We were uber stocked because the last time we saw them the concert was so awesome. The venue this year was a little scuzzy, but since it was in town it was kind of nice to not have to drive to Seattle.

When we first got there, we went to use the bathroom and there was a man in there. It was actually really fun because Sam and I both did a triple take between looking at the sign and the guy. He apologized and left. We later figured out it was Keith from the Caddies. Of eff we had a love trapped and let him escape. Anyway the opening band was rather terrible. Why they have death metal bands play at ska concerts I will never understand. Most ska/reggae fans aren't into that. The second band was way better. They were really silly and fun to dance too. Then it was time for the Caddies. Oh my gosh we were smack dab in front and I got to look at a delicious Sasha the whole time! They played a really great variety of old and new stuff. The people around us also weren't crazy, which is always a bonus.

As for getting to talk to the band, it's a little hard when you are not 21. We saw Sasha and Chuck go into the bar but were to nervous to approach them before they went in. Sam did get the set list from Sasha and we got to meet Ed outside and he took pictures with us and signed it. Ed is so nice and easy to approach!

So after I got back to school I had to preform on Wednesday for Dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead). It is kind of like a Mexican Halloween. We had been working really hard and spent a lot of prep time on our make-up. Half of our faces were painted like skeletons for the occasion. There was a lot of people and really good food. Our performance went really well except for the part where our music like paused and we just looked at each other. But we recovered so it was ok. Everyone really seemed to like us and we put a good name out for our team. This was our first performance so it was really important to make a good impression.

So now dance is going to have some down time to be really prepped for basketball season, which won't start until after break. School is picking up though so my concentration has to go there.

Move in was rather easy this year because my roommates family was here to help. My roommate is really cool her name is Emily and she is a Freshman finding out about all the wonders of college (like guys trying to get in you pants). We get along really well though. The room I'm in this year is about the same size, but you get a walk in closet. My father didn't understand why I liked it so much.

Anyway classes are going to be a lot of work this quarter. I'm starting my chemistry series and its going to be tough. My teacher is alright since I didn't get the really hard one, but he isn't the best at explaining stuff. Thats what making study groups is all about! It's my last quarter of math and English (hell yes!). Math is just always a bitch. My math teacher is really cool and always stops to ask if we have questions. Problem with Calculus is I never know what to ask, since it is like a bunch of theories, otherwise I so would. Luckily my guy friends are totally geeks (bless their souls I love them) and help me. English again is not hard, just a lot of work. Pretty much the whole class is based around one paper so I just have to do good on that.

Dance Force...I won't even go into that drama with you guys. To put things simply our last captain pretty much fucked us over. But its ok because we fixed it. I'm pretty much a captain along with 2 other girls. We just finished up tryouts and are now a team of 8. We will just be doing side stuff (like the homecoming parade) until basketball season. The good thing is we have a lot of time to work on technique and be ready for basketball season. We really want to step it up a notch this quarter, so I'm super excited.

I'm trying to reach out to new people, but I forgot how hard that can be when you first start classes because there isn't a lot of time to socialize. I don't know what I'm gonna do when Scott and Casey go on foreign exchange next year. Casey will at least be coming back, but Scott will be gone a year and I confide in him for a lot of stuff. I will probably cry. But, I will just focus on making this a great year and not worry about it.

From the beginning everything was exciting for me because the last time I was on a plane I was not even 2 years old. So even at 5 am in the morning, I was the only one excited to get on the plane. In fact I’m pretty sure that I’m the only person who didn’t sleep on the plane. Lol. When I landed in Juneau my friend Anne was waiting for me and I ran up and hugged her. Turns out her house was only like 2 minutes from the airport. For the next 2 days she took me all around Juneau. It is defiantly a small town, but it had and lot of charm and I really liked it. There are lots of cool little shops for the tourists and the main hang out spot is the glacier. It was just breathtaking. I also saw a black bear cub and got to eat at a yummy waffle house.

Then on Monday we had to get up at 4 in the morning to catch a ferry to Haines. Anne was not too thrilled about this, but I was nice and let her sleep some on the ferry. Her new car was so full that we couldn’t see out the back! Her poor dad had to sit back there with all our stuff. The only reason we had so much is because Anne is in the process of moving to Anchorage and started school yesterday, hence needing all her clothes. Unfortunately I didn’t get to see any whales on the ferry ride. When we got to Haines we had some more yummy food at a little restaurant and headed straight through Canada on the Alaskan Highway. It took us until Wednesday night to get to Anchorage, but the drive was just gorgeous. We got to camp at two different lakes. The second night we had a wind fire though, anyone who knows what I’m talking about knows that they really suck.

