the answer is never, lol.

so anyway, I fell off my moped a few weeks ago. luckily nothing too bad happened. I managed not to break any bones or anything, and all I ended up doing was getting a really, really, REALLY bad scrape on my foot. it (along with thanksgiving prep and clean up) put me out of commission for a while, but now that the skin has mostly grown back and the pain is gone, I finally got back to drawing!

Once again I dropped off the face of the earth, only to come back and assure you it won't happen again (yea right). I just wasn't in a drawing state of mind this summer, which sucks considering I'm trying to get a job in the art field. Hence the memes!! they're fun, and the let me draw without having to think too much. Now that I'm getting back into doodle mode, I can move into finished stuffs.

which bring us to the title of this journal entry. I really will do free commissions, or at least for the first 5 people to bug me for one. This is for many reasons, mostly because i don't anticipate more than five people even reading this (prove me wrong kids!!) but also because I really need to just start doing work and having someone give me an idea and a due date would be helpful.

Now that I've caught you up on the past few weeks lets go over the new game plan. I've pretty much been vegging since i graduated, mostly playing WoW and reading Dresden books. I totally powered through the fifth and sixs books and really wanted to draw some of the characters. At some point my head exploded and i said "hey, dresden tarot cards!"

so that's my plan! I need some kind of solid plan to get me back into the art groove, so hopoefully I'll get myself working on these and that will inspire more work.

If you haven't read the Dresden books, I suggest you do, cause they're totally awesome! For anyone who has read them, I'm taking suggestions as to what character is what card. So far I only have a few of the more obviouse choices, so any ideas for the rest would be really helpful (keep in mind I'm only up to six, so try not to spoil anything)

Just moved back to school, and after a summer of playing animal crossing I felt compelled to rearange my furniture on into the night. but i did have time to take a quiz on what daemon I'd have, and guess what? it was a spider!! the one animal that scares me...but hey, it'd make for a funny story!

So yeah, I have, in fact, not uploaded sculpy stuff, and have uploaded pictures I have been working on sculpy this though, so I'm not a total lier.....okay, I've done half of Stork.....It's been a crazy couple of days/weeks and I all of a sudden got back into the swing of drawing, but I will finish some sculpy soon.

anyway, short journal entry! I moved some less popular/ old stuff to scraps, and hav a renewed interest in POKEMON!! why you ask? mainly because I made a Furret costume for anime boston. At fisrt I was making it because was doing a pokemon costume and wanted to do one too, so I decided to go along with the idea. but then sparky couldn't make it and zirofax was torn between pokemon and wicked costumes, so now it's just me. This didn't stop me from making my costume, because once i thought up the idea of a furret costume (I always loved furrets since they're basically ferrets). the costume came out really huggabley-poof (forgive my overly cute termenology that doesn't make any sense) and the tail is basically a big pillow, so i expect I'll be using it as one in the hotel room or the convention if I'm sleepy.

Once I find the time to take pics of myself in it, I'll post some

So HURRAY!

there's not much more to say than that. Hopefully in the near future I'll actually start drawing the 5 or 6 comics that I've been working out in my head (I'd like to note that as of right now the character designs in my gallery are from three seperate comics). Yeah, I'm one of those people who come up with the characters and continue to change the story in my head, so I've never actually drawn any of my ideas yet. I will be starting a new webcomic (my old one [link] has ended due to my terrible updateing consistance) as soon as finishes writing the script. It's a super hero comic and since i can't keep focused on serious storylines for that long, it'll probably be pretty goofy (and example of how goofy > [link] )

So I look foward to hearing from peeps and will hopefully start drawing all my comics (maybe one at a time, maybe allat the same time....that'll confuse ya ^_~)
