1. Je suis une kamikaze : j'adore les sensations fortes, la vitesse, les voyages surprise sac à dos sans précaution, les sports du genre équitation, escalade, de combat.... etc... et je m'en suis toujours sortie vivante, sans os cassé ! (miracle )
2. Je suis une maniaque du rangement, surtout pour les livres : classement par cycle, par auteur, par taille, par collection, par thème... j'en passe et des meilleures !

Pour commencer quelques nouvelles à présent que le rush de la rentrée est passée !
Je suis contente de mes élèves, de mon emploi du temps, de mes profs et de mon groupe. De ce point de vue là, cette année me semble favorable : moins de stress, moins de ci, moins de ça.... Ca devrait aller !
Ca y est, le rendez-vous est pris, je me ferai tatouée le dos le 25 octobre (pour fêter les vacs dignement ! J'ai l'impression que c'est une sorte d'accomplissement de mon moi, de mon être, et de devenir un véritable tout stable... C'est bizarre mais.... )

Et enfin la plus grosse nouvelle ! J'ai réouvert mon site web ! Après deux ans de fermeture, il est revenu à la vie, comme ça sur un coup de tête.... A croire qu'il me fallait du temps pour tout digérer et pour mettre les choses au clair. Je suis contente tout simplement. Il y a beaucoup de boulot encore à faire (le contenu, le contenu !), mais j'ai choisi d'y faire figurer.... tout ce que j'ai fait depuis 2003, autant pour encourager les jeune talents que pour montrer mes évolutions et de voir les futures à venir !

Bref, voici un bref résumé de ce qui s'est passé dans ma vie :
- je refais une année de stage en tant que prof (ils avaient une excuse bidon au lieu de me dire leur véritable pensée "vous êtes un peu trop jeune, mademoiselle")
- Cette année fut rude (plein de nouveautés partout) et de ce fait, j'ai un peu négligé les messages et je m'en excuse. J'essaie d'y réondre le plus vite possible à présent avec beaucoup de retard XD
- Comme elle fut rude, j'ai eu peu de temps pour dessiner v_v
- L'avantage du métier c'est que je bénéficie de deux mois de vacances et je viens juste de rentrer de mon coin de Bretagne !
- Je pars la semaine prochaine pour l'Afrique du Sud durant quinze jours !

- Je suis en train de m'activer sur la construction d'une galerie en PHP, et c'est loin d'être facile parce que c'est long et que je n'ai pas beaucoup de temps. Et en plus de ça, elle n'est pas très belle !
- Je m'active toujours comme je peux sur mon projet d'Aryl, il faut que je m'y recolle ce week-end, je n'ai pas pu le faire cette semaine (la mise à jour dans le boulot aussi lol)

I’m done with my exams, and I’m now officially in holidays since I got the results. I got my degree (for the Frenchies out there: une Licence avec mention mais je ne sais pas encore laquelle, je n’ai aucune idée des points que le jury peut m’accorder eheh XD). I was also admitted in the Créteil IUFM (that’s to become a teacher) and should do my first year there without any problems ^_^

So, everything’s all right in that area. I’m drawing and coloring under photoshop once again. I’ve seen a few friends, I went out ; it felt real good after all the worry. Now I’m working on other things…

I’ve got a new blog (French only, though). I did the design myself this time (because I’ve wanted something more personal for a while now). It’s called In Between, and you’re welcome to give it a try, if only to see what it looks like hehe.

Well, it’s been a loooooooooong time since I last posted obviously, so let’s get it going.
As you may know, France has been shaken by quite a crisis about a controversial work law which I won’t be discussing here. As a result, my college was turned completely upside down, I had no holidays and I now work non-stop to complete my projects on time (12 weeks of class crammed into a single month…). So I had little time to draw even the smallest sketch, not to mention answer your comments – and I’m really, really sorry about that T_T

I’m trying to « get back in business », but I have few breaks from work, even on week-ends.

That being said, I have several drawings in progress, I’m just waiting for some leisure time to finish them

So, here are some news at last, but I've been pretty busy lately... (not in a good way, unfortunately )

I'm not in the mood for drawing & coloring right now, which is a bother since I can't move forward with my artworks, so I concentrate on college homework instead... At least it's getting things done there, all I'll be able to breathe a little more easily later (when I'll feel like drawing again for instance XD).
I'm thinking about my main character's design a lot, but it's been pretty fruitless until now XD

Anyway, apart from that, the wallflash I was talking about last time seems to be finished, but it's not online yet...

