<sub>So today was my sister's 21st birthday. Ok, technically it was yesterday, but it's 2 in the morning and I haven't switched over yet! Shaddup!

We went to the casino in town and ate at a buffet there. The food was edible, but personally I thought that only the Chinese food was ok, and even then it was mostly the Fried Rice that won me over. Afterwards, most of the party-goers proceeded to go up to gamble... but since I'm only 18, I left with my Aunt Kathy. She had pity on me, and took me to the Boardwalk to hang out. We played at the arcade (I wowed some guys...they were playing on Medium, and I took my turn, and at first they were laughing when I chose hard- but I played 'aint it Black' and did quite well!)

Afterwards, we went and watched Julie&Julia which is quite a good movie! Be sure to see it!

On another note, I am thinking of starting up a video blog on afew things. First,reviews- of books, games, and movies I happen to see. <sub>Just a general update.

I dropped the Animation class and, instead, was able to scoop up one of the art classes I was supposed to take this year. XD Yeah... I'm disappointed in myself about it, but I just was so nervous about getting into the class and then fudging it up! I didn't want to deal with that sort of work my freshman year... ( sigh )

The current issue is trying to order books. I'm waiting to hear from my Spanish professor to see if we need the CDs that come with the text book-- because I don't want to pay extra for something that isn't included. I sent her an email on Friday and she hasn't replied yet-- but hopefully sometime this week she will XD;;

I need to know ASAP because if I order online I'll have to wait for the books to ship, and if I buy the used books from the school store, they might run out of used copies if I wait too long. D:</sub>

Here we go with me and my delayed posts again! So... I have a best buddy of mine ( :IconAeolianAngel: who lives up in Tennessee. In respect, I'm not gonna disclose where he lives, just 'cause. Anyway... we've been planning to meet eachother in Memphis for a while now...and finally it happened. My mom, sister, and I decided to drive the 5-6 hours up to Memphis. We had a hotel a bit out of town called the Springhill Suites, an affiliate of Marriot, I think.

Originally I was aiming to arrive there at around 5... but we got a bit of a late start. It was about 10 by the time we headed out of town, and about 10:30 before we were on the road. We stopped at around 2 for lunch at Waffle House, then went on to Memphis. Btw, does anybody know what that weird Pyramid in Memphis is about? WE were curious o-o;

Annnyyywaaaay... we went to the Suites, and mom urged that I didn't call Xanny until we got into the hotel room. The room was pretty sweet... it had a sort of open room with a desk, sink, mini fridge, and a fold out couch and tv- then the other room had two queens, another tv, and the bathroom with another sink. We got in, threw our stuff down- then called Xanny. I met him and his dad coming off the elevator.

It was a bit awkward at first- I didn't know whether any of the playful little things we'd type like 'huggles' would be socially acceptable or not. Xanny handed me a Guppy (he breeds fish) in a bowl, who I deemed Fishy McFishyFish, and we posed for pictures, then went off to hang around in the hotel room. His dad went back up to hang out in his room.

Let me tell you this- Xanny is awesome! Whether online, or in person, he has a really charming personality that's tinged with a sort of self-conscious humility that makes me wanna just huggle him XD~ Anyway, since it was around 6 by this time, we decide we were hungry, and we set out in the car with Mom and Lindsay to explore. Amazingly enough, barely a minute or so away from the hotel was a shopping mall! As soon as we went inside, Xanny and I insisted we ride on acarousel, and despite a few looks I had a blast!

We explored a Hot Topic that was near the entrance (Xanny and I bought some really cool bracelets!), then we walked over to the Food Court to meet up with Mom and Lindsay. There was a restaraunt there called Sarku's that made teriyaki chicken, beef, and shrimp, and it was pretty yummy.

After we ate, Xanny and I found a gamestop (I bought Katamari Damacy for the PS2), and then we looked at some things at a few...other stores (inside joke).

Then we headed back to the hotel, where we played some games on the PS2 Xanny brought (I hogged it!), then went swimming. After a while, we were the only ones left in the pool, so we had a conversation and tried to spin little whirlpools in the water. It was pretty cool- Xanny is good at them (SUPER WICKED GOOD!) and I could make a little one. XD But if there's one thing about Xanny, it's that he can maintain a level head while talking, even if it's a conversation sparking from abortion to religion. I was really impressed with it and glad too.

