Went to the Emergancy room today with major pains and very limited wrist/hand movement. Apparently I have a form of carpal tunnel (sorry for the mis-spelling). i don't need surgery or anything (thank goodness) but I have to rest my wrist for a minimum of at least a week. I am also on some type of steroid anti-inflamatory and some strong pain meds.

Anywho, I just wanted to let you all know that I won't be on here for at least a week. My doctor ordered me to no computers, no video games, no heavy lifting, no writing, ect. So if I don't reply to you I'm not ignoring you, I'm just following doc's orders and trying to heal.

In other news, my wrist has been killing me for the past three weeks. I have no idea what the heck is going on there but I want it to stop! Gawd, I feel like an old woman complaining because the weather is causing her bones/joints to hurt!

Speaking of being old; I turn a year older this coming tuesday!
It's funny; when I was born I got released on xmas day and the nurses put me in a big stocking and gave me to my parents. I still tease my mom and dad that I was either the best or worst xmas gift they ever got!

UPDATE!!!
Ubisoft kindly sent me the codes to unlock the 3 special levels! Hooray! I must admit I liked the Medici level the best. I don't know why but Lorenzo yelling with a sword makes me snicker like a fool! Also, I unlocked the Altair costume so i am replaying the game with Ezio wearing it. The cut-scenes are more amusing to me now that he looks like Altair and sounds like Ezio. Can't wait to get to the horserace to see Alty/Ezzy have their "private riding lesson"!

My PS3 is working again!!! That is so far...*knock on wood*. I had to do a quick restore of the system and so far it seems to be working. Lost all my save game info but that is okay by me! I'd rather lose that info and have a working machine than pay $150 to fix a broken machine! And, oh darn, I'm gonna have to play both Assassin's Creed I and II over again....

Lots of projects to work on as well so I'll be doing a lot of that here soon. Need to catch up on my Live by the Creed contest entries and start writing those stories I promised! Don't worry my friends, I have not forgot you...I'm just slow and easy to distract!

Also, to those of you who have been favoriting my work and writing nice comments I say Thank you very much! I promise I will write you all a proper thank you in the future!

The game won't load.

I try again. Still nothing. Tried a different game. Nothing. DVDs and BlueRay work fine. Try another game. Nothing. Finally an error message comes up. Says Error 8003051E. Look that up and apparently it has something to do with the hard drive not communicating with the save feature and could also lead to hard drive failure.

Seriously? Freaking SERIOUSLY?!?!?!

Of all the times it desides to fricken crap out. We've had it over 2 years with no problems and we take good care of it. Keep it clean, watch so it doesn't overheat, ect. And now, NOW it breaks down?!?!?

I don't know if I should scream or cry.....

Anyway, I'm watching it and it gets to the part where Medici and another man are asking Giovanni what he has heard. I look at the unnamed guy and all of a sudden my brain decides to kick in and work! I literally jump in my seat and point at the screen and said, "Oh my gawd! It's the Templar that betrays Giovanni and has him hanged!!! I can't believe I didn't realize it sooner! Also, here is some food for thought that also popped in my head (not that I necessarily believe it myself, just some fun conspiricay theory).
Has anyone compared Uncle Mario to Al Mualim? Could he possibly betray Ezio like Al Mualim betrayed Altair? I don't know which of the brothers, Mario or Giovanni, is older but could it be that Mario, out of jealousy for being passed over as "the favored son/master assassin" because he doesn't have the same power as Giovanni (like say, Eagle Vision to read Altair's codex) so he uses Ezio to run and do his errands/dirty work like Al Mualim did to Altair only to then stab him in the back? Could that explain why he didn't come to his brother's rescue?
Also, (and it is a reach just like the rest of this hypothesis) if you look at Al Mualim and Uncle Mario they both have an injured eye. Granted the injury is to opposite eyes, but it is still there like a mirror image.
Finally, I looked up the name Mario and what it means. The baby name book I saw it in translated Mario as Uncertian, bitter.
How curious!

