I was very busy with this college class since the beginning of summer but it's over now! I will be drawing more! YAY! SOOOO many people are faving my "Altered Base" deviation that I've decided to stop going to every person's page and thanking them. Lol. There are too many of these people that......well, if you don't have enough confidence in your art to ever use your own skills, you probably shouldn't be on Deviantart (no offense, I mean, I have used some bases before, but some of the people I've seen who faved my base use nothing but bases in their deviations). :/

I'm getting on a plane tomorrow to California! I'm so excited! Although, I am not looking forward to when I come back (I go to a kind of part-time school every Wed. and it's starting back up on the 14th, the day after I get back) cuz the schedule looks a little something like this:

Wednesday (7th):
3 hour plane ride. Get dinner (at 6 though that is EIGHT o clock Texas time XP)
go to Disney Hotel. try to sleep before 11pm (it will feel like 1 in the morning by then, and that MAY not be late for some of y'all but I usually sleep by 11)

Thursday:
Go to Disneyland (we get to go an hour before it open to the general public, for staying at their hotel)

Friday:
California Adventure (That's two straight days of amusement park madness @__@)

Saturday:
Party with the fam @ Aunt's house (I got a BIG family on my Dad's side)
Go to friends house where I stay for the rest of the trip

Sunday:
Go to my old Church that STARTS at 8:30 but is a 30 minute drive so I gotta leave BY EIGHT @__@
Party from 4 - 9 with old Church/bible study friends @ the house where I'll be staying.

Monday:
Visit Mom's brother and family (The most mellow day of the whole trip)
HOMEWORK EEK

Tuesday:
Pack up and fly another 3 hours back home

Wednesday:
School (I would have finally gotten used to California time LOL so even though the class starts at 10:30 [WHICH I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR!] it will feel like 8:30 and I normally don't even roll out of bed until 9. I am definitely not gonna be fun on this day...)

well I guess it's normal for people to not read my journals...but there is no excuse for the neglect of my deviations...except maybe people don't like me putting up pictures so they don't look at anything now...I am not sure
...or maybe it's just me and I am just being dramatic about all of this? I have noticed that some of my watchers like and have kinda just disappeared on me. (WHERE DID U GO?!?!) there may be more people like that...although, I usually get about three commenters on each deviation even without them. But my most recent deviations... [I am aware that more recent deviations are prone to less comments at first, but these have been up for a many a-day] my most recent one has been up since Nov 29, almost a week ago, with...oh, two commenters, well that is not so bad. the second most recent was submitted
Nov 26 and it's in color!!!!!!!! which is rare for me and more people usually comment on those...but again there are two commenters. I used to get like 10 half a year ago :[

I am trying to get more but now I get like 3 replies every day, then a few comments for deviations which I don't submit that often, then some notices/hot topics/usless junk I don't read, etc. I try making journals and deviations more often but I guess creating the opportunity for comments will not automatically make people comment on my stuff. Like I said I am probably just being overly dramatic. at least being tagged for memes and stuff would make me feel better, if it's all the same to you guys

I should probably update at least once a month.

Okay well I have not drawn stuff in a long time, first of all I didn't have the time to draw very often, and second of all, even if I did, I don't like to draw when I don't have that strong urge to draw A LOT. That's why my deviations are submitted in large clumps of a similar time, all spaced out over weeks. so yeah. That happened yesterday;
I was even drawing while I watched Ironman with my family! It is a great movie btw. Last night I watched Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (did I get it right?) and the night before that I watched Journey to the Center of the Earth. Long title. good movie. unrealistic of course, but good.

some rooms in my house are being refurnished. My parents ordered new couches and put them in the living room. The den lacked seating so the old couches are in there now. we also got new coffee tables and end tables for the living room.
Then my parents ordered an entire new bedroom set. it's way fancy looking. Then a lot of their old stuf went to me and my two sisters. they each got a nightstand, and one got the old cedar chest. I got the old dresser. I need to put something in it haha

So how's y'allz summers going? what are you doing for the 4th of July? My family is gonna host a pool party/BBQ and today I've been helping getting the house ready for it! I think the most interesting part of that was cleaning the back patio. it's big. my sister swept the bigger stuff while I used the hose to spray the dirt off. it was pretty hot outside, so after sticking my feet in the pool and thinking it felt so totally awesome I jumped in it with my clothes on and I tell you now that I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO THAT! I know I'm such a dork but anyhoo