In Anchorage we stayed at Anne’s cousin’s house because the one she is going to live in is still being built. Anne doesn’t know where that much stuff is in Anchorage so her friend Ross showed us around. He was really nice and fun the hang out with. On Thursday we wanted to surprise my friend Scott because he had no idea I was there, but we couldn’t find him. We were literally at his door but no one answered (we later found out he was too lazy to answer the door and he got a beating lol). Good news is I saw a moose that day. Those things are huge! On Friday we got Scott to ride his bike over to come see Anne, so he finally knew I was there. I think he was kind of in shock and didn’t really know what to say. He was really proud of me for finally going on a plane! Then he took us to flat top mountain where you can see all of Anchorage. On Saturday Scott and Ross took us frolfing (sp?) which is Frisbee golf. I was god awful. Anne was slightly better than me. Scott and Ross both play ultimate Frisbee so they kicked our asses.

Sunday was my last day, so Anne and I drove a few more places before taking me to the airport. That is a pretty rough summary of what happened. I had an amazing time and would love to go back and eventually see the northern lights. I can cross one place off my bucket list now.

1) There are many places I want to travel to: Alaska, Hawaii, Europe, Australia (stromatolites!), Caribbean, Brazil.
2) In general I would just like to take a road trip across America in a car with a few close friends.
3) Make out with a guy in the pouring down rain.
4) Learn how to surf.
5) Always have dancing be a part of my life no matter how small (Janice being my inspiration).
6) Get a job that I wake up in the morning and look forward to.
7) Go out to a real club with some girlfriends and dance my ass off.
8) Own a set of really nice professional water colors.
9) Own a house with a big yard for my dogs (they will be big ones) and fill the house with paintings from said water colors.
10) Contribute in some way to helping the environment as it so desperately needs it.
11) Write a novel (at one point in my life I wanted to be an author).
12) Actually live in a different state for a decent amount of time that isn’t Washington.
13) See the northern lights.
14) Go fishing with my dad in Mexico or Alaska.
15) Go camping with my mom.
16) Swim with some dolphins.
17) Learn how to play an instrument (brass is preferred).
18) Be in a situation where I could use my bird calling skills to signal to my friends where I was.
19) Learn how to tap dance (with the shoes and everything).
20) See the Mariners play in the world series.

I'm pretty much going to be working all summer and will update and post art here when I have to time or am not being lazy. I work for my brothers painting company and I go door to door to try and set up free estimates for him. So in a sense I'm not really selling anything. Yeah, its annoying, but I consider it one step up from being a tellamarketer because I have to guts to actually talk to people face to face. Anyway my brother changed my hours around in hopes that more people would be home, but now I have to drive in rush hour and miss jazz class. I can't complain though because I need some way to earn money. By mid July I will probably be on different hours anyway and can go back to jazz.

I do get to do some fun stuff because I have Thursdays and Fridays off. Last week I got to go night sailing with and her dad. It is was really fun and cool. This week I might get to go dancing with my friend Krista. We will see how it plays out. Well, that's about all for now.

Speaking of that dreaded subject, how is it that every quarter my math teacher get worse? I know I complain a lot, but the math program over here is seriously messed up. But, the science program is so cool it make me want to stay! Anywho, my teacher is a grad student. Ugg, the problem with a student being your teacher is that he is basically a genius, but has no idea how to teach. And I have to take it with this teacher unless I want to drop Geology and there is no way in hell I'm doing that. So I'm toughing it out. I won't start freaking until I fail a test anyway.

Ok, so we got that little math rant out of the way. I'm also finishing up my Biology serious and continuing on with the next part of my Geology serious I started in the Fall. The cool thing about the geo serious is you can start and stop taking it in parts. You don't even have to take it in sequential order. For my major, as of right now, I only need the 1st two parts. See now my sciences teachers are amazing. They are both really smart, but they know how to teach. Probably helps that my geo teacher is head of the department. He gets side tracked so easily that it is funny, but you learn a bunch of cool trivia from him. And yeah sure my bio teacher is hard, but if you actually put some effort into her class you will learn a lot.

Dance team is kind of at a stand still right now. We had a 2 week break before Spring break and then we were suppose to talk about the Spring Show when we came back. Then our captin just randomly cancels this week. My friend Anne and I are really upset because we want to do the show and we are pretty sure she doesnt. It's like why did you offer to take Stephenies place (old captin) if you weren't going to put any effort into it? So Anne and I have started putting pieces together and are going to get everyone together next week and be like: Look. We did all the work for you. Just learn the dances so we can have fun. How can you complain about that? So hopefully that goes alright because I know a couple other people from the team also really want to do the show.

So I'm also learning some other new skills. I have been going rock climbing with Anne and her friend Scott. He's really cool. He tries to help us, but I'm pretty terrible. He's like ridiciously good. Anne and I say its because hes a guy and has all that upper body strength. He can just hang there and decide where to make his next move, girls can't do that!

