I want to change my account to a new one that matches all my other online handles, Youshi Semenjyu. I know this will require a lot of effort in reuploading art, especially old art, but I think I will just start at my Giant Robo and One Piece art and work my way forward.

I get to go car shopping today. Don't know if I'll actually come away with one; my credit is a little iffy. I gots a rather poor score. Sigh. I feel like such a loooooooser.

But! The only way to improve that credit score is to keep making payments and keep track of my money. It takes time.

No more cosplay supplies until after AnimeFest Dallas, if we are able to go. I need to focus on work. Besides, that still leaves me with two months to finish Rikku and make Neptune. I'll be fiiiiine.

So I'm sitting here in McDonald's waiting for an hour to give my mom time to hit the bank. I'm hungry. ;_; I need to get back to work soon. I don't want/need to lose my job.

Wish I'd had Rikku done...but alas! Next convention!

I came home with some badass FFX Figurines, an AWESOME Reno Badge by CoralSnake, and a cold! My girlfriend was in the same boat as far as the cold goes too....Bleh!

I got to see everyone too! Misty, Melody, Kathryn, Justin, Mary, Asmaria, Jenny, and I got to meet Nikki! The best Wakka EVAR!

I really had a lot of fun...^_^ I can't wait to see some One Piece cosplay pics for realz!!

Jumping the gun a bit? I don't think so. Living out of my Dad's living room does not give one much space to toss stuff around, especially cosplay stuff. I can get away with things like...a laundry basket and shoes and bedding. Dad's getting tired of seeing the sewing machine on the table, and tired of seeing my wigs sitting on top of the entertainment center.

Three costumes for A-Kon!

Since Lori does not visit here...I can divulge her surprise costume here.

I had not intended to bring him because of the fact that last summer I completely lost my wig in the move to California. Now that I came back, I was able to obtain a new wig and restyle it. It's not NEARLY as nice or as bright as the previous one, but it's styled nicely. Eventually, I will get a good permenant one.

But, for all of Friday, be on the lookout for Reno from FFVII: Advent Children! Shhhh, don't spoil the surprise!

On Saturday morning, for the Hall Cosplay and Afternoon gathering, look for Black Lady from Sailor Moon! If there is a Sailor Moon Party at some point, I will wear her to that too.

Wig: Pretty Much Taken Care Of. Woot! I need a few Orange Feathers for the braids.

Goggles: Done!

Top:

Orange Vinyl Upholstery

Sculpey/Model Magic

Small LIGHT pink Beads

I'm going to use a thick dark orange thread to get the seamed look in the front, and the one down the back. The leather straps and buckles on the side are going to be functional, so that's how I'll get the thing on. The blue tails are going to be layered cotton, with the little flower pattern hand-cut and hemmed to have a layered look. I'm thinking of making the metal attachments out of sculpey or something similar. The collar of the shirt has liiight pink beads right before that little ruff that rests on her neck.

Arm Bands:

Green Vinyl

These will be simple. ^_^

Left Glove:

Fingerless Glove

This will be easy too. I'm going to buy a pair of fingerless gloves at a Police Supply or eBay and just make the red "X" and handsew it onto the back.

THIS is going to kinda bite. Gloves are icky to make. Maybe I'll get lucky and find a pattern.

This will be easy too! Just a fact of cutting the yellow and snapping it onto the base belt.

This is going to kinda suck too. I've seen shoes in that shape, so that won't be hard. But I have to make a sock of sorts (after serious study of the photos) and make the black cross straps and the rim along the calf detatchable via snaps. The feathers will be attached to the black vinyl rims.

If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions, they would be MOST welcome!

(Gonna forego the claw and thigh accessory for comfort and money restraints.)

A lot has happened since that last post...

Example: I am back in Oklahoma to stay!

I broke up with Jarod after a lot of...differences.

I have a puppy!

I'm back to cosplaying Sailor Neptune.