11/13: Just came back from shopping all day. *exhausted* I'm sorry but my printer still is not working XP and my internet is down, we have a plug but it's not working on my computer for some reason, so I am using my mom's computer and it won't let me reply to you comments like there's no actual "reply" button! Mom's computer is so frustrating. idk when it will be fixed but I hope soon, my printer also because I have all ya'lls stuff like way overdue and also my lab report for Chemistry. The rules were that you had to draw an animal and it had to have color. I didn't know that such a prize could be for something as small as an art contest! I need to find something like that lol

I actually entered an art contest that was judged by 3 judges and wasn't actually a contest cuz everyone was graded individually and you either got like....good, excellent, and exceptional and I saw one that said something below "good". but this judging made sense because the grades were 3-12! exceptional was the best and that's the ribbon I got!! I'll put a link here if I can get it out of the frame and get is submitted to DA. [oh yeah fyi it had to be mounted too]

okay so About me:
I am 15 years old, though I look younger [and sometimes act younger too] I have two little sisters, no brothers. I am homeschooled but go to a school called the "One Day Academy" on Wednesdays. I am blond [and I like blond jokes btw] my hair is uncontrollable. it's a little wavy, very long and VERY VERY thick.

My personality:
on the outside I am shy, sensitive, and kind to others, but sometimes my inner self shows itself. on the inside, I am insensitive sometimes, I love the hardest music, the horror-est books and movies, the awesome-est amvs and drawings [not that I'm one to judge] and it all comes out in my art. maybe that's why I'm so nice, I get rid of all my sadness/anger/other emotions by drawing lol

I'm a very fast learner and I gotz a trigger happy finger so playing video games is fun for me even when playing something new. I'm pretty observant and I learn best by my eyes, aka memorizing. like when I am memorizing words/phrases/facts. I can even make a word bank of vocab words in my head, it helps to a great extent ^^' and even when I watch anime I memorize certain ways in which things are drawn. Despite what I just said, I don't have the best memory. I am always forgetting the most idiotic things, and just remember what's important to me [lol]

My interests:
anime [obviously] in my spare time I draw, watch anime, play videogames, make an AMV, daydream or listen to music. I make up stories in my head all the time but if I start to write it down I get bored of it and give up before I finish [for almost every story I've ever written] so I mostly keep them in my head. Though one called Hakujou is spilling out like crazy and I have started making a comic, but I will put it all up at around the same time. I've told many, I'm just like Sasori [Naruto] I hate waiting and hate making others wait. I like harder music best, my top 8 fave artists are Skillet, Ayumi Hamasaki, Evanescence, Chris Daughtry, Nickleback, Thousand Foot Krutch, Linkin Park, and Nightwish [in no particular order but skillet is my favorite] odd combination I know. I like my pogo stick. I've learned to do it without hands after a year of receiving it. a random entertainment I had to mention. Also I like climbing trees a lot...ever since I could. I'm a total monkey. I was born in the year of the monkey, I have abnormally long fingers too. and this other thing and I like

My art:
I like drawing a little fanart here and there but most of my drawings consist of my own creations, and usually it is done freehand--without looking at anything at all. Even some of my fanarts are done freehand! most of my art is just linart because I don't have PHOTOSHOP yet! I used free trial once and colored like 3 drawings. the rest of the colored pics I have here were done on MS paint which I've been using since I was just able to draw shapes! *laff*
my utensils for my traditional work usually consists of a mechanical pencil, a big eraser, paper...and that's about it. oh yeah and when I put it on the computer I use Paint Shop Photo Album 5 for final touches like cleaning up[which doesn't always turn out successful], and maybe some effects.

I will get [Hakujou] my comic up when I finish it, or at least when I get really far in it, and/or color it. I will change this when it is up. *whew*

I am EXTREMELY limited with my materials right now, and it takes a long time to get pictures ready on MS Paint before getting it on here. (ESPECIALLY if I'm coloring it)

I've seen some extremely advanced coloring here and I've been asking what they used but I haven't really gotten any replies and it's a little frustrating. If you are reading this, do you have a suggestion? I would prefer that the software be free? but if it isn't still tell me plz