2006 is off to a quick start, so here are some news... I decided to stop being lazy! And to stop neglecting things, whatever they may be!

I'll try to answer as many comments as possible from now on, at least once a week

It also means going back to exercising, obtaining a few certificates (such as a swimming certificate, or taking first aid class), studying ; I'm also trying to get my driving license. And I'm just trying to give my best shot in several projects...

I have to do a four pages paper on artificial intelligence for one of my computer science classes, so if anyone's got some info on that, I'll take it!

Also, a few of my projects will be completed soon. First is a wallflash done in collaboration with my friend Ariomatov. He's polishing it up in-between a couple of exams, so I'll just tell you when it's done and available online. I've tried out a beta version already, and Firefox users will have to beware their Internet Explorer! (that'll be explained in time, don't worry! lol).
Second was designing/creating a website for a friend. The English section is not ready yet, but it should be coming soon now

As a side note about inspiration of the moment, I'll be trying to draw something about a French legend soon, and I have lots of ideas for my main series. Even if it won't be easy to draw, I'll try ^_^

Anyway, I've watched FFVII AC and I've been sorely disappointed T_T
In fact I really disliked the "let's do it two years later, Cloud will have the same mental issues as before and fight the same enemy, and all will be done lightning fast" thing... I'd rather it had stayed a technical demo... (and some spoilery things happen without any explanation too XD)
So, a disappointment (but Tifa is great >D)
On the other hand... a short while after that, I was a little deluded and watched Last Order and o___O I was amazed, so short but so intense, a true success! No question, I favor this graphical style for Cloud over the more realistic one... (and he's so cute when he saves Tifa ;__; ). I also believe you get a better understanding of everything he got through and it's a definitive version of what happened in Nibelheim (and Zack, Zack... and no Aerith >D this movie is heavenly *__*)
So that's it... ^_^

Until then, I hope I won't have to suffer from this stupid educational reform too much (hear this: more class everywhere and less money... so... we don't have a copy machine anymore, not to mention paper... T_T that's the ministry of education for you XD)

They bought… a CD to work on the computer, they’re gonna buy me a book on the code, we talk about it every evening… if I fail despite all this in a month… I really don’t know how I’ll make it then…
Anyway, for my first class, I got a magnificent 20 out of 40 mark but I had not studied anything so it’s not that bad a place to start I think (I’ll have to read the book, but for now I’ve still got to buy it first…).
Worst thing is my brother was supposed to start along with me, but he has not registered yet… what a bum… (maybe I’ll get my driving license before him and then I’ll be pretty happy ^__^)

Anyway, for the moment, I’m reading Tamir’s Triad by Lynn Flewelling…
Quite some time ago I had gotten the first half of the first book, and now I’ve finally taken myself by the hand and got the other half (at France Loisirs I get to pick one book each semester, it’s mandatory, in fact I think I’ll resign by the end of the year, I’ll be done with my two mandatory years T_T), and I have to say, I don’t want to wait for the first half of the second book and all, it’s screwing consummers big time in France this cutting to pieces of the books, so I ordered the US edition of Hidden Warrior on Amazon (in fact, I favor the UK cover over the US one, but with monetary change it’s 6 € for the US one, and 10 € for the UK one, all that for the very same thing so…).

Anyway all this means I’m quite contented, since in the french translation I had stumbled upon words I didn’t know I was a bit afraid about reading the original english text, but apparently there’s no problem… I think the translator may have picked unusual words to underline the atmosphere, that kind of things (then again I am no English pro, I can’t really tell the difference between old and modern-day English for instance… - I remember in Ocarina of Time, the Deku Tree, I wrongly believed he lisped… -___-).
So, no big ordeal to read in English, and then I have the whole Crystal Singer trilogy waiting for me, so I’m happy to have so much reading to do (and then I’ll start on the English books of The Wheel of Time…).

