Way to kill off an ark with so much promise, only to bring about more sillyness that probably has no point other than Sebastian and Ciel solve the case, proving once again Ciel is a tricky, smart, posh, little prick (excuse the language), A bunch of shady adults, Lau being...Lau, and even more craziness that would've probably been expected in the series.

What we'll be doing is of course Skating but! there will also be a Secret Santa/White Elephant.
Part of me feels Secret Santa would be a great idea because that way you can get something specific for that person, instead of some thing random.
White Elephant (for those that don't know) is a game where you bring in a random gift, people go by numbers, that random person pics a gift. If someone sees a gift that you have and they want it, you can steal it.

So, part of me feels Secret Santa is the better of the two. XD
BECAUSE KNOWING ALDEN- I mean...nothing......

Ok, SO!

Let's start at zeh beginning!

Friday
The night before I had everything out and ready, but not really packed into my suitcase, so, I woke up at 8, and started getting everything situated into my suitcase. I also had to make a collage of the pics I had for the masq, so that took a while, but it gave me time to do things. So pretty much I was running late like crazy. I finally arrived at the con at like 2pm and set up my stuff for the AAtable with Crystal and got to see a lot of folks! I had done a meido outfit and so many people were all like, "You're girly! OMG!" XD
It was a lot of fun :3
then, at about 5:30 I had to pack up like crazy cuz my table mate's break took a long time (the elevators had way too many people and she couldn't find the stair well).
I had to rush to the Extended Stay (which thankfully was only 5 minutes away) to get changed for the fashion show. I forgot who I ran into when I was getting ready, but I'm pretty sure it was Laura and Nikki XD so, went back to the con, stayed in a small photoroom, moved to a busy back room, derped on posing, and cock-blocked Gackto and Frenchie in the front XD Aleyna won some Desu Note stuff for being amazing awesome and I got some pictures of her and Guernica in their Takuya Angel inspired outfits. Then I got changed into Sai from MtNN and too some epic pics with Venus~ I made Sai super short though and tons of people were giving me the ' O.O ' face, because they didn't know I was wearing a body suit underneath XD
I then decided that I'd go to the dance and shake ma groove thang with some folks. Got tired/bored and went back, took a shower, then went to bed.

Saturday
woke up at 7:30am to get ready and to set up my AAtable. I'm not sure what time I got there, but Crystal and Wesley weren't there. So, I set up my things and got hounded by people. Holy cow I sold so much in so little time! XD
Eshiza, Yuki, Germany/Togekiss, Leexy, and some other people hung around my booth being cool kids and keeping me company. Leexy was the cutest serious business meido EVER <3
I wish I could've gone to Cafe Moe to get served some tea by her.
oh heck, I'll force you to do it any way when you do Swiss and I do Austria again XDD
ANYWAY, Crystal showed up I think somewhere around 12 or so and our booth got super colorful instantly. Wesley showed up at 11 or something. I had to pack up at 1:30pm though so I could get ready for judging for the masq. Took Nikki with me and she was super special awesome help with the friggin' stringing. Stood with the Circus folks in a horrible placed line in front of the restrooms and waited. Saw David while in line and he started to like rub all over me and the gals of the Circus group were like, "BACK! BACK WE SAY!" XD David's a trip. So, we got a bunch of photos whiel still waiting. BUT OH MY. When I went up for judging I got super nervous and very critical of myself. M.Alice Legrow(sp?) was one of the judges and her stuff is amazing so I felt like a tard when she asked me some questions and Owl Depot was one too and she's super cool and I couldn't help but feel super anxious around her too, because she's a cosplay role model for me. The third judge I can't remember who she was, but she was a neat person too, so I just had so much word vomit I felt like slamming my head on the floor and begging for a second chance as to not look like such an idiot.
Then afterwards I joined Leexy in waiting for her panel. We sat in on a BJD panel and sometimes I find it hilarious how some people are so against snark forums. But oh well. Then I sat in Leexy's Posing panel and (harmed more than) helped out with some stuff.
Then finally it was Green Room time and that took FOREVER, but then the masq finally started and oh man, we were all excited and nervous. We had the coolest den mother ever too, Madame Red. So, backstage, all antsy, then suddenly, OH SNAP, IT'S OUR TURN. Waiting on my cue, got Snake into the box but oh god....the box kept getting caught on the carpet corners of the stage, so I had to just stop and leave it to keep on time with my cue. Apparently people said it looked good anyway XD
Wendy brought up her hand to early so we all did the wave XD but it looks kinda neat on the youtube vid~
anywho, my gun didn't go off AGAIN, but I had to focus more on making my death look kinda real.
then suddenly it was over XD
It went by so quickly! So, went back to the green room, Aleyna got more awards for being extra amazing, then we all filed back into the back room of the masq. WE WERE ALL FREAKING OUT. As for the Wisdom Teeth being pulled, DUDE, world of pain D:
The only reason for that is because my bloody tooth roots were CURVED, when they're not supposed to, AT ALL.
So it took like, 2 1/2 hours just to yank them out of my head XDD (I was there from 1pm to 6pm)
I felt like a wuss afterwards, cuz I started crying from the pain.
Apparently though, it's not supposed to take that long, but then again, not many people have freaky tooth roots like I do (THE DOCTOR ASKED IF HE COULD KEEP THEM TO SHOW OFF TO HYGIENE STUDENTS XDDD )
seriously, if you saw them you'd be like, "What's in the water you're drinking?" o.o

We're staying at the Extended Stay that's 4 minutes away from the con hotel.