Oh yeah, Spring Break was fun. I'm officially 19 and it has officially snowed on my birthday two years in a row. WTF. This wheather is like a bad joke and it NEVER STOPS. It snowed like a foot here today and my friend Brandon and I were like: God damn it! We both really want it to be sunny. Not just us though, its everyone. I have so many cute summer outfits I may never get to wear at this point. They are all shoved under my bed because all my winter clothes are still in my closet.

But I like visiting home. I get to see my dance family and real family and of course my bestest friends: and For my birthday we went up to Seattle and visited the aquarium. It was really cool. Then we messed around on the waterfront and Pikes Place. Then we went back to my house and played lots of card games and had pizza and cake. Oh, and I did a magic trick! (Don't be hating cause you can't talk to the spirits like me Sam3.) The next day my mom and I went shopping in Seattle and we had dinner and The Cheesecake Factory with my brother, dad and grandma. It was fun.

My 1st class of the day is English. I really like it because we just sit around and have really in depth dicussions about essays we read. Everyone is really nice and respects each other. We write essays about once every 2 weeks, so that is a lot less then I thought I would be writing. The one I just started brainstorming for is about pointe shoes.

My class is the biggest pain in the ass. My teacher tries, but he really just doesn't know how to teach. It is one of those classes that it is just hard to ask a question in. Any how I formed a study group so I will attempt to not fail. (With cute boys! But we actually study I swear)

I'm taking the course in my Biology series with my same teacher. So all is good there. My lab class is really fun, but a lot of work/research. It will be worth it in the end.

The biggest thing that has happened to me is that I tried out and made it onto my schools dance team. It is a lot different from being a dancer at a studio. We perform at half time at most of the basketball games. And during the game we stand on the sidelines and do 'quickies' when the band plays songs. We are kind of like cheerleaders that where cloths that cover them and can dance really well. Appearently there is a huge show in the Spring that is more what I'm use to, so I'm excited about that.

Everything else is going well. I'm also taking a Latin dancing class that is tons of fun. Oh and The Office right now is hilarious.

It does feel good to be home again. I'm not one of those kids who hates coming home for the holidays. *cough brother* I'm going to see the Nutcracker tonight with my mom. It is going to feel werid seeing it and not being in it. I already paid a visit back to the studio. It took a minute for everyone to recognize me because my hair is so short now.

Stupid snow made me have to reschedule my doctor appointment and I couldn't go get my artwork from my old teacher so now I have to wait until the spring to go get it. Grr. Don't get me wrong I love looking at it, but after a while it just gets annoying.

I got all of my shopping done in 2 days because I'm amazing like that. And I'm working on cards and stuff right now so you can expect to see some art from me after Christmas. Besides that, it is going to be whenever I get any free time at school.

My art updates are coming slowly here and there. Mainly when I'm feeling inspired and not too tired to draw anything. I have to say that I miss art class because that was like an hour a day where you just got to concentrate on art. I really liked that. I don't know if I'm going to take an art class here. I will barley have time to fit in dance (which is like oxygen to me).

Speaking of dance, Swing Class is getting intense. But, it is still fun. I love the music which is always a bonus. I'm learning so much but it is hard for me to do partnering. I have relied on myself for 14 years and now I have to let a guy lead me. My teachers and everyone makes it fun though, so I probably have nothing to sweat. I'm going to a workshop next Saturday taught by a really famous guy who appearently taught some of the winners on Dancing With the Stars.

Tonight is Halloween! I'm going with my room mate to some parties. I'm mainly going to be dancing and mingling, but I know a lot of people go to drink. It doesn't really worry me. I really don't care what others think of me because I can have fun without it. I'm going to be a pirate (costume curtisy of Ashton). Although dancing in the boats will be hard...I can make it work!

I'm really liking most of my classes. Geology is more fun that I thought it would be. Biology actually is us learning about Chemistry so far, which I already know a lot about. My computer class is so easy that it is kinda sad. We just got started with swing dance and it is going to be a lot of fun. There is actually a lot of guys in that class. (Yes!) The only class I'm really hating is math. Mainly because my teacher is kind of an idiot and it is like integrated math. I seriously write paragraphs for homework. What the hell! I learn better the traditional way where you write like the same problem 50 times. No joke.

Everything else is going good so far. The weather is amazing over here. The sunsets are so beautiful too. I think Ashton thinks I'm a freak cause I'm like "Look how cool the clouds look!" lol.

This weekend I got a pet beta fish. (They are the only kind of pets we can have). He is blue with a red stripe. I named him after my fav. character from As The World Turns, Henry Coleman. But, my Henry is actually for energetic and silly. The real Henry is kinda lazy and easy going.

This weekend I performed in a car show and it was a ton of fun. The downside is it was like 90 degrees and my feet burned through my shows. But, :iconThe Chemist57: came and she really like it. We did a cool 50's dance and did the hang jive. Can't get much cooler then the hand jive. Lol.

Then I went over to her house and we walked to a park with all these fountains with childrens. We just stood under them to get cooled down. We didn't even have to push the childrens. We even got Sam2's little emo bro to go in with us. (After much persuading).