We also hung around at the gym and talked for a bit, then we went to bed. I don't really remember the morning, it was muggy, but mom got some of the free breakfast, and it took a while to wake up. Almost automatically, we went to the mall again, and checked out a few stores. Then we went to Build a Bear where Xanny made a bunny named Bunny. XD So cute!

I got some Dairy Queen's icecream, then we went to the bookstore and huddled around. In the end, I spent all the money I'd saved for The Beatles and, instead, bought four books-- Chronicles of Vladimir Tod (the latest one), Otomen Vol...3?, Kingdom Hearts 2 Vol 2, and some yaoi manga. XD~

Xanny bought Legend of Zelda. Cooool!

Anyway... we headed to the food court to meet up with Lindsay (mom dropped us all off), and they bought some cookies. Then Lindsay decided to take us in to look at makeup. Ew. On the way back to the food court, though, there was a stand selling Steak Rubs, and lindsay and I couldn't resist buying a few. XD Then we left and went back to the hotel. Xanny and I hung around again, reading our books- then we hung around the gym a while longer, and I triedto get him interested in Full Metal Alchemist. XD ~ Hehe.

More like SORE.

For those of you who don't know, I am now a Freshman at Louisiana State University in Shreveport... also known as LSU-S. There are three reasons why I'm going there- one, the scholarship they offered; two, it's right down the street from my house; and three, they offer an animation course that might, in the next year, turn into a Major.

I applied for a Major in Fine Arts, meanwhile. Because I'm going to LSUS, I was given TOPS.

TOPS is a reward Louisiana offers to students that covers tuition at any school in Louisiana. To qualify, you have to have taken 24 specific classes throughout your highschool career, and you must, also, maintain a passing GPA throughout college.

Added to that I have a scholarship called 'Red River Scholarship', which I recieve as long as I go to SOAR (Student Orientation and Registration, a time in which Freshmen come to the school and register for their first classes), and participate in Freshmen Mentoring (3 times during the semester, and twice during the spring semester, I have to meet with an upperclassman to talk about how my college year is going).

So, pretty much, today was the day when I had to go up to SOAR. It would have been fine, only I went to bed at about 2am the night before, and proceeded to toss and turn all night because my lungs hurt. I woke up at seven, showered, then drove off to the school. At first, we had to wait around until it was about 8:45, then we went upstairs to sign in.

When I signed in, however, the girl paused and told me to wait for another woman. When the lady was free, she looked at me and pulled out a sheet. She told me that most Freshmen have to take Math 121, aka College Algebra. However, because I'd gotten a high ACT math score, she told me that I had earned college hours for it already.

I was then told to sign a form saying I was aware of the award, then I was ushered off to a room. In this room were 23 other people, two of which were upperclassmen at the school, two girls. We introduced ourselves in a circle, then watched the first half of a powerpoint.

Then, we were ushered off to an auditorium with three other groups of twenty students, and we watched a presentation by Monster.com

After that, we were seperated according to Major. At LSUS, the school is divided into two colleges- Business and Education, and Science and Liberal Arts. As such, I was in the room with Science. LSUS is prided for its science, and because of that all of the Deans that were there were for Science and Math. In the end, I gave in and asked a question about Animation, and what courses I should take to make it an 'animation' concentration.

After that, we were ushered off to lunch. After that, we were led on a tour of the college-- then ushered back into our rooms to finish our PowerPoints.

Only then were we given a list of available classes, and sat down to register. I had a lot of trouble-- apparently, although I'm a Fine Arts Major, none of the Fine Arts classes had any spots! I finally settled on a list, and was sent down to the lab to put it in the computer. Only-- even then, I found that 2 of the 5 classes I'd applied for had filled up while I was filling out my stuff.

I asked for help, and was referred one class... but when I started wondering about the second, one of the Science Deans appeared.

He said he had thought about it, and asked if I had any experience with Computers. I said yes, that I had Photoshop at home and used it often. He nodded, then said he'd let me sign up for an animation class. The catch was, in order to sign up, usually you had to take Computer Graphics.