I have the room from Thursday to Sunday.

If we get a fifth person, the cost will be $30, a sixth person will only be $25!

anywhose'll, to let those of you know, cuz I know I haven't been able to tell most of you, I'm moving!

Not out of state or anything, just moving into an apartment that's about...IDK, 10 minutes away from where I live now?

The reason is mainly because, well, this house be 'spensive,and we doesn't have the monies to keep up with it. (especially with all the random 'oh Imma break now, lol' problems)

so yeah, just wanted to let you guys know, so that way I'm not pulling an Alden and up and disappearing on you guys XD

It's cool, I have more than two guys in my Fashion Design class. One fellow who sits next to me is from Guadalajara and he used to own a fabric store that many people from all over would come and buy from his and his wife!
that must have been very exciting~

today, I had intermediate clothing construction, but it was so short, so I got out super early and I got to do a lot of errands!
I also bought that super special awesome London shirt from Kmart! ($7, oh yeyuh~)

In Int. clothing, I can make whatever I want, so I bought this awesome coat pattern, but not the fabric, cuz I couldn't find what I wanted :/
maybe tomorrow~

but I'm excited! this semester is going to be fun.

The only thing I don't like is the book for Fashion design is mucho expensivo D:

hmmm....15? more? IDK XD

2. Do you sleep at conventions?
yes~ I go to bed around 10-12 (at a good con) and wake up at 7. At a meh con, I'll go to bed when I feel like and get there around 10 or later XD

3. Do you eat?
I used to not, but this year more than usual O.o
I used to only eat dinner and then if breakfast were free or I got offered food.
Normally I starve~

4. Are you shameless at conventions?
Not really, but I am a ditz at times XD

5. On average, how much money do you spend?
oh goodness....um...IDK, anywhere from $20-$500 depending on the con and what nonsense and how much I have XD

nope~

nope
(I do know people who do, sadly)

mmm....not much, but sometimes it's there and you're like, "Why's it always Sailor Moon?"

ah, good question...Quite a bit actually! about a quarter of them from cons, anther bit form Forums and other online things, and then IRL at just random places~

Well, I went to Animazement '04, All of the Anizonas, a few Anime Expos (still going, woot), Pacific Media Expo '07 (I wanna go again!), PCC, and now I'm gonna do my best to go to more out of state cons! LIKE FANIME 8V

Depends~
I usually go alone, but sometimes I have room mates or friends that need rides~
I like being alone though. But it is good and fun to hang with peeps though :3

17. Get your own room or mooch off of someone?
I used to rely on others for rooms, but i always wound up freezing my patooties off on the floor, so I've been getting rooms. Sadly, this year's AX sucked relying on others for the room. NEVER AGAIN.
Plus, Sabo's being a PAIN because my AA tbale partners aren't communicating to me about the room situation ><;;
Well, more or less it's like, miscommunication on all three sides

mmmm....not really. I've spoke with Vic Mignogna before and I've spoke with Greg Ayres a few times, but nothing super special.

YAY~! Tucon was amazing~
though there was lots of fail on my part XD

So, Friday, I woke up at 8am, hoping to leave the house by 9, at the latest 10.
I left around 10:30 something XD
At least I had a good breakfast and made awesome CDs for the drive~
Driving to Tucson wasn't to bad! I had borrowed my mommy's car, so the only thing that sucked was the blind spot on the left side of the car XD