I spent the night at her house and we watched tons of movies that includes The Wedding Singer, Aladin, and The Little Mermaid. We used fun comment and catch phrases during the movies like: BIG-A-DEE-BAM! Oh and I learned Sam2 hates characters that make the plot more interesting. (She is gonna kill me for saying that) We also watched a fun work out/dance video and learned some fun new moves. The guy that made it has a total creeper face though. Sam2 didn't think it was as funny as I did cause she was too tired from the work out.

We couldn't even get to sleep cause it was so damn hot. So we went outside and there was like this huge thunderstorm. It was tight dawg. Well until next time.

For those of you who don't know who this suave man is, he is the mentor to the designers on Project Runway. He is one of the main reasons I watch this show. Everybody loves Tim! How could you not? So glad I learned this fact.

So the previous weekend came over to my house and we did all kinds of fun silly stuff. When you put us together this is normally what happens. We watched some episodes of The Office. Sam2 has now seen them all just like me! (What nerds). We also watched No Reservations (cute) and The Sandlot (classic). We also totally watched the big fake dog swallow the ball in slow motion 2 times. LOL. (You know you want to do that now).

Last night me mom and and I saw Mama Mia. It was super funny and just a good movie over all. My mom didn't like the way one of the guy actors sang, but I didn't think he was that bad. I would defiantly recommend this to any musical lovers out there.

That's about it. My weekends are filling up fast. Next weekend I'm going to visit my colleges and plan my schedule. (Squeals of joy).

You see we had a goal. For years my dad and I have been looking for this plane wreck. Everyone kept telling us there was a trail that led right to it, but when we tried to find it there was a big rock wall. Last year I discovered a trail on the map that seemed to dead end...that was kind of a big red sign. It was before the camp ground which is why we could never find it before.

The one mile up hill was a bitch to say the least. Sam and I let my dad go ahead to make sure the plane was even up there first. And it was! I can't not tell you how happy I was to see it. That is a life goal I can check off my list. We also got to do lots of fishing so that was fun. During our hike we obtained a companion that we dubbed Baxter. A black lab like dog who had run ahead of his owners. He was seriously with us for more then a mile.

So overall it was a fun weekend.

So last night was my senior prom and I went with who I now will be calling Sam3. She asked me to write this with exact detail so I'm gonna do my best.

So I spent the majority of my Saturday morning/afternoon doing little things to get ready like my nails and shaving my legs. At 4:00 my mom did my hair, which I can't really describe, but it looked cool. Then I spent like an hour doing my makeup, but I forgot to put in my contacts so I had to wear glasses when I was driving.

Sam3 arrived at my house promptly around 6:00 where we hoped into my car and listened to some Streetlight Manifesto because that was to last decent music we were going to be hearing for a long time. We went to a resturant called the Varsity Grill. The only people there were seriously peeps from our school. This place was also only a block away from the hotel where our prom was at. So we got done a lot quicker then planned. Sam3 had grilled salmon and I had chicken pasta penne. They were tasty. So then we had to waste some time. Our plan was to fool around in the bathroom mirror at the resturant and I actually did have to put on more lip gloss. But then our old evil spanish teacher walked in there and it was so ackward that we just looked at each other then left.

Then we took a long time walking back to my car to also waste more time, but Sam3's an amuture heel wearer so her feet hurt. We saw a sign with a doo doo bird on it and I thought it was strang and Sam3 thought it was cool. Once we got in the car I made Sam3 look on the map to see if the hotel was left or right of the resturant. Once we figured that out I put the CD on 'Better Place Better Time' because that song rocks and we headed out. On the street we saw the devil teacher again! Gah. Then we had to find a place to park. Turns out you have to pay for that and the machine ate 2 of my dollars because it doesn't give change. A van pulled up with a bunch of our vice principals and they didn't even pay. I was like: What the eff?!?

We decided to go in because we saw other students doing so even though we could have stayed in my car and listened to some more ska (I pointed this out later on). Then main entrance to the hotel was beautiful. There was a cool glass shandalier hanging up. Sam3 and I mingled with some of the other student's for a while. After sitting and taking in the surroundings we moved upstairs where to rest of our school was. There were these weriod class creatures in a tank that looked like pokemon. One's name was pip. While waiting to get in Sam3 and I did 2 pretty good high 5's because we are good like that. Finally it was 8:00.

Once inside we did a loop through and were tried to be provoked into voting for Prom King and Queen, but we didn't because we didn't care about it. Let me say that the dance floor was really small. And that sucks for people like me who stay on the edges because we don't want to get in the middle where all the nasty dancing is. There were some tables and good looking desserts too. We got our pictures taken right away when the line was still short. Our course when we had to pose the camera thing was not working right so we had to stand there and have peeps look at us.

