I've seen quite a lot of people doing this lately. I've decided to post mine as well... for fun

STEP ONE
Make a post to your DA journal. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your DA or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it.

You need not spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Give, and you might receive. and you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Okay, I admit that was a little mean. << But oh well, let's see who fell for it and who actually read the journal. |D

However, the last week has been quite shitty for me. Not only I had to work more than usual at the supermarket, nooo, also a *friend* dumped me down, oh well, life keeps going on, everything just follows its destination~
Still, I've been quite emo over the last couple o' days and felt simply meh and blah~ used the time to doodle, watching 'Let's plays' of games I used to love, cleaning my room a little and tried to drown my sorrow into music and reading (Lycidas ftw!!! <3). At least better than getting alcohol and destroying my last bit of brain cells, no? 8D
Feeling emotionally better now but I got some heavy stomachache and feel the whole time like I had to barf but of course I had not to. It's weird. I just hope it won't turn into some kind of flu again.

It's been a while since I updated my journal here.
Time to clean this dusty corner full of cobwebs.

I'm glad I finally got the motivation to start on the second commission for a classmate. Also I almost finished the smurf commission for a workmate of my father. After those are done I really ought to start on the other b/w commissions I still haven't done. Probably I end up redoing them completely since I don't like the outcome of the sketches...

other than that I discovered the joys of the offline life. I spent quite a lot of time reading books(Lycidas for the win!) and being outside lately. : D

I just set up a new MSN account. While I was cleaning my emailinbox of my former account I noticed I got a hatemail from a person I don't even know.
If you wonder why I changed my MSN because of a single hatemail, it's because the thought of having this person in my contact list bugs me. As I said before I don't know the person nor did I recognize the email address. I checked all my online galleries and found none where my msn/email address was public. That lead me to the conclusion that someone of my contact list who knows how to contact me via email created another email just to sent me this hatemail. oo Though, it could have been someone who simple guessed my email address, as well, since it's not that hard to guess. Never use a username for your messengers/emails, I learned my lesson.

Long story short: new msn, I'll only add people I know better; whether that's online or offline
