~DarznWolfe had an idea for a comic based around a very small pack of werewolves. Nitty gritty details aside, I liked the story! So I agreed to help him make up characters and such.. and got sucked into it. Headfirst. I've been sketching ever since. D8

But yeah! It's going to be called RiverShore, and I'm going to be doing a lot of the wolves for that comic within the next little while, at least. Until I get it out of my system or run out of sketchbook pages at least.

... I think it will be the latter first. D8

Seriously, it's too early for this, but I already want to get started, they're so awesome.
I think I might actually be decent at this, if I put in a bit of practice. I hope to get parts of these costumes done for Halloween. It would be brilliant.

On a completely separate note! My birthday is on friday! Yaaaay. I'm going to be twenty!... Not yay! I'm going to be officially.. an adult! Duh-dun-DUH.

SO! I've been... I can't even really say busy, not until lately. Just horribly bored with.. everything it would seem. Sketches I've started have come to look all the same to me, and I have no incentive to finish them. It's kind of depressing. It feels like all my artisticness is going down the drain.

BUT~!
Lo and Behold, comes Anime Evolution 2009, AND, on a slightly bitter note, the shutdown of the Fabricland that I work at. So very recently, I have come to bring a LOT of fabric into my house, a lot of it bound for costumedom. How soon, you ask? WELL, I finished a Wizardmon costume in October that I wasn't allowed to put a picture up of, blame for that one. I only have one picture of her, and she's flipping me off.
I still have to fix up the legs a bit, made them a bit too long, and do something with that friggin' hat of hers! And sew pockets in behind the zippers-that-have-no-use. I'll probably put ice packs in them so she doesn't die from the heat. x3

I'm also going to be in costume at the convention, as Wizardmon's bestest buddy. x3 , , , and are all going to be there with me. All but ONE dressed up as a Digimon, because he couldn't find one for me to make! x3 I'll update this if he does and we end up as a six-pack of anime retards. Look for us if you're going. We honestly shouldn't be that hard to find. x3
So, my store is closing out on the 25, then I'm there for the remaining five days to pallet up any extra fabric and send it off. Then I have the whole month of May and the first two weeks of June for these costumes. Of which I will probably working the entire day on. I'm making all my own patterns as well as sewing them. I will have help, but still..

I think I'm gonna explode.
SO! Either you get in-progress pictures of all the costumes, or you get a lovely picture taken of a headless me, or a nice snapshot of a giant bloody explosion mark on the ground. But you will get something!
Hopefully the former, even though the latter sound rather possible and kinda neat. Too bad I wouldn't be alive to see it. x3

I also came across quite a lot of very nice fake fur for a decent price (practically free), and was planning on doing a few costumes with that as well. They include, the Catbus, Totoro, Deacon O'Rourke, Nathan, Kirara, Sesshomaru, Michael the wolf, AND a gift for a good friend, Either Vulcan or Ryn.
Thosewon't come for a while, though I REALLY want to make a Dea costume. I honestly need to learn how to weld for the huge ass stilts I'll nee got that one.
ANYWAY! That's about it. Updates on costumes soon to come, as well as In-Progress pictures at the beginning of May.

Okay, so I'm going to try and get those sketches done between workdays, since I'm fulltime now, and I'm drawing -all- of my God Dragons over again..... which is proving pretty fun! I've sompletelt re-done some of them, so the have more expression.

When i went yesterday she lookeda t me without actually seeing me. It was like she didn't know me anymore. I can't stop crying, no matter how hard i try, but it's only silent tears, out of respect. I don't even have my sketchbook with me for comfort. But it kinda scares me to think of what i'll draw.

*sigh* Well I'm going to visit my Grandmother in a little while. She won't get better, I know that much. She wouldn't even wake up the last time i went.

Apparantly its a very aggressive cancer and she has only had it for six months. It started in her lungs, because she has been smoking since she was 17, but that wasn't serious at all. The blood vessels in her lungs carried the cancer to her liver, and is killing her.

I hate going to see her. I know that sounds really mean, but I don't like hospitals, and seeing my grandmother like that is..... destablizing my control. I can't even think about it without crying.

1. One of my Degus, Chi-Sai, died on Thursday, April 13. Tsue-Me wouldn't get out of his bed for three days, and instead of running around like he used to, he just cuddles for comfort.
2. Two days later on April 15, my Aunt Genine died. She was fourty two, and she died of a brain anurism. I didn't know her that much, but it was a slap in the face.
3. Two days after that my Grandfather died. He had bowel cancer, and they had to remove half of his intestine. The surgery went fine, but he died from the phnemonia that he got afterwards. The docters didn't do a damn thing to help remove the fluids from his lungs. And when they finally realized it, he was already drowning.

I've had a fucking crappy couple od weeks. The school is trying to get me into suicide counselling, and my grades are as low as they can get. *sigh*
