They all freaking rocked! Especially The Acacia Strain and Bleeding Through. We saw them at the Hawthorne Theater which was surprisingly smaller than I thought it would be. So we were pretty close to the bands. There were huge mosh pits too, but I didn't get into them towards the end. When Bleeding Through was performing I was really close and just moshing out. I even got to shake the lead singer's hand, which was awesome! It was a great night!!!

Taste the Chaos Tour:
Performing in the Taste the Chaos Tour was Valentine (Small L.A. band), Cancer Bats (I've seen them before), Four Year Strong, Pierce the Veil, Bring Me The Horizon, and Thursday. I didn't stay for Thursday I was too tired and I'm not much of a fan anyway. But every other band was great! I met the guys in Valentine and Four Year Strong and got their autographs. And there were some pretty awesome and pretty huge mosh pits too. I got in those and went crazy. I got really beat up too, I'm still really sore and my leg hurts. I was also in one of the only circle pits during the whole thing. I almost lost my shoe and got punched in the nose and kicked and punched in the nuts and stomach by some guy flailing hist legs and arms and I fell on my tail bone real hard. But even though I got the crap beaten out of me, it was one the best concerts I've been too!!! Now, I'm hoping to go see:

Blooddrunk - Children of Bodom (2008)

This album by the Finnish Melodic Death Metal band, Children of Bodom, I really enjoyed. The songs "Smile Pretty For The Devil" and "Hellhounds on My Trail" were absolutely spectacular. Alexi Laiho did excellent vocals and Janne Warman did excellent keyboards as well. Overall I really liked this album, so I give it . . .

Scream Aim Fire - Bullet For My Valentine (2008)

I know a lot of people aren't really fans of Bullet ever since they kind of went a bit mainstream and don't like this album as much as their first one, but to tell you the truth I actually quite enjoy this album. There are some great vocals on this record in my opinion. I'm still not sure if I like it as much as "The Poison" album but I do like it. Also considering I saw them live in concert and saying they were awesome adds alot to that. So I give it . . .

They were alright I guess. They played the Mario Bros theme and some lame Brittney Spears songs, but they made those songs at least decent to listen to, haha. Then, after they were through we had to wait like an hour for Buckethead to come out and everybody was getting impatient and I was already really sore from standing for a long time. But then out of nowhere Buckethead walks out from the crowd and onto the stage. Everyone cheered as they saw the guitar genius approach us. He started shredding off his awesome songs with us in amazment. He played songs like Jordan (Of course), The Star Wars theme, The Willy Wonka song "Imagination", Welcome to Bucketheadland, Kookoo Clock from Hell, Plankton and many others. And he put on a great show as well. He did his tricks with his num-chucks and did the robot like really good with those foam finger things. I mean, he was like really good. And he had his roadies all dressed up as these weird but cool people. and They interacted with Buckethead and stuff. Also, Buckethead gave presents out to the crowd from a bag he had up on stage. And he put this big, pink Unicorn up on his table of props. Eventually he just high jumped kicked the Unicorn off the table. He also had thses weird faces on his hands and did ventriliquist thingy with them, haha. And he did all these weird motions and everything, it was an amazing concert and everything. It wasn't as good as the Bullet For My Valentine concert but it was really, really goooood!

also, this past weekend i bought "the best of Manson" CD and Slayer's "Reign in Blood" album. they are both excellent.
HEY! i got an idea! each journal entry i do, i'll have band and song of the week. even if i don't have anyting to say i'll put that up. yay! now, i have something to do on these.
something that sucks is that Rush, Judas Priest, and Iron Maiden are all coming to Washington and my parents won't let me go see them. it's pretty lame. my parents keep me from seeing the best people when they come. i've missed Megadeth, Drowning Pool, Saliva, Collective Soul, the Black Dahlia Murder, and yes, even Ozzy and Rob Zombie. NOOOOOOOOO! haha.
oh, i need to say thanks to Kelsee for always being there for me when i needed someone to talk to and for being such a great friend. love ya Kelsee <3
well, i still have until June 13th before i get out of school. next friday we're going to Maryhill Meuseum for a field trip. everybody says it's boring there, but at least i get out of school. so that's a plus.