So I applied and left. However, when I looked things up in my book, I found that not only had I skipped Computer Graphics-- but apparently Computer Graphics couldn't be taken unless you had taken two courses of Art! I don't know what I've gotten myself into D:!!

It's basic art, and I'm confident I'll do fine, but seeing as it was the Science Dean to put me in, I'm worried that, maybe, he didn't know whether I'd really need the class experience or not.

I'll just have to call the college Monday and ask about it....

<sub>So... it's going to be a busy weekend! Sorry for not talking in a while, but I've been lazing around doing close to nothing. ~

Yesterday, I decided it would be fun to go with my sister on an hour and a half drive to Ruston, where she goes to college. The plan was to hang around, help her move around her apartment stuff, and just hang out. We stayed up playing around and watching tv, then fell asleep on her couch.

But come morning, our mother called to remind me of something- Thursday morning I have freshmen orientation at LSU-S, the college I'm attending starting at the end of August!

I'd been so excited about going to meet Xanny on Friday that I'd forgotten all about it! Because of this, we had to drive halfway home again so my dad could pick me up and drive me home. Tomorrow I have orientation...

But after that, my mom, sister and I are going to drive to Memphis, Tennessee! To meet XANNYYYYY !!

<sub>Let me put it as simply as I can- Harry Potter 6 was the best movie version of the series that I have seen. Which is almost funny, because I wasn't utterly thrilled with the 6th book... my favorites were Order of the Phoenix and 7. However, the movie was stunning, and it makes me think that a lot of the scenes in the book were the sorts of things that had to be seen to understand.

The plot of the film was divided into two distinct parts: socialization of the main characters (and their love interests coming to play) and the mission concerning Slughorn.

The movie was fantastic. But there were some things wrong with it. They completely left out the relationship between Fleur and Bill- they downplayed the fight at Hogwarts at the end of the book to the extent that only Harry was fighting the Death Eaters after Dumbledore was killed. Fenrir was shown a few times, but not at Hogwarts.

Then there's the silly ( SPOILER!! ) scene at the Burrow. In the story, Harry, Ron, and Hermione go home to the Burrow for Christmas- there is a scene of tense chemistry between Ginny and Harry, and then Death Eaters, including Bellatrix and Fenrir, suddenly appear infront of the Burrow. Harry, being the dumbass he is, runs off into a thicket of high grass, and Ginny runs out after him.

The odd scene is finished by Bellatrix setting the Burrow on fire- and then in the ver next scene everyone is back at Hogwarts, and Ron doesn't seem overly bothered in the least.

I can only hope this part was somehow coordinated with something in the next movie, or else I can't downplay the awkwardness of the scene as a whole.

On another note, while the movie did stray a bit in other ways, they were in very positive ways that made the movie better for me. The jealousy of Hermione towards Ron and Lavender isn't just hinted at- it's fully shown. I'm not sure if she did this in the book, but there's a part where she leans on Harry's shoulder, crying, and asking 'Harry, does it feel like this when you see Ginny and Dean?"

and, after a few interruptions, he replies 'Yeah, it feels like this.'

Don't get me wrong, I like that, I think that it makes the pairing off of Hermione and Ron in the next movie not so sudden and out of the blue.

But another thing that concerned me was that at the end of the movie, Harry doesn't break up with Ginny. They could just be trying to cut out the subplot of tenseness between Harry and Ginny in the seventh book.



Here is some conjecture. If they cut out Fleur and Bill, then are they going to have their wedding in the seventh movie ? Or did they replace the attack at the wedding with the attack in this movie? If they did cut out the wedding, how are they going to introduce Luna's father? Or are they just going to make it a surprise, the wedding?

I don't know.

ON ANOTHER NOTE. Here's some bitchiness about going to the theater at 12:30 last night to see this movie. There were a lot of people there... but the theater didn't handle them well. At all.

There were 5 showings... 12:01, 12:02, 12:03, 12:04, and 12:30. The first four were set into a long line outside the theater, and the 12:30 lines was across the way. Slowly, the began to let people in- but by the time it was 12:40 (when they started letting the 12:30 line in), there were still a lot of people from the earlier showings left in the line.

