Anyway....if I go through what I've been doing, I feel that I'll become depressed, so I'm not going to rant about it, at all.

I'm rather tired and sick. Even so, I mustered strength to finish 20% of my homework for one of my classes while 0% is finished for my other classes....UGH, so depressing.

However, for some cheer, I managed to put up some new pics of the gang. Sawyer now sports her new wig from For My Doll. Her other wig was starting to scare me, though I loved it on her. I decided to change it up a bit for her. This wig is straight, but still has a bit of waviness at the ends like her other wigs. Thus, ends my doll spending for the year.

I know I was having a malevolent writer's block on Sawyer and Nanette's stories. As for Arashi, so far, so good. I hope to work on their stories more as it gets closer to the end of the school year.

She's literally perfect (with the exception of that darned eyeliner).

I really need to get something off my chest; it's been eating me alive. So my watcher posted a poll about least fave genre of music. There was rap, country, rock, hip hop, jazz, pop, new age, and classical. Kay, so not many people know but rap is an element of hip hop. Hip Hop is actually culture not a genre; rap just fits under the umbrella of it as a way to convey the message of Hip Hop. I absolutely despise hip hop, and I'm fully aware of what I'm talking about. Because I've done research on it.

So this random guy (I won't speak his name) comments me and says: "No, hip-hop doesn't have to involve rap. Seriously."

I say: "I know what I'm talking about, believe me. Hip Hop is not a genre; it is simply a lifestyle/culture. It has these elements: DJing, rap, graffiti, and dancing. Seriously."

And then out of ABSOLUTELY NO WHERE HE'S LIKE: "And do you think about where you wallet is at every time you see a black guy?" Okay, that really set me off; I mean no...he doesn't know what color I am, but I've never been so insulted in my life as a Black person! And more importantly, what in the world did that have to do with anything we're talking about? I mean we're talking about rap music not black men. Two different things. TWO DIFFERENT PLANES.

I replied nicely to him: "Don't have to, because I am black. So do you think I look like a hoochie mama? " Haven't heard back from him since, and I'm glad. I don't want to hear from him. Such...well...ignorance. I'm not gonna blame him because hey, who on the Internet knows my ethnicity besides my friends and moi? I'll give him that, but he needs to watch his mouth when he's making blanket statements to people.

Too Hot! It's officially way too hot to take pictures of my dolls. I find I have inspiration to take pictures of them, but the heat saps it away. I'd do indoor shots, but the lighting inside absolutely horrible. Sunlight is blocked by the trees and bushes. It makes it hard to take pictures at all.

No more Pullips I love my girls, but most of them are down. Sawyer is cool, but her HB Obitsu is pissing me off to put it bluntly. I'm going to get her a soft bust; I don't care if I have to colorfast everything; I'm sick of it. Also, Nanette...I don't even want to talk about her right now, but that malevolent sealant....flaked off her face. In spite of these drawbacks, I really want to keep up the Doll A Week meme, so I'm sure you'll enjoy seeing the Pinkys in place of my Pullip dolls. It's easier to take pictures of them inside than the Pullips, for some reason.

Return of the Photostories! My Pinky:St photostories are coming back. I stopped doing them because it got slow around the Pinky forums and busy in my life. Lord's will, I'll restart them next week.

And found I don't weigh 121 pounds anymore. I was SHOCKED. JUST SHOCKED to find I weighed NINETY (90) POUNDS. Oh wait...let me drop the towel in my hand...oops...it's really EIGHT-SEVEN LBS. No, I'm not complaining or bragging that I'm too thin...I'm appalled to see that I got so light! And I started freaking out thinking that my parents would think I'm anorexic or bulimic.

But there's no way I can be... I food. At the picnic last Saturday, I had three chili dogs, two ribs, and a piece of cake and...a few cookies. Yesterday, I had five corn muffins, eight pieces of fried shrimp, battered fries, yams, and greens, and topped it off with 10 McNuggets, Mr. Pibb and French fries.

Again, not bragging, I wanna know where my 121 went. What had I been doing for the past few weeks to get so thin? Ah, that's right...I've been eating breakfast in the mornings, curtailing my hunger and causing me to eat lighter lunches and epically destroy dinner.

