what a weekend it was! >>

Christmas shopping in the week. Which is an epic macguffin quest in itself. Seriously when in a clothes shop STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THE SIZE 16 WOMEN ARMED WITH A PUSHCHAIR. My ankles are going to be wearing plasters for weeks. WEEKS D8

while my niece did a very useful action of taking pictures of her mother while the poor woman made sounds of agony their dad took her to the car (her waters broke on the way) and I was left to look after the 11 and 13 year old. FUN!

Anyway baby Jack was born all healthy and cute ^^ IN LESS THAN AN HOUR ._. though I wasn't aloud to see him because of genes and germs and em stuff like that.

Pretty nice actually since I was expecting it to be smaller, some people are complaining but I've seen worse rooms....a hell of alot worse >>;

Annnyway so far on my hall I've met a German, two polish a south-african and one american. It's so awesome! people from all over go to this uni! <3

Sadly I have to buy my own plates and glasses but no big deal right? Another downer is despite me copying my photoshop onto my laptop it's now asking me for the serial code....which I don't have. If anyone knows how to fix this problem that would be great!

Also I haven't got a scanner or a wacom right now so expect all my remaining crap to be posted on the weekend when I go home.

Something tells me it's going to be a looong week XD

Okay, there are ALOT more problems in the world then my little drama lama problems but JESUS I'M GOING TO KILL SOMEONE.....TO DEATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Uni's round the corner and I should be happy as rain! But sadly my life can't be "sign this get in" no. Everything these days is done over the phone or computer. I hate talking to stangers on the phone!

Not only that since I need a PASSPORT to get into uni because that's the only way I can prove I am I had to send out my birth info....then 4 weeks later it comes back reading "This letter appears to have been sent to the university in ERROR" yes....error was in caps. ¬¬

But if that wasn't enough my dad rung up the uni WITHOUT me knowing, so he doesn't expect me to be pissed when I'm in my room and he calls me down to talk on the phone with this random guy?!

DaD: "One moment I'll hand you over to my daughter. (calls up the stairs) Oi! Get of ya game box and come down here!"

Also I'd like to say this OCT has been EPICLY FUN so far! I've made soooo many awesome chums along the way and it's only the first round! XD

I hate it when people touch ma stuff dammit! It's not messy! It's placed in a location where I will find it! D< And I swear if someone keeps coming into my room and opens the window again! I like living in a musty dark room with the curtains drawn! Opening all the fecking windows is just letting flies in! GAAAAHHHH PERSONAL SPACE! I NEED PERSONAL SPACE!

Anyway my Boyfriend let me pick any game in Gamestation for my gift. ^^ I was tempted to get rock band and make him by all that extra crap that goes with it! >D

But I'm not evil, hence I settled for Fallout 3! God I have so many games I haven't even STARTED playing yet.

But after playing a couple of hours I've found the game hardly has any scary moments and it doesn't involving going outside into the ocean itself. (though the plane falling onto the pipe tunnel almost gave me a panic attack). Sure the Splicers are creepy, super-power pumped drug attic's but still not that scary. Steinman the happy cosmetic surgeon from hell is unsettling. But Some how I found the "HE'S UGLY! UUUUUGGGGLLLLY!" somewhat funny XD In fact the only thing in bioshock I find scary so far are what people say and do in those record tape thingys >> "Doctor stop cutting!" Tape had a shiver go down my spin. Also the environment itself is so disturbing but beautiful. ;_;

I'm not even half way through and I'm already loving this game! I want to live in Rapture!

oh and one more thing.

I LOVE THE BIG DADDIES! Their so cute, in a big doggy kind of way <3

Stephen King writes what he thinks about Twilight, honestly and COMPLETELY true, everything he says.

But dear god, the comments underneath. Are people really this stupid? (I hate teenage romances anyway and just got through the first book....gah!)

But when you have fans actually, God forgive us, SAYING MEYER IS A BETTER WRITER THEN KING. There is something every, every wrong with the world. With NOTHING to back up this claim but "I've never seen King right a love story that was soooo famous." Clearly showing they've probably never even read one of his books.

I mean just some of stuff people are saying! Kings not a writer God but still!

I don't understand how anyone can say that the Twilight series is a romance that promotes values. REALLY? Since when is it a value to literally kill yourself for the love of a boy? Who are these people who think it's a value to give up your own life, your family, your goals, and your intellectual pursuits just because you got married before you had sex? The Twilight series has to be one of the most misogynistic things i've ever read. Not to mention Edward is a creepy ass starker who shows all the traits of an abuseive boyfriend.

Yes I just ranted about Twilight, and it felt good! I'm sick of trying to see both sides to this thing when the other is SO STUPID! (Twitch)

It's like people think we're stupid-yes tragic stuff does happen because this person didn't stop this or do that but I don't think when someone's at a bar they'll suddenly think." Wait! I can't have anymore because the lady on TV said I should only drink this many unit's." It's like we've come to a choice between enjoying life or keeping healthy and safe with no inbetween mark.

The worst of these Granny adds has to be the stroke puplic infomation one.[link] Yeh because that's not going to scare the crap out of kids and make old people paranoid. I'm so happy the government thinks we NEED to be told to phone 999 if someone is having a flipping attack! No we'll just laugh at them and see if you can flick popcorn in their open mouths as they gasp for breath......

I'm sorry if you think these things need to be shown but I just have faith that maybe people are smart enough to make their own choices. Yes I'm ranting dammit! I just needed to complain in some way.

Well I can't say I wasn't sad about it but funnily enough that disappointed not in my gut didn't last long when I remembered so many other peoples didn't get in either. ;-;

I was actually more gutted that some of my fav characters didn't seem to make the final cut.

I guess I'll be moving on to other things, But I'm kinda thinking about improving my art before entering another OCT. Because Of EFN I actually have become better at using a graphic's tablet, and I think my drawing has improved since I first made Jouel's ref sheet. (yes no maybe?) I donno.

Then again it was probably my lack of ref sheet and comic making skills that stopped me from getting in. And you know.....coughthatfactthatalotofpeoplescharacterswerecoolerthenminecough.
