As my life continues on its inevitable course I have found less and less time to draw, or even less check this site.

In other words my hiatus will be indefinate until a time when I can finish my art.

When I became a member of this site I was pretty active on the net, was involved with forums and chat rooms and talked to ppl on IM all the time. Well today is a complete 180 compared to then...
The only time I have for internet is to surf or research... or when I am playing my beloved FFXI with my lovely fiancee and the dear friends I have made on that game. I am no longer a part of any forums or chat rooms...

Otherwise I am working....
I work 4 nights a week at Suncoast Video and 5-6 days at #1 occupation at the EYNC. and I have just recieved a promotion as coordinator of programs, which adds more to my already full plate...
But I am happy and fulfilled on this course and have been content spending time with the people physically with me in my life rather than the distant faceless ones I will never meet here on the net.

As for deviant art it has been a fun run of a year and 4 months... but it is over, my purpose for being here has changed with me and I no longer have a purpose to continue on this site.

I am also going to take my pictures off, only cuz since I won't be on here anymore I don't want them here for people to steal. If you want one for your own personal use you can contact me via email. niterosewench@hotmail.com

Thank you everyone here for your support and your beautiful art, I may still stop by to browse and see what the future artisits of the world have to offer.

well... I didn't get the fish and game position but I did get the other second job I was really wanting back and that was working at Suncoast Video^^. So... more postponing on pictures since I will be working days and nights at 2 jobs...

well... I guess I should stop posting journals if I'm not posting art either.... I've been postponing new drawings for months and I'm sure most ppl here are tired of waiting for me to post new stuff, if they even care that much :/

Too be honest drawing for me is a small side venture... not even one of my top hobbies but people always say I'm good at it... but I go through spurts of creativity then long periods of nothing... thats me pure and simple

So someday I will post something new... until then I guess Im going on hiatus from posting here for awhile....

Ok... ppl can be SUCH losers... and I feel I need to spread the word about this

One of my favorite Inuyasha fanartists for years and one of the sweetest and coolest ppl on the planet is getting her art stolen by ppl who are taking credit for it (putting it on THIER products at conventions ) AND two of her works are currently being reveiwed by DevART cuz they don't think they are hers. !!

If any of you know Kuro then you know about this...

If you do not know of Kuro and love Inuyasha.. where have you been?? Kuro has been one of the only ppl on the net who have scanlated current chapters of Inuyasha Manga for us non-Japanese literate folks and has given us great IY info and most importantly beautiful works of Inuyasha fanart that are truly inspirational to fellow fan artists like myself... all on her beautiful website [link]

As a result of these aggravating events she is stopping her drawings of Inuyasha () which I totally understand and cannot blame her, if this happened to me I would probably stop posting all together...

All I ask is that you look at her drawings.... if you see anyone else with those pictures and claiming they are thiers
REPORT THEM!!!! PLEASE!!!!

Let's make the world a little more safe for our fellow artists... especially the ones who inspire us so much, like Kuro.

So just got back from my groovy trip to Anaheim and Disneyland (GO PIRATES!)...
Went to Little Tokyo in LA.. sweetness.. got new manga drawing books and FFXI soundtracks since I am a dork like that >.>
I have been drawing a bit again... but still nothing has been colored so I got a lot of black and white sketches... that need color... and I did draw a tribute to the recent IY manga chapter as promised... dunno if I'll wait for color or post in scraps... really need to put photoshop on my comp again... however...

My brand new comp baby DIED on me >< f'n DELL, got it in Februrary and its dead already ><. Fix it man comin on Monday.. On my BF's comp right now to update this.. been off the comp for a week... no FFXI x.X

Got a job offer working for Department of Fish and Game... I'll be a government agent^^.. jk. Have interview in 2 weeks so that will be 2 jobs year round... let's see how this goes... >.> but I seriously excited since it will pay more than my current job (go fig >< curses County) and have benefits (kills County). Hope I get it^^

Last thing here about art....

I'm trying to change my art subject... don't get me wrong I still love IY... but IY unfortunately ; ; isn't mine /sob. So that is one reason for the lack of art as I try to find my own voice in this world of art... however... I am planning of drawing a POTC pic as soon as I can get the pose from DMC... <3 Capt. Sparrow^^ yes something NON IY and NON anime O.o. Plus some FFXI pics.. and other things.... hopefully... in the next few months....

Things will be so much better when I get $$$ -.-

I felt like writing something here... a little story...

