Well we're still open for any new admins if you wish to help us run this thing and get it moving, and as such you should still note the club saying so and we'll discuss.

I'm also taking back control over the journals. I ( Valyx ) have had nothing to do with the last few updates and character uploading, I'll be the one doing this journal work from now on. Again.




We have 19 members now... nearly the 20 we wanted to get with some others who will be joining but have yet to draw. This will put us over 20 when things are finished.

We're ready to go on ahead anyway and start with some kind of art.. 'contest' might not be the word for it right now but art needs to be done regardless.

Now is the time when some of us here have to be active and we'd like to know if anyone who is a member now will be with us and is ready, that's what that there poll was about.

A 'contest' idea is being revised and will be loaded up at another time.

Again, we'd really like to know if you're willing. I've been through groups before and those that join early on usually jump ship twice as fast. We don't want that.

This list is an example of how elements will be grouped here. If you think your element is one thing it might turn out to be under another.

We will use this for groups in possible future 'contests'. Plot-wise it may mean little.




While we prepare for some possible art the layouts of these journals will change and art will be made for them. Plus a Meme is in progress. Every place has a Meme.

All groups have some sort of base. We didn't want one of the common Castles because.. that's a bit over-used. We've decided on one and it's still Hollow Bastion/Radiant Garden. We're going to officially use 'Cavern of Remembrance'. If you don't know what this is that's fine. It's a Final Mix section of HB/RG. It's different and still appropriate for us. For written purposes.. it'll effect plot. Otherwise it's just nice to say.

We've officially got 13 members as well. For these existing members.. the four groups we mentioned before have briefly been defined. Because there are four groups that we will divide into there are four Superiors and each one represents one of the four.

Saexma represents the 'Mineral' group. Things that go under the Minerals: Stones (Crystals, ect), Metals, Elements (Periodic Table-like), and then some Landscape. Like Earth and Nature things.

Valyx represents the 'Ability' group. Things that go under the Abilities: Manipulative elements, certain Skills/Abilities/Stats and ect.

NOTICE BOARD

Another update.

All of the Admins have gotten artwork up with the exception of two but these two are excused for the time being. All submissions may be made as of now. And in reminder ONLY a link to the deviation is needed in notes. Just make sure to include the information we require somewhere in the deviation's description. The information that will decide whether or not characters will be accepted should be there for us.

The rules for joining/submitting have also been updated.

As of now the Member List (Nobody Members) will be updated every time a member is added. Check this list for information on the existing members. Should you wish to update any information found on the list at any time for your character please note *SoraShadowX111, thank you.

Some time soon a 'Home Base' like most Org groups have will be thought up, however, it will not be any of the common Kingdom Hearts Castles as the aim here is to be different from others.

Also... before as we mentioned a split of groups (because this has been an OHS tradition for a while now) they are currently being defined for future knowledge as it will come into effect in the future. We will update again when everything is squared away.

Here at Our Hearts Sanctuary we want to make sure you have a fun and safe time. Of course it's to be expected that you'll run into some trouble every now and then. If you have any questions please, do not hesitate to ask. The preferred way is to join in on the chatroom. Ask your questions there, usually someone should know how to help. But if in the unlikely event that even they're stumped, just note the corresponding Administrator regarding your problem and someone should get back to you within 24 hours....

Q. Can my character be one of the original elements?

A. No, it may not. The original 13 elements are basically off limits. Their elements along with their names and styles are off limits. We need a little more creativity than simply dying Axel's hair with a name twist and then trying to pass it off. However your element can be an aspect of the 13 elements such as Gravity-Space.

Also the four leaders of OHS have generic elements just like Organization XIII. However these four elements you are not allowed to have certain aspects of. You may have similar elements to all of the existing members but they must have different names and different uses/abilities.


Q. How can I find out what my Ranking is?

A. Well first off we suggest checking out the Ranking link provided at the top of every journal. But to explain again, our ranking system is run by our lovely Bookkeeper Mr. Roboto. An automated point system if you will. To access your exact point values, message him in the chat rooms (commands are provided in the chatroom). But if you don't want to deal with all that, a general idea of your ranking can be found on the Rank page, where you are listed by level instead of by number count.


