Hello everyone! Just thought i'd give you a little update on what's been going on with my life.
Last Friday, me and my family went to see Muse live, at the o2 arena in London. I have to say it was bloody awesome! xD The atmosphere there was really great and the displays around the stage were really pretty, and of course the band performed amazingly too. Best live band in the world! <3
College has been going pretty good, i've just got one last bit of an assignment to do for friday and then i'll be able to work on my dA to-do list alot faster, my next assignments don't need to be handed in til around easter time next year
Now, the main thing you can blame for my dA absence is this:



My dad got it two weeks ago, and i've been hooked on it ever since! xD This is definitely one of the best games out of the Ratchet and Clank series, it has an awesome storyline and lots of humor, and absolutely gorgeous graphics <3 It's made me love the series even more! (i didn't even know that was possible XD) So, i'd definitely recommend this game if you have a PS3 <3 And of course i'll be drawing some fanart! XD

Lastly, i hate to sound desperate but i really really need money at the moment, i can barely afford to travel to College and can't buy any food while i'm there, so i'm sorry to ask, but could anyone feature my Christmas commissions in a journal of theirs? Whats going on

College just knows how to throw a pile of work at you! I never knew there'd be this much, ahhhh xD; Just a quick update of what's been going on!

So, i've spent the past couple of days working on a stop animation for 2D Animation, and i didn't realise just how hard it is to do! Our class had to choose a movie trailer and remake it, by either taking photos of yourself or toys or drawing it all out by hand. Me and decided we wanted to draw ours all out, and chose to remake Disney's Bolt. It's taken me forever to do even the simplest animations of him but i'm pretty much finished now, i'm just panicking a bit because it's all in for Tuesday and we need to add music and sound clips. Blahhh. But anyway, i might upload it here once it's all done if it isn't rubbish, it better turn out good after all the effort i've put into it! xD

Next up, i'm finally getting to work on commissions between doing all my coursework, huzzah! And my sketches are actually turning out pretty well for a change. I've been in such a mega Sonic mood, i spent £10 on a Knuckles plushie the other day, i just couldn't resist buying him when i saw him xD So i'll most likely upload pictures of me and him if i feel brave enough. Yes i'm sad. Leave me alone xD

I also really need to get as many commissions done as quick as i can now because i'm extremely low on money, which means i won't be able to afford to travel to and from College in a few weeks Smelly.

So that's basically it for updates. I might start taking animation commissions soon (will be sketches only at first probably). Oh and, sorry to anyone who's speaking/spoken to me on MSN lately and i haven't replied. It's been screwing up alot recently so messages don't always show up.

Whats going on

Waaaah the day needed to be longer! xD I had such a great time while i was there, it was just nice to not feel like a twat while i was having conversations with people about Sonic, at school i was like, the only Sonic fan xD Anyways, here's what happened throughout the day!

First off, me and my brother traveled into London together (my sister had already left to meet up with and other deviants who didn't know their way to the venue), and we went to King's Cross station to find ! XD *spazzes* I was so nervous lol, we've known eachother for 4 years now and she was my first friend on the internet, so it was great to finally meet her in person Her and her family needed travel tickets so we had to queue for a bit, then we guessed our way to the venue lol.
Once we got there we got handed some awesome Sonic artwork books and a rather snazzy SEGA stamp on our hands. Not too long after, Lee Brotherton aka Bentley Jones performed some songs on the stage, he was really awesome <3 After that, our group sat down around a table and just drew for hours, which i really really enjoyed <3
Later on they showed some previews of some Sonic Shorts, they were so epic! XD Then towards the end of the day there was a cosplay and art contest, which won, so congrats to him! <3 Then sadly had to leave to get her train home I really didn't want her to go XD
Eventually the day came to an end, it went way too fast I'm really looking forward to next year's event though, the atmosphere there is just so awesome and the events were really fun, plus i met quite a few awesome people while i was there
I've probably missed out a load of stuff but it's hard to explain everything that happened XD It was the best day i've had so far this year <3

Whats going on

I've just deleted that bio i did for my character Pendulum the Echidna, because it was very um...poop XD And there was an argument between some deviants because one person didn't think Pendulum is a very good character and it made me think. Is it a stupid idea for him to be able to control time? I'm worried that he might just seem like one of those OMG UN-DEFEATABLE characters, because of the fact he can reverse time. Should i just make him capable of freezing time for a few seconds? And work on some weaknesses that might be able to prevent him from using his powers? I really want him to have a decent story since he's the only character of mine i'm really fond of. Anybody have any ideas?