Should I be on Nathan's National Hot Dog Eating Contest? But seriously....Sadly, today, Takeru "The Tsunami" Kobayashi, is keeping up with his losing streak. RAWR that Chestnut...we'll get you yet! YOU ATE 20,000 CALORIES OVER THE ALLOWED DAILY LIMIT FOR MEN ANYWAY!!

Thanks to the Good Lord hearing my prayers, my jaw doesn't hurt as badly anymore. Especially, when I wake up in the morning, it would ache so much. Now it doesn't. There's still some pain, but I think it's healing up.

Nané is finished! I didn't do a lot of damage to her. I started sanding her on Sunday, but it was like God told me sand lightly. I had no idea why I was; I just realized I was doing it. When I looked at Nané's faceplate, the sealant that had plagued her face was gone. O_o! (no, duh, but amazing to me regardless) So I thank God for it. I was able to darken her make-up some and a few things here and there. I thank God I didn't have to sand/repaint/suffer in eternal agony.

and I are supposed to be hanging on Thursday to take pictures of our dolls. Should be an exciting adventure.

I ordered Sawyer's body. She'll be back off hiatus soon.

New news that pretty much only my parents and know about.

I'm going on day 6 of epic jaw pain. I've not mentioned it on my journal, because I've been popping Advil/Ibuprofen like candy. Apparently, I have TMJ disorder which is Temporomandibular Joint disorder. Basically, I was chewing the wrong way because of a wire jabbing the opposite side of my mouth. I felt a nice pop and that same night, HORRID PAIN. It feels like I have a toothache, earache, and headache all at once. It's sensitive to anything warm and aches like crazy. I can't stand it. So yeah.

So last week I entered Yunie's video contest on YouTube out of boredom and because I didn't get to watch all of her vids. I have to say it was really fun. And even though I didn't get first place (first place prize is a gorgeous lolita outfit made by her), I got second, and that's awesome enough for me. ^^ But I love her vids. Check her out sometime. I started watching the news because that's all my parents watch now(this is news to me ), and I can't watch Law and Order, House, or NCIS! (because the news is always on) But yeah, I'm not a political person, and I don't vote for anyone. I have to say, though, I'm very outraged at Obama's firing of Gerald Walpin, and for what reason? He's old and senile, totally incompetent.

-Problem #1: The prez is supposed to give a 30-day notice before firing a person in that position. He only gave Walpin 1 hour to quit or get fired.

-Problem #2: Glenn Beck gave Walpin the mini mental health exam, and OMG Walpin actually passed it! Beck gives Walpin the senility test: [link]

-The real reason he got fired? Because he was doing his job. Investigating Sacramento mayor (and Obama's good buddy), Kevin Johnson for mismanagement of funds. Basically, Obama fired him because the simple fact Kevin is his friend. What a bunch of hoopla. I'm sorry for the political rant, but I can't help but not get mad at injustice!

Somewhat new news that people can figure out on their own.

On my sales, I've made $40~ So at the end of the week, I'll be purchasing Sawyer's new body and getting supplies for Nanette's make-over. I'm just gonna call it that, so I can get excited over it. I don't want it to be a chore, because I've made it one all this time. I want this to be the last time, and I'm gonna make myself have fun while doing it!

As most of you know, my great-great uncle passed away, so tomorrow, I'm going up to his funeral.

So I'm selling wigs and bodies maybe a few eyechips. A few days from now Sawyer will be a head, since her body is being shipped off somewhere. And she'll continue to be a head until I get her a new body.

As for Nanette, I'm going to end up resanding her (yes, again.) I'm happy with her face...of course, but I'm not happy about the residue the sealant left on her face. There's no way I can get it off without sanding. So once again, she'll be repainted. Bleh. Hopefully, this will be the LAST TIME.

Since the day must go on, though...

Sawyer's pegholder in her waist, cracked a month ago, so now she needs a new body. It was amazing, all of sudden she got so floppy; bugs me to death.