I had made a pit stop in Marana and I was all, ok, I have another 20 to 30 minutes till Tucson I bet. LOL, YURR 5 MINUTES AWAY XD
but yes~
got to the area wheere the hotel was and boy...I've never circled so much in my life XD
The Hotel Arizona didn't have a street sign, so i passed it twice. The first time, WHERE IS IT? The second time, I'M NOT TAKING THAT HILL DOWN.
so the thrid time I finally found some parking XD
but what was weird was...no one in cosplay in the lobby.
Thankfully I wasn't in cosplay, because there were TONS of people all dressed up for some reason. I walked all over the lobby and no cosplayers or signs or ANYTHING. I walked over to the convention center and still nothing. I had called Leexy and I was all, "I CAN'T FIND IT" D:
Luckily, I went to th front desk area and some guys (they looked like Otaku, thankyou stereotypes) came up from the stairs leading down and I had asked them if the con wass down there and sure enough, it was.
oh gosh, I walked up to a vender guy and was saying, "you guys need more signs! I couldn't find this place! Is this registration?" the guy was all, "uh..no, this is just for food and drinks...registration is over there." and he pointed to the desk.
/FAIL
so I got my wristbandband thingy and poked around to wait for Leexy to get there.
I walked aroung the whole con in less than 5 minutes. I had no idea it was so small. It was like kikicon, only indoors, had an artist alley, and panels.
yeah XD
but it wasn't too bad. Toshi had a booth (and narrowly escaped death by tire), Goku had a booth (she had Naru-chess), and these two girls I had met at PMX long ago had a booth!
the dealer room had 4 or so vendors and sadly the largest booth was Yaoi Press.
So, at some point, Leexy made it to the con and we got her wristband and put her stuff in the car.
We poked around a bit, but then decided to go to the hotel to check in. I'm glad that the people there did not catch on the Leexy was staying with me (it's an extra $10 charge for people in the room. not too bad, but still)
The room wasn't ready yet, so we went back to the con and I got changed in the bathroom. Dude, I fail so hard. I left my gloves in the car, I left my belt for my uniform at home, and I left my binding vest in the car as well XDD
so much fail that day.
But I just went without the capelet and gloves and just went as regular uniform Poland. We met up with Yuki and some other peoples to take photos, but we waited on Eshiza who was a few minutes away.
So, when she got there we took a few photos of Leexy, but since there was two Italys, Leexy decided to magical girl transform into England. It took some convincing, but I got her to wear my pants so that way, she wouldn't have to wear her butler outfit.
So we got back to the group, took fabulous photos, and then were like...FOOD TIME IS NOW, so we went to Panda Express. It was grood food~
Plus England and America love each other to much and bickered back and forth a lot XD
so, afterwards, we went back to the hotel that we were staying at and got our stuff out of the car. I googled the email and name of the 'erson' and I got a description and link thing to something called "Project Worm"

Oh lawdy.

(even though I have a feeling another shop could tell me otherwise)

so yes, you did me well.
You got me from point A to B and back again.
from being lost in Chandler, to driving to Tombstone, to stalling right in the middle of an intersection, we had some good times.

I'm going to miss it ;_;

Now I'm completely house bound, other than walking and riding my bike.
but now I can't really go to long distances..
but it's alright, because for a while, I'd been complaining to myself that I really don't want to go anywhere and I want to stay at home.

The whole con I saw lots of Team Fortress, Soul Eater, Steam Punk, Pokemon, and surprisingly quite a bit of Saiyuki!

but for some reason, the con felt like it was missing something. Like, it lacked the original energy and feel that regular AX's have...

Leexy and I blamed it on the lack of recent memes, like Get Down and some others. Something wasn't quite right about the con....

I mainly blame the stupidity of the economy and MJ for having his funeral service at the same place.

But anywho!
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, Tes and I were working on last minute cosplay things. All of my cosplays were done, but I was still working on Donald for her. However, I get weird if I don't get sleep, so I called it a night at 3:30am. (Donald is at 50% completion D: )
Woke up at 7:00am, got ready, and put things into the car. I had received directions to get to LA from my uncle and they were pretty easy, so we didn't think to print out a map, directions, or get an LA map (Not Smart Idea #1).
So, driving there, we made pretty good time. We made like...3 stops along the way. (we found a crepe place and a Purikura shop!)
HOWEVER.
I had called my uncle a few times, trying to get to the convention center, but I'm guessing that he didn't know exactly where we were, so we went...way to far North D:
We wound up in Universal City!!! D8
It was getting late and Tes was pretty angry at this point, so I took over in driving us back.
Surprisingly I got us back to where we were supposed to be in only thirty minutes, with where we weren't supposed to be took us HOURS thanks to traffic. At any rate, we made it there safe and it was all good.

OH GOD.
So, my hotel room mates have the weirdest luck when it comes to hotels.
You see, I had to pay even more for the freakin' room thanks to the fact that Waru didn't figure tax into the original amount. It was $100 more than I had wanted it to be. They had lost their reservation somehow, so from $200, we had to pay $250 for the new room. Hinata had already given me her money and I had to get the money to them quickly, so I had taken out $300 to make up the difference. Sadly, Tes messaged me three hours later telling me about a cheaper hotel situation (this was on Monday, mind you). So, sadly, I decided, okay, whatever, I sent the money already, blah blah blah passive aggressive blah blah blah (Not Smart Spence #2).
Now! Onto their bad luck with hotels.
So, since the room cost more, we were supposed to have a mini fridge and a microwave. They got there, no fridge and no microwave. Ganesa went downstairs to the front desk and was all, "where they at?" and the lady said they'd send them up. So they went and got their registration, but upon returning, still no fridge and microwave. Ganesa got mad at that and went to the front desk again and told the lady, "I've been gone for hours and I still don't have the fridge and microwave that we were promised." and the lady was all, "wut???" and so Ganesa said, "I have to go to the grocerey store. If I come back and I don't have them in my room," insert whatever it was she threatened XD I don't remember exactly what she said, but she was very angry. But they did get the appliances upon returning, so that's all good~

Then, on the news, Micheal Jackson's funeral service thing was being held at the Staples center.
WUT.
So, they had blocked off one of the roads AND there were news crews EVERYWHERE.
Reporters. THOUSANDS OF THEM.

Okay, not that many, but there were quite a lot. Especially getting closer to the following Tuesday. But at least we 'felt safer' since there were so many bloody cops in the area.
BUT, due to this MaDnEsS, when we ordered pizza, it got there very very late.
Why you ask?