Once that was done it was boring for a while because we just had to sit at the tables cause like no one was there yet. The music was really slow and strange but I was really considering going out there. Some of my friends showed up, but they don't dance. Anyway they finally got some ok music going and I dragged Sam3 out there with me so she would stand there ackwardly while I attempted to dance! This is what happened for most of the night. We saw a guy dressed as a Pimp and one time when we were sitting we were attacted by butts cause it was nasty song so we had to move a lot. I also got Sam3 to do the cha cha slide!!!

Later in the night my friend Krista got there so I did a lot more dancing to songs I wouldn't normally try to. The YMCA came on and I like dragged Sam3 on and she did it and smiled (You know you loved it!). One of the best parts was when the DJ was like 'Who likes swing dancing?' And played this awesome jazzy song. I also made Sam3 do this with me even though I don't know how to swing dance. I had more room because all the rap kids weren't on the floor so I could do jazzy stuff.

So on Saturday while I was at ballet two of my friends decorated my car. Here is the funny part. Earlier in the day my Dad had gone shopping and bought a bottle of Wild Turkey and I totally thought my friends put it in there as a joke! They were so confused when I accused them and my Dad was like: Hey's that mine! LOL

Then we saw the musical at my school. It was my second time, but it was still amazing. I love our drama department. Then we had lots of cake and took tons of retarded pics. with my new Flamingo: Ingo. You will see more of her later.

Then on Sunday I went shopping with my brother and mom. I only ended up buying one top and a jacket, but I have others plans for my Birthday money. I also figured out that finding me a prom dress is going to be really hard because I'm so damn picky! Too bad. It is prom and I'm only buying a dress that I love.

Last Saturday I went Contra dancing with my friend Krista. It sounds strange, but is really fun. It is pretty much country dancing to a pattern a whole bunch with different partners. There were guys of all ages, so it was exciting. I got twirled a couple of times, which was great. I plan to do this again soon because I had a blast.

This weekend I went to a really cool zoo with and . We got to see all kinds of cool animal, although there were a bunch of children because of Easter. The weather turned out to be pretty nice. Then Sam2 and I went to see my school's musical: Once Upon a Mattress. It was of course spectacular. Our drama department is very good.

I turn 18 on Saturday! I have to say I am probably more excited about the Streetlight Manifest concert in 9 days! ONLY 9 MORE! You have no idea how long I have been waiting for them to headline. I will be giving plenty of details on this and my B-day soon.

I did learn that my jazz piece for the April show is 3 dances long and I get to be in all 3 of them! I also learned that I have to buy a Fedora hat (cookies to people who know what those are because I didn't), tie, some kind of long sleeve top that is easy to pull on and off, and a sexy black leotard that has lots of straps. I can get the leotard online, but the other stuff is going to take some serious shopping over break. The whole piece is suppose to be sexy though! (I know you love that Sam2)

Anyway, we totally filled my friend's car with packing peanuts and leafs (fake ones)!!! And I don't mean just a few, we had 5 sack fulls. Don't ask where my other friend got these. We also put her car keys in green jello, stole that from The Office. So we get a call at like 8 in the morning and she is trying to be pissed at us, but she can't helped but laugh. You have to appriciate a good prank.

We drove over and all took pictures in the car together. Here is the great part, we totally got stuck in the car and couldn't open any of the doors, so we had to escape from the trunk. LOL. It was actually fun. So what do you all do on Fridays?

So on Saturday I went out with my friend Amy to our other friend April's resturant. The Greek food was yummy. April was of course a wonderful waitress. It was great getting to see them outside of school for a while. April's boss was also really fun. He said he would design a flaming desert for me. (cause I wanted one)

On Sunday I got to see Krista. I had not seen here in forever so that was fun. She did my hair and make up cause she loves doing girly things like that. We went and saw P.S. I Love You. That is a total chick flick by the way, but I loved it. I was totally crying at the end, but so was Krista so it's all good. I love the fact that we are both saps.

You know what though....I MISS MY SKA MEN!!! Bet you weren't expecting that. Well every time I here Streetlight's New CD I wish I could see them in concert SO BAD....or RBF or the Mad Caddies. I want to touch. LOL

I got to see my Sams on Saturday and that was fun. We had some good laughs and I'm really glad I got to see them over the break. I also got to spend a lot with my bro yesterday, which was fun. I'm now in season 3 of The Office and it is quite addicting. I want the opening song as my new ringtone!

On a less happier note and can't help feeling the break up of my friends today. I have totally come to terms with the fact that both April and Krista are being really immature at this point and there is really nothing I can do about it. I have tried to explain that life is so short and that stupid stuff like what happened should not have split up a friendship that was suppose to be so strong. Whatever. There is really nothing I can do now. I just can't help thinking that this time last year we were toasting in Krista's kitchen to how we would always be friends.

To be totally honest though, I probably would have enjoyed a ska concert more. You just don't get the same vibe and stuff. It's not like I would ever have a chance to see, meet, and talk to Dane Cook like I did with Ed from the Mad Caddies. I guess that is the up side to liking bands that aren't famous.

