I'll open up slots for sketch commissions, and they'll only be $10 and I'll do these until I've reached 100. ^_^ Kind of like folding a thousand paper cranes, except not. Like every other artist out there, I'm starving to fund myself and would appreciate the business a ton. But art is much more than a business to me, and I think of every new commission as a challenge to myself. Can I outdo my old works to please not only the client but also the artist within me? I'm not the best artist out there, I'm certainly not one of the best on DA, nor even the best I know. It's not the point of art to be the best because it's so subjective, who's to say what the top is? Picasso's abstract or Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel? Jackson Pollock or Da Vinci?

I guarantee to you that whatever you commission is a task I take unto myself as an artist, not as a businesswoman and that my heart goes into every piece I do. When you request to buy art from me, you are funding me not only financially, but also artistically and it's a funding I duly appreciate. ^_^

Now here are the knitty gritty details.

Payment

I accept payment in the form of paypal.
Concealed cash isn't preferable, but also acceptable if necessary.

What can/cannot be done
I will try whatever I can to meet your demands, but if I honestly cannot do it, I will let you know. However, I can help you narrow your demands by telling you that these are things I absolutely will fail to do properly enough for a paid commission, including...

Mecha (sadly, no Gundams or Transformers would be done justice by my hand)
Machinery/Vehicles (unless you'd like a Honda that looks like a cockroach...)
Anthro (I'm not a fan of the snout face)
Realism (I could take a picture for you! )
Creatures (like Final Fantasy monsters? No can do)

Most everything else I can do relatively confidently, and if you have something in mind with a questionable theme, go ahead and ask anyway! Chances are, I won't turn you down. I've drawn ecchi, yaoi, yuri, and a character crucified like Christ, so artistic theme is never a no. I also write fanfiction, but prices for that are so varied, it would be better to just ask me directly about those.

Prices?

All of my prices are given as a range because depending on your request, some things take more time than others. Between two people who request a full body shot of a character, one might want an action pose and the other might want them standing still. Naturally, the action pose takes more time for me to draw and therefore I would charge a little more for that one.

Pencil Sketches
It's not just a pencil outline you're getting. You get shading and toning and everything! You also have the option of getting the hard copy mailed to you, for no extra charge!

The Anime convention was in Lancaster, CA and was tons of fun. I bought Sode No Shirayuki~ ^_^ So I'll be cosplaying Kuchiki Rukia in May at A-Kon in Dallas. I'm looking forward to it!

The Dir En Grey concert was way hardcore, my neck hurt so good for a couple of days after (too much headbanging), and my throat was bleeding from all the screaming I did. I also got their Uroboros CD and got it autographed by Die and Shinya. J-Rock stars up close are sooo hot! I managed to control myself and not squeal at them. ^_~

My major? Pre-Med and Classics. I'll be going on an archaeological dig in Italy probably 2 summers from now.

Depending on how my Pre-Med classes go, I might just ditch it all to become a Theater major. XD But Classics is sticking.

I've also been pretty ill the past few days. T_T

I've not started on subbing the Live Bankai Show Code 002 yet, I'm sorry!

Winter Break will be much more artistically productive, I promise!

I'm certain that almost all of you have either read the Bleach manga, or watched the Bleach anime. But there also exists... A Bleach Musical!!!
Four of them, in fact.

They are titled Rock Musical BLEACH and include none of the seiyuu from the anime. Regardless, they sound EXACTLY like their anime counterparts. It's rather amazing. There have been a total of five musicals, and two "Live Bankai" Shows.

Storylines/Summaries

The first two musicals are usually supplemented by the second one that was performed, titled Saien. It covers the storyline from when Rukia is taken back to Seireitei, and Ichigo, Inoue, and Chad (sorry Ishida fans, he's not in the Musicals) all discover their abilities and go to rescue her. The Musical ends with Ichigo defeating Abarai Renji.

The second (technically third) musical is titled The Dark of the Bleeding Moon and adds more cast members while also taking away cast members. Inoue, Chad, and Urahara are removed and never seen again in the following musicals, but Zaraki Kenpachi, Shihouin Yoruichi, Yamada Hanatarou, Madarame Ikkaku, and Matsumoto Rangiku are added to the cast. Continuing the story from where it left off in Saien, the musical continues the storyline up until Rukia is placed on Soukyoku to be executed and Ichigo shows up to save her.

The third (techincally fourth) musical is the Live Bankai Show Code 001, which does not continue the storyline. It was meant as a New Years special and was more for fun and had mostly new songs rather than additional story. They do add Hisagi Shuuhei to the cast, and Matsumoto Rangiku was absent from this musical because she was pregnant at the time.

The fourth (technically fifth) musical is titled No Clouds in the Blue Heavens and takes place from Rukia's rescue at the Soukyoku up to Aizen's betrayal and departure from Soul Society. Additions to the cast include Soi Fong, Unohana Retsu, and Kaname Tosen. Absences included Yamada Hanatarou and Matsumoto Rangiku.

The sixth musical hasn't been released on DVD yet, but it was the Live Bankai Show Code 002 and concluded Rock Musical Bleach. The DVD will be released August 2008.

Currently, there have been some subbed versions of these musicals out and about but as far as I've been able to find, there are only two. Rumbel Fansubs subbed Rock Musical BLEACH Saien but didn't sub the other musicals. Cruel Angel Productions has subbed them all, but you have to pay in order to acquire his subtitles. Now, I personally don't think that anyone should charge money for subtitling a production that wasn't theirs, and so I've taken the liberty to subtitle the last 3 musicals myself to distribute to my wonderful Soul-Slayers! Instructions for downloading:
Because most people prefer direct downloads as opposed to IRC or torrents, I've simplified this to the best of my ability by splitting each of the musicals into pieces to be hosted on various file sharing websites. In order to play all of the pieces together, you will need to go and download hjsplit. It's a free program that you can get by searching via Google.

Each of the parts that you download will have a file extension of .001, .002, .003, etc... depending on the file size. Do NOT join the files together with hjsplit until you've downloaded ALL of the parts. Also, make sure that ALL of the parts are in the same place.

The version of Saien that I will distribute is the one that was subtitled by Rumbel Fansubs. They get all the credit for that one, not me. The musicals following Saien are the ones that I've completed and you'll notice that there is a separate link for the subtitles for those musicals. This means that they are soft-subbed and in order to play the video with the subtitles, all you really need is the latest version of VLC Media Player, which is also free.

Try as I might to try and get a job, it seems no one will take me. And despite how desperate I may be for some cash for college, I refuse to go back and work Rides for Six Flags. No more vomit for me, thank you very much. It seems I'll be working with my boyfriend's mom delivering seafood. Sounds odd, but at least it's something.

So in a feeble attempt to keep busy, I've started drawing again (it feels good, too!) and I'm also working on subtitling the Bleach Musicals to distribute freely. I've finished the Dark of the Bleeding Moon and I'm now halfway done with the Live Bankai Show Code 001. It's amazing how long it takes. First it took much longer because I was getting used to the subtitling program, but now it goes faster. However, it still takes me quite a while. Sometimes they talk too fast, or they overlap and so it's hard for me to translate what they're saying. It's amazing that 2 and half hour musical could take almost 20 hours to subtitle. I don't understand how subtitling groups could do this every week for certain anime episodes. I mean, I have a whole new level of respect and gratitude for those people.

I've also been addicted to Heroes of Might and Magic III. >_<

So if anyone on DA is bored of lazy summer days and wants to chat, feel free to send a note or comment or whatever...
