I have recently finished the first page of

and I big project.
We still need a title, this is where u can participate, ideas, suggestions are more than welcome. We need a techie, starcraft title for this one, and will use one for the final version...

More things,i think that a cover would be nice to add, just to have some fun, i will try to make one, but im thinking on something like a contest for this part, will tell you more soon.

Como podeis observar

y yo ya tenemos las lineas casi casi definitivas para la primera pagina del proyecto que nos traemos entre manos.

Pero todavida necesitamos varias cosillas, lo primero y mas importante me vino a la mente cuando iba a colgar la pagina.... wtf!! el titulo!!! asi que cualquier sugerencia es bienvenida, mas que nada porque hay que buscar un titulo wapo techie y demas que le pegue.

La segunda cosa es ya que todos sois unos artistazos, vendria bien una portada para la historia, esta claro que aun no sabeis todo sobre la misma, pero os podreis hacer una idea si os digo zerg, terran, starcraft... verspeno... Asi que id preparando los pinceles, porque posiblemente hagamos alguna especie de concurso o similar para la portada, nose algo se nos ocurrira.

Esperamos que os guste,ahora mismo arkiniano debe estar metido en su taller de gnomos coloreadores dandole las primeras pinceladas al recien horneado trabajo..

A la hora de valorar los dibujos lo hemos hecho 4 personas (yo y 3 amigos mas) al final hemos valorado 3 aspectos (originalidad 50%, tecnica 30%, concepto 20%) Como os puse al hacer el concurso lo que queria es que buscarais nuevos limites, explorarais cosas que no estais habituados, y por eso lo hemos valorado mas que nada. Evidentemente el resultado es subjetivo, y ha sido la suma de las notas de cada uno de nosotros en cada apartado, notas que se han puesto en funcion del criterio de cada uno.

Asi pues el maximo en Originalidad serian 5 puntos, en Tecnica 3 puntos, y en Concepto 2 puntos. Como he quitado dos categorias (mas que nada porque no eramos lo suficientemente objetivos y entendedores todos como para valorarlas justamente) habra dos premios mas. Uno sera el dibujo que mas me haya gustado, porque yo lo valgo sin mas criterio,el otro porque ha habido un empate en segundo puesto y creo que es mas justo asÃ.

Enhorabuena a los ganadores, y gracias a todos!!

The entries are closed, i think i have reached a good number of draws, and im more than pleased with ALL OF THEM, specially for the time that you guys have spend doing them.

I would like to say that is more than i would have spected, and the main reason of doing the contest was to give something back to the people that used to watch and comment, and support my draws. You guys are the best!

THE CONTEST
Theme will be free, free like a bird! yup! i only want one thing from you, make something different, explore new styles, drawins, colors, .... thats gonna be the main issue to be judged.
Of course the draw must be a new one, so in order to prevent the cheats, it must have integrated in some way anything related to my draws (u can change forms, lines, colors, to fit to your work)

No restriction,just the usual ones, dont want porn or things like racism, intolerance, ... bla bla bla , can be digital, traditional .. no matter how u work, u can participate.

DeadlineThe first week of september, im sure most of you have works,holidays,childs, or whatever, so almost 2 months for make an entry its enough time. Ill not extend the deadline, this wouldn't be a serious contest then. Will make this contest although with only 2 entries, everyone deserves the recognition for his works.

PricesI have the usual subscriptions in mind + some draws + prints... and more. Depends on where the winners live, i ll be able to change one price for another.
There will be 3 winners + one for each judging category + one given by my own choice.

JudginWill have at last 4 judging the entries, and each one giving his opinion plus notes for each category, for each entrie.

Bueno, antes que nada querria agradeceros el apoyo, como siempre es un gustazo. Siempre he querido hacer un concurso para premiar el trabajo de los que normalmente estamos por estos lares, asi que he pensado en aunar varias cosas. Una de ellas es nuestro primer concurso!!

EL CONCURSO

Tema El tema sera libre! libre como el viento! Lo unico que quiero de vosotros es que seais originales, que exploreis nuevos estilos a los que normalmente estais acostumbrados, colores, formas , vamos que sea ante todo un reto para buestros cerebros. Va a ser lo que mas valoremos a la hora de elegir los ganadores.

The poll is clear, the vampire, gothic, ... theme won, so here we go!

The idea is, for each category draw:

- More than 5 chars ( trying to give them their own personality,gadchets, clothes...)

- More than 5 places,habitats, caves....

- More than 2 landscapes or scenes

- At last 1 illustration combining something from the top.

I'll need a lot of time to complete it, but i think this could be a nice idea to improve the drawing/desing skills. Im open to suggestions ^^

Como podeis ver un poco mas abajo he puesto una encuesta nueva, la idea que tengo en mente es hacer un proyecto nuevo, algo grande y que tenga un poco de todo, sobre todo para no encasillarme y hacer cosas mas dificiles cada vez. Esas cuatro opciones son las que mas me gustan, seguramente haga todas, pero hay que empezar concentrandose en alguna. Ahi estais vosotros para darme una pista por cual empezar.

Por cada categoria voy a dibujar:

- Mas de 5 personajes, cada uno con su personalidad, objetos y ropas

- Mas de 5 Habitaciones/Refugios/... acorde con la personalidad de los personajes.

