I have a Biology exam on Tuesday, and that marks the last of the difficult exams for the rest of the year.

And to top it all off my favorite fanfiction was updated with two chapters. One being particularly hilarious. This must be an Edward Bloom day.

Has anyone checked out the new Joker comic by Brian Azzarello? It looks incredible; google it, it came out a couple days back. I can't wait for the summer holidays, I've got so much planned, I hope I get to everything; I've got another painting to finish and plan, beaches to go to (and to drag my friends to), sketching to do, movies to watch, ooooh...on that note, has everyone seen the Watchmen trailer?

Black Orchid (by Neil Gaiman (this dude's imagination is seriously messed!), illustrated by Dave McKean (My artistic hero...that man's work is genius))...

...and Neil Gaiman and Dave McKean's film: MirrorMask (about a girl called Helena Campbell, which is odd, because that's often the name I use as an alias, Campbell is our old Scottish family name on my grandpa's side, Helena is a combination of my great grandmother's middlename (Emma; my name) and my mom's middlename)...

I also bought The Killing Joke; which is dead classy. Loving the Joker and Batman's antics here. Lol.

Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth is amazing. Go read/experience it.

I really enjoyed it, even though I'm not the kind of person who likes the great outdoors very much...
I've got SOOO many funny stories to tell you all;
it was baisically a 5 day camp; 2days @ base camp then 3 days on the river.
I wish you all could have seen my luggage. My parent (who don't camp either) went out with a checklist and bought everything from the "Camp and Climb" store; the backpack was made for CLIMBING MOUNTAINS/HIKING UP EVEREST lol. so I was really...kitted out.

There were a few funny incedents of people capsizing/getting stuck on rocks...me and were rowing buddies; and went down most of the rapids backwards/sideways/spinning/screaming but didn't capsize thank goodness lol.

At our first campsite there were goats.

tame goats.

Said goats STANK and decided to sleep on people's sleeping bags and shat all over one of my friend's groundsheet. They also ate the coffee grinds.

It is not so nice to wake up with a goat staring down at you...they really do smell terrible...we named them Caffe Latte (we were obviously craving good coffee) and Fred and George.

took LOTS of photos of all of us on camp, and will hopefully post them soonish so that you all can check them out.

It was veeery funny to see how my classmates looked after 5 days of camping. We looked like a bunch of vagabonds. XDDD

Only thing that kinda sucks was that I missed an episode of Gray's Anatomy (my favorite show) but luckily my awesome 11 year old brother (Oliver) recorded them for me (we gots that PVR thing where you can record channels) so I'm gonna go watch it now

The 10 hour bus ride going to the Orange rocked. The one home sucked. Namibia is VERY ugly. It actually looks like Africa. Whereas Cape Town looks like...civilization. I'm sick of rocks and sand. Yay for skyscrapers and TV and computers.

The orange River is actually really pretty; you have to look at the photos, I'll put a link in a journal entry as soon as D-W puts them up ^^

Anyway. I'm really glad to be back. The trip was REALLY fun and memorable. But I don't think I'd do it again lol!

Still totally omfg in love with MCR's music...always will be. I'm rather determined to learn guitar after seeing their live DVD: life on the murder scene. My friend also wants to learn. So now I'm saving for an electic guitar, cause at the moment I only have my acoustic one.

School has been slowing down (thank goodness), because we're all EXHAUSTED. Also wanted to say that I have the most awesome background...lemme find a link...

well; for one I've been buuuusy with school; massive art project we have to get done; I'm doing a painfully realistic drawing...I say painfully because omfg it's taking so long...
And my poor standard poodle; Sophie was attacked by a bull terrior at the bottom of our street near a small river; the bull terrior swam the river just to attack my dog; who has never had any experience with fighting AT ALL...

luckily she's okay; though the bull terrior bit through some ligaments in her back; and she's been in and out of the vet's office; though the main thing was the trauma...thankfully she's on the mend now ^^
We've been trying to find the owner of the bull terrior; because he didn't give us his name; he's actually violated a law by letting his VERY aggressive dog off a lead in a public area, so the local police/dog aggression officers have been on the lookout for him or his dog; we're hoping we can find him...because having a dog like that puts other people and animals at risk.

