I adore both, but I couldn't survive without the sun.

My exam results come out in less than two weeks. I'm not sure how I feel about this. Terrified, excited... a mixture of things, for sure. I haven't thought about my exams/school in a little while and I haven't started to miss it yet, perhaps because it feels like i'm just on Christmas holidays.

Oh moses, Christmas already! This year really has flown, but so does every year, it seems. My family & I baked gingerbread houses yesterday, a total of five. It's always good fun, and the smell of gingerbread cooking is one of the best I know. Can't wait to eat them! Nomnomnom.

I'm still in love, and waiting. We've been talking for almost two years now and he'll hopefully be here by April. Fingers crossed.

I uploaded a story recently which I am unsure about. Either way, i've submitted it for a critique which would be wonderful and any suggestions are welcome I hope to be writing more soon enough, as I somewhat died for most of the year!

Also, summer has begun! Time to bring out the watermelon and tanning lotion.

the year is 2008 and for me this brings the end of school, some kind of strange freedom, comings and goings, but mainly new beginnings and experiences.
i did not have any resolutions for this year other than to make it as fantastic as last year was.
so, this year i plan to ace all of my exams and learn to drive. i plan to make the most of my time and the people who are around me. also, my brother is going overseas for two months (yesss!), which will hopefully bring some peace and quiet.

i should really write something, too.

but for now i'm just enjoying the sunshine and late nights, lolling and other frivolities.

last week, or perhaps it was the week before, i went and spent some time with my cousin *Amberlouie, which was ace. my mother mistook a pile of leaves for amber's cat and amber gave me some wonderful advice, some of which involved the spreading of legs [get yo minds out of the gutter].

also, i must see i am legend- has anybody seen it?

Swell, firstly I want to say thank you to my recent watchers- simeberg, StercusAccidit, apothecary + smoking-mirrors. I'm becoming more involved in dA, especially through dAlit and all the wonderful people from there! They're a good laugh, i'll give you that.

Hum... so, I added the first section of Turn to Dust, which I rather like and also... a poem which I wrote last night which i'm still not sure if I like or not but i've got some good feedback from dAlit so I might write some more in that similar style.

Other than that not much has been happening because the last few days i've been lost in cyberspace.

Wow.. today HAS been joyous. I'm not sure why but it was just fun... before me + mother dearest went for a drive in her shmexi car (it's a mazda mx-5 convertible)... you feel oh-so special.. specially when it's a gorgeous day and your playing sexcellent music, oh joy! It's little stuff like that you'll remember.

Anywho, we went out for lunch also... my mum is such a dag. We laughed most of the time just because we both do the randomest things. 'Tis a good way to be though.

Um so, I'm thinking I should probably actually DO some writing and post it on here... because... my gallery is kind of blank. Chapter Five of Tides of Life is nearly complete, i've just been slack lately & i'm working on another semi-short, semi-long story called Turn To Dust... so I might post up the first bit of that soon, too.

Shiz, I tell ya, it's a hot one today. Thirty nine degrees at the moment, for all you yankees, that's... 102.2F! So at the moment I feel as if I might pass out. I'll try to hold it out long enough to finish this journal entry.

I've found some BRILLIANT photographers recently, and they are all so dearly lovely... i'm especially loving ZephonSoul and wb-skinner.

Hum.. life has been good. I've been extremely happy and sexcellent (it's a new word... you should really think about using it) lately! Aaaaand i've started work which is great because it means i'm making SOME money! REJOICE!

Ok.. I can't do this for much longer so i'm going to go and explode.
