Wow... It's already July. ARGH!!! Less than a month until school is back in session. And I still have 2.5 more weeks of my summer English class that I'm taking.

In other news, I've been reading through the Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia Wrede again. I've noticed that there are no pictures of my favorite character, Telemain, on the site so I'm starting to feel that a sketch of him will be mandatory at the least.

Just one more thing to add to my list of ever growing projects.

That and I've recently been playing Tales of Symphonia again so my art is probably going to start floating in that direction for the time being... Like stuff with Sheena... or Yuan, or Kratos, or Martel... or Yuan and Martel... or the group that includes Yuan, Kratos, AND Martel... XD

As a side note, I've started to fave a lot of Inuyasha things. I've liked the series for four years now, don't ask me why I've had this sudden revial in it. Probably it's because of the sudden increase in Sesshoumaru, Rin, Jaken, and Kohaku. I always liked their group and problems more than the angst the main group always puts out.

Still like Avatar and Naruto better though.

But... I updated!! Hooray! Even though only two things made it into my gallery and three into my scraps. I think I'm going to stop coloring for a while. Perhaps that will make me more productive.

Sasuke's being a dork again. Can't wait for the latest chapter which will probably be up by Friday. First he betrays Konoha, now it looks like he's going to betray Orochimaru?!?!

As bad as Zuko... worse even. Why?

And I have a new weird ship that used to scare me, Kakasaku. Don't ask me why... I'm still Sasusaku, but just incase Sasuke doesn't make it through to the end, I'm prepared to jump ship. Horrible, yes I know, but so is Sasuke.

I hate my brother's friends. Correction, I HATE my brother's friends. They go all over the house thinking it's their own, blasting their hard rock as they do. It's enough for me to throw my cereal bowls at them... which brings to another argh moment.

My brother's pretty good at cleaning up after them, meaning that it's also semi messy if he follows them. But my brother's a late sleeper on the weekends so for an hour or so they have free run of the house. So, if they're hungry, does that mean they wake up my brother or get me to ask what they can eat? NO!!!

They go into the pantry, set off a few mousetraps (since we have a mouse in the house somewhere), don't bother to reset them, take out one of my favorite kinds of cereal that I was saving, completely maul the bag trying to open it even though they make it so easy that a four-year old could, use up all the milk except for a tiny bit at the bottom which equates to a few drops (I still used it nonetheless... hate wasting milk), spill crumbs all over the counter, use up the rest of the spoons, only eat half of what they pour, and then they leave the bowls with all the perfectly good milk in them and soggy cereal in the sink (they don't even pour the milk down the drain). Then they go upstairs and start playing my brother's X-Box.

I get hungry after checking my messages and stuff, go downstairs, and immediately get angry. So of course it's the little sister's FAULT so being SOOOOO uptight about it. "Yeah, man. Why can't she just chillax?"

ARGH!!!! How 'bout I throttle you while I'm at it!?!?!!? But yeah, as long as they stay out of my room and their gone by the time I get back... I think I won't become a serial killer yet.

But... end rant. I scanned some things in this morning, but the colors got screwed up while I was trying to smooth out the kinks. So I'm going to have to go in and scan them in all over again. Meaning update either later today or tomorrow. But today's kind of busy so I'm not sure.

PS: ANOTHER reason I HATE my brother's friends. They seem to think that f*** is a normal everyday part of speech and not a swear word at all. Just like G** dammit and all variations thereof. That wouldn't be so bad in itself, but it's SUNDAY!!! You'd think they'd try to be a bit more polite... heathens.

PPS: ARGH!!!! They just asked why there were all these mousetraps everwhere, and I reply rather sarcastically, "Because there's a mouse in the house."

So they yelled back, "Sorry Mother!"

RAWR!!!!!!!!! AGGGHHHHH! Let me kill them God PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!

It really stinks. They lug you all over the airport if you have a long connection, and it gets pretty boring, since you can only sit down for so long until you have to get up again and travel somewhere else with some random other kids.

And so I made up something to do. For every new kid I saw, I started the conversation with, "So... Do you like Avatar?"

And the results came in... Out of 15 kids, only three liked Avatar. And that's including me. So 1:5 or 1:7, whichever you prefer, is the ratio of kids who like Avatar. Of course, half of them said they heard of it, but hadn't bothered to watch it. Only one or two said they didn't like it.

The things one does when one's bored. XD

As for Early Endings... Well. It seems that a lot of things will be over by the time this year finally ends in twelve months. Pirates of the Carribean... the Harry Potter Series... not to mention Avatar. O.O I CAN'T WAIT!!!! And yet I know that after they're finished, there will be some weird hole in me where what seemed like a never-ending story used to be.

And last but not least... stampless-ness. It seems that they're growing in number, (the stamps, that is.) But that's okay!!! ^_^ I can keep on going without stamps. (Although I really want that AWS one.) Eh... Maybe I'll ask for subscription or something on my birthday. It depends on if I'll still wanted. (I'm weird like that.)