In more light-hearted news my parents have decided to get me an applemac pro laptop so I can help run my mom's website which will be up shortly; gonna buy the laptop in a few days/weeks... and in other (more fangirlish) news, our local music store (which despite its massive selection) previously didn't have MCR's DVD: Life on the murder scene, has finally imported the DVD...so...naturally, I'm hyper. (lol...like a true MCR fangirl)

1. late evening in Boston; took off for 6 hour flight.
2. 6 hours later in London...
3. 11 hour lay-over in London
4. 10 hour flight back to Cape Town -> watched Blades of Glory; giggled stupidly/got strange looks, slept. ate god-awful aeroplane chow
5. landed in Cape Town; FINALLY HOME!!!^^
6. Watched all episodes of Gray's Anatomy that I had missed/watched Phantom of the Opera/caught up desparate housewives episodes that I had missed out on/unpacked bursting suitcase/huggled Theo and Tildy (our cats) ^^

I am so happy that the dead mans chest dvd has finally arrived; the bloopers of the caribbean are sooooo funny; Jack Davenport is SO hot ...

I am almost finished The Vampire Lestat; and the Vampire Chronicles remain my current fandom (until the next big movie with a hot star) but anyway...Eragon (a book I loved) is finally being made into a movie and I am ticking off the days till it hits the cinema circut...only 10 more to go.

Woot! I am so happy; I found a site where you can read the Vampire CHronicles manga...now; I don't usually read/draw anime...cause it all looks pretty much the same...but this manga is really good. If anyone wants the link...I am pretty sure I can find it again.

Just wanted to say that Limewire.com is the best thing I ever downloaded for my Laptop...ever. It's the fastest and easiest way to download music ( and totally free...I'm not 100% sure it's legal...but bleagh...who cares?)...speaking of music...heY! Trigger201!! School finally closed for the holidays! I missed the last day of school (I had a cold...go me and my immune system) but I am soooo happy now!

We also just came back from a short three day holiday on this AMAZING polo farm/ranch place. It was SO awsome...me and my brother rode horses everyday. I galloped. But, however, the second time I galloped; the horse decided it had had enough and wanted to go home so in mid gallop/canter it stopped. Naturally, having the EXCELLENT balance that I have, I did a somersault thing over it's head...injuring the horse more than myself (I was fine; landed on my backside then jumped up and chased the horse) poor animal was probably in shock. So, what do I do? I get back on said horse and start cantering really fast back up the field. Yup.

Okay, in other news, I am typing up a fanfic. All 'bout Balthazar and Constantine...mainly Balthazar. It has and age restriction for bad language (John speaks...'nuff said).

The weather is clearing up down here, it's not so freezing cold and soon we will be able to SWIM!! Okay. What have I not talked about? *weather. check. holiday. check. fanfic. check.*
Oh! and, I am going to upload some more drawings; of Roth. And I've animated the Constantine characters (Well, Bally and John) into wolves, so I may upload them, I have bucket loads of sketches. I should really write up Roth's story...I've been planning it for ages. Anyway, that was a LONG entry.

Okay, so balthazar doesn't get his own deleted scene but there was this whole featurette on him and Gavin Rossdale, that was really cool!! AND there was also a mistakes thing where they throw holy water at him but they use a water balloon, and then the water balloon gets stuck on his head. ya. so now i'm on a Balthazar high Balthy roooocks...gahhh. Snarky half-breed demons rock. Especially when they do their coin rolly thing. Anyway, so its four days till vacation in my insignificantly small country; and then we only get one week. But a break from school is a break from school :0 No homework or projects for an entire week and two days. And that means nine days of non-stop Constantine movie viewing. Yeesh that movie rocks. Oh, and i saw this screenshot of Balthy standing on top a staircase with his coin, doe this scene appear in the movie? its not in the deleted scenes...hmm...
anyway, gotta go (to watch constantine again!).
