It's been a bit of trouble to feel overly motivated to create something with all the work and lack of sleep I've been having.
But now that I finally have a week to do what I want.

I can finally finish up some promised work, that right I haven't forgotten,
and also some stuff I've had on the back burner for a while.

Also it's cool that one of my friends has the week off too, so I can actually do something fun with someone.

Instead of last vacation, which was me just doing yard work for the week.

Now hopefully the weather will cooperate and I can actually go outside for a few days and actually do something fun. :shakes fist at rain:

Perhaps even my friend =mirrin could drag himself away from his obsession with Super Smash Bros and do something too.

But I doubt it, he's to far gone and if it's not the game its the duct tape.

Here's hoping though.

Well today is that fateful day.

The day that all the world looks around in bewilderment.
For they can feel that something is amiss, but they can't quite put their finger on it.
That one thing is ME.

I have grown another year older and with that another year wiser.
I have learnt a great many things and have found that I have helped others to grow as well.
I've discovered many things are not what I had once perceived them to be.

There are some that think that growing older is a "bad" thing.
That it signifies another step toward the grave, a slow march into oblivion.
They fear that which they do not know.

I do not fear death. I don't welcome it by any means, so don't get any crazy ideas about me.
It's just that I've had quite a few near deaths in my life and it had an effect on my outlook.
Near electrocutions (count them. 12, I kid you not), drowning, and hit by car to name a few.

You can choose to be negative or NOT
You can choose to be a jerk or NOT
You can choose to let life get you down or NOT
You can help others or NOT
You can follow the Golden Rule or NOT

2. In high school, I was in the marching/concert band. I played the clarinet.

This is the day that four years ago that
WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES were shown a horror of such magnitude that we shall never forget.
8:45am EST will never be the same again. I will never forget the feelings that overcame me as I watched in dispair as I saw the first tower being struck. You see I will remember this day vividly for the rest of my life for you see.
I had actually been asleep until about 8:40 that day. It was one of those few days that in the past I got to work later in the day. So the first thing that I saw upon waking and turning my television on was that of the first plane hitting. The utter confusement as to what had just happened had not sunk in. At first the news peope thought it was some kind of horrorable accident. but THEN the unbeliveable happened. The second plane came into view and hit the second tower. It was sad and enfuriating at the same time. For it was plain as day that this was no accident. There were reports of thousands of people still in the buildings trapped. Then the horror continued as the towers began to fall. Al those people dying....
A few days past and I thought of a field trip, I had gone on, in the 9th grade. I had gone up into Tower 1 during a trip to New York and the fact that I would NEVER be able to do that again.

The rest of the day/week I was numb, as I'm sure alot of other people were.

So on this day that is now simply called 9/11, let us remember.

Remember the people who are not with us anymore
Remember the people who went back into the towers to try and save more lives
Remember that we are still here
Remember that are tranquility and peace are things that THEY took from us.

I got a promotion at work, so that's good.
So I've been getting used to the fact that now I actually have more of a regular work schedule than I used too.

I've been tinkering with some new ideas for devs.
My fractal ability has been steadily improving so perhaps I will be doing more of those,
in combination with my other ones.

BUT first I need to catch up with my forum thread that I started.

This seemed like a good idea to see a lot of varied and new devs.
The only thing is that I said in the description that I would comment on any and ALL posts.
So it's taking me a long time to catch up.......if I ever do.

The nice thing is that it has worked.
I've been seeing almost every possible type of art DA has to offer.

I'll be posting some pictures I took on my recent day trip to Mt. LaFayette in NH.
I just need to sort through them first.

My friend, Mike and I went and did what is refered to as the "LOOP."
This is basicallly a 10 mile hike UP the sides of three mountains.

We could have gone one of two ways.
The easy way OR the way we went.

It was grueling and fun at the same time.
The three mountains are Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Haystack, and Mt. Lafayette, which has an altitude of 5260 feet high.
Yep a mile high.

On the way down, after 7 hours of hiking we were both about ready to drop.
I actually did drop when I slipped on a rock and nearly mashed my face into
quite large and jagged stone.
But then we had a nice 3 hour drive back home.

Well I've got more to say but I'll save some for later.

Hope everyone has been having as much fun as I have.

Well it apears that I have been granted, at least, temporary membership status.
I'll have to see if I think it's worth paying for or not.