I am working on getting a new job, a new car, and renting my own house. ^_^

That's really one of the few words that I can use to describe the events that unfolded last night. I had a feeling something would go down, but DAMN.

Okay, this is how it is.

As some of you may know, Jarod rescued his grandmother's dog. Unfortunately, we had to leave the doghouse there for the time being, though we had planned to return ASAP to retrieve the house.

Also, some information you would need to know, is that also living in his grandmother's house is his aunt Sandy, and her boyfriend Terry. Both are heavily into drugs, and general lowlifes. Christie, Jarod's mom, had been helping Sandy out with some things like hair extentions, but since Sandy had never paid her, Christie sent her a straightforward (not nasty) letter saying that she wanted her payment.

So yesterday, Craig, Christie, Jarod, and myself make the trip over to the house to get the doghouse. We weren't there to cause trouble, we just wanted to get the house for the dog.

Well, Terry was there, and he was high as a kite on PCP. Jarod and I were standing on the back porch while Christie, Craig, and his grandmother were dealing with the doghouse. And all of a sudden, Terry leans out of the screen door andstarts whispering vulgar, crude things into Jarod's ear about his mother. I was standing right there, hearing it all, and going, "...Wait, what?" in my mind.

Christie noticed this, and called out, "What?"

And he went, "What?"

It went back and forth for a few minutes, and then they stopped, and Christie started back to helping with the doghouse again. THen, Terry started muttering into Jarod's ear again, and Christie goes,

"If you have something to say to me, then go right ahead!"

And Terry walks right up to her, and they meet in the middle, and he was just saying shit to her.

Then...he hit her. Not very hard, but he got her lightly in the cheek. And it was ON. He started trying to strngle her, and all of sudden, Craig was on him. Both Jarod and I knew that Craig could and would kill Terry if it got out of hand. It was an all out brawl. We kept trying to keep his grandmother out of the way, but she kept trying to get in the middle of it.

Sandy tripped Craig at one point, as if to help Terry out, and they both fell to the steps at my feet. I watched them gouging each others' eyes for a minute while Christe was trying to break his nose, and I realized how digusted and utterly repulsed by Terry I was.

So I hauled off and kicked him as hard as I could in the head.

It was fun.

Jarod tried bashing a flower pot over his head, but it turned out to be plastic. There were insults flying, and blood on all three of their faces. He tried to bite Christie's finger off!

THen there were more words exchanged, lots of insults, and we called the cops. The copsshowed up, but they did a shoddy job. THey only took Craig's name because he was a knife on him, and they didn't ask any of us anything. But Christie and Craig filed a report, and afterwards, we were all ready to go back and kick some more ass.

I really feel bad for Jarod's grandmother; she doesn't need to be living among such filth. I really wish they would have arrested Terry; the scumbag deserved it. I would have felt very vindicated.

I wish I could kick him in the head again.

I'm living in California now, and I have a pretty decent job. Unfortunately for me, though, the wig-making bug has bitten, and I have no money to create them. ALSO...I need about two wigs done for Anime Los Angeles in January, and I don't see that happening for some time. That really upsets me, because I imagine that if I don't have all the things I need for ALA, I might get kicked out of Brilliant Moon, and I don't want that because I love my BMC people, and I really want to cosplay with them. u_U

I need a Jupiter wig (about 50 dollars) and a Wicked Lady wig (about 90 dollars). I also need to either

1. Repair Youshi for wear at ALA

OR

2. Make Saria from The Ocarina of Time for ALA (I already have the wig made).

Sigh.

Then of course, came the really...interesting moment. Near the end of the picnic, we went back to the playground, and we decided to swing on a set of different swings. So I get on one and I'm swinging and all of a sudden, my goggles fell down into my face. So I kinda flailed my arms a little, trying to put them up, then I decided it would probably be a good idea to slow down the swing to where I can easily jump out of it without injury and fix them. So, I slow down, and go to jump out, but little did I know that this was a clothes-eating swing.

