It's been well over a year since I cleaned out my gallery... and boy did it ever need it! I moved more than half of my deviations into my scraps section(so if people are looking for certain ones, you might want to check there) and deleted a bunch of mediocre pieces from way back when I joined.

This summer has been extremely busy, I haven't gotten to work on as many projects as I would have liked... however now that it's September and the cold weather is moving in, in limits some of the other activities that have been occupying my time and I should shortly get more time with my camera... that I'm missing dearly.

I hope that in the coming months I'll be able to invest in a couple more lenses.. as it is, I'm still shooting with the kit lens and am starting to feel very limited. I have an idea of the ones I want... but if any of you guys have good lens recommendations, I'm all ears... just remember I have a canon.

I've been a bit lax on the photo taking lately, the gray winter choked my inner muse. However, I went shutter crazy on the trip and it felt so good that now I need to keep it up... even though I have a billion other things to do.

At the beginning of April my piece: Eye see you was featured by rosiescape in her journal, which was such a flattering thing. Thank you!

Also, while I was away on the trip I made it into the How to make a fruit salad news article by linedanser with my Fruit Burst 2 photo. Thank you again!

So it's been an exciting month or so and with summer on the way and all the new encouragement it makes me want to get back out into the world with my camera! Hurrah!