- Mas de 2 Escenarios o paisajes, que reflejen el mundo donde se desarrolla todo

- Al menos 1 Ilustracion combinando parte de lo anterior

Estoy seguro que necesitare muchisimo tiempo para conseguirlo, pero paciencia me sobra,y ganas tengo. Creo que sera un buen reto para mejorar. Estoy abierto a cualquier sugerencia. ^^

Un montoncito de novedades este mes, primero me he mudado a un piso nuevo, asi que muchisimo trabajo y poquisimo tiempo, a eso le aÃ±adimos que ademas tengo el pc roto (se me fue la fuente de alimentacion) ha sido un mes raro... todos mis dibujos en el disco duro y aun nose si los habre perdido (creo que no pero nuse aun) a ver si lo arreglo. Por otro lado tengo buenas noticias, tengo una nueva tableta, una wacom bamboo en a5, aun estoy probandola con el portatil, es panoramica y me cuesta adaptarme, supongo que es cuestion de tiempo. Y para mas inri me comprao una bici nueva, que ya tenia mi BH medio muerta [link] un moustruoooooo wo, tengo muchas ganas de probarla, esta misma tarde dare un paseo para adaptarme y no caerme en el monte con ella... deseadme suerte.

En cuanto pueda pondre varias cosillas y dibujos k llevo en el disco duro pendiente, a ver si arreglo el pc

Estaba un poco cansado del anterior estilo que tenia, y me he dedicado un par de horitas a cambiarlo, he buceado y aprendido algunas cosillas, y basicamente al final he cambiado solo la imagen de cabecera y los colores. Me encanta como se ven ahora, espero que os guste a vosotros tambiÃ©n.

Ultimamente me he sentido identificado con el pinguino, y creo que me lo quedare para siempre como mascota/avatar. Que elegantes ^^

Cortesia de mi amigo Drakkon,y como no fiel a mi promesa me comprometo publicamente a hacerle un dibujo.Por lo que me ha dicho serÃ¡ una segunda version de su personaje .... con varios cambios sustanciales el tipo ahora es mas "machote" ^^ Ya ire avanzando el trabajillo

Creo que es un numero significativo,realmente aunque todos tengamos ese tipo de numeros como anecdotas a todos nos gustan.Quizas sea nuestra condicion de mortales las que nos hace quere dejar rastro en la memoria de los demas con nuestras "obras" y "actos" y perpetuarnos asi en el tiempo.
Espero que en cierto modo mis dibujos sirvan para eso, pero sobre todo que me sigan divirtiendo a la vez que aprendo poco a poco.... ya sabeis ... "practica practica practica....".

Solo puedo prometer que llegarÃ¡n mÃ¡s ^^

Por eso a aquel que me pase una screen del Kiriban 5000 le hare un dibujo totalmente exclusivo y dedicado (con los mejores de mis esfuerzos) a su eleccion (personajes, fondos, etc etc etc) dependiendo de la complejidad tardare mas o menos, pero serÃ¡ realizado si o si ^^

Ale espero que alguien lo caze, seria una lastima que se perdiera en el olvido un numero tan bonito.

Well i think that the number deserves it,the thing i like most in this page is the people apreciating what u do (altough u maked it for pleasure) sometimes u still draw because of that support, and im obliged to be grateful for that. So what a better way than celebrating such a number, the 5000.

Thats why i will do an exclusive draw (colored or not) at the will of the one who give me a screen of the kiriban.I't will be an original digital and dedicated draw.

Realmente sera la mas dificil, puesto que es una escena entera a pagina completa.La idea es colorearlas todas, asi que tengo un trabajo extra por delante,pero eso hara que el comic merezca aun mas la pena.

He tenido que probar varias cosillas, y habrÃ¡ otras que las ire mejorando,en lo referido a las imagenes que puse de fondo sobre todo (por darle un toque mas trabajado al asunto),simplemente mi objetivo era dar un poco de brillo al journal.

Y bueno!,antes de todo,voy a ver si me pongo con el comic que estoy haciendo a pachas con Drakkon (que es un maquina escribiendome los guiones) serÃ¡ duro pero hay que echarle ganas, y ahora mismo creo que de eso me sobra, ya ire poniendo el progreso segun vaya teniendo algo mas consistente.
Solo comentar que el nuevo careto del journal es uno de los personajes principales

Well as u can see i have changed a bit the journal style,mainly because the first i did was a bit rushed.This time i spend a bit of time reading some tutorials about the css thingies,specially this one of

I have try some fonts and distribution issues, and altough i ll change a bit the background pics (ill refine them a bit more), i think this will be the definitive look.

Well! first of all i want to start seriously with my first comic.My friend Drakkon wrote the first pages scripts,and they are fantastic, just hope i could draw them like they worth.
Just to advance, the new Journal's header face is one of the main chars.He's name is Angren, and you can take a look at some draws i did time ago.

Dentro de poco empiezo mi primer proyecto,espero que el animo y la paciencia aguanten conmigo, y que vosotros veais el resultado.

Me han regalado de todo

, bueno algunas cosillas.

Para mi guitarra un pedal multiefectos, y un libro+cdrom para novatos (like me). Un poco de ropa (como se nota que no renuevo el armario que ya me tienen que regalar la ropa). La camiseta del Athletic de Bilbao!! wohee!!!! (aupa athletic por cierto) y una tarjeta regalo del MediaMarkt con 50Â (cortesia de mis compis+jefe).

Lo mejor por supuesto la sensacion de ser un dia especial, que pasen los aÃ±os que pasen me encanta disfrutar.

A ver si hago alguna fotillo.

OK, today is my birthday, well not exactly it was yesterday. I need to update my age im 27 now. I think i love that number since i was child.If i could i wouldn`t grow anymore. I know its imposible, but maybe with much effort......

I ll start my first project soon, just need a lot patience,and of course all of your support,to see it finished.

I had a lot of presents.

For my new guitar, a multieffect pedal and a book+cdrom (for newbies like me). Some clothes (its long time since i dont buy anything). The official "Athletic de Bilbao" jersey, and a GiftCard with 50Â to spend at MediaMarkt (thats my boss and m8 present).

The best thing so far was to enjoy a special day,i love those days year after year.