So anyway… the french cutting to pieces of books is incredibly costly…
Can you believe the first book of the Liveship Traders is cut into three separate books for the french translation ? It’s three times as expensive -____- So because of that I’m starting to read in English, even The Wheel of Time…
An english book is about 10 € since it’s imported, and seeing the thickness of it that’s okay… But in French, the book is pretty much always cut in half, and each half is a 10 € paperback T_T So I gotta read in English… (but there’s a certain level to have for some books -___-).
Anyway, fantasy books in French are a big rip off… I agree a certain margin is required, but to treble the price by cutting a single book into three volumes… Moreover, the English books are not That big anyway… T_T

That’s what happened to me recently with The Wheel of Time... I had been quiet for a few months though, and we were on a roleplaying break... And Stef and I started discussing it, talking about it, and I started drawing fanarts about it (I had done ONE before that, and now I’ve finished two more in a single week...).
And we weave theories, and the Knife of Dreams prologue has been released, and I’m re-reading New Spring...

Well, burning interests are exhausting in their own way...

So, what do you think about Bela (Rand’s horse XD), personlly, I sometimes thinks she travels even more than the heroes... always changing riders too, pretty cool for an old mare
I’ve seen theories about her being the Dark One in disguise...
Anyway, for now my theories are focused on Galad/Egwene/Gawyn, and I’m hoping for a duel between the two brothers ^_^

I’m now finished with my exams! At last!
At last, I’ll soon get my DEUG! >D Then I’ll be studying for a Licence, enduring all the problems that the reforms entail… It’ll be quite a mess I guess but for now I’m all about freedom and spare time!

I’ll be able to answer messages now (sorry I’m late, but I was passing my exams :b)

Anyway, I’m reading Lion of Macedon by David Gemmell… And… And… that’s another hero I have to draw. I love Parmenion! Parmenion >D
So I’ll be starting on this piece of fanart soon, it’ll be my first time drawing a spartan but I have to say I really like their clothes, simple and classy, and so many folds everywhere!
I hope I can make it, I have a lot of late drawings to do but I did not have the time until now :/
Moreover I have lots of ideas to draw still but… well there are so many things to do! XD
To finish with Lion of Macedon, I really advise all of you to give it a try, it’s a great book (*going back to devouring it* XD)

Anyway, right now is my last week of class, then I’ll tackle my exams and that’s no fun… By the way, the administration is getting at it again, it’s quite funny. For instance, installing 200 students in a lecture hall made for 120 people max, I have no idea how latecomers will do, and how cheating will be handled with students so closely stuck together…
Yeah, so funny… I’d better be there early to choose my seat…

So anyhow, I do not even have any time to play Baten Kaitos anymore, I have to say that up to this point the main quest has been boringly classical, and even a bit offputting… (yeah, to beat each dungeon on each island that’s soooo surprising, it’s also quite maddening because you have to follow Xehla around no matter what and I hate her, she really gets on my nerves *imagine fingernails on a blackboard XD*)

While I spend my evenings endlessly reading my Dragonflight, it seems like I have a few drawings piling up, waiting to be cleaned (urgh, as usual, my hands are suffering and will continue to be T_T). Plus, I dunno, missing my excursion to the Serres d’Auteuil because of traffic jams depressed me a bit ;_; (especially when I have a paper to do about it and so I’ll have to go there by myself and all that XD)

Anyway, it’s spring and I suffer from sleeplessness (as usual this time of the year) and above all, I don’t want to turn 20 next month, nono ;___;
The 14th of April is coming too fast ;_;

Apart from that, this week-end I’m going to visit my grand-parents in Belfort (eastern France) and I hope to take the occasion to get back up to date (I really should )

So, I can’t finish my Zelda fanart (yep, that’s the next picture in line < 3)

That said, I’ve had some time today and so I updated my website !
I’m trying out a few things, including a random SD (chibi) system ^_^ I’ve been doing them for a while now (and I’ll be able to add more as time passes).