So I am sitting in the computer room doing some art stuff and my husband is in our living room watching T.V. All of a sudden I hear the song'Genesis' by Justice (you know, the wicked awesome song in the AC II video) playing in the room my husband is in. Thinking that they are finally playing AC II commercials I get really excited. I jump up from my chair (knocking it over and scaring the crap outta my poor pet chinchilla) and proceed to run to the living room. My poor neighbors downstairs probably thought a herd of buffalo were on stampede! Anywho, when I finally get there and see the commercial I am crushed. It is not a commercial for the new AC.....but for the game DJ Hero. So I curse loudly, "You mother f*ckers!!!" My husband looks at me confused so I sheepishly tell him, "I thought it was an Assassin's Creed commercial....." He laughs hysterically at me and then informs me as to what a big dork I am. He then goes on, laughing with tears in his eyes, "I wish I could get you as excited as Assassin's Creed does!" Needless to say, I was a bit embarrassed. :lmoa:

I'm thinking of writing a blog on my Live by the Creed journal. I am really getting sick and tired of all the whining and complaining a lot of the members are doing there and I just want to vent. I might eventually put it here but I dunno. What do you think?

In happier news, I am currently working on the family invite mission for Live by the Creed. I am super excited about it (since I feel as though I failed epicly at the family crest...I was confused ). There is going to be lots of symbolism in it and it will be based off of the Doges crest. Also, when I post it on here I will have a bit of a contest! The first person to correctly identify all (or most) of the symbolism will get a free art piece drawn or story written for them! Woohoo! Don't worry, it won't be as hard as it sounds!

Also, got some art/story ideas I may or may not work on. So, I'll put a list up at the bottom here and if any of you think they look interesting and want to attempt them feel free to do so!

Anywho, my computer seems to finally be working again and I decided it was time for me to make my long over-due reappearance and explain my disappearance.

As noted earlier, I have been having major computer issues. I know some of you will say, "Just get a new comp" but unfortunately my hubby and I don't have the money for it. I have been sick a lot (explained later) and not working so money is tight and luxuries like a new comp are out of the question right now.

Also, as stated above, I have been sick a lot lately. Constant sinus infections, dealing with the effects of having high cholesterol, fatigue, physical therapy for muscle problems in my legs and back pain, and the big one...my depression. It has really kicked into high gear lately and I feel my self worth slowly and steadily slipping away.

I have been really depressed with this vicious circle of failure, no job, sick all the time, crap computer. I think the worst part is that it seems no matter how hard I try I always fail. I feel.….worthless.

But I digress.

I want to say thank you to all the people who have written me nice comments and have worried where I was and how I am doing. It means the world to me and allot of you have shown more care and concern then my IRL friends (not that I don't consider you my friends, because you are my friends, I just mean the people who I hang out with). I love you all and thank you for everything.

To Tenshi,
I am sorry I abandoned you and left you to run the guild by yourself. I know things were out of my control but I still feel extremely guilty. It wasn't fair and it wasn't right and I am so sorry I burdened you with all this responsibility. You are a wonderful person and a fantastic Guild Master. I guess I could say you are the 'Master' Guild Master! I am so glad we met on 1191ad and became such good friends. You mean the world to me and I thank you for putting up with my sorry butt.

To the members of Visionary Assassins,
I am sorry I deserted you as a Guild Master. I do not deserve the title of ‘master’…..I would say I’m more of an ‘Abbas’ than anything else. You all are a wonderful and creative people and I hold you all and your artworks close to my heart.

This all being said, I have decided to relinquish my title of Guild Master of Visionary Assassins. I do not feel as though I have earned/upheld that title and what it means to be a Guild Master. However, I still want to be a part of Visionary Assassins and help Tenshi out to the best of my abilities doing duties like I did before. That is if she wishes to have me help out. Tenshi has every right to tell me to go take a hike after what I have put her through. I am leaving this in her hands as she is the true Guild Master of Visionary Assassins. Always has been, always will be. I just feel that like Altair (not to sound corny) I need to be dropped back down to the rank of novice and earn my title, not just expect to have it no matter what.

Finally, I want to say congratulations to Nevar23 and Rusty002 for becoming the newest Guild Masters of Visionary Assassins! I am so proud of you and I know in my heart you will make fantastic Guild Masters. Tenshi was wise in choosing you and I wish you both the best of luck in this new endeavor!

Definitely would have to be Salice on this one. She has many life experiences and knows much of the biological world and it’s workings…..plus, Jamsey is just a kid so I doubt he has learned everything he needs to know!

He is definitely hot! He has spiky bluish hair (dyed), chestnut brown eyes that twinkle with mischief, a killer smirk, cream colored skin, average height, muscular build and an overly played act of dramatic chivalry that makes the noble women swoon.