THE EARTH KING HAS A NAME!!!

If you couldn't guess from the title of my post, it's Kuei. (Which is an awesome name if you ask me!) And apparently he's the 52nd Earth King. He accended the throne at the age of 4... at which Long Feng was his advisor then too. And the old kings were very war like. ^_^ So all of that's helpful for the construction of my past Avatar OC.

Under 'New Characters'in CRoD, they had Iroh listed as 'Dragon of the West'. Split-personality or just wicked coolness?

And my favorite thing, of all things was under the Guru. And that concerned metalbending under 'New Items'. This is a direct quote.

In other news, I'm starting to get my annual cold. I always get one around now so that by the time Christmas rolls around, my throat's too inflamed to talk normally let alone sing Christmas carols. That's why I sing them during the rest of the year, when they're out of place and annoy people.

Zuko and Azula!! ^_^ At first I was like "WTF Zuko! What about Uncle Iroh?!" But when I thought about it, I'd rather have IC Zuko fall for Azula's scheme again, then have a psycho happy Zuko join the Gaang. Which reminds me...

The Guru scared me... A lot. And I'm not talking about Guru Pathik. I mean the episode. Zuko was all smiling and... urgh. It looked like a demon had possesed when he slept. So yes, even though it was really stupid when he challenged Azula to an Agni Kai (I did the forehead smack a split second before Iroh) I was all like "Yay! Impulsive non-thinking Zuko who cares about his honor is back! Squee!"

And my friend was over too by the way. We got into all these discussions after we had finished watching it straight through the first time. The first was about the scale of the map. There's this big bay on the world map by the Eastern Air... Islands? Anyway, it's as big as Ba Sing Se on the huge map, and in episode it was about five football fields. So we had fun imagining exactally how big the Desert really was... (Me thinks Cactus Juice was at work)

So yeah going on. Azula rocks. Especially her line of, "Whoever controls the Dai Li controls Ba Sing Se." Or something similar. It gave me the clue off that Ty Lee and Mai were just play acting in the following scene. In fact, a little halfway through my friend commented on how Ty Lee was being stupid and I replied with "No, it's all according to Azula's plan" a second before Azula appeared from behind the pillar.

Then we got into this whole thing over Long Feng's eyes and whether they were green or gray- (They're like a combination of the two.) during the close up where Azula takes over the Dai Li. Azula really DID plan everything from the beginning. She knew exactly how to twist Zuko into joining her, so I can't blame him for what he did. (The following was analyzed by both my friend and I.)

First off all, she started with how she needed Zuko. And only TOGETHER would they be able to win. No matter how bad he hides it, Zuko wants to be recognized and needed. Also, when Iroh tried to stop Zuko from making a hasty decision, Azula quickly shut him up, knowing their relationship. She also used that relationship against them, telling her uncle to let Zuko make his own decisions. "Let HIM decide what he wants Uncle." In this way she manages to sneak in the thought that maybe Zuko has been letting his uncle run his life and he's no different than before. She also first addresses him with "Hello Zuko. PRINCE Zuko" before she goes on about how she never thought Zuko was a traitor to the fire nation. This is very much like how Sokka asked whether Aang was more important than her tribe in the first episode. No matter how much pain it has caused him, Zuko is still Fire Nation.

Then in the midst of everything, she says the decision is up to him and sends the Dai Li off and walks away. So no longer is she the manipulate sister with the silent escort watching him make his decision. Azula is now his sister and she is giving his room to make his decision as an equal. And then... Last but not least... The two-on-two fight.

Azula planned it down to the last second. Even when Zuko came out, he was still undecided (probably). (Hence the fireball that didn't hit anyone.) But when he looked at Azula and she looked back at him as if she had been betrayed, that was when Zuko switched loyalties. It's as plain as the smirking expression on Azula's face in the next scene that she had planned all of it. (Or so my friend and I believe.)

Another thing I think was interesting. It's hard to tell when Azula is firebending and when she's lightning bending. You can only tell by how the blue stuff looks and whether it's jagged or flaming. But if you looked closely, Azula, in the two-on-two fight, first attack with lightning, but then used fire for the rest of the match. This is smart otherwise they'd all be dead from the lightning-water conductor.

I won't get into shipping too much. The whole episode pretty much switched off and on from Zutara! Kataang! Zutara! Kataang! Zutara! Kataang!

And yes. That is the exact way the episode went. Zutara from the trailers. Kataang when Aang left training to find Katara. Zutara with the cave scene. Kataang when Zuko joined Azula. Zutara when Aang apologized to Katara and entered the Avatar state. And lastly Kataang when Katara healed Aang and hugged again.

The only shipping thing I'll point out is that on the way back to Ba Sing Se, Toph is clutching Sokka's arm while riding Appa. But that could also be because they don't have another sadle yet.
