I've become completely disillusioned with the whole modern punk movement.I used to think that I understood what punk meant, ya know? But, after some reflection on the matter, I'm just not sure anymore. Everyone is so concerned with a specific sound, or image, or attitude. It all started because the kids were sick of that worry, so they just started fucking around however they felt.

Punk rock has lost it's way, and I've known this for a long time now, but I didn't accept understand worry it. I think we have no choice but to go ahead and fix it. Because, fuck, if we don't, no one will.

Really, the only reason why I'm dual-booting and not straight up running Linux is because I don't want to have to buy another Windows CD if I switch back.

I was once a drawer... I got tired of that. So I stopped for a loooong time. Video games took up my time. Sometime around the begining of the school year this year I started drawing again. No longer people, but THINGS. And sometimes places...

About yesterday, my friend, Inoni, started work on a 100 manga pictures challenge (100challenge.cjb.net). I thought this was VERY cool, so I looked into it. Now, I don't draw in a manga style for people. I used to, so there's an influence when I DO draw people, but I don't want to start again. I wanted to try out the challenge anyways, and so here I am.

I'll be posting other things too, of course. I might as well use this free upload space, right? I have very abstract art as you'll soon see.

Just so you all know, I've read Something Wicked This Way Comes. It was very cool, and I liked the idea of the Painted Man. So, whilist sitting for a half hour, trying to think of a name, it occurred to me that I could use that name. Ya see, I love drawing on myself. Mostly with Sharpies. As I sit here my arms a both somewhat covered in ink, albeit not my own drawings, these current ones are done by my girlthing (read: girlfriend (Neither of us like the way girl/boyfriend sounds)).

Hmm... Just as much explanation for my name then why I'm here...

Anyways! I'll have drawings uploaded as soon as I have access to a scanner or a couple batteries for the digital camera!
