little things to come out of Connecticut, and they act like every action they take should be recorded and put into a book titled how to be cool. Also, I know they'll be screwing around with my stuff while we're there, so I have to keep on lookout 24/7.

Other than that, I love it down there. The sea air that some folks (read:crazy people) don't like is one of my favorite things, along with the boardwalk and the sea itself. I hope to find lots of inspiration there.

I don't usually do surveys, but this one... amused me. Anyway, about Reki and the Bakemono-we're drawing to the end of volume 1 and I'm gonna take a little break while I think of new plot arcs and such. Also to refine the style in which I draw the manga. I'll still be submitting deviations and such, it's just that I need a little while to come up with new material.

Exams happening at school now. Sort of annoying because they're giant TESTS, but I get out early (1:00 baby!), so things are all good. Anyway...

My hair is now so long I put it in a ponytail to keep it out of my face. Now everyone that doesn't know I'm straight thinks I'm gay because of it. I have no problems with gay and bi people, but it's a little annoying to be misclassified as one of them.

Anywho, the manga is progressing apace. It's really exciting to write one's own manga and know that someone I only know from the internet will read it. It's really quite exciting.

I'm sick. I hate being sick. It's just a cold, but there seems to be some form of corrosive fluid eating my lungs. It's awful. That joke, not the cold. Although that's bad too.

In other news, I recently got a new laptop, a Macbook. That means I also have Photoshop Elements 4.0, so I hope my pics can begin to be much more detailed. If I'm not feeling lazy. Maybe.

I have been watching quite a bit of Bleach lately and I have decided Hollow Ichigo is the best thing to appen to the show in a while. His full hollow form is SO FUCKIN' AMAZING!