*aggravated sigh*
Apparently, when we ordered pizza, the delivery person had got stuck in traffic, thanks to MJ's FUNeral blocking off a main road. However, we called the pizza place a few times and MORE STUPIDITY. Apparently, the delivery person had waited in the lobby for an hour (WTF?!) and what the guy had said was that the pizza place told him it was for the front desk and he wasn't given a room number (WUT?!) and so the front desk just told him to leave! Thus, another episode of Ganesa is not a happy Camper. Ganesa called the pizza place and relayed our story to the person on the phone AND to the front desk. Long story short, our pizzas were free AND we got two more free pizzas for another order. So that was nifty~

Then, the water got cut off. For THREE HOURS. Thank God I took a shower in the morning. I got to see the circus on Friday!

after so many years~

I mean, sure it wasn't anything like Cirque Du Soleil or anything, but it was a Ringling Brothers offshoot called, "Zing Zang Zoom!"
It has magic tricks and regular circus stuffs

but still very very cool!
I love the clown outfits very much :3

they had Russian and Ukrainian acrobats doing the Russin swings!
then an Asian troop doing another type of swing acrobats

then TIGERS <3
they were feisty XD

I loved the dogs the most~
they were fluffy and so cute doing their little tricks~
Poodles are HUGE.

I'm glad the KuroCircus Skit folks got to go!
we got a lot of ideas for our tricks for the masq :3
and we had a grand ole time hanging out with one another~

Had a photoshoot Saturday for Saiyuki cosplay~
Sadly we got there late thanks to miscommunication on my part.

Sanzo doesn't use her phone as much as the rest of us and she had posted a journal trying to contact me, but since I've been busy, I didn't think to check the intortubes, so that was an amazing fail on my part.

but we still had lots of fun, it just sucked that Goku had to leave early.
Then again she does live in Tucson and we were in Tempe XD

Mark Zell/Leexy/Allyson/Bones/etc etc makes the worlds most amazing Ukoku XD

Giovanni is very similar to Gojyo surprisingly, but he was all emo tiems that day XD

we had fun and hopefully we can do another photoshoot in the future when it's not OVER 9000 degrees outside.
Phoenix's weather has finally decided to be Phoenix weather.

man...After Expo, I'm going to get a job, change my Certificate to an Associates or Bachelors, take moar ballet, work on moar cosplay and stuff to sell at Saboten, work on that amazing skit for sabo, read and watch moar animus that no one else really watches, and live my life according to how it's been, but hopefully more time towards the Lord.
I need to give more and just do things that will benefit His people.
that way I build more treasures in heaven, but not mainly for me, but mainly for Him.

NEXT AND SOME DAYS AWAY.

SO EXCITED, BUT NOT DONE YET D:

I'm finishing up on Zidane (Wig comes in on Friday~!) got the gloves today and I need to finish the boots (crud, I just remembered that I need to make the knife!), Goofy's coming along nicely as well, just gotta finish the collar on the gloves and hot glue all the stuff on to the clown shoes (I also have to do a little more to the gloves and I need more craft foam for the shield), and then Donald's wand staff is painted, I just gotta add the extra stuff (like the giant red sculpy ball XD ) and...uh...Donald is the main focus of catching up on.

but other than that chaos I'm about done!

god, I think I'm stressing right now thanks to last minute stuff and random plan changes.

I'm traveling with Tes, picking up Hinata from el aeropuerte, staying with the JFF at the Holiday Inn across the street, and then traveling back with Tes.

Since Tes has a job now (YAY~~!!! I'm so happy for her! :joy: ) that may change? IDK, things are crazy up in the air right now.

I'd love to stay at the Holiday Inn, BUT Hotel 6 is like, $150 CHEAPER to stay at.

I bought a trash can today. It seems as though you cannot but just the lid, so now I have a full trash can sitting in my living room, soon to have its lid transformed into a Mickey Shield for Goofy.

uh...I asked my mom if she wanted it for when we do yard work and there's stuff in the yard and it doesn't all fit in our regular garbage can.

yeah...weirdest thing I've ever bought for a cosplay, other than vinyl/fabric color spray.

Today was epic.
Heck, this whole dang weekend was epic!

Friday I hung out with Nutmeg, which was awesome sauce, cuz we haven't hung out in forever in a day. We met up with Tes, Jesse, and Chrystal at SAS and hung arounf there for quite a while while the others shopped for danger-I mean...kasupurei stuff.
then, took Meg to get her back cracked (she sees a chiropractor), then headed off to meet the trio again at Metro to adventure for Sora's wedding present. WE walked out with a cutsey Miss Rabbit apron and nothing amazingly weaboo. BUT! we adventured to my place and my mom's awwesome and stock's up on random things, so we had quite a good array of useful things for her~
talked about kasupurei, watched videos and looked at pics on the intortubes, yapped some moar, and then went our seperate ways~