Lindsay and I (who went together) were relatively early in our line- we were in the first 25% of the people going inside, yet when we stepped into the theater, the only seats left were in the front two rows, right infront of the theater. It was a further 20 minutes before the movie even started, after trying to fit a few more people in.

They cut out all the commercials, and showed maybe half of one (Where the Wild things are) before they started the movie, promptly, and for about 10 minutes into the movie they were still siphoning people in, trying to fit them into the spare seats.

They handled it VERY badly. >3<;</sub>

Also, my mom is being gross and smoking and stuff. T_T; God, for all who know me, you better hope to high heaven that you never smoke in my presence, because the sound of exhaling smoke will make me try and break your nose. Lately, I've had to stop myself from taking my parents' cigarettes and throwing them down the toilet.

<sub>So all who know me well know a few things about me and my gaming preferences.

I like rpgs and life simulations. I like CALM games, or games with wonderful back stories. Shooter games scare me to death, and action games end up an utter failure. However, when I saw a review for Prototype, I was interested.

As such, I've been running into Blockbuster at least twice a week ever since it came out. Always, the game was off the shelf... and the last time I came in, I was sad to see that, once again, Prototype was out. But, sitting next to it on the shelf, was another game.

Red Faction: Guerrilla.

Of course, I'd seen commercials for it- blowing shit up, running around, hitting people with hammers. So I said 'what the heck?' I'll do it. So, I rented it for 5 days. The first two days I forgot all about it, and instead just hung around on the computer like normal.

But when I finally started up the game, I felt paranoid about being shot dead. But... when I started to play, I was hooked. The game is challenging, but it's elastic, so you can either run up and hit people with your melee hammer, or shoot them. For the longest time I just ran around blowing up buildings.

So, yesterday, I had to take the game back. And now-- I'm in withdrawel! T_T I wanna play it, but I can't buy it because all my money is going towards Beatles and Assassin's Creed 2. I just hope I can rent it again, but it's just as hard to get a hand on as Prototype... ( whines ) I WANNA PLAY IT!!!!</sub>

Am I the only one who is unable to upload anything to DA right now? I've been sitting for about two hours waiting for the submission screen to load my 600x500 picture, but it won't. So because it won't let me upload until it recognizes the file, I'm fucked over.

Gee, I sure feel happy. If that weren't enough, today Aim decided that my screename had been logging on and off too much (because my internet will go up and down without notifying me), and blocked it from signing on all night. Pretty much, every time my RaiTsui account tried to log in, it said 'You've logged on too soon after your last attempt' or something. I even had Dez, in Florida, try and sign in , and it gave her the same message.

Internet is just pissing me off today. I already have a short fuse, and it also ticks me off that whenever I get angry and throw a fit, I'm told that I need a psychologist. Yet then I'll ask for one and be told that nothing's wrong with me and I don't need one.

I dunno, I know I have anger issues- I end up punching and kicking things more than I should, and usually end up breaking shit. I dunno. Just.. fuck it, no one's going to read this or give a flying crap anyway.</sub>

So, yeah. I've decided to do another contest. Just read on for more information!

Subject: The subject of this contest it Mythology. For my birthday, I got a huge book of World Mythology, and I want to put it to some use!

Procedure: When you enter, send a comment or a note telling me the following information...

No, it's not some weird a/s/l? thing. Based on this information, I will come up with a list of mythological references from my book. You'll refer back to me later, telling me which of the creatures/people you're illustrating.

*Go to the very bottom of the journal to learn my exact method.

Judging: I'll give you some basic information from the book, but you're going to have to do some research yourself too. When it comes time to judge, I'll judge on the following criteria:

Art- I do want you to do your best!
Accuracy- I'll look up what you're doing and see if it makes any sense at all.
I'm going to pick the top few of the pictures I like- then I'll put up a poll and let other people vote. Please, though, don't put up journals asking people to vote-- just because you have a lot of watches doesn't necessarily mean you deserve to win.

