This is a bit late here, but its still relevant. My site has been up for several months now, and even gone through a few design changes.

I have decided to relaunch my blog. I had fun with the first blog, and now can actually pay for a server to host it on, so it will stay around for a while. My new blog covers similar stuff as the first blog, except with a focus on quality. I have tried to make the site appear the same way from browser to browser, and hopefully have succeeded.

The site will cover technology, gaming, tutorials, tips, software, and other things of that type. It will also be where i post information about all my projects and experiences.

The site was made using VIM on RedHat linux, server side. I accessed the server using PuTTY, and have never FTP'd a file to that site. If i did need to upload anything, i used SCP. The unique images were made in photoshop, and the other images were watermarked, cropped, and resized using ImageMagick.

All the CSS, XHTML is mine. Each newspost is several Div's stacked on top of each other, a few spans, and some headers. The engine is Wordpress, but heavily modified.

Well, i have been playing around with CSS 3 features that work in firefox and webkit, and i must say, damn thats going to be a nice language. Gone will be the days of slow loading sites because they require a shadow or rounded edge, and use a graphic to depict that. border-radius and border-shadow are some great commands, and the gradients features will be quite good too. One thing i am looking forward to is the resizeable feature, allowing you to make any element resizeable, without using JS or AJAX. The future of web apps is going to be very bright.

Well, The new design is nice, but it doesnt feel finished. There are still reminants of the old design, mainly these interfaces (messaging, journal, submission, etc) were the ones i was looking forward to for the biggest fix. Maby they will come in time. For a first day release, the bugs, while existant, were small and few.

A few weeks ago, I went to our local Costco, and purchased the 16 Ton Monty Python DVD Set. It isnt 16 Tons, but contains 16 disks, and every one of the sketches from the series. I havn't seen these things in ages. They are funny, witty, and intelegant (seriously). I advise anyone who has a costco near and loves or likes Monty Python to go out and buy it. Here is the prices

Costco- $100
Amazon.com- $150
Elsewhere- +$200

I was surprised that amazon was more expensive. I guess the dvd counts as bulk, because thats what costo sells.

I have been buisy working on Podtacular's website, so i have been a little buisy to create a render, so i have only made a lot of iPod lookalikes lately. Today, i installed a new node in my SuperCluster, and i overestimated the time that it would take me to do it, so i had some free time. I messed around, and got the image you see in my gallery. Anyway, this one is an amazing piece that showcases rainer at sunset. I thought of it when looking through my photo library, i pulled out a pic of rainier at sunset from a recient trip. I then went to my 3d program and started drawing, and after a while, you see what i have made. Check it out in my gallery.