I go to jump, and all of a sudden, there's a momentary tugging sensation, and then a horrendous RIPPPPPP sound, and the buttons holding my white shirt together fly off all over the place. There was a momentary draft as I was like, "AAAH OMG!" and covered myself...it was...hilarious. So theatric. LOL!

My evening has been hell, starting not too soon after we got out of the hockey game. I should have known it was going to be sour when my dad got mad at me for going, "I want to eat at Pizza Hut". I felt like I was in high school again.

Anyway, we finally get to a Pizza Hut, and my brother was starting to get on my nerves. The Pizza Hut was really loud, because, as Floyd put it, "Oh yeah...Sunday nights...Youth groups." And sure enough, there was a very large, very loud, very OBNOXIOUS youth group sitting in the tables next to us. The Oscars were on too, on the TV right above our table, so of course they were watching it, and everything they squealed or yelled came right at our table. Looking back on it now, I should have complained to the manager.

Anyway, the waitress didn't come to our table for a long time, and when she did, and I ordered Dr. Pepper with no ice, my brother gripes at me.

Twitch.

Then, the waitress goes away, and while we're waiting for our food, the award for Best Original Score went to Brokeback Mountain. No big deal, really. But the loudest, and most obnoxious of the girls at the table got this disgusted look on her face...it was just so detestable that I wanted to HIT her or something. Anyway, she starts to rant, loudly, and yells about it to a friend that was passing in front of our table.

Twitch twitch.

I suddenly felt myself compelled to say something. Maybe I wouldn't have, had they not been screaming and already annoying the shit out of me. I'd lost my appetite thanks to them already. So I tilt my head and I call out to her,

"What's so bad about them winning original score?"

"Well, my friends and I don't like that movie."

"Why not?"

"Because it's about gay people."

"What's wrong with gay people?"

"We don't like them much."

"So...you're being discriminating!"

"...........I guess...."

And my dad and brother just jump my ass, and my brother and I get into a fight, and he kept giving me this impertinant looks, and called me an idiot, and then the girls screamed SO loud when Narnia was mentioned that I just stood up, asked for the keys, and went to the car. I just couldn't handle it any longer.

Then I was called intolerant and closed-minded. And my brother said that all gay people were going to Hell.

As you guys all know, I'm in school, and have been for three years. But I have some issues with school.

1. I really can't afford school, even with all the financial aid. Every semester, I have to fight Financial Aid for money, and end up racking up more and more debt. It's stressful, and I hate it.

2. I have no idea what to do with my major, and I can never EVER get into the classes I need because I'm so behind in my hours.

3. It's hard for me to buckle down on schoolwork while I'm so worried about making enough money to even live. Right now, I'm struggling to make ends meet. It's tough, and stressful.

The reason I'm bringing this up is...

Jarod and I have been tossing around the idea of my moving out there, and us working together to support each other and help each other get on our feet. Uprooting myself out of Oklahoma, my home, and away from my family and friends is a big deal, and a huge step, and I want to make sure I do the right thing.

I love Jarod very much. I would love to be there with him right now. I want he and I to be able to be together, and lean on each other for support, and I want him to be happy. I want to make a decision that's right and healthy for both of us, not just myself. Moving out there means leaving behind everything I've known, and getting to know a new place. People have done it before, but I want to clear up any concerns I have before making a concrete decision. My concerns are that I'd have to drop out of school, for at least a year, to move out there, and work and earn some money. After about a year, I could get in-state tuition to any California college, so it's not like I'd be abandoning my education. Just, taking a break for a while.

Another concern is my family. Granted, there's no law saying that I can't visit them as often as possible, but I don't want them to try and stop me if I decide to do this. I want them to be happy for me, and understand that I feel I must do this. I want to see if he and I have a future together, and I'll never know unless I try. It's worth the risk.