***Duedate: Duedate has been extended to July 15th!

Rules: You MUST do something from the list of mythological creatures I provide. The only exception is if you only draw people, and you only have monsters. Or vice versa.
When you finish your picture, send me a note with a link to it (it must be a DA submission).
Up to 3 entries.

Types of Art: Any type of art can do, except for Literature. Any heavy references must be linked in your art's subscription.

Prize: 0-5 contestants: 1st place gets a colored chibi headshot, 2nd gets a chibi headshot sketch.
**6-10 contestants: 1st will get a waistup colored, 2nd a waistup sketch, and 3rd a chibi sketch.
***11-15 contestants: 1st will get a fullbody colored, 2nd a waistup colored, 3rd a chibi colored.

Hallo and welcome to Kitty's journal!

As of yesterday, May 24, 2009, at 7:00pm, I became a woman. ... Okay, not really. I became a high school graduate. Now I see this as a pretty big mile stone- sure, I've been out of school for a week now, but the actual Graduation happened! That's something, man!

We assembled at a nearby coliseum to have the ceremony, featuring 290+ students. The stands were packed, and the girls were all whining about their heels (as was I, of course), before we finally formed a procession down to the steps that were assembled out in the middle of the floor. We were given a few speeches, the most exciting of which involved a student dumping what he claimed was champagne over his head, and then finally got to calling names for our Diploma cases.

So we sat there for what must have been an eternity, until we were allowed to leave. All in all, it was a good graduation, I think.

On another note, I realized today how this summer is a Gamegasm year. Simply put, so many possibly good games are coming out! Sims 3 comes out next Tuesday- Assassin's Creed 2 later this year, as is Exciting Animal March; Harvest Moon. I'm so excited!! O^O

My mom took the week off, but she's been running herself ragged trying to clean stuff... and, as such, she's been on to me for cleaning. Okay, I admit, I coulda helped her with the house more, but I'm just... I dunno. Off of things lately.

Thursday we had our Graduation Award dinner, and Rehearsal. In the end, it seems that I was able to get Cum Laude, so I get to wear some gold tassel on my robe. Lala got Magna Cum Laude, so she gets red and gold tassels, and Erica got Sigma Cum Laude (I think that's what it is) so she got this sort of cape made of shiny material, red and gold, that serves as a collar. It's long in the back, short in the front, a bit like a sailor suit collar, but more triangular in the back.

We joked how Erica is Batman, Lala is Robin, and I'm Alfred.

Anyway. That done, we drove to the school and had the rehearsal, in which we sat in the bleachers for about 20 minutes, fought with eachother to form a line across the school for about 20 more, and then proceeded to march in, out, in and out over and over and over again.

Today we cleaned. I actually woke up rather late, which I hated- I hate waking up after noon. T_T; Shopped for party stuff-- oh yeah.

My graduation is Sunday. My cousin, Mariah, graduated Friday night. So the family is having a Graduation Party on Saturday for the both of us, at our house. Thus the cleaning frenzy. But it'll be fun, that I know. I'm making souvlaki for it, which I'm soooo excited about ^_~

Which I think is amazing, coming from someone who reads yahoo news a lot, and tries to keep up on things. I also think it says something for the Trekkie community, in that most of them were awesome enough to keep the plot of the movie a big secret.

I think that that's very admirable, so I'm going to follow in that and continue the rest of this journal with major vagueness X3.

It's a good movie. I'm more into the one with Patrick Stewart, so I'm more familiar with the basic words and races. But it was a good movie! I wasn't disappointed. And I know my dad, a hard-core Trekkie, will like it too.

So if you're a Trekkie who's been worrying about possible crappiness, then don't! This may regain some faith in Hollywood for you!

On another note, I'm approaching my first Monday of Summer. To celebrate, I've put myself on a forced Coke ban. This week I'll be working on cutting out Coca Cola from my life (don't get me wrong, I'm switching my addiction to Sprite Zero and other clear soda drinks). Also this week, I'm planning an exercise routine to follow throughout summer and, possibly, later on. This will include warm ups, bike days, jog days, acrobatic training days and, once I'm in LSUS as a fulltime student, trips to the gym.

