Anyway, I was well enough to go Trick-or-treating with my friends today, which was kickass! >:3 I went as Carl Fredrickson from "UP", and constructed a Kevin back-pack on the side (I totally stole ~ebilartista's idea). No one figured out who I was, but that's okay. I wasn't wearing a wig, and I don't have an enormous chin, so that probably threw people off. :B We had lots of fun afterward, I was a little bit of a stick in the mud, because I had to quietly mope around since I thought I was going to throw-up. :noes: But it passed while we were watching the movie "17 again". I don't care if it has Zack Effron in it, it is still frikkin' hilarious (and the predictability is funny too :giggle: ). Then we played lots of DDR...which--for some inexplicable reason--I play better when I'm sick. :I

So... I'm going to have a journal at the beginning of every month since I'm doing monthly features. Get them while they're hot! :U (at the bottom~!)

Today, we had our first meeting for the new Graphic Novels club at our school~! I think it went relatively well. We didn't do much 'cept for skim comics and talk about meeting dates, but that's what's to be expected about the first meeting. I'm not sure how things will work out since we don't know how to run a club...at all. We're talking about comic book styles on Monday, so I'm psyched for that. Hopefully Perry will be able to shed some light on Marvel/DC since I don't know as much as I do about manga types. I'm also thinking that we'll talk about (throughout the year):

Anyone who knows me knows that I love the webcomic Tezzle and Zeek. So, for the good of the comic, I have quit as the lead artist. It is because I fail at keeping a weekly schedule, and I just want to see T&Z comics being produced once again. :aww: Sometime ago ~TEZZLE and I agreed that this was a good move, and I am proud to say that T&Z is in the wonderful hands of :icongamafort:~! He's so adorable, and his art is perfect for T&Z~! >w<~♥ I can't wait to see his comics, and it makes me a happy clam! :la: So to anyone who likes T&Z, please show your support. :aww:

What can I say? It was absolutely mind-blowing. I don't have any complaints about it, but I can't help but to say that there was no real character development. o3o Okay, like in one of them, but that was it. BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE THE MOVIE KICKED ASS ANYHOW SO I COMPLETELY RECOMMEND IT. :love:~♥ The concept is very interesting, and all of the characters are lovable (...well...kinda...for me anyway...). :aww: OH! But do watch the Original Short Film by Shane Acker~! I did, and throughout the movie I was like "Hey! That's just like in the original! Oh, and they changed that there~! Which was cool and it really doesn't spoil the movie.

My first point is that I have been severely slacking in comics. Hm...Oh, and my main GaiaOnline account got banned. The only thing I regret is that I couldn't give all of my priceless items to my friends or something (that account was pretty much abandoned anyway). Maybe I'll earn some gold back, but...I dunno.

Seeing Harry Potter with my friend tomorrow, but...I'm so sad right now, it's hard to be excited (though, she'll adore the movie anyway. She just loves the Harry Potter series).

Last-last weekend I went to the coast district volleyball tournament. ^ ^ IT WAS SPECTACULAR, and that's pretty much it. I won't bore you with details. xD

Oh! On Saturday I saw UP! ^ ^ It was awesome, old people fights are the best. :lmao: I don't want to give it away, so I'll just say that it's my favorite Pixar movie so far! >w< (Wall-E was more visually stunning, though . . . but I'm a sucker for deep space and all that jazz) I cried at some parts because I was already a bit emotional from a conversation from the night before (which brings me to my next topic) . . .

That same Friday, I had a talk with ~TEZZLE. I haven't updated for our webcomic Tezzle & Zeek ([link]) for over a month! The fans are getting agitated, and since I haven't been on MSN in ages either, he brought it to my attention. But he's so nice and forgiving that he said to work at my own pace. QwQ this made me feel guilty for being such a loser and slacking off. ^^; So I promised him that I would make a comic that weekend.

I talked to some other friends that night, and felt bad for missing their birthdays/not getting them anything. So I took a few orders, sketched one, almost done with another, and one of them only needs a background.

My tablet uninstalled itself saturday night. :I Tried to reinstall it, but no go. So I was like, okay. I get it. Too much drawing. So I turned the computer off to wait for the next day. Tried yet again to reinstall. I only get error messages. So I adjust my security, clear out useless programs. Still, no dice. I haven't tried it on the desktop yet, but my laptop's being a bish. QAQ So now I have to wait for WACOM's customer service to open at a convenient time for me (their hours: mon-thurs 7:30-5:00 est = yuki hours: mon-thurs 5:30sleep-3:00get picked up from school; which leaves friday).

I think it's these OCT's. They've got my stomach doing flips and my intestines are all in knots. So, here's where my problem lies . . . I've been thinking about auditioning for another OCT, :iconebon-spire:. I know some of you are like: ANOTHER ONE?! THAT'S CRAZY! Not only is it another work-load, but you've got other things to do!