Come to think of it, I realize that I should go for what I want, and everything else will fall into place, if I put forth the effort. As soon as I hit the "Send" button, I realized what it was and tried to cancel it, but to no avail. So I called Arvest, my bank, and changed my PIN number. I knew that wouldn't be enough, but it was all I could do at the time.

Anyway, today in the middle of Japanese class, I got a phone call from Arvest. They left a voice mail, so I checked afterwards, and I was afraid that OMG my money was all gone and I'd done something wrong.

"Hello, Miss Day. We had a transaction try to go through today from Romania for $500. We cancelled it and called you immediately."

"WHAT?!"

They'd also tried to take out 3,232 dollars too.

But they cancelled my card and secured my account; I just have to make a trip to Arvest soon and fill out a Dispute form to get my card and any lost cash back.

Ugh...right before Christmas, when I'm having money problems.

At least they caught it.

Anyway...

The day itself wasn't terrible. Work wasn't bad, except that when cutting tomatoes, the tomato juice stung a tiny paper cut on my finger. I had a yummeh lunch break; the best Caesar salad evar.

Financially, I'm freaking out again. I'm actually not in the hole at all, but...I have to pay a hot check for $45.10, I have to pay my phone bill for 93 dollars, and with rent coming up on the first and only one more paycheck to go...ouchies. Plus, I want to pay Misu for that Reno wig so she can start on it.

And my check will only be around...oh...200 dollars. and rent is 265 dollars. God, what a fucking lurch we're in. I don't make enough to live anymore.

Well, the way it's looking, I won't be enrolling next semester, so maybe I can move back home. I don't WANT to, because I'll leave Cody in an unfair lurch, and he doesn't need his other roommate doing that. Plus...it's home. While Connie won't be there, it's still home and not me being out on my own.

I remember the first time these two characters were introduced to me, I had no idea who they were. I only had names to go with the pictures, and what they were from. As you can probably guess from my recent post, it is from Final Fantasy: Advent Children.

Then, after just knowing who they were and nothing more, Jarod and I were talking on the phone, and he goes, "Hey! I'm cosplaying Rude."

"Who?"

"From Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children."

"...OHHHH...yeah, I know who that is! ^_^"

"...I had this great idea for a skit...if you want to be Reno, that is."

...

Then he had to send me Advent Children. And when I finally got around to watching it...

I hate Mondays.

My ribs hurt, I got yelled at, I have to work, and I'm broke. At least I get paid Friday. But it all goes to bills.

I made people mad this morning too. Yay. -_-; I should stop opening my trap. People would be happier.

Yeah. I don't feel very good. But we don't have any Tylenol anymore. Lots of pressure on my ribs when I move...it hurts. x_x

So, the weekend wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, in the long run. THe attendence was surprisingly low, but we blame that on poor advertizing.

On Saturday, Cody, Angel, and I went as Professor Go, Daisaku, and Youshi from Giant Robo. My paint looked *fantastic*. So did my normal makeup; I managed to look really good, and I was so happy about that! I did it all by myself too! ^_^ Everyone else did cosplay from Hellsing instead. THey didn't stay for very long, though. I ran into some old friends at the con who almost didn't recognize me, LOL!

I won second place in the cosplay contest that night. Woot. Then I went home, and Cody and I went and ate Taco Bell, came home, and...I don't remember what I did that night. o_o Cleaned the bathroom.

The next day, I went as Sailor Neptune. God, those shoes suck so much. But I had my mirror, thanks to Beth, and Kathryn and I got second place on Sunday, though they judged it as though Kathryn had entered alone. After the con, Anya, Angel, Kathryn, and I all went to eat at Fazoli's, then I came home, and soaked my blistered feet in a tub. Ah, it was nice.

And oh yeah...

I need to go into PayPal and delete those old addresses. Because of that, a poster of mine got sent to my dad's address, and he can't find the package. I'll bet my stepmother sent it back. Vindictive bitch. But at least they're finally getting a divorce.

