since I updated my journal.
Guest this is as good a time as ever. Things as been good lately real good.
I received a package yesterday it felt like christmas, The package had inside my pencilling course from Joe Kubert school of cartooning. Im stoke, really I am.
I can't wait to start my first assignment and get my first critique from Andy Kubert himself. Today I received another package, It had 30 or so copies of The Samaritan comic I have been working on.
Man it sure feels really really cool to hold in my hands my very first comic.
Kinda like how it felt when I animated that first bit of animation way back when I got my first job in animation.
I am hard press working on the second instalmwnt of that series.
Anyway I should get back to work...
Also I just received an unexpecting large some of money.
If it sounds like I am counting my blessings, cause I am
Major thanks to the universe.

Man talk about an awesome day I had today.
I got over 2000 views on DA. Special thanks goes to all who are looking at my art. I really appreciate it.
I brought the wolf pages to the local comic book shop and the owner looked at them and he had a lot of things to say about it. It was constructive criticism of course. I though that I had hit it dead on.
this is the transcript of the conversation :
the best selling comics on the market are best-selling because they
are written by
famous writers who have years of experience and illustrated by pros
who have fan-base
of thousands thanks to their having worked in the industry for years.
Also, they feature
well-known characters who have had movies, tv series, t-shirts, and
toys made of them.

trying to emulate what is currently popular will look like you're
trying to emulate what is popular.

Do your own thing and make it popular.
