So much has happened, I donÂt even know where to start

Well, swim season started earlier this month and itÂs been pretty crazy to say the least. Partying has ended and working my ass off has begun. I have double practices every day except for Sat., when I only have one and Sun. is off. Luckily, my team is the shit so it makes getting up every morning worth it

TheyÂre crazy. We had our first meet last weekend and we beat one of our rivalsÂit was epic. I haven't been this motivated in the pool in a long time, college swimming rocks. IÂm doing pretty well in all my classes too, IÂm just dreading the final exams. Everything is cumulativeÂIÂm going to die O.o

As for Thanksgiving break, IÂm unfortunately not going home. But I am flying to visit my family tomorrow morning, so itÂs not a complete drag. IÂm super excited to eat half my weight in delicious Grandma-cooked food

I do miss my friends thoughÂvery much, so IÂm just really looking forward to Christmas when I get to see all of them

In terms of nerding-out, IÂve been doing quite a bit of that. IÂve been re-watching episodes of the old Batman cartoon from the 90Âs. I forgot how fucking awesome it is. IÂm totally inspired to do some fanart

Also, I discovered a new anime that could possibly be on par with Gurren-Lagann in terms of kickass-nessÂSengoku Basara, go check it out

Just felt like updating a bit. I have Monday off, which pretty much rocks. My roommate will be gone tonight and all day tomorrow, which means plenty of gaming and being alone for once

As for the college life...man oh man, 3 papers due next week D: I've finished 2 of them, and the last one is almost done. I also have my first wave of exams coming up. Aside from all that, I've felt an incredible urge to draw and...*gasp* write lately. But my tablet is at home, so I won't be able to post anything of substance for a good while

As for the latter, after all my work is done I'm considering writing a new Fanfiction. Since I haven't done one in like, 2 years :/ Since I've been re-playing RE5 (it's the only game I brought with me) I've been inspired. Resident Evil is such a great fandom for fics, there are tons of shipping possibilities...I'm thinking Sheva x Jill. It'll be my first yuri fic, anyone interested in reading?

Just felt like updating a little bit. I didn't end up bringing my tablet to school...so no art from me for a while

BUT I shall be posting journals pretty frequently over the next couple months.

School is one word...CRAZY. I'm drowning in all the reading, no joke :/ I guess that's what I deserve for taking all English and Social Science based classes

Aside from that, I've made some pretty awesome friends who make ugly faces and act spastic just like me and my roommate and I get along really well

The party scene is also insane...every Thurs. and Sat. night like clockwork there are people outside and in the dorms going nuts O.o I will admit though, I did participate this past weekend

But once swim season starts, it's time to crack down.

Yep, in less than a week I leave for school. ItÂs pretty weird, this summer was great but time has been really creeping up on me lately O.o IÂm almost all packed, I just have to fill a suitcase and IÂm finished. Going through my room was a bitch, and you donÂt even want to know what I found in the deep crevices of my drawers

IÂm going to miss my family (obviously), and having my own room and my privacy. But just like any other passing senior in high school IÂm going to miss my friends most of all

TheyÂve been great, supportive, and amazingly fun over the past four plus years. WeÂve shared some pretty ridiculous times together, and while I know itÂs time to move on IÂm never going to forget our antics

You guys here on devART are my awesome friends too, and IÂm sure weÂre going to have lots of fun as the years pass as well

I may or may not be bringing my tablet to college, IÂm going to have to see what I have room for. Either way, IÂm going to be posting a lot less frequently because IÂll have swimming and homework up to my shoulders :/ But do not fear, IÂll be on a decent amount to check messages and such. All of that aside, it was pretty much the best family trip I've ever taken. All we did was go to shows and eat

but it was indeed awesome. We saw The Little Mermaid (SO GOOD) the first night, Phantom of the Opera (BEST THING I'VE EVER FUCKING SEEN) the next day, and Avenue Q (also one of the best things I've ever seen) later that night. I've been obsessed with Phantom and Avenue Q for a couple years now, so it was incredible to finally see them

Well, as the title states I'm going to be heading off on another trip in a week. But this time it's...ANIME EXPO!!! I've waited all year for this, and the time has finally arrived. Instead of going the middle days like last year, ~Oo-Quixote-oO and I will be there on the 1st and 2nd days of the con. I'm going as Sonsaku Hakufu from Ikkitousen and she's going as Misty from Pokemon the first day, and our outfits for the 2nd day are up in the air. Look for us there! I'll be posting lots of pictures when I get back

Before I leave for AX next Tues., I'll try to submit some stuff that I've been working on. Latorz!