3) 12 (Chattel) sends 8 (Arik) on a mission. What is it and does he/she/it succeed?
Hmmm, she would probably send him on a mission to reunite her with her master whom she has been kidnapped from. Arik would most certainly succeed because he is one of a race of great warrior knights who doesn’t know the meaning of failure. The only way that his mission wouldn’t be successful is if he got to know her and (against his better judgment) got feelings (friendship or otherwise) for her and decided that he did not want to return her to the slavery of a harem.

4) What is, or would be, 9's (Rusalka) favorite book?
Some book on male bashing or hating men because she hates all men except her son.

5)Would it make more sense for 2 (Hoodwink) to swear fealty to 6 (Jamsey), or the other way around?
Probably for Jamsey to swear fealty to Hoodwink because Hoodwink is older, wiser and could protect him better. BUT Hoodwink would be very loyal to Jamsey and not take Jamsey’s allegiance lightly.

6) For some reason, 5 (Sibuna) is looking for a roommate. Should they share a studio apartment with 9 (Rusalka), or 10 (Aislin)?
Definitely Aislin because Sibuna’s owner is friends with her…..plus Sibuna is a male jackal and Rusalka hates ALL males.

Probably a nearby seedy pub with gambling. Hoodwink and Lupe would be too preoccupied with swindling patrons of their money to hold a conversation while Chattel would be asking them a million dumb questions of what they are doing.

Aislin would decline and instead read Chimera fairytales and feed him candies.

Just wanted to let all you American viewers (I don't know if this is applicable to my friends in other countries) that Sunday January 25th (tonight) NBC will start it's miniseries "The Last Templar". If anyone is interested it will be on at 9pm Eastern time and 8pm Central time. This is a two part series and the final half will be on Monday january 26th at the same times. Before I catch you all up with me I first want to apologise to all my friends on here. You all have been sending me wonderful notes and messages and it really means a lot to me. I am sorry I have been so distant lately (been kinda depressed and hiding out) but I want you all to know how much you mean to me and how thankful I am for each and every one of you!

Also, to ~flamin-vixen and ~Sera22; I have not forgotten about your kiribans that I owe you. Once I get straightened away I promise to get to work on them!

So what have I been up to.....well, besides the holidays and my birthday that is.

Let's see.....I wrote three college/university papers on Jim Jones and the members of the Peoples Temple. Basically, it was papers showing that it wasn't a mass suicide but a mass murder. All the reasearch and writing literally took up a month of my time. I watched 4-5 documentaries, read about ten books and did countless research on the internet. I think I now know more about Jim Jones and his followers than anyone ever should (and I wasn't even alive when the events took place!).

I've also been playing this silly free online game called PonyStars. It is basically a My Little Pony breeding game by Acclaim. It starts off slow but once you get some ponies that are old enough to breed it gets fun to mix and match colors with breeds to see what you get. After Xmas I took a short trip to another state in the U.S. that was 1,200 miles away (that is about 1,931km for my over-seas friends!). It was a very looooong trip (was transporting a vehicle with an acquaintance to her sister) and most of it was spent driving in bad weather. But we got there and home safe (flew back! ) and I even got to see where my Dad spent some of his military time.

After I got home I got (and still am) sick. So I've been basically laying around trying to beat the bug outta me. I think the bug is winning though.

So I have decided to reinstall my Sims 2 game and make a medieval village. I think I'm gonna name it Acre although it will not be entirely based on the AC version of the city. Just what I think it would be like. Of course the nobility will be Sibrand (), William, Garnier, Robert and Maria (who will live with Robert, of course!). Now I just need to think of what all needs to go with them other than peasants! So far I think I am going to make a church, market, tavern, brothal, and Assassins bureau. Any thoughts or ideas will be greatly appreciated!

Also, ~flamin-vixen & ~Sera22 won my kiriban so I am looking forward to their requests!

Finally, I have started to play this silly little game online called PonyStars. It is basically a breeding game with the ponies being in the style of My Little Pony. In the past three days I have had to quick restore it three times! I keep getting infected with some pop-up virus/bug/whatever and I have no idea how it keeps getting in my system! I have a pop-up blocker and anti-spy (which I run like every two seconds due to paranoia) AND I haven't been going to any off the wall or new web sites so I have no clue what is going on!

What this means is, I don't know how much longer my computer has. So if I don't write you back or your art I promised is slow in coming it is most likely due to the fact that either #1. My computer died or #2. I pulled Sibrand out of his hiding spot long enough to have him destroy what is left of my computer by having him play target practice with his bow and arrows.

