It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE:
** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.
** Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!

STEP TWO:
** Surf this forum ( [link] ) and browse the lists. Here's the important part:
** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

5- I wish to figure out what I want to do in life. All the kids around me had decided what they wanted to be in third grade. I still have no clue.

I've been trying to actually pratice drawing lately. Like, really. Drawing every day and just doodling whatevs and doing studies. I'm saving all my doodles now and dating them and not letting ugliness stop me from just drawing. Unlike before, I'm really trying to progress. Before, I could go months and months without drawing a single thing and not even bothering if what I was trying to draw was coming out badly. Maybe in the future I'll made a collage of doodles. XD

I think I'll remake an old picture I have in my gallery. I've wanted to do that for a while, but I've been too lazy. Any suggestions?

I'm actually using a tablet now. It's not mine. I'm borrowing my sister's. It doesn't have pen pressure, unfortunately. =/

Anyway, when I had my own tablet before I didn't like to use it because it was so damn hard to control and my hand jitters enough as it is, so it was very hard to make good lines with it. Eventually it died on me, anyway. This was a few years ago. I only just started using my sister's a couple weeks or so ago, I guess. It's easier than the one I had before and I actually like using it. I still tend to switch back and forth between the tablet and my mouse, though. The tablet is quick and I can make good quick strokes for sketching, but I have much better control over the mouse, so it's good for laying down real lines.

I'll ramble more later..

Unfortunately, this is a rant. I was looking through some tutorials recently and some not so recently and some of them have managed to irritate me.

I HATE it when art tutorials say, "Never -insert thing which you must never do here-"

Art can be whatever the hell you want it to be! There are no rules in creating art. There are no things you can't do. And ALL of the things they tell you to OMGNEVER do are purely preference!

I've seen MANY popular artits with shitty anatomy. Hips WAY too big, legs far too long, very pointy limbs, humanly impossible poses, and, let's not forget, gravity defying beach ball boobs, so on and so forth.

I've also seen very plain coloring, no shading at all, sketchy coloring, ect.

And yet, despite all these problems, their art is very well liked! People make amazing art with these and other "mistakes." This proves, like I said, that there are no rules in creating art. Anything can work if you make it work! Art is anything the artist wants it to be. So don't tell me to "never" do this!

Now, all the ones I read were coloring tutorials. So, it was things like, "Never shade using just variants of one color. It makes your art look boring!", "Never use gardients.", "Never use just one texture on a picture, it looks bad." ect..

-__- I've seen all those and more done and they can look fantstic.

Thankfully, this isn't the case in most tutorials. But I've seen it enough to be irritated.

Just looking around this place makes me want a GOOD scanner more than ever! >_< Darn that thing!

Drawing last night had me realize just how much different my pictures look when they are drawn with a mouse than by hand. The difference was amazing................................. ......................Huh? Oh. I can't think of anything else right now. Go look at all my pretty pictures now. And PLEASE look at them in FULL VIEW!! they look SOO much better!! >_< They look all blurry and bad if they aren't full.

Anyway, this is the best and most beautiful artwork you will ever see in your entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never though I would actually ever own one!!!! Now I have two! Yay!.................................... Now...if only I could read em. -_-
Those books also have the cutest I have ever seen!! Inu-Yasha is SSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! I can't get over it!! The cuteness is absolutly painful!!! But those cute comedy pics of Yummy are EVEN BETTER!!! WOW!!

I think my fav story in them is the one where Rin gives Sesshoumaru and Jaken a bath! After they take a bath they are hung on a pole to dry!! You HAVE to see it!!! SOOOOOOO CUUUUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The thing is also kinda violent! Kagome goes completely psycho on Kouga!!! O_O! (Kouga looks SOOOOO CUUUUTE!!!) She takes a butcher knife and chopes off the poor guy's tail! Lots of blood! It was something for school. Jaken is also very hated by Rin it would seem. She sets a trap for him in the ground and when he falls into it she buries him alive... These parts of the books are not so cute.