Then Saturday rolls along, Tes and Jesse came by an hour early (SHOCK) and I fed them cinnamon rolls and tea XD
then we adventured to Gilbert (GILBO? 8D ) for the reception. We got there VERY EARLY (DOUBLE SHOCK) and we decided to kill time by going to Circle K and getting drinks. We also bought hotdogs, cuz we weren't sure what kind of fancy food they were going to have at the party~ AIN'T WE CLASSY >83
So, went back to the Val Vista Clubhouse and this time people were there XD
Greeted Sora and her husband Kelly, mingled, got some SUBWAY SAMMICHES~ oh Sora XD
then much to our surprise, Itachi was there (cuz apparently he disappeared, so now he reappeared...with a sprained ankle boot on) but it was a fun little time, talked about video games, talked about animu, talked about just random junk in general. After all that fun shtuff was over, we adventured to Walmart for Jesse to get minutes for her phone, then to Sora's place for her bacherlorette party. THAT WAS WEIRD. I had fun making those paperplate veils though xD
I detested the 'adult content' crap that happened.
man, my bacherlorette party is probably gonna consist of Super Smash Brothers, Rock Band, and cake.
gotta have cake.
and tea.
ALWAYS.
but yeah, then we went to this dueling piano bar, which wasn't too bad really. They just needed to switch players to actually liven up our little group. OMG YOU GUYS, THEY PLAYED GREASE LIGHTENING. AND I DANCED. AND PEOPLE WERE LIKE, "SHE DRUNK?" AND I'M ALL, "LOL, NO, I'M A THEATRE NERD."
IT WAS FANTABULOUS.
we all drank water. oh, we were so rebel-yus~
I also saw Becky for the first time in forever! (since Sabo last year, actually) she was tormenting the crap out of Tes XD I lol'd.
we said bye to Sora, congratulated her, and we all went home~

So Sunday~! (today) was a Kuroshitsuji photoshoot!
I picked up Toiea, the fierce fabulous and flawless Grell, and we adventured to Scottsdale.
SURPRISE, we got there 40 minutes early, so we kinda decided to kill time by getting drinks or food or wutev~
the Wells Fargo was kinda hard to navigate xD
but after htat sillyness of a parkinglot, we went to this Ice Tango place. THEY HAVE CREPES, CUSTARD, AND YOGURT YOU GUYS <3
I got a banana-nutella crepe and it was grooooooooooooood.
gotta go there again~
(it was funny too, cuz I'm dressed as Finny and Toiea is dressed as Grell, and this little girl with her mom was all, "Mommy! That girl's hair...is RED!" XD it was so cute)
then we went to the Hilton to meet up with Alden, Kendall, and Maylene (imma spell it that way).
Took pictures in front of an amazing building, but most of it was closed, but one day in the future (when it's not boiling outside), we're going back for photos~
then Cheryl showed up and got magically transformed into closet cosplay of the Undertaker~! (she makes a really good Undertaker actually XD )
and we took moar photos~ (I got to climb a tree!)
then we migrated over to the Hilton.
we hung out in the lobby for quite a while, made sure to talk quietly, so we wouldn't get asked to leave, and took even more photos XD
(dude man, it was such a nice hotel! I have never been to a hotel where the staff was so friendly! It blew me away, because I'm used to a mix of either snotty, nice, and bored staff, BUT NO. The ENTIRE staff was so polite and friendly! they even asked about my bag, because stupid me left it behind OTL )
but yeah, definately need a con there, cuz the photo ops are NOICE.
plus they have a little couch area that looks like an indoor room that's outside XD

BACK IN FEBRUARY

My Friend Kat in my Illustration class had just been given duty of taking care of the tea party with my friend Guernica (Kyle). Originally, my friend Chrystal was going to do it, but the original chairman stepped down for some odd reason or another, so she quit along with her.
So! Kat had asked me if I was going and I was all, "nah, I'd go if I didn't have to pay for it"
Then she told me if you do two or three panels, you could get in for free. WELL! I rolled that idea around in my head for a while and considered it! XD
So I hit up Shane (ninjaKittofDoom) and asked how many panels do I do to get in free? He told me three, so I did! XD I Only thought about the Jfashion and then Para para, then thought about Con Etiquette.

so, after a month Anizona finally came

THURSDAY

RUNNIN' AROUND, DOIN' ERRANDS.
I had woke up a bit late that day, but I went to the post office to mail off my little sister's Easter Presents. Afterwards, I drove off to Easleys in search of shoulder length gloves and possibly toon gloves. I found some good long gloves, but no cartoon hand gloves. I also bought a mask for the masked ball, because the one I had already probably would've got in the way of my wig. Considering the time, I drove from 7th ave and McDowell, all the way to Cactus and Paradise Village Parkway (those of you who drive and live in AZ, know that that's an hour or more away, thanks to Traffic XD ). So, Finally found the damn hotel after ten minutes of driving around where the map said it was supposed to be (LOL, IT WAS ON THE SOUTH STREET NOT THE EAST STREET) and ran into Laura, Aleyna, Lindsay, and Krystle. We all went inside, they got their badges at the front desk, but I had to go upstairs to some room to get mine, since I was doing panels. I went to the room told them I was a panelist, signed some piece of paper, then they told me I had to find Shane. So I hunted down Shane, was directed back to the same room, got my badge cuz the guys in there were dumbasses without directions, and blah blah blah rant (That's TWO fails so far). So, I hung around for a bit, telling myself that I should leave to go get ready, but meh, and found out that Cosplay Zone was running tech. (Which I think is funny, because originally Dan told me that CZP was never going to do anything with Anizona ever again. Oh well :/ ) SO! Drove home, got ready, ate dinner, and drove back (I got there late, because the schedule said the Masqued ball closed at 10, but they decided to end it an hour early D: ). Luckily, I convinced my buddy Aura to play some music for me and my friends who hung about. I accomplished my mission of hardly anyone recognizing me, save Aleyna, who was the first person to be like, "oh! Dat be Spence!" XD
So had my fun dancing and being a girly girl~ xD
Talked with some dudes outside about Video games and then headed on home~