I just wanna say a big thanks to everyone who was worried about me, i really appreciate it <3 I'm feeling a little better today ^^ I just wanna make a few shout outs to some people who really helped me <3


- I just wanna say thank you for making me so happy these past few years, you really built up my confidence and always helped me feel better if i was down. I'm really happy that things aren't awkward between us and that we're still messing about like retards XD Alot of the time when couples break up they lose contact, but i know that could never happen to us because we've got so much in common and i love you to bits I know we'll always be best friends xXx

Whats going on

Does anyone ever feel like they've become distant from their old friends? Not just offline but online aswell, i just find it really sad :/ It's like one day you can't ever imagine not being friends with them, and then suddenly you've just grown apart and they seem like a completely different person. Like i had a best friend in Primary school and we'd beg our parents to be able to go to eachother's houses and we'd always be together at school, but now that we've gone our separate ways we've just lost contact. This is just part of the reason i hate growing up and change, it sucks >: I mean yeah i've made new friends both on here and offline, but it still makes me feel poop.


Anyway, onto Pokemon. I've been staring at an old Pokemon book we've had for years and have this sudden urge to draw them like mad XD Which also made me obsessed with Pokemon Diamond again haha. So would you guys actually like to see some Pokemon art? Or would it be better if i made a separate account for it?


AAAAAND lastly, a feature!! I've decided i'm gonna feature different people weekly, this week it's Not only does she have AMAZING art, but shes such a sweet and awesome girl that's always been there for me and conversations with her are hilarious! So go check her out. Now. NOWWWWW!

Whats going on

Hey guys, i'd really appreciate a few tips as to how i could improve my art a bit because at the moment i really hate looking at it XD There's so many people's galleries i've seen with such amazing styles and colouring techniques etc, and i just look back at my art and there's just...nothing special about it xD

So, has anybody got any tips on how i could improve my art? Is there a common error you see in my pictures? And do you have any certain ways of practising different perspectives? That's what i'd like to improve most on probably XD I'd really appreciate any advice you guys have <3

Whats going on

Eyup!! Just wanted to ask if Sonic Chronicles is actually worth getting? I've heard lots of different opinions about it and i was just gonna test it for myself like usual, but i thought i might aswell ask before spending my hard earned money on it XD I'll probably still get it anyway, but blah!

Also, i've removed the friends list from my journal coz a few people have got upset in the past because they're not on it so it just seems to cause trouble, don't take any offence if you were actually on it, it probably needed updating anyway *shrugs*

Eyup! I saw someone's journal the other day that kinda interested me. They said they were gonna do pics based on all the tracks of a Muse album (i think it was ) and i just thought it'd be a really cool idea to do something similar. So i decided im gonna do a pic for each track of the Linkin Park album 'Hybrid Theory' (lol yeah who wouldve guessed i'd do something LP related ) I hope they dont mind me using their idea, it just sounded really cool

Okay my first ever contest, wahey!

Ive been trying to redesign my character Faith the Hedgehog for a while now because ive never really been too happy with it, plus she quit working for G.U.N so i dunno whether to keep the army type outfit :/

So, for this contest, you get to redesign Faith for me! Lucky bums! Here are the rules and stoof:

1. NO recolours of official pictures please!! I wont accept it if it's a recolour because it shows you havent put any real effort into it, and i see it as cheating as it isnt your own work.

INFO ON FAITH

Just thought this might be helpful to know her type of personality and what sort of clothing would suite her character.

Faith the Hedgehog is a kind and caring hedgehog, and her kindness lead her to leave her undercover job with G.U.N, even if it meant putting herself in danger. She is a friends with Sonic and the gang, and developed feelings for Shadow (n00bish i know, but she was my first fancharater so what do you expect XD) She is hyper and bubbly and easy to get along with, and is often quite cheeky at times. She's not very girly girly (e.g. it's very rare that you'll ever see her wearing a skirt or dress. almost always trousers/pants), and she is extremely good at fighting due to her training while working for G.U.N.