And I've been mulling it over, and putting off the audition because I think it's a bad move. But that in itself was a bad move (or lack thereof) because now I can't stop thinking about it, and the more I do think about it the more I just sit here, wondering if I should or not.

So, I'm thinking of auditioning. I know that I won't get in because there are many other artists with deeper plots and better art, but I just want to stop obsessing over something I really shouldn't be!

Sorry, Tez-face. I really hate disappointing you like this, I sincerely do! I love making T&Z comics, but . . . I don't know what's going on with me right now. Stress, I guess . . . (don't get me wrong, I'm not quitting! No, not at all!)

OMFG I SAW CORALINE TODAY AND IT WAS AWESOME. Alright, I might be exaggerating, no, wait: IT WAS AWESOME. The animation was stunning. Some aspects you could totally tell they were CG, but some of the elements felt like claymation. (which I adore, btw.) It's definitely creepy seeing as how most all of the people have buttons for eyes, and many . . . warped things. (Oh, and naked old ladies . . . that was, uh . . .) BUT! The thing overall was just . . . ARGH! I LOVE/LOVED IT. :heart:

So like, I've been getting a lot of journal entries about how :iconendling: needs to raise a lot of money for his medical bills 'cause he has to have surgery and how he's auctioning off his stuff. :iconzombiesmile: has a list of people (including herself) who are taking commisions to raise money for the SOS (save our shaun) "foundation" (Endling is Shaun Healey, by the way.) it's all buzzing around the OCB circuit. Even SDL has picked up on it and made a journal about it.

I buried him, so I missed lunch. I really am going to miss him, but . . . I'm not terribly sad. He lived a good 2 1/2 years and seemed to have a happy life. He was curious and loved to think he was brave, even though he was a scaredy hamster. He was really tame, and never hurt anyone.

Yesterday he was limping around and was just so tired that he couldn't run in his wheel. then this morning, he made himself a special spot in his cage, where he had never slept before, and he curled up and died of old age.

I buried him out back in a small carton of "Fiber One" cereal, since that was the best sized box we could find. Thanks for being a great friend, Cyrus.

PARTAY!(not that exciting, actually)I went to a Birthday party, for my friend, Joanna's 15th birthday. Great fun. Went swimming and groessed out everyone(because it's hilarious as I laugh in my own little corner of their house) we watched the latest harry potter video, and some youtube. Since I was leaving for mendocino the next day, my mom had to come and ick me up early.

Beach VacationMendocino was facking awesome. Highlights:
-Horseback riding(it was only trotting, but the beach was stunning, with it's black sand and burning logs. . .)
-Canoeing (It was really fun, and I didn't mind at all when My brother and I had to paddle both us, and our mom back, since she was in the middle of the canoe, where it's almost impossible to make a resonable stroke.)
-bought a green tie-dye t-shirt (because I didn't have one yet)
-bought a bunch of trinkets and just hung out with my mom (because I like bonding with my mom.)
-My mom rolled up the window on my brother's head (He was looking out the window for her to make sure she wasn't going to hit the curb while parking. his head was hanging out pretty far, and when she was done parking, she started to roll up the window, and he was like "?! GACKT! ACKAGGHHHAKAKAKAK!!! Dx " Hilarity ensued.)
-Had the back bumper of our car ripped off(it's not as bad as it sounds, actually, a huge stray nail just got hooked under it and ripped it off as my mom drove forward. ot it fixed relatively fast the next day, so it was all good.)
-Visited the Mendocino Museum (because we had missed the tour to SeaBiscuit's last home, so we watched a short film there instead.)
-The restaurants(one had crappy, slow-ass, and over priced service, while the other one was quick and delicious)
-The Dark Knight (FACK! It was great that the actual ticket wsa cheaper than what they charge here at home, and the fact that this one was, like, the best movie I've seen all year (maybe all my life! D:) was like. . . epic.)

My Facking HAIR! Dx Okay, after mendocino, I went to San Fransisco with my cousin and aunt. I got highlights . . . and they're cute. *yay-ness!*

"Extremely Racist" CartoonOkay, so today, in the car, my dad told me that he recently discovered this cartoon show called "The Chop Sockey Chooks" via a Jack-in-the-box toy (it was a generic foldable chineese take-out box with the "Chooks" on it). Now, I know what this show is, and I thought it was harmless, wiht it's stupid humor, but my dad thinks it's racist, and here's why:
-He thinks the word "Chook" is actually a cross between "Chink"(derrogatory term for a chineese person, equivalent of calling a black person a "nigger") and "Gook" (derrogatory for Vietnamese people, see previous)
-One of the main characters is very slanted-eyed, yellow-skinned, and talks in a very fake asian accent(and, even though this is racist of me to say, but all of the voice actors are kaukasian)
My dad found all of this quite offensive, and wants to write a very angry letter(with the support of like. . .the asian community or whatever) to get a public apology from, like, jack-in-the-box (or maybe the guys who make the cartoon, I dunno.)