My school also had our grad. night on Thurs. in which drove down to Disneyland in LA (a 6+ hour drive) and entered the park at 11, staying all night and driving back at 7. It was exhausting, the lines were brutal, but we prevailed and it was one of the best nights of my life. My friends and I were so hardcore about Splash Mountain that we actually ran full speed right when the park opened and were the first ones on the ride

Also, they had giant dances strewn throughout the park. A group of us went to a techno rave at 4 in the morning right next to Space MountainÂwhat could be better?

To be honest though, IÂm happy but also pretty sad. My class probably wonÂt be all together in the same place for a long time

And as much as I hated some things about my school (the size, some of the people, etc.) IÂve realized that itÂs been a great experience. All of my close friends from school are staying on the west coast, while IÂm headed east. IÂm going to miss them all a ton, and for those of you who also graduated today with me today I FUCKING LOVE YOU GUYS

Summer is here, which means youÂll be seeing a lot moar of me. Be excited

Another year gone. Wow. It went by so fast >3< IÂm just going to do a quick update before going back to school tomorrow. Which IÂm actually surprisingly excited for because I was sick half of break, IÂm excited to see everyone again

As for my break, it was fine. Like I said, I was sick for about a week and couldnÂt swim / leave the house. But I got a lot of gaming done, which was good. I got a Xbox 360 for Christmas (and Tales of VesperiaÂFUCKING AWESOME GAME) and beat Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World on New Years eve (but felt a longing for MOAR SHEELOS

after completing it). Ah well, thereÂs still the upcoming OVA to fulfill my, well...Zelos x Sheena desires

IÂve also been watching / reading lots, and lots of Ikkitousen too Âcompletely obsessed- IÂm in the process of re-watching the 2nd season and I finished the 1st + 3rd seasons. IÂm also almost all caught up with the manga. Great series yaÂll, itÂs my favorite anime / manga as of right now ^3^

Tales of Vesperia is one wordÂamazing. The characters, graphics, even voice acting *gasp* is fantastic. ItÂs everything I loved about my first ÂTalesÂ game, Symphonia, and more. IÂm not very far (my characters are only at level 20) but this is shaping up to be one of my favorite games of all time.

My computer is still partially messed up, so that meant that I couldnÂt use my tablet all break. Meh. I did a ton of doodling, which I might post later, but thatÂs a maybe. I have so much stuff that I need to post ;_____; My A.P. art stuff kept me busy too, but IÂm not even done with it >.< I was very, very lazy over this break lol.

All procrastination aside, this year was a whirlwind. HereÂs my 2008 recap:

My computer crashed about two weeks ago. ItÂs fine now, but my Photoshop and tablet software have been removed. So, thatÂs my excuse for not posting anything in a long time. I have been drawing a ton though, just for my A.P. Art class. When I load my scanner back onto my compy, IÂll be posting a bunch of the stuff IÂve been working on

I saw Twilight last night. It wasÂincredibly cheesy, but I loved it nonetheless. Primarily because of the mocking factor haha. My friends and I were just making fun of it the whole time: Bella sounded like a monotone emo transvestite, Edward looked constipated half the time, and the tacky lines were just too good to be true. Jacob was a fucking sex muffin though, totally hotter than Eddy-kins and Rosalie was damn hilarious. IÂm actually really excited for the second movie and now I have motivation to read New Moon. JACOB FTW!

RANT TIEM. IÂve been occupying my free time with Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (basically ToS 2) and Ikki Tousen (the best fucking action / yuri anime EVAR):

Zelos and SheenaÂs VAÂs changed, but IÂm not too bummed. Zelos sounded way too young in the first game, and he definitely sounds older and, dare I say, manlier in the sequel

Sheena soundsÂsexy. Different, a bit more feminine, but sexy. I liked her voice in the original, but I sorta prefer this voice. Alice, a new character, is my hero and Emil, the main character, is growing on me. IÂm very disappointed with Lloyd though. HeÂs just not the same

IÂm not very far (about 7 hours in) so no spoilers plz. But this game is honestly the answer to my prayers. IÂve wanted a sequel since likeÂ8th grade lol. THANK YOU NAMCO ILU