Last night, I did a goggle test for the Reno cosplay I'll be doing way in the future. Thankfully, it's a very simple costume except for his wig. Just a black suit (if we're doing Advent Children version). It's the wig, gloves, and goggles that'll be tough. And the nightstick. Ahem. I mean cattle prod from Hell.

Still can't find the mail key.

Well, it looks like my Fruits Basket manga are going to sell. I hope that people start to bid on them more; show me the money!

I'm bored...AIM is far too quiet around here today. Jarod's busy working hard, and no one else seems to be alive over there on my buddy list. o_o And I'm busy searching desperately for pictures of Youshi from RoninCon. I looked so good! ;_; Almost smecksey! My hair and my makeup was perfect...wah.

Okay...

Around 8:30 PM Central Time, right in the middle of the OU vs. KSU football game, there was an explosion somewhere on the south part of the campus of the University of Oklahoma. Now, my friends and I live down the street about a mile from campus, and we didn't feel anything, but it was enough to put the stadium in lockdown. It's not in lockdown anymore, but still...

The bomb was found detonated outside the Microbiology building across the street from the stadium, and there's one person dead. He was a suicide bomber. He tried to get into the stadium, but they wouldn't let him, so he detonated it.

And I live right down the street from it. I heard a loud crack that I thought was a firecracker, but nooo...

The President of Cuba, Fidel Castro, held a demonstration today with 1,500 Cuban doctors, stating publically that he had these doctors and supplies ready to send to the United States to aid in the recovery.

Now, I know I'm not the only one who sees how monumental this is. This is Cuba we're talking about...the country we almost got into a nuclear war with Russia over, where the Bay of Pigs fiasco happened, one of the most hated enemies of the United States.

And he's offering to help us without our asking.

So far, the United States has refused that help.

Now, I know I'm not the only one who

1) Isn't surprised.

and

2) Can't believe how incredibly stupid, idiotic, and closedminded this is.

HELLO, US GOVERNMENT! So what if they're communist?! Last I checked, the Cold War was over, and we weren't pursuing a mandate of stamping out all communist and socialist regimes in the world anymore! Can't you see how this could be the first step towards patching up the tension between our two nations?

Not to mention that we need all the doctors, supplies, and medical attention we can get.

We left about an hour and a half late from Owasso on Saturday, and we wore our Scout civvie clothes up there. Meaning...I had green hair all day. LOL!

Anyway, it rained on us all the way there. And Missouri names all their towns after saints or other countries.

There was a Japan, Missouri. o_o

Anyway, the shoot was supposed to start at 4 PM. We got to the park at 5:30...and no one...was there. Six hours, and no one was there...

So we find a computer and Serena tries to get a hold of the girls and gives them her number, and we decide to drive around a little more. We don't hear anything, and there's a big storm rolling in, so we decide to eat, and then we're going to go back home.

But suddenly, Serena's phone rings, and it's one of the girls. We get directions, and we drive an extra hour north to meet them. At one point, I had to lean out of the window and ask a police officer if the road we were at was Highway 100...complete with green hair. And he just loooooks at me, grins, and nods.

Anyway, we get there and we take like...one picture. By that time, it's dark and it had finally stopped raining. Figures.

But at least the girls were realllly nice. ^_^ We went to McDonalds' and got some food and chatted, and we left St. Louis aorund 9:30 PM. It rained on us the whole way home. @_@

About 30 minutes before we got to Springfield, Missouri, Jenny asked me to drive.

Oh. Em. Ef. Gee.

But I did it. I drove for two hours! ^_^ In the darkness and the rain! Gah....

Started out kinda strange; Roger was walking around his mansion, but it was almost like it was me in my Roger costume, but I was really him. Anyway, walking around, like he was looking for something, and he kept having these weird flashes of memories. They were of Daisaku yelling into his watch, cotacting Giant Robo to fight. They seemed to be quite confusing, which is understandable, and then, he turned a corner, and walked into a room, and Norman was cleaning something, and some other servant was there, but I'd never seen him before in any of the Big O episodes, so it was probably something my mind made up.