I'm focusing not only on losing weight, but building muscle. In studying anatomy, I've come to admire the figure and though I doubt I'll ever get to it, I'm trying. In two or three weeks I'm also going to pick up a 200g Carb diet. Somehow I doubt this will last long, but I'll at least try and cut off snacking, gummi worms, and keep fast food to a minimum.

So please cheer me on!!

As for gaming, it's not like I'll be doing exercise all day. I'm going to try and garden a bit, but at the base of it all I'm Irish and too much outdoor time is a no-no. For now, I'm going to be rotating the current games I have, which consist of Fallout 3 (which I know I won't be able to play for long, seeing as I'm terrified of it), Rune Factory Frontier, and Sims 3, which is coming out in the beginning of June. There's also Persona 4 to finish, and Persona 3 to start and finish. RFF is the lowest on the list because it, as a HArvest Moon spinoff, really has no ending to speak of.

As if THAT weren't enough, I have things to do in my art shop on Gaia which I've neglected, and I'm applying for a few jobs around town to gain extra money before college.

I woke up the morning of the last day of finals with the headcold from hell, and if you saw me walking about you probably would have also seen my beloved box of tissues in my hand.

We had a mandatory award ceremony after our finals were done (we did 3 on Wednesday and the last 3 Thursday morning), where we were presented with scholarship certificates and all that jazz.

Anyway, after falling asleep, I was treated to a Congrats dinner at a Chinese place with my mom, dad, grandmother, her brother, and my aunt. Yum~

The next day, my mom, grandmother, and aunt and I headed to Ruston to visit my sister. Because of traffic, it was about six or seven by the time we got there, and we drove around a bit with Lindsay. Then, we stopped at Monjunis and stuffed ourselves.

Afterward, we talked a bit at Lindsay's apartment, and then the elder people left and Linz and I stayed in Ruston.

It was fun! First we drove to Wally World (ick, I know) to get sodas ( I paid), and to rent a Red Box Slumdog Millionaire (again, I paid). We went swimming in the Apartment Complex's swimming pool, and at 12 we were kicked out, then went back and watched the movie. Then we fell asleep at around 2:30.

Unfortunately, Lindsay had me up at about 8... e_e; We went to a gas station ( bought her more Red Bull, and some donuts) then headed home. But once in town, we dropped by my sister's friend Korin's house, and we all went to PFLAG.

It was so weird though- there was a Feminine Clinic that gives out abortions on the way, and outside of it were a bunch of Pro-Life squatters who had printed out large pictures of distorted, mangled, grotesque late-term abortion babies, complete with malformed heads, yanked limbs, and smeared with blood. It was pretty nasty- totally inaccurate, but so gross. We finished our PFLAG meeting (which was cool! X3) and drove back towards home-- only when we passed the Clinic again, the Pro-Lifers had put red tape over their mouths and had fallen to their knees and were rocking back and forth like they were channeling a demon or something. Lindsay thinks it's supposed to represent how 'aborted babies never speak for themselves', but it looked like they were possessed by something and had taped their mouths so it wouldn't come out.

Don't get me wrong- Pro-lifers have a good cause to defend, but that's the entirely wrong way to do it.

But really, I'm still freaking. If only because I've felt sick since Saturday, and it isn't lifting! D: Sunday I was doing pretty bad, and today when I got home from school, I slept from 5 to 8. That's not good, especially since I was thinking of making study guides today. T^T

I have to finish doing outlines for my Physics Final, and I need to assemble my Italian notes. Other than that, Wednesday the only Final I have is an easy essay in English.

I also need to finish doing my art sketchbook, which we're counting as our final. And since I have only 1/3 of it done, I need to get working. XD;

Okay, so here's my schedule.

Tuesday: Review in all classes- finish physics study guide during class, work on art in Piano class. After school, I gotta put together Italian study guide. Make outline for English Essay.
Wednesday: Take English Final. Study Physics and Italian, work on Art.
Thursday: Take Italian and Physics Finals. Done with Highschool!!

Hopefully, fter that, I'll have more time for art. XD

But, just from having taken basic High School biology, and looking at the cases that have spread outside of Mexico, I beg to differ.

This is ONLY my opinion, so I'm only talking to myself here but...