NOWÂIKKI TOUSEN (a.k.a. Battle Vixens). IT OWNS MY LIFE LOL. And is currently my new webcam, check it out yo. This pretty much sums it up: it has a plot (a kickass one at that), but is basically a bunch of school girls beating the crap out of each other half-naked

Genre wise, itÂs an action / fighting animeÂwith lots, and LOTS of fanservice (panty shots, boobs, etc.) and it has, *gasp*, DRAGONS. FUCK YEAH! ItÂs the first anime IÂve ever seen with dragons playing a central role in the plot, so I was immediately hooked. IÂve even gotten a few of my friends into it

It also has plenty of yuri hinting, and IÂve even become obsessed with a pairing, which I will be posting plenty of later. The characters are awesome and so are the fight scenes. If you like action and sexy girls, I highly, HIGHLY recommend it

AnywhoÂI just got back today from my whirlwind East Coast college trip after a sucky overnight lay-over in Denver. And I have an in-class essay that IÂm screwed for tomorrow as well as a heap of A.P. art assignments due this weekÂbleh. And now I am wasting time on devART. YAY!

But the good news is, IÂm pretty sure I know where I want to go ÂHERE I COME CONNECTICUT!!! (Hopefully lol). Yep, Conn. College is my top choice. I had an interview there too, and it went really well. The swim coach is absolutely amazing. In fact, the reason why I started looking into Conn. was because of him (I met him at swim camp this summer). HeÂs super funny and gets really into it, unlike my current coach lol :/ Plus, the campus is gorgeous and theyÂve got a great environmental studies program.

The only problem is, I sorta have to apply Early Decision (meaning I apply early, and if I get in, I have to go there) because then IÂm pretty much guaranteed a spot in the school and on the swim team if I do. ThatÂs fine and allÂbut the deadline is Nov. 15th. FML. ITÂS TOO DAMN EARLY KDFJWLDJGHLKJFHLF.

Ah well, that wasnÂt too long now, was it?

I probably wonÂt be posting anything major in a whileÂmaybe over Thanksgiving break but thatÂs debatable. I have assignments / applications up to my ears right now. YouÂll be seeing a lot from me over Christmas break though, because I have nothing else to do lol.

For those of you who havenÂt heard of it, the ÂTwilightÂ series is pretty much a vampire romance novel for 12-year-olds. The romance is so generic and shallow that I want to gag myself. And you can make fun of it in so many ways lol. I donÂt really want to continue reading themÂbut I might just have to for the purpose of mockery.

I actually love all my classes and for the first time in 3 years, didn't have any conflicts in my schedule, which is good

It just feels weird being the oldest in the school and have people look up to me. Let's just say I'm not the ideal rolemodel LOL. I'm a little...out there.

Summer...went by really fast and can only be descirbed in one word: CRAZY. Swim camp was amazing and I learned tons of new things about the sport. Getting my wisdom teeth pulled...ugh. That wasn't so fun lol. But the ice cream and smoothies were delicious! Anime Expo? A FUCKING PARTY. ILU ~Oo-Quixote-oO

We went to a rave two nights in a row and met tons of awesome anime fans just like us. We're totally going next year too ^.^ And I shall cosplay Yoko (Gurren Lagann) and / or Misato (Evangelion) BWAHAHAHA! -slutty- Clubbing? YESSIR! My friend took me (I got in with a 23 year-old's ID lmao). Let's just say that was a night to remember

KFGHFHJKJDSKLS!!! I was pretty pissed that Nintendo didnÂt have too many good games to showcase this year, but these two games made squeal:

RESIDENT EVIL 5. HOMG. I am fucking getting a 360 just for this game. It looks amazing. IÂm beside myself. Chris is hott. Sheeva is hott. The village is creepy as hell. AND chainsaw maniacs are back! IÂm stoked. My friend is getting a tattoo to rebel when she goes to college, and IÂm getting a 360 (my parents wonÂt let me take a game system with me lol). But thatÂs not Âtil next summer

TALES OF SYMPHONIA 2. IÂm obsessed with the first game, and 4 years later we get a sequel. FUCK YES. Some vids. Of the English version have been released and quite frankly, I love all the voices so far. Emil sounds like a wimp, but an adorable one, MartaÂs a sex kitten, and Richter sounds badass. Of course, the voice acting is going to be cheesy, but IÂm still super excited ^.^ Hopefully weÂll get Zelos and SheenaÂs original VAÂs, but IÂm sure IÂll be happy either way. Waiting Âtil November is going to be toughÂ

IÂve also taken interest in Tales of Vesperia for the 360 (itÂs looking like IÂll get it, but I have to read the reviews first). Although they donÂt really matter to me that much, especially in an RPG, the cell-shaded graphics really stand out. The opening song and animations are amazing. And IÂm starting to love Raven and Judith. (the new Zelos and Sheena???)