And then there was the whole friend situtation that has never really gone away. It is so dumb at this point I'm a little feed up with both April and Krista. (Krista didn't go to the show by the way). Travis was a total ass to her. He wrote all this shit about her on his myspace saying how she wasn't taking any of the blame for what happened and that all of her emotions were fake and silly. He said in high school you are suppose to date lots of people. That made my blood boil. That fucktard. I also had to sit next to him at the show. Fun times.

Amy isn't even mad at him like me. She said Krista overexagerates a lot. About what? Her feelings. Never. But then again Krista is like: April probably helped him write it. When she had no idea he even said those things, but she herself won't appologise to Krista or tell her anything that is going on! She is actually trying to go out with a complety different guy. So my bro and his girlfriend invited us to go see Enchanted with them, so we agreed because lets face it, TheChemist57 and I have no life outside of our Ska loves.

We ended up getting to the theater kinda late and the show was soled out. My brother was excited about not being dragged to the movie so he suggested we see Beowulf. My stupid best pal agreed. She liked the story when we were forced to read it in school. Jess (bro's girlfriend) and I didn't want to see it, but agreed because there was nothing else good to see.

I can not begin to describe how dumb this movie was. I really want my money back it was such a waste. Grendel, which was the only reason TheChemist57 wanted to see this, looked like an ubber retarted Gaulem (sp?). He was so ugly. And they totally sexed it up and made it a man movie. Beowulf thought it was necessary to be naked for every fight. Don't asked me why? And Grendel's mother who is suppose to be this bad ass monster is this sexy naked women.

Needless to say TheChemist57 and I were disapointed, but did find most of the movie funny. Not funny enough to waste my money mind you. We were seriously about to pee our pants at some parts. This one guy talked in monotone the whole time and thought he was cool. LOL

HELL YES! Honestly it is so amazing I have trouble finding words to describe it. The songs and lyrics are both incredible. Thomas (lead singer who wrote them) is so deep. It will take me a while to comprehend/ know all of the lyrics, but I love that. This band is such an amazing artist.

Friendship. Trust. Dependability. It's kinda hard for me to define those right now. My greatest circle of friends. The four amigas. Who stick to things threw and threw. Gone. Just like that. Wanna know why? Because of a stupid boy. How fucked up is that? It is like some stupid high school drama would we laugh at and mock. Guess what? I'm living that now.

Here's the story. My friend Krista was dating this guy named Travis. Travis is a friend of April and Amy who I have recently meet. Here's the good part: April is the one that sets these two up. We all go to Homecoming and get Travis to dance with Krista. Everything is going great. Then April just decides that she has feelings for Travis and tells him this, after she is the one who set them up. Oh what? Travis likes April better then Krista. What the hell? Krista is in tears right now and broke up with him. Our friendship will never be the same. Amy and I are in the middle with no control. I'm so angry at April, but she sits right next to me in history. What am I suppose to say? Here's where the masks come in. Fun, isn't it? Never again will we be together.

It may sound mean, but I wish Travis didn't go to Curtis. Or never went there, but I know he isn't the one to take all the blame. I feel like somebody possesed April. I thought she was the type of person who wouldn't do this. I feel like I have been stabbed in the back repeatedly, and I'm not even Krista.

Here's another fun fact to make my life even better. They guy who plays our Nutcracker Prince is like gone. He hasn't showed up to rehersal in like 2 weeks. So much for loyalty. Luckly we have Tim there to replace him. Whoot.

I went to our assembly for the 1st time. (They are like 2 hrs. long and we have them at night, so normally I don't go cause of my rehersals). It was a fun experience as a Senior. Lets face even if we lost all the games, at the end they would still be like Seniors win! LOL. They were like ' Please stop booing at the Sophomores '. You know what that is part of being at the bottom. I had to go threw it as a sophomore. One of our cheer boys got dropped though, and it ripped one of the legiments in his leg. I felt bad because I sat next to him in Chemistry last year and he was really nice to me.

We did lose our football game though. We were playing our rival team and we are not that good this year so I kinda figured that might happen, but the game was still fun.

The actual dance was great because nearly all of my friends were there. I danced pretty much the whole time. I really got into the beat of a few songs. Bad part, the music was the WORST this year. Last year they actually played some cool oldies and stuff. This year it was straight up rap the whole time. Oh well. That's what ska concerts are for. Oh wait: All the band I wanna see are in Australia! Curse you.

We get to start Snow on Saturday, which is my fav. song from the Nutcracker so I am really excited. Flowers is so good this year. I feel like I say this ever year, but this year seriously is my favorite. My teacher has split the cast and made some girls short tutus. There is room to dance!! The moves are challenging, but not impossible and still fun to do. No word on when I start Mother Ginger rehersals, but I'm really excited about it.