Q. What Worlds am I allowed to use for my character's home?

A. You may use any Disney movie world in existence for your character. It may also be any Final Fantasy world. For a list of Disney movies both classical and not read this: [link]

We choose to use worlds from the Final Fantasy games here as well because Kingdom Hearts was created by Square and had Square characters in it so for fan purposes we don't see why not.

The ranking system is key here at Our Hearts Sanctuary. The higher up you are, the better. Rank is determined by one thing and one thing only. YOU. You need to be willing to go that extra mile, because you'll be rewarded for it. By being active you gain points. Join events, enter contests, and help out around the castle for some bonus points.

So here's how it works

Everyone begins as a Nobody, unless appointed specifically as something else.

Each Special Event participated in gets you Points (usually determined by the event). Winners get bonus points. The same is said for Art Contests.

You may also gain 2 points per person you have join the club. Great way to recruit, great way to move up in rank. Just have them add in that you invited them in their joining application.

The more points you gain, the higher your rank gets.

How to check rank

We have a system set up in the chat rooms (link goes here) for easy access. Use the commands (*****) to get an up-to-date record of your scores. (NOTE: THIS FEATURE IS NOT YET AVAILABLE...JUST CHECK BACK WITH THIS PAGE FOR NOW)

:Create your own nobody:

. Create a name -- MUST HAVE AN X

. The character MUST have an Org coat but it can have modifications, if you so wish.

. Pick a World of origin -- MUST BE A DISNEY AND/OR FF WORLD

. Give them a weapon of sorts -- MUST BE DIFFERENT THAN EVERY OTHER NOBODY IN OHS and in your deviation's description make sure to include the NAME of the weapon but to not make this name completely original. WE NEED A NAME TO PUT UP ON THE MEMBER LIST

. Give them an element -- MUST BE UNIQUE (To a degree. The original thirteen elements of Organization XIII are forbidden, however, you may choose different aspects of Nothingness/Space/Wind/Ice/Earth/Illusions/Lunar/Fire/Water/Time/Nature/Thunder/Light i.e. Gravity - Space)

. Lastly write a description -- It doesn't have to be long but we need to know what her power entitles, what especially what its weakness' are. We can't have any god mod characters, so please...play nice.

. Create a Character sheet (Digital/Traditional) -- it doesn't have to be uber detailed, but at least a full body shot with a weapon and on the deviation OR description list the World, Name, Element and it must be colored

. Send a note titled 'Joining' with a link to the character sheet

-Watch the club, and you'll be added to the member listings. Also recommended so you get the updates of the club

-Add the club to your journal. It helps us grow! Or, include a link to our main page in you signature!

Numero uno, you MUST be in some shape or form, be an ACTIVE member. --This includes posting art, if you're just in the club and not into the roleplaying. This ALSO includes the fact that you must like OHS, yes?

Pretty self-explanitory. An administrators word is RULE. R-U-L-E. What they say, goes. Only the Boss can tell anyone differently. Each admin has equal control over all OHS material. Whatever they say, unless the Admin team says differently, GOES. No if, an's or but's about it. So get to know the Administrative Team.

Follow dA's policy, and our submitting policy on our main journal. You'll find our submitting policy under the hyperlink at the top, entitled "Joinage and Submitting".

No spamming on any of our pages, be it the main page, or any of the journals.

No FLAMING in your spam on the main pages or journals. If you have a problem with any staff or member, take it out with who ever it is you have a problem with via a note to their personal account. Don't bother us all with it. Aka do NOT note the club with complaints.

Advertise us. This is a rule, because? Because, we need to grow. We need to survive, and we need to be advertised. All we ask, is that you place our icon/link somewhere on your own main page. Or, comment box.

Valentine's Day!

So we figure, time to do a contest, am I right? Of course I am. So, we thought- V-Day is coming up. Even though we may not have hearts, we like holidays, right? Sure we do. So this time around, draw a Valentine for anyone in OHS you'd like to give one to. It could be a fake one, a real one, or anywhere in between. You decide. Could be a comic, could just be an actual valentine. We're all laid back around here, right?

The deadline is March 1st, giving alotta extra time here, guys. The rules arree... no porn, because Deviantart said so. It has to be for someone in OHS that's not you, and.... hm. Be creative? Have fun, or something?

The prizes are as follows:

1st place- One full color drawing with background from me (Lilix), and one from Xormiku.

2nd place- One cell-shaded drawing from a superior of their choice.

3rd place- One lineart drawing from a superior of their choice.