The college process has been going pretty smoothly, and IÂve gotten a hang of SAT prep. IÂve been talking to a few coaches and I have an interview for Carleton College this week. With the SAT stuff, itÂs pretty annoying having 3+ hours of homework a week over the summer, it should be worth it in the end.

Swimming has been awesome. IÂm actually not sucking everyday like I did high school season lol. IÂll occasionally be tight at morning practice, but IÂm pretty fast and warmed up for afternoon practice everyday. Our league championships are the week before school starts, and IÂm really hoping to go some best times

Junior year is nearly over for me...I've got one more final on Wed. and then I'm officially a Senior, EPIC. But...it's going to be sad seeing all the current seniors leave

They put him down for us; there was no way he could be treated. ItÂs just hard, because IÂve had him for such a long time and I didnÂt even get to say goodbye. The little guy made my move to California easier when I had to leave my family and friends behind back in Chicago. IÂm only going to leave this journal up for about a day; itÂs just too damn depressingÂ

But IÂm going to try to stay hopeful and positive. I volunteer at the SPCA Wildlife Center over the summer, and theyÂve had Bearded Dragons up for adoption in the past. I just got Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition and it is fucking amazing. The controls, the graphics, everything is fantastic. The motion controls are kinda weird at first, but once you get used to them the game is KICKASS. Some of the cut scenes look even more impressive on the Wii version. I had a meet last weekend at UC Berkley. Wow, it was cold and the people were FAST. A college guy went a 20 in the 50 free. I was likeÂdamn lol. (Swimmer lingo: a 50 is two lapsÂand it took him 20 seconds, thatÂs HELLA fast) I went one best time (w00t!) in 200 back which I havenÂt done since the summer so that felt really good. Swim season starts in 2 weeks and IÂm so ready >:3

I took the SATÂs on Sat. and they actually werenÂt that bad. I was completely stressing over the essay, but once I got my topic an idea come to me right away. Math was pretty easy, and reading comp. wasnÂt all that bad either. ButÂI ran out or time on one of the Math sections and I went back to finish it later lol IÂm a bad gurl Xp

Then I went to the movies afterwards. Meet the Spartans was so dumb but hysterical rofl.

I just got back from bowling with a group of friends from my swim team and I have to say it was the most fun IÂve had with a group in a while. I seem to have less and less (really close) friends at school these days. But my swim friends and I are totally crazy and stupid together, it feels really good just to let loose and not care what other people think. It sucks though, because 4 of them are seniors (one of them being pretty much my best friend outside school) so theyÂll be graduating this year

I bowled a 54 which SUCKED lol but I had fun anyways. Then I played on the DDR machine in the arcade and kicked everyoneÂs butts haha. Heavy mode ftw!

I watched Fushigi Yugi for like 3 hours straight today...oh my

IÂve been really busy with school/swim and havenÂt had much time to write a journal entry but I have some time now ^^

Finished Kingdom Hearts 2 this weekend (finally lolz) I started it over the summer and never quite got around to finishing it. Cried when Axel died

(he was my fav Organization member by far) ÂHe made me feel like I had a heartÂÂ teh cuteness!! AkuRoku luvin for us fangirls <3333

End boss battle was WAY too fucking hardÂthe whole thing took around an hour but it was ohhh so satisfying when he died >:3

The Naruto Movie was on Cartoon Network last weekend and It was FREAKINÂ AWESOME! (even with the crapilicious English voice actors XD) I bounced up and down like the insane little Narutard that I am during the rasengan / kyuubi combo at the end ^^ Best movie (based on an anime) EVA!!!

AND AVATAR PREMIERS ON FRIDAY!!! *pant pant* ItÂs been forever since IÂve seen a new ep. Zuko is sexy and you know it >.<

1. Habit- I doodle...everywhere and on anything lol in class on all my notebooks, at home, in the car, on planes, and even in the shower XD (it's made of glass fyi haha)

3. Dislikes- I HATE when people are super opinionated...about politics and such it just pisses me off