We learned in biology that, concerning infectious diseases, there is, most of the time, a sort of inverse relationship. This relationship is between how dangerous the disease is and its virulence (or how easily it spreads among people).

So, we have 150 cases of death so far in Mexico, where the disease first came to light. This seems to suggest that the disease is very deadly. However, once it began to spread light wild fire to other countries, something else happened. People seemed relatively healthy.

This is where the inverse relationship kicks in. Virulence has skyrocketed. But how deadly the disease is has (apparently) plummeted.

That's why I'm not panicking about swine flu. Don't get me wrong- it's a horrible, scary thing, and I know perfectly well that there's a chance I could catch it and die from it- I truly believe that it simply isn't deadly enough anymore.

18... so many things to do. I can buy stuff from commercials- I can do surveys like Xanny does, I can get jobs (don't know why, but I'm excited about that...), and I can join Y gallery again! ~ Ok, admittedly I don't really care about the latter but still, it's cool~

I got a bike from mom and dad. Which is AWESOME, especially since I'm going to college next year and the campus is a bit big. So riding around on the bike will not only help me lose weight, but also make it faster to travel around there. Not to mention I really love bikes... don't ask okay! I just do!

I got Italy money from my Geema... some more from Aunt Debbie and Uncle Jim, and from Eric and Lala~ Vicky gave me a KICK BUTT book on Mythology that I'm eating up~ XD Eric also gave me Star Wars games.~ XD

Also, Erica gave me some Italy money ( noms ) I shall be richeth in Italy!

As of now, all art that I owe is zilched and nulled. I know... sucks a lot. But I just-- yeah. XD

Of course, you can all start requesting new pictures. Just I have the feeling that there are requested pictures I'm supposed to be working on, but forgot about. Just by saying it's all null e void has me feeling much better.

On another note, I got a bit of my proportion ability back. I know I won't be able to color mostly for awhile, but I AM taking requests with simple colors using prismacolor markers! <3

It's been a pretty busy month so far, it seems. Last Monday I had a research thingie due... there've been lotsa tests-- my mom has been out of town all week. Thursday I ate out with a friend who was in town for college break.

And... well, all of it culminated into today, where I stayed home sick. I know I shouldn't have-- apparently we have a Physics end of the 9 weeks test tomorrow, but... I just feel horrible !

... So. Yeah.

My tablet finally broke. For a while, when I plugged it in to the USB port, the power-light would flicker on and off... it wasn't a problem at first, but then it started making it to where the light either didn't come on, or if it flickered then I'd have to reinstall the software AND restart my computer.

It might have been worth it to tough it out, except the power flickers so easily-- if I move at all it turns off and I'd have to reinstall.

So my tablet is dead. And I don't think I'll be able to get a new one until after April, if at all.

...so... Yeah. Any suggestions as to what new tablet I should get?

GOD. I am so PISSED. Within Temptation, you guys are such WUSSIES.

Let me put it this way. I make AMVs and put them on youtube. One of the amvs I've been most proud of was a Tales of the Abyss AMV to the song 'Forsaken' by Within Temptation.

The warning signs were when, a few weeks ago, Youtube removed my AMV 'Stand my Ground' which, while I was proud of it, wasn't my all time favorite.

But today I got notice: my AMV has been muted and they won't allow me to put the sound back in unless it's another song. You know, and since the video was made specifically for that song I can't do that.

It pisses me off! I can't do anything about it (officially I can resolve it but that brings in lawyers and shit)-- you'd think Within Temptation wouldn't give a crap, especially since it's advertising! Hell, the only reason I am into Within Temptation was because I watched an AMV with their song 'Mother Earth'.

Bastards. I feel like boycotting their songs for a while- like it'll do anything, but it'll make me feel a bit better.

Woo! I'm feeling a bit better now. Yay.

I've been worrying recently about college. Who wouldn't? Anyway, basically I'm applying for LSUS- everything they need has been turned in, and yet I haven't gotten any of their acceptance letters.

I was worried. D: The only thing I didn't turn in personally was a transcript, which my counselor was supposed to turn in. So I went to her office to ask her about them.

Mrs Brill expressed worry at my non-letterness as well. So, right there, she called a woman from LSUS. She expressed that I was a good, outstanding student who had gained two 28s on my ACTs, and had pretty good grades.