FRIDAY

Got up early, wore my JFashion show outfit, and went to the con~
My Con etiquette panel went okay~ I had a total of 7 people show up, mainly dudes and surprisingly two girls. So that made me sad that all the little weeboos didn't want to act right at a con, ESPECIALLY WHEN PLAYING CARAMELL DANSEN ONE MILLION TIMES. (seriously, the song is only fun when played once, MAYBE twice, but no more) So after that panel was my Jfashion panel. I was supposed to have a projector for my panel, but there wasn't one in the room, so I had to get someone to get me one and hook it up. 30 minutes into my panel I had everything set up :/ (Fail numero tres)
It went well, but I didn't even get through half of my material, thanks to the delay.
then had to pack up quickly because the JFashion show was right after it.

Poor Kat. Her car broke down and she couldn't make it to the fashion show. She was a good 45 minutes away too. But the fashion show went well. It kinda sucked that we didn't get to have a proper runthrough, because people were let into the room already. But it was good and the outfits were awesome :3

afterwards, I got sucked into a Cosplay Zone panel (even though I quit CZP back in January).
I got sucked in thanks to Aura asking me questions about the iPod music. Dan + technology = does not compute ><
Anyway, it was an okay little panel, nothing to exciting, other than our little stories XD

Finny is close to being finished, I just need to make the shirt, make his pants (hopefully the fabric comes in on time), buy little red bobby pins, make his gun holster belt and get a spade and scissor-esque shears, and get his boots!
Then, for Poland, I just have to sew the button hole, sew on the button, sew up the waist band (debating whether or not to do it by hand, but I'm leaning heavily towards machine XD ), make those chap things and attach that freaking chord to the capelet.

I'm also making awesome progress on Zidane! I've got all the fabric cut out and ready to be sewn! I just have to buy leather for his shoulder harness and that super long belt of his, then I have to make his knife.

I'm serious! In some rendered pictures, they appear to be tan, but they're actually black/grey tan!

Yes, boys and girls it's that time of year where tons of cons are happenin'! (technically the 'busy' con season is from the end of February till beginning of June, BUT! there's also the summer season [mid june to the end of september], the fall season [end of september to early december], and winter season [beginning of January to the end of february]. So technically we're in the Spring season and that is the busiest of the year, due to SO MANY CONS happening through these months!)

but at any rate! Here's my list of to do!

APH - Poland (75% finished. so much extra stuff to do!)
APH - Chibitalia (not started yet, but I will after Anizona)
Kuroshitsuji - Finny (wig's on the way, burberry knock off plaid on the way, hat's done, need to find shoes and red bobby pins)
Final Fantasy IX - Zidane Tribal (got the wig, might need a ponytail extension, got the fabric, got stuff for other things, don't have those diamond shaped buttons on his cuffs, need to buy belt or leather material)
Final Fantasy VI (IV?) - Kefka Palazzo [Amano art] (not even started D: but it's for AnimeVegas)
Castlevania [SotN] - Alucard (not started either, but this'll be for Saboten)
Kingdom Hearts - Goofy [full mascot] (I've got his head made out of foam fight now, I have the material for the shirt and pants, I need to get stuff for his vest, sew/glue fabric to the head, buy painter's stilts to make me tall, buy clown shoes and alter them, etc. etc. etc. This'll be for Anime Expo, so that'll be top priority after Anizona)

I also want to revamp my Vocaloid cosplays. I need to make better headphones for both Len and Gakupo, need to remake the leg warmers and arm warmers for Len, figure out a way to put Gakupo's hair into a not fail ponytail, actually make accurate pants and shoes for Gakupo, and some other stuff that I can't remember at the moment ==;;

I went to Scottsdale Fashion Square for the first time today! I've been to the small theatre that's on the other side of it that shows independent films, but that's beside the point.

IT'S HUGE.
It has three stories, and hidden little stores as well!
It's like all the regualr malls, only pricier xD
Plus, they have higher end stores! THEY HAVE A BURBERRY STORE OMG~
And Louis Vuitton! and a bunch of other big name stores!

They had the sexiest men's coat there~
IF IT WASN'T FOR THE FACT IT WAS $1,495 I TOTALLY WOULD OF BOUGHT IT <3

Seriously, she dragged me into this Pink Monstrosity store called Betsey...Johnson? something like that.
There were maybe...two or three things that didn't look garrishly aweful in my eyes XD
It was like 1950s housewife outfits, meet...slutbags of today...
yeah....I mean, some of the dresses weren't to hobag of the hobag five, but OMG...when they try to pass off a pageant girl dress as everyday wear? HECK NO.