15 years ago, in the summer of 91 and I was in 5th grade... my mother told me about a kitten she heard crying in the pasture next door, apparently another dumped cat which is not uncommon when you live out in a rural area. She told me to go over with a saucer of milk to see if I could find the poor animal. Hiding herself in a thick bramble of blackberry bushes I discovered a frightened grey tabby kitten, whose mews slightly squeaked like a mouse....who was not accustomed to people. I left her the saucer of milk and backed away... timidly she came out and lapped at the white liquid till her protective instinct took over and she hid inside the brambles again. Every day it was the same, sometimes it was with a saucer of milk, other times a dish of wet cat food. She was a silver grey tabby with gold green eyes, believed to be an abyssinion(sp?) mix. Each day I crept up closer and closer and finally one day my fingers were allowed to caress that lush grey fur. As time passed one day I was proudly able to carry her home and she was mine. She was the second cat to come live with us and was the only cat allowed to sleep with me in my room. A year later she had 5 beautiful kittens in my closet. Which was quite a feat for relatively small cat as she was. She was the most doting mother you had ever seen, she never let them leave her sight. An unfortunate accident took the life of 3 of them and she rescued as many as she could. As her two sons grew she played with them and when they were old enough to be on their own she shooed them away at every possibility. Despite her being somewhat smaller than them, she was always first to the food bowl and a constant 'Queenie'. During my high school years she was my confidant, someone I could talk and spill my heart and secrets to without anyone ever knowing. She was my friend, she would often welcome me when I got home from school and in later years work. I would sometimes find her sleeping in the old warn out trailer on the yard or sneaking onto the roof to lie in the sun (despite how my father hated it). She was my father's favorite of our animals too. No matter what she did she was able to find his soft spot and be easily forgiven. She would even follow me, prancing on her small paws with her tail sticking up as I lead her to the house for dinner. No matter who met her, they loved her. She was the epitomy of a cat, aloof and loving and mysterious. She was my companion, my true friend and I could tell she loved me unconditionaly whenever I looked into her content green gold eyes. She was my 'Baby-girl', my 'Doodlebug'.

The small grey kitten that squeaked like a mouse, was my Kilroy. And today she left this world, peacefully how she wanted to.
Thank you for being with me for so long through everything you helped me get through. Until we meet again...

I love you forever and will miss you, Kilroy, my baby-girl and doodlebug.

Ok...well I no longer work at Suncoast Video... I got laid off. Darn holiday shift ><. So now me have less $$$. I am not dead ><
Just been extremely busy, still working two jobs >< so I only get one day every two weeks off....I do have like 12 sketches I need to post and I will post them as soon as my BF helps me dig the printer/scanner out from under his desk ><

For the past month I have had really no creative urge what-so-ever until recently again^^ I started drawing and writing this last week^^

I saw Harry Potter 4 and Narnia this past week and have plans to see them again....especially Narnia....GAWD THAT WAS SO GOOD!
I love fantasy films and the technology of CG has brought to life so many wonderful fantasy images on screen.....I love it^^


I know I have said this before....(and I feel really bad about that ).....but more sketches WILL BE POSTED.....ASAP....

Also....three of my 's seem to be very popular over the rest and I constantly get comments on them or see them in faves....so I am thinking about making them into prints.... (granted that someone explains to me how I can access that option again for those three (do I have to resubmit??? ))

Just finished watching ALL of 'Scrapped Princess' and I might add it is not a bad anime....I enjoyed it, Pacifica got really annoying sometimes....she was too helpless all the time....why is it that 15 year old heroines in anime tend to be completely helpless yet so endearing that everyone loves them? Just kind of an annoying trend. Yet the side characters are always so cool and interesting. But go see it if you haven't, very interesting little story and some fanart from that series is definately in the works. ^^

Well I posted the first chapter to my fanfic, the scene that 'Moment Under Stars' was inspired by is in there...will post up more chapters if people are reading it.

All the ambition I had of posting the rest of my work and getting some 'in progress' ones done were thrown out the window this last weekend....along with cleaning my house....

I got tonsilitis (sp?)....don't wish this on my worst enemy....hurt so much just to swallow water for over 48 hours....now on my 5th day of this wonderful virus I can drink with only a slight discomfort.....oh yeah and my voice is non exsistent.......

Well I am working on non-Inuyasha stuff....some Samurai 7 pics and I think some Elfen Lied ones as well...oh and BLEACH too. But I can't lie....am still drawing some IY as well....but more Kikyou...don't feel there are enough Kikyou pics in the world.....
