o Please welcome our new administrators *Niji-iro and ~mattcha! I'm really thankful to them for the contribution to the club. I hope you two will have a nice time here!

~Announcement 2~
o The deadline of our first contest, the ID contest, had ended a long time ago and the winner has been decided. Our new deviantID will be the work drawn by *Niji-iro Congratulations! : ) Her prize is a request drawn by one of the members: ~wolfie-janice.

o I'm currently looking for new mods, because =sonteen12 and ~edwardgrape are a bit busy. New members are still coming which makes me very happy, however, I can't handle everything by myself. I need two people who have a lot of time and are willing to manage this place. The job is to : reply to messages, add members, submit artwork in our club gallery, etc. It's not a lot of work but it requires logging in here at least 3 times a week. Please send notes to me if you're interested!

~About Oofuri~
Oofuri is a short name for "Ookiku Furikabutte"(Take a Big Swing!) The original manga was created by Asa Higuchi, a talented female mangaka who have earned several big awards for her work.
Oofuri is not just your regular-everyday sport series. The story deals more with the emotions and relationships between the characters. There's Ren Mihashi who has very low self-esteem for a pitcher, Takaya Abe who likes to be in control all the time as a catcher, Yuuichirou Tajima who is a natural genius at batting but goof off at every chance he gets, and Azusa Hanai who takes responsibility as the captain of the team while dealing with his own issues. There are many other interesting characters which make the series as entertaining as it is, but we couldn't possibly list them all here. Oofuri will definitely give you a joyful time, so go and check it out everyone! Now, let's play ball!!


~Rules~

1. You must be a fan of the anime/manga Ookiku Furikabutte.
2. No bashing other members and their artwork. Please keep it friendly.
3. You can submit fanarts, fanfics, and other fan-made media that can be posted on DA. Non-members are allowed to post art here as well! (read below for more info on how to send your artwork)
4. BL/Shonen-ai artworks are allowed. Please keep it PG13 according to DA rules.



~How to Join~

Send a note titled "Join" to the club, and you'll be added.
Don't comment on the front page asking to join, you MUST send us a note. Once you become a member, please watch the club and add the club icon to your journal to spread the Oofuri LOVE!