After staying silent for a little while, listening to the woman on the other line, Mrs Brill sort of looked over her glasses at me and asked 'Are you in Dual Enrollment?' I gushed a 'yes', and she smiled really brightly, "Ah, that's it!"

She finished the conversation with the woman, listened to her a moment, then hung up, smiling. "She says that everything is there- you'll be getting a letter. But LSUS has to put in Dual Enrollment as transfer-students, not incoming freshmen, so the letters don't always automatically come out.'

In a nutshell, they're coming soon. Woo!

On another note, I'm going to try and finish and wrap up my WIPs as soon as possible because I have a new project I'm starting. I started a roleplay with Warumono-- no big surprise, but it's amazing and I found that I would love to draw it. As such, I'm going to try and either write a story version of it, or draw manga pages for it. If I do well enough, I might actually make all of it. XD ~ <3 Woo!

Lala might not like it because Bert is a pseudo-badguy. >_> Say nothing.

Anyway. WOO If you have human OCs you aren't using, I need them to be extras. Please?

So my midterms are over.

...I think I did well enough. My brain won't let me reflect on them, so no details unfortunately.

In other news, my mom and dad had their 21st (22nd in my mom's opinion) anniversary on Friday. We were gonna go to Red Lobster but everyone and their mother was there so, instead, we went to Carrabas. :3 <3

I got an Action Replay DS which was awesooomeee. I have Harvest Moon Island of happinness and it's a HARD game, so that is making it actually enjoyable for me. I'm only using 3 cheats: Infinite money, infinite stamina, and infinite fullness. That makes it easy to do things... but it's amazing how much their is to do in this game even with those cheats!

I don't see how on earth I'd ever be able to get anything done by myself without them. o3o

Anyone who lives in the same parish as me will know what I'm talking about. The School Board here is a bunch of dimwits who can't understand the mindset of teenage people.

Highschool has a dreaded testing system known as 'Midterms' and 'Finals'. Now, usually, Midterms are hard ass tests that you get out of the way before Christmas, so that you can spend your two hard earned weeks of break to relax before the new semester begins.

Our overly hopeful schoolboard, decides to test this idea ever few years: They put midterms after Christmas Break.

I have to admit, in theory it should definitely assure that our Parish gets higher test scores. But you have to admit, in application it fails. We're HIGHSCHOOLERS- procrastinating teenagers!

Instead of studying over break, face the facts: a good deal of us played with our Christmas gifts, or went on trips to visit people. And we're not bad kids, we're just KIDS.

As such, what we're left with is a rising sense of mounting pressure, and a feeling of inadequacy bred by the idea that while you could have studied for two weeks and most likely aced the test, your own blasted psychology has condemned you to two hectic days full of stressed out studying.

I'm not happy, folks. Forget that I spent last night in a semi-permanent pseudo slumber, in which I dreamt but was aware just how embarassingly I was chewing on Celeste's tail, but unable to snap myself out of it. You know how weird it is to wake up and understand why the cat residing in your bed looks so scandalized?

Anyway.

Midterms are Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Wednesday
Italian II: Lets just say this is the test stressing me out the most. I have an 83% average which, if I remember correctly, is a high C. To get a B, I need to get at least a 93% on my test. T_T; Big chance of that. Meh.
English IV: This test might be an ok test, but it doesn't help that some of the poems we're testing on I never quite understood. However, I really did adore Wuthering Heights so that might help me out.

Thursday
Art II: We're getting a lot of Art Theory tomorrow, but so far we haven't really learned any. XD;
Advanced Math: OMG. We're on our 4th teacher now, and she's awesome but really brutal. XD However, I went through the study guide and the only stuff that really got me was unit circle stuff ( n 180 degree? What?) and identities. T_T;

Friday
Physics: ... Okay, it's covering tests 2-1 to 2-4-- luckily it isn't the early stuff, he's had some pity on us in that regard. But even so I got really bad grades on those tests anyway, and would've died had it not been for the huge curves he's given my class. Thanks Fesmith D:
Piano III: We recieved a comprehensive study guide. So. ...Yeah.