On top of that new system, I’ve thrown in two bonus drawings that are not on devianart: two new portraits of Arianrhod Lands characters! ^_^

By the way, the chibis are essentially characters from my series (obviously) but there might be some special exceptions in the future (I’m so addicted to Zelda…)

Yep, I’m addicted to Zelda because I’ve just started playing The Wind Waker at long last… I’m a huge fan of the series, and this one is quite great uhuh ^_^

With a new timetable… So I’m supposed to go to two different classes, in two different rooms, all at the same time… I really wonder how they handle these things XD (college organization, as insane as ever XD)

So I’ll try and change my classes as well as I can…

Anyway, I’ve updated my website (small info of the day XD) to add a new illustration and two character portraits. These are not on DeviantArt (I’ve done them quickly, plus they’re kind of “bonus” material ^_^)

Not much new apart from that…
I don’t like being in a “zero inspiration” period, I feel powerless in front of my blank sheet of paper, rubbing holes in it ;__;
And oh ! I’ve started to read the Da Vinci Code, there are some really surprising pieces of knowledge in there… I didn’t know there were 666 glass panels on the Louvre pyramid (though I see it quite often XD).
Anyway, I really like books dealing with the Knight Templars or the Grail generally uhuh, so it’s not bad, although… well, sometimes I’m pretty mad at the author’s style, he’s always reproducing the same pattern: “event-flashback-we’re going to know the truth… but no, cause there’s an interruption!” XD
So that’s the big flaw, but the story is quite interesting and it reminds me of Broken Sword, with George and Nico XD

I’m also re-reading the Dragonriders of Pern, but in english now! Uhuh, to-read list: Dolphins of Pern, Moreta, Dragonflight and Dragonquest! *loves F’lar*

Well, I’m a bit tired these days, I hope I will sail past that shortly, I don’t like not being able to draw anymore ;__;
And I’m missing chocolates ;__;

I am really happy, it’s been a nice semester and I should get some good marks (at least if I didn’t mess up my exams, but I don’t think so, I wrote quite a lot of things, which at least proves I understood the topic >D).
I can now draw, play FFX and X-2, go to Rivoli to buy my precious Dragonflight in the desired edition >D Aaah, dear freedom of my spare time ^___^

Anyway, as you sure understood, I’m done with my duties, and now have two worry-free weeks to enjoy ^_^
That being said, I agree it’s important to remember the atrocities committed by the nazis so that no one will do them again, but I’m pretty fed up with hearing about it all day long, I really hate it when medias overdo it X__X It’s disgusting!
I concede that they medias are important to stay up to date with worldwide news, but I really get the impression they’re trying to brainwash us more than anything, and that disgusts me… T_T Also, the latest thing that gets under my nevers, is the dramatic tone in which the reporting voices are talking about every little incident as if it was a nuclear catastrophe. I’m against this business of woe and false sympathy. Soon enough, they’ll become actors instead of reporters T_T

Well anyway, meanwhile I can’t wait to go to this english bookstore in Paris to admire and touch my so much desired copy of Dragonflight, with the cover illustrated by Steve Weston.
(yeah, in fact, my illustrated Delrey edition by Tony Diterlizzi had serveral censored passages, I was so disappointed when I found out ;__; )

I did a lot of work for the Arianrhod Lands >D 89 pages ! Under Words, font size 10, which must translate into about… 225 pages for a paperback book on… what must be a 2000 pages series in the end gaah… lol
But aparently it inspired me for the follow-up (and that’ll add some more pages on top… lol)
So, my new year’s resolution? To finish up volume 1 before next year >D

As to myself, it was really nice @__@ It was great, I had forgotten christmas could hold in many surprises o_O !
I got some books (in english ahah >D fuck the french translator who ditches out some bits and pieces of Dragonriders of Pern >D), a framed picture and chocolates ^_^
Though we were only five people, we sang and all, and… we did not eat any turkey ahah XD
For once the meal was NOT gigantic and we could eat all our heart’s content without worrying about having stomachache later ^_^

And then, the week-end was awful in its own way…
8 hours to make 4 poor geomorphology sketches and I still have the comentary to do and all that, but I’m so lazy about it… Geomorphology should be banned from school, yep!

But after that AHAH >D
Monday I saw a few friends. We ate at McDonald’s and went to the bowling… But this time I did no strike T_T The bowling was mad at me, each time… I got nine in one blow, and the tenth would not fall T_T Aaah, it must have been a macho bowling!
But anyway we had fun, we walked around Paris until 7 PM, had a cup of hot cocoa in a bar and then I went back home ^_^
All that to learn my brother had meanwhile bought a Gamecube with Tales of Symphonia XD AHAH a Gamecube, as if my hands were not already full with all the PS2 games I still need to finish entirely XD By the way, I took up FFX-2 again, Via Infinito, level 80 and Yunalesca really doesn’t want to kill off the right girl so that I could beat her before her petrifying attack ;_; Anyway, Yunalesca and her man are very cute together ^_^ Too bad they don’t talk… sigh… my favorite character from FFX, making a short appearance in X-2 ;_; I was moved ^_^

Anyway, all this to say monday was a day full of emotions XD
And I’ll probably finish my homeworks real quick on new year’s day because I’m not doing them before XD!

