Well.. I am writing to announce that there is now an official fully functional fan community message board for my Galaxy Productions Site! You can chit chat with other fans and friends, roleplay adventures based off of "Chaos in the Outer Region" and "Oh Captain!", pimp your own independant press comics and artwork projects, and just hang out with other anime/manga and fantasy fans!

I was unpacking, cleaning, reorganizing all my old portfolios, and binders, and notebooks and found stuff I didn't even realize I still had, I had it stored away in boxes for so long at my other place. Now that my new place is all big and shiny theres actually room on shelves and stuff for all my stuff.. and it's like doooooodddd... look at all this stuff...

I had no idea I had a Final Fantasy 6 Amano concept art book imported from Japan.. where the monkey did that come from? And a DragonLance art book that is like.. got to be at least 10 years old.. and a D-n-D set that looks about 20 years old.. - and and and.. Mario Bros. Movie cards I forgot about, and Nintendo Powers from like when it first started, and like best of all.. really really old art I did when I had to be like 12 or 13... like super Old School.

Not just Old School. Like... Old School like you'd never believe.

But here.. here is a time to relive the past!


I am one of those artists who gets ideas for characters from looking at real life people I meet. Wether I really like them or not, as in we have the same interests, seems irrelevent to my mind... If I meet somebody who is a fascinating personality, I tend to hang out with them alot so I can understand how they work and use them to better mold my own story characters.

I tend to hang around two types of people. People who in themselves have made themselves a unique character... or people who remind me of a character I was already designing, or have designed from my imagination, so I can use them to further the depth of my characters personality. The characters that pop into my head that I design myself, they come and the visit me and they tell me what I need to do next as a storyteller and then just like that they leave me and I can never seem to make them appear in my head. They just come when they feel like it. Oh, You frustrating muses of mine!

That's where people I meet in the world outside my head can be ever so useful!

Over the years I came to realize this slowly. Why do I draw people more then anything else? Why do I slack on the backgrounds and focus on the facial expressions and the characters reactions to each other? I was thinking about it yesterday.. Overfilling my head with nostalgic thoughts, and looking through old yearbooks and scrap books and thinking.. I loved all of these people so much.. and they probably don't even remember me.. Why are these people so fascinating to me?

I think it's because they are my inspiration.

and being an artist is the most important thing to me.

It's what has always made me feel special.

I love individuals. I love walking into a room and seeing that one person.. who stands out in some way.. weather it be there funky haircut, there jewelery, some sort of eccentric or different look then everyone else in style, or the aura of there personality.. perhaps the gleam in there eye that makes them stand out in some way.. and I've met alot of people now in my life time moving so many times, then finally settling in a giant tourism melting pot, where I see diverse and interesting people every day. Friendship and Diversity has made my life worth living.

So to sum up this sappy overly nostalgic story, This set of "Old School" updates will be dedicated to past friends.

And I'd also love to hear what inspires you my dev. friends!

But here is a mark I've left of my past to share with you!

First off, I'd like to thank everyone that has watched me here!

My Old School Stuff makes me giggle and I'm glad you want to share my happy memories with me! Thank you very much! One of my happiest memories from my past has returned to me freshly and I'd like to share that with you...

I've always been a huge fan of "The Phantom of the Opera" by Gaston Leroux... and the fabulous Old School adaption to film that Lon Chaney so excellently executed, and I also think Andrew Lloyd Webber is a pretty cool guy for adapting that into a musical that so many have enjoyed... - including myself.. he he.. but now ... now a new chapter in Phantom history is happening.. This year... 2004... The Phantom returns to theatre AGAIN.. but for the first time the musical that was Andrew's adaption, and the original book are combined together... and are gonna make one AWESOME MOVIE!! - fwee! -

So in celebration I've added all of my old concept sketches from my

That's me these modern days... but here on this account you will only find my "old school" drawings back from my high school days when I went to animation school at Dr. Phillips and Edgewater High School, during the years 1995-1999. During this time I first created a comic called "Chaos in the Outer Region" which I now sell indepently at different anime/comic conventions around the Country.

I mainly started this as a way to store all my old stuff, and more importantly to prove that as long as you practice, practice, practice, use your imagination, and put your heart into something you will get better at it! The fame and fortune may come early in life or later on, but you must never give up on your dreams!
