Hello fellow members. This is Demyx speaking, and I have come here today to thank whoever it was that came on and submitted those few deviations. It served as a wake up call for me. I am currently the new 'boss', if you wish to call it, of this club. So their may be a few changes here and their which I plan on informing you all of if said changes are made.

It has also come to my attention that this club needs more publicity. Therefore I am asking -not requiring- that members of this club help out in making it more known by putting our icon in their journals or even signatures. This is merely a suggestion that would be appreciated.

I also plan on coming up with new contests soon, and I'll be sure to inform of them as soon as I sort out all details.

If their is any questions on anything I have said or just about the site in general feel free to note the site or me anytime and I'll make it my priority to answer your questions.

Halloween Contest

This is a Halloween contest! You were all anticipating it. :3
For this contest you draw a kingdom hearts character in a Halloween costume. Now witches, vampires, and fairy princesses are all fine and dandy, but be creative! We're still looking for one more judge.

Dates~
Start: August 29th
End: October 31th
Time: 2 months (XIGBA~ YOU CAN'T COUNT)

Prizes~
First: Picture with up to 4 characters from
Second: Picture from
Third: Lineart from

Requirements~
- at least ONE (1) Kingdom Hearts character has to be in the pic/fic. the more, the merrier! (you may include an OC if you want [maybe an Org. Infinity member? Neo-Organization? Heartless thingy?dragon? dog? apple tree? holy grail?])
- he/she/it MUST BE WEARING SOME SORT OF HALLOWEEN COSTUME. the more details, the better!
- colored pics preferred
- keep the fic a reasonable length(not just 100 words, but not 5 chaps long, okay? 2-4 pages in word should be fine)
- OPTIONAL (for pic) some sort of spooky background (can be drawn, screen captured from the game, a photo taken, whatever you find suiting.)
- OPTIONAL (for fic) you may include a small preview image to be seen at the top of the fic. can be anything Halloween related.
- you may draw a short comic if you like

Okay, quick update: The contest is close to ending, so get your entries in within the next 4 days! 4, not one more! No buts, no ands, no nagging, no brawling, 4 days!

However, on a sad note, the judging will have to wait until one of our judges and prize-givers return, ~kyotokittygirlmeow and ~IenzoElaeus, which will most likely be 3 or 4 days after the contest is closed. You can put in a statement asking to join, or just show off your skills with paint/photoshop/paintshop/ or whatever you use .
Characters are welcome, if you want, or have enough space, you are allowed to put in some characters, either be it from the games, or the moderators and founders. Keep in mind that this is our club ID/icon, so keep it open to anyone, that includes no bashing and no favoritism.

Prizes: Alright, prizes are as follow:

ID/Icon Contest

Alright guys, the contest is now officially open! Read below to get familiar with the task.


Due Date: The contest starts 1st of July and ends 31st of July. Late entries will not be counted.

Task: Draw/design/create an ID OR an Icon for the club. There are no limitations, except that it should be appropriate. Keep it clean, ladies and gents.
The work should include: The club's name, the Kingdom Hearts Logo somewhere, any size and shape, and, if you want, some information about us, our purpose, and the general idea of our club. You can put in a statement asking to join, or just show off your skills with paint/photoshop/paintshop/ or whatever you use .
Characters are welcome, if you want, or have enough space, you are allowed to put in some characters, either be it from the games, or the moderators and founders. Keep in mind that this is our club ID/icon, so keep it open to anyone, that includes no bashing and no favoritism.

Prizes: Alright, prizes are as follow:
1st place: offers a pic/story.
2nd place: will give you a pic or comic.
3rd place: can draw you a nice pic.

Judging: The judges are:




As judges, you have the responsibility to judge the presented work of fellow members unbiased. You should be able to criticize fairly and only be influenced by the work presented to you. Analyze various parts of the work, such as color, tone, use of line, context, media(materials/ways you used, i.e. hand drawn with crayons, digital, oil canvas(you can do that), etc.), shape, space, texture, and other elements of design. Also, the requirements of the task should be met.


Entry: Just send the link to your entry to us in a note, like a normal submission, but please add 'Contest' somewhere in the title, so
we know for what it is. You must get your entry in within the time frame. If you don't, we think you just didn't compete at all. Please, if you really want to compete but there is a very good reason you will not be able to send your work in on time, please note the club before the date, or ~rox4eva if you can't wait too long.

So, as you know from the last journal, we have a new contest about to start. Though, we probably still need to organize a bit.

Alrighty. ~WolfieKid had this great idea, which the club eventually will turn into a contest. Now, the Advertise The Club Project is still going of course, this will be just another branch of it.

The task will be to draw an ID for the club. We could push that thought a little further, because the club could also use a nice sparkling avatar.

The initial thought is to promote the club through our galleries, but also, and majorly, giving it an identity.

However, sadly, we still need judges and rewards. If anyone would like to volunteer, please comment right here, or note. I'd say we need at least three judges, which cannot be bias or influenced by anything.

If no one can do the judging, there are two options: either I will randomly pick three separate judges, or the contest will be withdrawn, which is a shame.

No one seemed to have bothered with the last note given, a reminder about the contest. I see how it is then.

Now, as most of you should know, the club barely has members. To be exact, 28, including founders and moderators. THAT IS JUST NOT ENOUGH TO HOLD THIS CLUB REASONABLY TOGETHER.

Terribly sorry, but truth is, no one contributes anything to the club, even the contests held for your entertainment and challenge are being ignored.

Advertise The Club Project

In order to make this work, I plead to all committable members, moderators and founders even to have some art, story or poem and the like and let it be posted here.
Promote the club, put it in your signature and journal.
Go around asking friends and KH lovers to join.

That is our first priority. Second, some of you are anticipating another contest. Sorry, no contests 'till we get some better results.

However, technically, the 'Advertise the Club' project, as explained above, can be a contest in itself. I am willing to offer a reward for the club member that in my opinion promotes the club the best, in a time span of one month.

This can be achieved numerous ways. For one, get more people to join, or submit some art/fiction. Support the general, help getting better ideas for contests and other such stuff.

Of course, donating a subscription to the club is highest in priority.

Please, help the club, there is no point in a club if there's only five of thirty members participating.

Alright, this club is now under new management, courtesy of Xigbar ~s0da-p0p. I'll be your new admin for now, and we'll get this club up and running again!

First off, ALL CONTESTS ARE CLOSED FOR NOW.
The first contest, where you had to advertise the club,
won with 7,
came second with 2,
third with 1.
There were no records of any prizes, so I can't give none.
The second contest, write a scary story, is still not judged, I need Roxas ~rascal101bird to catch up with that since he came up with it.
IF YOU HAVEN'T NOTED THE CLUB THE LINK TO YOUR ENTRY(which I know you haven't) DO IT NOW!! LAST CHANCE! You have 3 days!

I was thinking maybe we should start a contest between the moderators and founders and whatnot. Okay moderators the contest is to tell as many people to join as possible. I will be keeping score in this journal. ^^ The contest will start now and end at this exact time in exactly a month.