At least I got to go to this one store that make me recover from all that horrendous pink.

But yeah...
we also went to the Sweets Factory candy store they had there and bought candy~ That definately made up for the horrible girly clothes XD

I mean, I like girl's clothes, but with a lot more modesty, practicality, and a slight touch of feminism.

I mean, it's hard to explain to other people that when I look for a boyfriend, I'm also looking for a future husband. I only want one love in my life, so that way, I won't have to love anyone else. It sucks though too, because a lot of people aren't very serious when it comes to things like dating/etc.

February is the busiest month I SWEAR. Heck, even next weekend is an anime fest.
Which means I'm going to have to make another cosplay in only less than five days again XD
But at least it's not to bad, I just have to make a shirt (with lining~) a head band, a sash, and then hunt for khakis~ (I'm doing Hakkai from Saiyuki Reload!)

Probably won't enter the contest though...well, I might...IDK, the rules say 80% of your cosplay and technically I'm only making half D:
(I consider 100% when it's a full out fit. Like, if I made the pants as well, then it would be 100% made. But since I'm only making the top half, I consider it an actual half, like 50%. IDK, that's how it is in my head...)

ANYWAY!
yesterday and today was Matsuri!
It was pretty fun. Hung out mostly with Nana (jesse) and Tes the whole time, but I ran into a lot of people I knew, which made the day seem very long XD
But the sucky part was that there was even more cosplay this year, but the vast majority were bought and not very well done D:
[rant] I mean, you can buy a cosplay, but MAKE IT LOOK NICE. There were tons of kids with just one item and they would say that they were someone, but they had no wig, improper shoes, etc. IDK, I know they're kids and not serious cosplayers, but being a person who's cosplayed for about 5 years and MADE ALL OF THEM, it makes me sad inside. eBay's really whoring on my turf. SRSLY. Now, there were some cosplay that were actually VERY GOOD. My favorite was the girl as Count D from Petshop of Horrors. She had hand painted the lotus flowers on the dress, hand painted the shoes to match, had both eyes a different color (purple and yellow), and just overall AMAZING. Then you had Guernica and his amazing 'yanki' Grimmjow XD and some others like Remu from Touhou Project~
but yeah...I know there's no rules to cosplay, but to the 'seasoned' cosplayers, it hurts to look at cheap material that was bought for an expensive price and just used improperly...
It also gives us cosplayers a bad reputation because, even though they're probably good kids, they run around a lot and act up, giving 'normal people' a bad image of the people in costume. Which is a really big damper on everyone. I mean, yeah, you can have fun with your friends and be an attention whore in your little group, but don't terrorize OTHER PEOPLE that ARE NOT in your group and let them know of your attention whore-ness, because a lot of people base everything on first impressions and if they see you act like an idiot towards them, they make generalizations. [/rant]

ANYWAY, OTHER THAN MY WANGST.

it was still pretty fun seeing everyone~
I haven't seen some people in FOREVER and saw them at Matsuri *small world* (like my friend Paul who I haven't seen in about a year, then my buddy Alex who I haven't seen in about...a year and a half, etc. etc.)

OMG. Asahi pastry had steamed AnPan! 8D
then this one booth had these amazing Azuki bean (or natto?) pancakes. IDK, they looked and tasted like pancakes, just with sweet red bean centers and OMG THEY'RE SO DELICIOUS~
I just wish they had okonomiyaki! (Nana and I were also like, "They should bust out some Takoyaki so we can try that shtuff." seriously. I want to know what octopi goodness is in them with hot mustard~) I also got to share a shaved ice with ~Toiea that we had them gives us three flavors that made a rainbow on the ice (GAY IT UP PLZ). It was really good and well worth the five bucks XD man....Festival food is pricey, but we pay for it anyway :/

on Saturday I wore my plaid yukata. It got a lot of attention o.o;
I guess it's because no one's used to a plaid kimono~ I had bought it from a girl and it's from the brand MA (Maxicimam) and it was a punk kimono that came with a nifty little plastic Uchiwa. It has zippers on the left panel~ (I'll upload a photo soon)
Then today (sunday~) I wore just a casual punk outfit. HOWEVER! XD
I apparently looked like an Asian guy too a lot of people XD I wore a turquoise blue flannel lumberjack plaid button up shirt open, with my yellow faded design FLCL shirt, my 30 Seconds to mars black, red, and white bandana with some buttons pinned to it (fish design on top, hiding the shameful fact that it's a 30StM bandana XD ), and then my dark colored fitted jeens with my studded belt. Oh yeah, my red converse and sunglasses~
Apparently, this made me blend in with the Asian people walking around o.o;; (I got 'that' look from some Asian girls too ._.; ) When my friend Chrystal was trying to find me in the crowd, her BF had pointed me out, but she couldn't see me at first and she asks him, "Where? Is she behind that one asian guy in the blue?" and then he tells her, "She is 'that one asian guy!'!" XD

ANYWAY!
They played a really good game too! The score was Pittsburg 27 and Arizona 23. VERY close. Hell, they had 35 seconds left to turn the game around, but nope :/
The dumb thing was that they took one of their last timeouts at 15 seconds left! 15!!!!!!!!!
My god the stress and intensity was amazing.