Homecoming week is next week. Yes! I made sound like a preppie, but I really do like my school and love getting to dress up. They theme is kinda dumb and totally unoriginal though, Royal Courts. I'm suppose to be a damsel. Damsel!!! You know you insulting that is to women? The stupid L-ship class who thought up this 'cool' idea gets to be kings/queens. Naturally. I'm still excited though.

The actual dance will be fun cuase I'm going with my home dogs. (There are 4 of us all together). We all asked one guy cause he is our friend. In reality he really likes our friend Krista, but was too shy to ask her, hence all of us asking him. Alas I'm a third wheel with Amy and April, but it will still be fun. I love to dance. Even though the music won't be ska, I dance to tons of other stuff. I can stand it for a few hours.

My very last Nutcracker parts have been posted!!

I will be staring as Mother Ginger for all 6 SHOWS. That's right guys. Normally I only do 4, but this year 6. Exciting seeing as it is my last year. Can't think about that now. I'm going to be crying so bad at my last show.

I was also going to be in Kingdom of Sweets, but there isn't enough time for me to change appearently into my Mother Ginger costume. (Please who does Jo think I am? I change from a sexy sea siren to a swashbuckling pirate in under 2 mins!) No, but really the dress takes like 5 mins. to put on.

Of course I will also be in Snow and Flowers. We just started Flowers and I'm loving it so much! Very challenging, but that is good for me.

I would also like to say that I watched Footloose for the 1st time last night. Sad isn't it? I know the song by heart. I have to say that Ren is a total hottie. I can relate to him so well. If I had been in his situation, I would have done the same thing. (Screw the world, I just wanna dance!!!!)

Pretty much the best love song ever. I love it! I'm such a sap.

This song is pretty much say screw the world and just dance/have fun. I love it because when I'm really angry I do dance to let out my emotions.

Wanna know what your feeling. If you're feeling alone. Wanna hear that you still care. The last time I remember you was the last time I wasn't scared.

Not only is this one of the 1st M.C. songs I ever heard, it is one of my fav. songs by them. It's about a poor guy that is lost without his girl. Seriously the lyrics are beautiful.

4. Villains- Mad Caddies
I hear the rumor mill is turning. To try and stop it is a waste of time.

The 1st lyrics kinda say it all. It about how quickly rumors spread and their damage. It also has great horn parts.

5. The New Version of You- Reel Big Fish
When did you quit pulling all of the stops for me? And when did you 110% become under 50%?

A song about a person completely changing themselves, for the worse. I have seen this happen to a lot of good people. It is really sad when you think about it.

6. Beer- Reel Big Fish
And if I get drunk well I'll pass out on the floor now baby. And you won't bother me no more.

I would never really drink myself drunk, but a lot of people experience this. A guy getting drunk because his girlfriend is such a bitch. The song is really catchy.

7. Where Have You Been?- Reel Big Fish
You say you love me. Love me again. But, if you love me. Where have you been? You say you need me more then anyone else. Well, go the hell! Where have you been?

This song is good to let off anger if you are feeling ignored. It is also really beautiful and sad at the same time. The live version kicks so much ass because of the rockin' horn solos.

8. Just One More- Mad Caddies
No necesito la vida rica. Estoy contento contigo. ( I don't need the rich life. I'm happy with you).

Yes! 3 years of Spanish come in handy. The lyrics spell it out again. You don't need material objects to be happy, just people that love you.

9. Point/Counterpoint- Streetlight Manifesto
And every time I make a point she makes a counterpoint. She said it's easy but in the end I have no choice. And you know that's sorta just the way that it goes.

This song is just so damn good, I can't find words to express it.

10. A Moment of Silence- Streetlight Manifesto
So, how long do you think you can go before you lose it all? Before they call you buff and watch you fall. I don't know but I like to think I had control. At some point I just let it go and lost my soul.

A song about outsiders and what others think about them. You couldn't be with them and be true to yourself. Another just amazing song. Streetlight kicks so much ass.

We did tons of fishing, but we didn't really catch that many. Dakota Spirit got to try out paddling a canoe, which TheChemist57 helped her with. I got a really nice tan in the warm sunshine and of course there was plenty of smores at night. A great way to end the summer.

Today was my 1st day of school for my Senior year. My first class is PreCal, in which I think I'm the only Senior. (mostly Juniors take that class). The teacher is really nice though. My second period is a dance class that I have with my friend Katie, which is going to be loads of fun. My 3rd period I was enthused to find my friend April had with me. Our History teacher is really funny! My 4th period is art, were I didn't know anyone, but that is ok cause I love art class. Then I have lunch, which none of my good friend have. I sat with my other friend Nick and his friends were really nice to me though. Then I have English with my old English teacher who has a new last name since she got divorced. I was really happy to see her cause I really like her. Then I have early D. and I go work in my mom's classroom (she teachers 4th grade).

