Thanks to all who enjoy my work. Feedback and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

Watching: Hitch

If I had to give myself a title it would be digital photo artist. As much as I dislike referring to myself as an artist, I think it fits best. My medium and expression is digital, I love the instant gratification and the ability to reach out to millions of people thousands of miles away. Photography is my chosen tool. Originally I picked it up because o f my lack of illustrative talent. It has gone well beyond that and really changed the way I look at the world and everything around me. I only append the artist on there because what I capture with my camera is often no the image I had in my head. It is a means to get to what I want and it takes whatever “artistry I possess to finish the task. Digital is the paint; photography the brush. I am the artist.

I finished a very successful pinup shoot with Mana. I hope she likes the results. There were so many nice shots that it would have taken me forever to finalize all of them. I finally decided on 8 and may add a couple more after the weekend. Unfortunately I won’t be putting them all on dA. You’ll have to go to my website to see them (when I eventually update). For those wanted to see more of the Betty tattoo; I’m sorry that I wasn’t really focused on that and there aren’t any full tattoo shots.

None of my work is stock.
Thanks to all who enjoy my work. Feedback and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

Well I've accomplished some things in the past month. Got a Daily Deviation for one of my nudes on Deviant Art (on Mother's Day no less), another of my nudes on OMP was accepted into the b+w showcase, and a photo shoot I did for Mish got accepted by Suicide Girls. Can't wait to see what they do with it when it comes out of the indeterminate oblivion SG sets linger in.

I have plans for several nude works to do in the upcoming month. Will probably take three weeks before I actually get to shoot. Will be doing several couples and some female nudes. Maybe I'll get some fantasy stuff done as well. For those who have ever asked me if I do anything "tame", I''m inspired to go after a few non-nude things that have entered my mind.

Things to do:
Female Nude project, Code Name: Greek
Girls kissing, non-nude
Latex shoot, comic book/Shirow inspired
Uber Goth shoot
Face shots of Shan and Jessica
Pinup shoot, I'll have to ask Mana

None of my work is stock. I have no problems with inspired works (i.e. my pictures being used as models for drawings or pose ideas for photographs).
Thanks to all who enjoy my work. Feedback and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

Watching: Otogi Zoshi

I spent a while thinking about whether or not I would sumit anything this week. I did a photoshoot with a non-model. Along with jitters of first time shoots and inexperience, I didn't think I wanted to submit anything. With someone who is inexperienced posing, I usually just try to work through at an easy pace rather than nit pick and obsess as much as I normally would with a seasoned model. It may not make pictures that I really like, but it helps keep things easy and comfortable and builds trust and comfort for future work that will be of better quality because of it.

I decided to submit anyway. For the future I've decided to use my print account to be the sole repository of works I really like (I plan to clean it up jsut a little in the near future). dA will hold most of my work and my personal website will contain everything on dA and some works that are not.

The newest images of Talina are more personal and gritty and less elegant and abstract than the images of Chanti. Whether they are as well received; I don't know and I don't care. I must remind myself some time that I am ultimately creating erotic works. I may not be completely satisfied with all the other elements of composition, but if I can at least get a "nice tits", I have accomplished half of my aim.

None of my work is stock. I have no problems with inspired works (i.e. my pictures being used as models for drawings or pose ideas for photographs). I like to use illustrations and photos as inspiration all the time.
I am not really good at this journal thing, but I felt I really needed to get these thoughts down somewhere while they were fresh. I hope my rambling is coherent.

I have received several comments regarding lack of expression or emotion in some of my bondage shots. I don't really know to go with this actually. In my photography I am not playing with or having sex with my models. Due to the fact that I am pretty much going through all of my ties clinically and not focused on creating discomfort or ordeal, model expressions tend to be neutral. If I were to ratchet things up to create more pained or discomforted expression, I would feel I am crossing an ethical line I am not sure about crossing. Up to this point, I have only worked with models not performers. I would be interested in hearing the opinion of other photographers, models, and performers on this issue.