So yeah...It was pretty exciting for a game.

AND LOL, BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN AND THE E STREET BAND WAS THE HALFTIME SHOW.

Our economy is so bad that they could only afford them XDD

but they had good energy too, and it was a damn good game.

I enjoyed it surprisingly!
and hopefully one day more sports games will be good like this game was!

Thursday I had slept till about 12 in the afternoon because I had come home about 6 in the morning thanks to sewing things. So, I ate breakfast answered what emails I could, etc. etc., then began working on what I had left for Gakupo.
So much use of hot glue and foam XD
Then around 7 something in the evening, Jeanne (CZP main seamstress/director/actress) had texted me about the table covers, asking me if I had finished them yet. I replied back that I was still working on my cosplay, but I'd begin working on them as soon as I could. WELL, soon was not as 'soon' as I had comprehended. Around 11:45 she texted me again asking where I was with them and I just looked at the time and just " D: ".
So, I stopped working on Gakupo and started working on the table covers. It was mainly just sewing bias tape to the edges and I had the white part already sewn to three of the five, I just had to sew the rest of the white trim, then add gold trim to them.
While sewing, GarnetStar had been texting me where her and her husband were in their progress and their whereabouts on their driving down here. I finally finished everything around 3:30 am. Then I started packing XD
Garnet and her husband James finally made it to the Marriott hotel at about 4 something and I as half way through packing when she told me that had made it. So, I finished packing, got everything in the car, and headed on out to Mesa.
I BEAT MORNING TRAFFIC BY TEN MINUTES
I was so happy~ XD
Got to the hotel, met up with Garnet dropped my things off, talked to her a bit, then drove off to the Westin where CZP was staying. Ate the hotel's free breakfast, loaded up the cosplay into my car, drove with Rel back to the con center, and then we started setting up the room. We had to set up for the Ouran High School host Club musical in the little island type building in the parking lot, so it was interesting, because the room, proportional to the masquerade room, was rather small. it was maybe...a little more than half of the size the masq. room was.
But at any rate, everyone was setting up, Laura fell asleep on the floor underneath tons of jackets, Dan and Lindsay bought a new light for the show because there were no Guitar Centers in the area and the bulb they needed wasn't the right strength or wattage, vacated the room for an hour and a half long panel, got dressed in the bathroom, and then tried finding something to do for the hour. I wound up playing para para paradise and met up with this one girl I knew, saw my old High School friend Leroy who was doing security, got a soda, and just dicked around for about an hour. Finally when the panel let out we had to work on some scenes, do light testing, etc. etc. All very crazy, stressful, and interesting, lol. So then finally 2:00 pm. rolled around. People were seated, and then finally we began our show.
I was nervous as hell D:
We didn't get a full house either...But we acted out our performance quite well, without any major problems or anything. I think at some point during the show we did get more people in the audience, because I kept seeing people coming in out of the corner of my eye.
The show went very well. I saw Chrystal! We then had to start cleaning up our stuff to get it out of the way of the JFashion show. After waiting for 30 minutes on Danielle to answer my question of "can I go now?" (she was running around working on things and not really paying attention to me), I finally left the A building, went back to the hotel room at the Marriott and took a most wonderful shower XD
Afterwards, went with Garnet and her husband to the hotel's restaurant and I almost fell aslepp in my food XD
so, after dinner, took about an hour's nap, got dressed into Gakupo and began searching for the vocaloids. Found DisgruntledOtaku and LittlePokemon as KAITO and...I don't remember what LP was dressed as, but we met up with a Miku, ran into Leexy who was our Len, and I had to hunt down our Meiko and Rin. Because of weirdness, we had to wait on Kyle's panel for the gathering. Laura (Meiko), Aleyna (Rin), and I (Gakupo) got a text from Dani saying they were at Denny's. So, we told the others that we'd meet up with them later for the gathering. OFF TO DENNY'S!! Meiko as the driver, Gakupo in the front passenger seat, and Rin-chan in the back!

We hung out at Denny's for about an hour and then headed back for the gathering. We didn't really take much pictures, but I did get some video. Even though I'm going to be a lazy bastard and not be anywhere where he may be.

Why? Well, for one, I'll be busy most of Friday and Saturday, but two (the MAIN reason) is because I'm not big on attending panels. I only go to panels unless I really REALLY want to see the person/want to learn something new.
Attending a panel is a very rare occurance for me, really.
I usually walk around a LOT. I distract myself with tons of random things...like....talking to other cosplayers, playing video games, dancing, singing, and....DEALER ROOM <3
But that's usually bigger cons.

THIS CON HOWEVER
Friday: 11 am to about....4:30pm? We're working on/performing the Ouran High School Host Club Musical.

Saturday: 8am to about 5pm....Host Club 'Cafe'

It's fun, but god dammit. I hate people and I hate the stress that they don't know how to control.
ESPECIALLY when no one tells me what's really going on.
But oh well, what can you do.
Ah well, I'm quitting soon anyway.