I can't believe it has been over a month since I last wrote a journal entry! What the heck?!?!? Anywho, things have been busy, I have been ill, blah blah blah.....

New Project!!!
And I want to make you all a part of it! I am starting a personal Assassin's Creed art project that I call "Sanctuary of the Rightous" Basically, it will be many stained glass art pieces based on the characters, symbols, items and events in Assassin's Creed and end up looking something like this [link]

I was heavily inspired to do this by ~tenshi-rising and her art piece "The Life and Choices of Maria" ([link]). Thank you for being my muse, Tenshi!

I chose the title I did because.....#1. I want to give it a cathedral feel of being someplace safe and holy and #2. because while playing the game all the characters (ok, 99% of the characters) seemed to think they were doing what was right for peace in the Holy Land.

Once I get enough characters done I will start to set up a wall of glass. Each stained glass piece will have a plaque with a 'donators' name on it. For example, Sibrand; Lovingly donated by Tenshi-Rising. This is where you all come in!

If you would like to be a 'donator', simply post a message on this journal of what character you want (not what they look like or are doing...those windows will come later) and I will make it for you! The only characters I won't do are the ones from 2012. This is a strictly 1191 project. That is all you have to do! However, I will only do each character once. So get your requests in now! When finished with the single characters I will then move on to places, things, symbols, ect (like Masyaf or a bloody feather or William dancing ballet in a tutu...you get the idea). So no requesting those things yet please! I will post a new journal when those requests are open.

As of right now, three characters have already been chosen and can no longer be picked. They are

I was watching TV last night when a Burger King commercial came on. It was one of those promoting their new sandwich and one guy asks these other two guys how they got them. Of course one has an elaborate story (example; I donated my kidney to a dying kid) while the other one just answers with a nonchalant "I just wanted one". Anywho, in this commercial the guy asking about the burgers is using a metal detector on the beach looking for stuff. After the nonchalant guy gives his answer the beach guy replies, "Well, here I am looking for treasure and instead I found the most arrogant man on earth!" I instantly thought of Robert de Sable and Altair in Solomon's Temple. I about peed myself! Couldn't you just see Robert saying that to Altair? Ohh! Or even Malik saying that to Altair! Heehee! Last night I had the most bizarre dream. I can't remember all of it but at one point my house was a shop in the mall. As I was looking through some of the merchandise littering my house I saw a snow globe. Inside was Altair striking a pose and when you wound it up it played 'Lonely Soul'. How freaking cool would that be to have?

Well, off to write my *VisionaryAssassins 'Made' entry. The begining is freaking killing me. I think I'm just gonna write what I am confidant about for now and then go back and write the begining. Ugh.

Went shopping today and was surrounded by Assassin's Creed merchindise. My hubby bought me an AC wristband and an AC poster. For those of you interested the wristband can be found at Hot Topic and the large poster can be found at Spencer Gifts. Feel free to let the 1191adb brotherhood members know. No reason they should miss out because I'm not posting there.

I also bought these cute sweat-shorts with a red and black Fleur de leis on them. I call them my 'Robert de Sable' shorts (I know that wasn't his symbol but for some reason I thought of him when I saw them).

On the look-out for more iron-cross (Sibrand's cross)jewelry. I found some but it didn't take my fancy. And I swear, if anyone says to me, "Isn't that a nazi cross?" I'm gonna scream at them, "IT'S A TEUTONIC CROSS!!!" Unfortunately, they will probably have no clue what I'm talking about and I'll be forced to tell them to go look it up at wikipedia.

I saw today that ~tenshi-rising renewed the *VisionaryAssassins subscription! What a sweetie she is! I was about to renew it myself and I saw that it had been extended til October. This confused me greatly until I saw that Tenshi had been kind enough to renew it for all us guild members. Three cheers for ~tenshi-rising !!!

I found some great AC videos of the game in German! Too hilarious! Sibrand sounds much sexier in the German version...unfortunatly he doesn't sound as crazy. Altair still sounded good but Malik and Robert lost their charm. Here are a few samples. I put times next to them for the good parts (so you don't have to watch all the gameplay).

Then I MUST write the fiction of Sibrand and the mother of his child (I am sooo sorry to those of you who are waiting on it!). Then I was thinking of writing a semi-erotic one-shot (which also might be included in my longer AC fan-fic) of Maria and Robert. What do you all think? Would you be interested in reading something about them?