Mango's wig keeps getting scarier and scarier. Know whenever I put hair in a ponytail it's a sign of: A) I don't want to deal with it, or B) A new wig is coming soon. In the case of Sawyer, it's A, and no she won't be getting a new wig. I'm fond of the style she's sporting now. But Mango, I'm sorry, a new wig you must get. Until then, you won't see any pics of her. Why? Because I can't stand her wig, nor stand to play around with it while I'm taking photos. Takes up too much time.

Nanette is missing a screw on the back of her head. I don't know what was wrong with it, but it wouldn't screw in. Just kind of fall in there. So she needs a new screw.

And the girls do need more clothes, as I've whined over for the millionth time.

In N Out may not call here, so I need to start looking for another job. I hate job-hunting. Even when the economy was awesome, no one called. I think it's just me. My hopes are to get a summer job before the end of June~ Wish me well.

As for the rest of the girls living in this semi-cramped room, theirs won't come into some time from now, depending on when I get them some new clothes. Which entirely depends on my getting a job.

I'm gonna update this. So my custom has been slowly worked upon, without a hope of getting her done. However, since my roommate's mom lost her job, she can't stay in the apartment anymore. I, not wanting another roommate (because the complex just throws anyone up here), am going to leave and go back home for the summer. I don't want to be working on a custom back there and playing around with airbrushes. Now it's the race against time to finally complete Nanette before the end of May, so I can pack her up and take her home safely.

Unfortunately, some of the stupid varnish rubbed off the bottom of her chin, and I realized the varnish had made her skin color darker than what it's supposed to be. Probably thickness. So I'm going to re-spray paint around her make-up in a different color that is as close to marrone as I can get. Pray I can get the color right! It's so difficult.

Those such as the stupidity of airbrush paint, acrylic paint chip on the eyelids, the sealant isn't here yet, I don't want to paint her body, and I don't want to hold an airbrush ever again. EVAR.

Despite the minor evils right now, I'm focusing on changing the hue of my girl's Obitsu body from orange-marrone to a darker cappuccino brown.

Hopefully, she'll be done by Wednesday.

Sawyer finally has her new wig, after a long, annoying battle with her stock wig. It just gradually turned into frizz-central, and I couldn't take it anymore. I searched high and low for a wig that was as close to her stock wig as possible. I checked every BJD wig shop I could find, but none could match the beauty and luster as her old wig. After petitioning the good Lord to help me find a wig, He reminded me of the girl who bought wigs from eBay. After going on eBay, I found the perfect wig that looks just like her stock. Thus, I find myself excited.

As for classes, they are going well. I haven't gotten any bad grades, and I'm keeping up with my assignments diligently, because last quarter I just really slacked off. But my excuse was that my class schedule was absolutely gay!

Anyway...thanks to everyone who faves my work. Much appreciated. Remember to look, enjoy, do not steal, and we'll be on good terms.

Last night I pierced Sawyer's ears. That was as scary as taking apart her head....just.... On a good note, I adjusted her obitsu, so her head wouldn't bobble if I moved her. It wasn't bobble-head wobbly, just a tad unstable. I fixed it, and now her head doesn't do that anymore! Yay!

And then I proceeded to pierce her ears. The hot pin method didn't work for me, being that I didn't have an open flame, and the stove burners weren't getting it. I took a trip out to OSH and bought the smallest drill bit they had, took it home and drilled (manually) into her ears while watching i Go to Japan. But the task was definitely putting her head back together again. Everything went smooth, except between the scalp and replacing her wig back on. The scalp is floppy to say the least, and the wig doesn't cover a lot of her head....sadly...I may have to fix that when I get back.

Anywho, I finished up 98% of my work...praise God. I was actually able to stand up today. As in, I was actually able not to pass out and walk without stumbling over air. Quite an accomplishment, but I did half-way fall asleep in class. I'm telling you, my art teacher is boring and his jokes are not funny. I am so getting a better schedule next year. I mean forget two day classes. Seriously.

Back to the Pinky:St...#14 Maki will be arriving. Her name will be Koko Nara Minami. And there's another Pinky:St that's on preorder that I want as well, but I'll have to see if I get a job or not. That's it for the day.