Anyway, Roger greeted him, and the guy stopped, and he growled, "Roger...it's your fault..."

Roger was a little confused at this, and asked, "What do you mean? What's going on?"

And the guy stared advancing on him. "It's your fault...it's your fault...Die!" and he ran at Roger with some sort of weapon. Can't remember what it was, but it seems like it was a knife, because there were no gunshots.

Anyway, Roger started running, and yelling at Norman. I'm assuming because that was so sudden that Roger didn't have any cool plans to save himself, and, well, being chased by a knife wielding maniac is a little detrimental to the mind at the moment. Norman stepped out from the hallway with his cleaning rag, and was about to ask what was up, but he then saw, and...well, he seemed to do something, but I didn't know what. All I know is that suddenly, Roger is on the ground in an unfamiliar part of the mansion, unconscious, but I don't remember if he was bleeding. The police had arrested the attacker, and Dorothy had sat on her knees and rested Roger's head on them.

She was playing the violin over him, maybe trying to wake him up (ha; not a piano this time), and she was playing a pretty, slow piece, and after a moment, Roger started to come out of it, and he looks up dazedly and sees the neck and body of a violin, then he hears the music, and notices that it's Dorothy. He can't really move at first, almost like he was paralyzed, then he started to move and made a slight groan, and Dorothy abruptly stopped playing, and before he could be totally aware, she moved his head back to the floor and took off running with the violin. Maybe she was embarassed...?

Anyway, Roger wakes up, quite confused, and he wanders around a little more, and keeps having those flashes of Daisaku, then he goes and asks Norman who it was that was playing the violin. And Norman tells him that it was Dorothy, and for some reason. Roger was completely shocked, and he took off to find her.

So he was running through the mansion, and finally finds Dorothy, and she's dusting something, and he starts to approach her, and she turns, looks at him, and starts running away down this random dark corridor. Concerned and confused and a little annoyed, Roger called after her and made chase after her.

At this point, I started to come out of the dream, but I fought it fiercely; it was weird. I commanded myself to go back into the dream because I wanted to know what happened next, and all of a suddenly, I was back in the dream, running after her.

Unfortunately, I don't remember what happens next clearly. I only remember something about him calling The Big O and fighting some horrible guy that has Dorothy, and something about his lost memories of his childhood that kept trying to return but he suppressed him.

My mind is so weird, coming up with the utterly bizzare idea that Roger was Daisaku, LOL! I think it was the watch thing...Only Roger and Daisaku wear their watches on different wrists. I think.

Anyway, that was my dream. ^_^ Weird, no?

The weekend has had its good points, and its had its bad points. On the good side, we've gotten about four costumes done in four days, which is impressive. I've watched a lot of Sailor Moon, and I haven't had to work.

On the down side...I'm not getting paid, Carol Anne has gone home until Friday and hasn't called me except on business, I lost the Lupin look-alike contest, and I've been rather lonesome at night. I guess I really am just content inside to have her around...knowing she was sitting at her computer behind me never made me feel lonely.

I hope at least she's enjoying her time home. She almost never enjoys the time she spends here in Norman with us. She's always stressed or upset or working...she's never happy. I wish I could make her happy.

Suppose I'm a bit of a failure. I don't even know how she honestly feels sometimes; sometimes, I feel as if she'd be happier if she weren't here with me...she doesn't leave here for home because she doesn't want to do that to me, but that doesn't make me feel better to think that she might be staying here in misery because she's obligated. I don't know if she's really attracted to me or not; I want her to show a little interest in me, but I don't often get any. I know that her world doesn't revolve around me, and it shouldn't, but I wish I had a little bit of her attention every now and then.

I've gone and made myself cry now. I hate crying; I'm sick of being upset all the time, but I think the main reason I'm crying right now is mostly stemmed from loneliness.