I must admit I’m impatient (plus this year my proposition to have roast beef for meal has been accepted >D)

That said, the holidays are a bit wasted by the loads of work my teachers gave me (they’re afraid we will get bored during the holidays aparently T_T)
And that’s why I spent five hours walking in la Villette in a cold of –5°C, taking pictures to make a report on it T_T To top it off, the geomorphology teacher (aaah vade retro satanas T_T) asked us to do a map comentary (that is, three different sketches + a three pages comentary to eventually say it’s a jurassic or subalpin moutain relief).

And a little essay on mythology on top, nothing better to occupy oneself…

Also, my network has decided the holidays were a good time to break down, I spent 17 hours trying to get it back to work, and two days later it messed up again T_T The world is so cruel ;_;

Anyway, life goes on…
I don’t get to spend much time on my downstairs PC (the one equiped with photoshop) so I can’t complete my Caim fanart yet (from Drakengard, I love this game).
By the way, my brother is forwarding my game and levelling-up for me, isn’t it cool ? ^_^
He also unlocked the fourth ending and errh… babies eat up Caim and the rest, it’s ewww ;__;
However I do like this game… I like the fact that the characters are a little crazy…
In fact there’s going to be a second game starring a grown-up Manah. I positively adore the works of this chara-designer, he’s a newbie but he has a very nice style that really fits the game’s mood.
Anyway, I look forward to seeing this game :b

So if we’re welcoming a new member in the family (well… apart from my brother and sister and my two parents, there are also two dogs, a cat, a guinea pig and two birds…), it needed a name (or rather, I decided to name it ! ). And so this wonderful name is Sylvestre (from the St Sylvestre…) (though it could be named after Sylvester Stalone, it’d be a world-savior christmas tree…)

Anyway, I was on a break artistically, and I was wondering about doing a tabletop roleplaying game with dragons… And Stef, always there, found nothing better to do than to give me the latest news about Resident Evil 4… And I have yet again (yeah yeah, already happened in the past) got a huge crush on Leon… ((Stef speaking: yes she IS crazy, believe me ^__^)) He looks so real… I think that after Dante from Devil May Cry fame, it’s the most handsome video-game male character done in a realistic style… mmm… I’m drifting here… So, after gulping down every trailer on this game I will never play (too scary, I would be tensed on the controller and would never dare to shoot ;__; ) all alone, well, my next roleplaying game will have a modern setting instead of having dragons.

By the way, I also looked up some info on Parasite Eve meanwhile (I’d like to play that too) and the story is really crazy… Nothing to envy the zombies about… : |

To put it in a nutshell, the big news of the week: I got my christmas tree Sylvester and I’ll eat chocolate till I burst >D

Because well, you see, I really like Saladin’s design and Sherazard’s dress, and Stef and I wondered about the story…
Turns out it’s really complicated, she dies, and in order to resurrect her he dies too so he can use his own body as a catalyst, and so she is born again but as a woman spirit in a man’s body…. And she spends the rest of her life trying to break this cursed cycle of endless love and loss…

I think the worst passage is Sherazard’s first death, it’s rare to see such a psychologically hard and mature game (not, I’m not talking about mature contents, but rather… not-so-easily-treated themes…)

Anyway, despite wanting to cry when I hear the game’s music now, I’d really like to play it (and cry in front of it too lol)
That said, I prefer Saladin as a man from the desert to his true appearance (a royal blondie), he was much more badass as a mercenary (but mercenaries… gaah… you only have to take a look at Cloud to tell they’re usually gorgeous and mm… we’ll, I’m kinda drifting hihi)

So that was the little discovery of the day, I hope it won’t haunt me for all eternity, though I think it won’t leave my mind for a while…

PS: I’ve never seen a game with so many character deaths and fraternal strifes, the scenarist must have some kind of problem somewhere… lol