Off to get busy. I hope my design for Sibrand's home works!

Work on my Sibrand fic that is about the mother of his child and the time she spent with him before Altair *sniff* cut his life short. I've got some folks waiting on that story patiently (you know who you are!) and it needs to get done. I am having trouble with one aspect of it though. See, I'm a little torn on how to write their *ahem* scene of consummating because the woman is not going to be a willing participant. I want to do it tastefully without too much crudeness on the sensitive subject of a woman being taken against her will. Any suggestions? I'm all ears! And don't worry...I'll eventually post it here too.

I also want to get busy building Sibrands grand palace for the *VisionaryAssassins contest. I'm sure he didn't live in a castle (probably more like a plain stone home or on his ship) but in my mind he's gonna live like a prince. A very paranoid prince.

I have a few artistic ideas I need to get my little butt busy on. The first being the piece about Sibrand's daughter's mother. It is going to be a condensed piece from my larger AC fanfic that I am working on. Basically it will be from the mother's point of view and her feelings on the time spent with Sibrand and their daughter.

After that I'm drawing a picture of and myself as a Crusader and an Assassin in an alliance shaking hands. This is prompted by the Crusades game over on 1191adb. Speaking of which.....

I must say that the new Visionary Assassins contest has really inspired me, both in writing and drawing. I'm sure you'll be seeing some lust filled deviations in my gallery soon...most for my own enjoyment and one for a contribution to the contest.

I'm thinking of writing a story this time around because I believe my words will do more justice than my scribbles. Plus, it will help get me back in the groove of writing fiction again.

I don't want to say too much about the story but it will take place at Alumut. The main characters will be Altair and Malik. Also, the informer who asks Altair about Adah will be a major character and we will get a bit of his back story as well.

By the sweet request of , and I will be reopening the guild 'Visionary Assassins' for all you art people out there! We were going to wait til the new site brought the guild system back but with talk of this site closing I think it is a good time to start again even if for only a little bit.

The main purpose of Visionary Assassins is to bring together those Assassin's Creed fans who have an artistic passion for the game. Be it drawing, writing, video making, ect.....we are the place for you! And don't worry about "oh, I'm a horrible artist' because we do not judge but embrace all Assassin's Creed creativity!

Some of the features we will have for right now is contests and badges. Every 2-4 weeks we will set a theme and then you get to create your vision of it! The winners would win a special badge to put on their Visionary Assassn's ribbon (kind of like the military uses in America. If you want an example I'll find a pic) and those who participate will get a ribbon marking their contribution for the contest. With these badges you can proudly display them in your signature and show everyone your unique ribbon and pride for assassin's creed art things. And don't worry, I will update your ribbons for you so you just worry about the creative stuff!

Another thing, I know and myself will be running the guild but we also want your opinions and ideas! This guild is not a dictatorship...everyone's thoughts and ideas count so feel free to contact us with anything you have to say!

I have decided to concentrate my efforts and make a replica Masayf from Assassin's Creed. I'll probably do one like the one featured in the game and then another one as to how I think it would have looked (with bedrooms, bath house, dining room, garden of paradise, ect). is also working on making some custom sims and clothes for Assassin's Creed. I wish I knew how to do that! Any advice will be helpful to me on how to make custom content!

In any case, art is slow to come due to this. Everytime I pick up a pencil to draw I get all icky feeling and have to lay down. It bums me out cause I have like 2 fan comic ideas for Assassin's Creed and I want to make a flag for the assassins in Acre.

So I saved all my art from my previous art accounts on the computer (it was late and I figured I'd put it on disk the next day) and decided to close them down and start afresh by using Deviantart. Unfortunately, the next day while I was asleep my hubby was playing online and the computer spazzed out causing him to reboot the whole thing. You guessed it.....all my art, gone. Now this wouldn't be a problem, but the originals are locked up in a storage unit and the original disk containing them is a 3.5 floppy that doesn't work on this computer. I told you my art was old.

All was not lost though. Somehow I forgot to delete my old fan art page so I have a few of those still. And I went to Lycos and oddly enough found itty-bitty thumbnails of my work. I might just make a huge collage of them until I can get to the storage unit and get the originals rescanned.....that is if the mice haven't eaten them yet.

In any case, I'll be posting some of my old art, new art when I draw it, cross-stitch and photos. I hope you all enjoy!

P.S. Anyone know how to check your friends list? I'm at a loss.....