All in all it was a good 1st day back. I hope you guys had good 1st days as well.

On Friday I got to spend a lot of time with my bro who was building a table for his girlfriend for her Birthday. It turned out really cool! I think my brother and I get along better since he moved out. Sounds mean I know, but when you get space from people sometimes you get a long with them better. I think he gets all the stupid boy out of his system in where he lives and then he is partially normal by the time he sees me.

On Sunday my two friends and I went to go check out some colleges. The weather was gorgeous! I found a college that I really like and will probably be going to. I just got back today and surprisingly it is sunny right now at my house. Nice change from the shitty rain we have been getting all summer.

The hike back....I'm not gonna lie it was misarable. Have you ever been inside a cloud before? Well I have. And it was a rain cloud. That wasn't even the worst part. I must have hurt my right foot on the hike up there, cause it hurt to even put pressure onto it. I had to limp 9 miles. I have never been so happy to see my Dad's truck. He felt the same. Even my dog was happy to see it!

All in all I think it was still worth it to see the beauty of nature. You guys look at my pics. and tell me if you think it was worth it. One good thing about the rainy summer we have been having (can't believe I'm saying this!) was that the wild flowers were spectactular. Right now I can't move my legs. Skipping jazz tonight. I love that class!

You see one of my close friends, named April might be moving AGAIN. She moved around this time last summer, but it was a good move. Her mother finally dumped this loser she was dating and started a new life and a wonderful new home. April was kinda far from school (15-20mins tops), but she still made it work.

My friend Amy and I just called her to make plans for today, since Amy has been gone camping. She told us the house is costing too much money and that they might be moving to this place far away. It would be like 30 mins. from school using the freeway! It is our Senior year and April will probably not be with us. FUCK!!! She helps me get threw the days. She makes me laugh when I really need it. It is bad enough my friend Krista does full time running start student. I was so sad when I wouldn't see her as much. She is like the mom of our group, but she is still only like 5 mins. from us and she comes to lunch a lot.

It's not her fault, or her mom's really. Housing is expensive in this area. It's just that life sucks so bad sometimes. My mom said I shouldn't get to worked up yet, since nothing is decided yet. I can't help it. Change is in the air. I felt this change as soon as we had to move out of our old dance studio. I wasn't on DA at that time. It was a really emotional time for me. It made me realize that you can't stop change. I thought I would be able to come home from college and go there, not now! Some people are greedy assholes. Just like the people that took away my studio and the guy who wants to sell April's house.

On Friday night I went to see Hairspray with my mom.OMG. It has had so much hype, and it deserved it. This movies is simply amazing. From the plot, characters, acting, songs and dances, all spectacular! My mom said she thought it was even better then Grease, which is like one of her favorite movies. I totally recommend seeing this. No...I'm telling you go see it. Now! I'm probably going to see it again with this weekend. My mom will probably drag my poor father to see it with her again some time soon.

Ok, second movie. On Saturday I saw the new Harry Potter movie with my dad. Now I absolutely hated the 3rd one, and the 4th one was alright, but this new one is so much better then both of them. It actually follows the book very close, and leaves in all of the important stuff. The fight scene at the end could have been a little better, but I'm not complaining too much. Any fan of HP will love this movie if you didn't like the other 2 that much, like myself.

When I was visiting with my family I got to see my two younger cousins (technically 2nd cousins). They are so cute! Opposite personalities; Zach (5) is somewhat shy, but still well behaved, Ryan (about 2) is very outgoing, but not as well behaved (probably because he is younger). Anyway, their mother (my 1st cousin) is getting married in Sept. and I'm going to be a bridesmaid in her wedding. I got to see what the dress looks like. It is a simple red dress with black stripes. Hope everyone else is having a good summer.

While waiting in line for 1 ½ hours (The opening time got pushed back), we had the pleasure of seeing the lead singer, Chuck, and the trombone player, Ed. That made us really happy! wishes she would have waved, but she would make up for that later.

So normally at this club we stand in the upper section above the skank/mosh pit, but this show was somewhat empty. After the opening band we decided to be brave and go stand MUCH closer to the band. My neighbor, who was also there suggested that we stand in the front left hand corner, so we could still be really close and not get mauled in the pit. What wonderful advice!!!!

In the opening Mr. Ed played his trombone RIGHT in my face, which I enjoyed very much.Then Chuck was right in front of and she touched his arm! The guitar player, Sascha stood right in front of us the whole time. I'm not gonna lie, I found him to be quite attractive. They played all of our favorite songs and an on-core, because we are so cool.

Then at the end of the show, Sascha stuck his hand out into the crowd and I touched it!!! *SQUEAL*. I was really happy about that. What makes me even more happy is when we were leaving the show, we saw Ed (trombone) sitting in this little area, and I GOT HIS AUTOGRAPH! Yes! He shook my hand too!

So pretty much last night was amazing. agrees with me!
