So, would anybody read a hand-drawn, surrealist/dadaist, moers-meets-dahl-meets-douglas-adams webcomic with too many words and not enough jokes, if i were to make one? because it seems to be happening. uh-oh.

First, there's Not only is she a hugely talented and original artist, but she's been a really great friend to me, i can't thank her enough for all the encouragement and whatnot she's given me.

Next we got All i can say is he puts himself down too much. his latest deviation particularly is very goood!

's work is really unique and lighthearted. i love the tongue-in-cheek style of his photography. he needs to be more active on DA!!!

is ridiculously good at manga, and won't stop improving! why she puts herself down so much i'll never know, but her latest deviations look as good as any professional i know of, and those are just the doodles. it's really rather scary. she's also a better writer than me which annoys me because she WONT GIVE HERSELF ANY CREDIT! GAH!

has a unique eye for photography, i love just about ALL his work. i hope he wins the young photographer of the year thingy.

i really admire his photography, though some peices more than others... eheheh. perhaps we've had our differences, and i really regret that. can we start a clean slate?

IS A GOOD ARTIST. just to make my true opinion perfectly clear. i just wish he'd take art and DA more seriously - and that's not something i'd usually say... just, stop the horrible doodles. please?

HAS MAD SKILLS. that is all. Argh! is he my favourite cartoon artist??

Or is it ?? They both have incredible natural talent for comics and drawing that i envy enourmously. oh boy.

then there's stop the manga phil! latest deviation- AWESOME. his photoshop abstracts are underrated too... i wish other deviants would try as many new things as he seems to.

so, i guess that's about it... i hope i haven't left anyone out...

This time, the idea is to have a huge collab. account, which anyone who joins has the password to, any anyone can add to or edit the devs.
for example, we were thinking of having a kinda pixelart mural, where anyone can just add a little bit to it when they feel like it and see how it grows, see how big we can get it.

should be fun.
any thoughts? also some name ideas would be good. "huge collab account" just doen't sound that catchy.

This is how it works.

Your existing deviations DO count.

Categories are NOT the default DA ones, there must be hundreds of them.
just take the type of art, eg:
Traditional paintings, Digital art, Writing or Photography,
and the theme, eg:
Surreal, Astract, Manga, whatever.
So you end up with something like:
Abstract paintings, Humour writing, Street photography.

It's a competition to complete as many as possible, but DON'T RUSH THEM. That's no fun for anyone.

I'll post results for each month and total ever, for every person involved, in a journal.
i't be fun if other people playing would post them in theirs too, but whatever if you don't want to.

Solarwind! [link] will we? won't we? it's all rather exciting. For those "not in the know" Solarwind is a comic / graphic novel thing being slowly but surely planned between me and . When the final pages arrive, we'll most likely create some sort of joint account for them. i'll post a link to it when it's done.

Art trades with ! Great fun, but for me, it's a bit confusing. any advice on how an art trade is supposed to work would be useful. sounds kinda stupid written down. oh well.

Project paint a door! A leftover door, some paint. we'll see what happens.

Some writing! My other great passion has always been writing. Thought i'd finally pull my finger out and give it a go. written one page so far! it's going to be a kind of surrealist adventure where nothing makes much sense and nobody seems to care. that's my brief anyway.
to give you an idea what to expect, the first sentance as it stands at the moment is;
"Lofty was shouting into the fruitbowl again."
I also wan't to include elements of picture books, it seems DA gives you the option to have a picture at the beginning of each chapter. some artwork to accompany it then.

So that's what you can expect in the not too distant future. maybe. who knows?
