Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to wish those of you who celebrate Chinese holidays - Happy Chinese New Years! It's been awhile since I've written on Deviant Art. For an update, I've been working on a feature film project in Asia and and building a few things in China - which I'm very excited about. I just had a gallery in Hong Kong which was a ton of fun - since it was my first gallery in Asia. The next gallery will happen in August 2009 sponsored by Diesel and Garage Works, which will showcase much of my concept designs on Creatures.

Hey Gang,

It has been awhile since I wrote in Deviant and quite busy I have been. It was nice to see everyone's wonderful comments after putting up my Dragon Sketch in the Gallery section. thanks everyone!

To give everyone an update of what I have been doing - I have been traveling all across Asia working on various projects from toy designs to conceptual development work to production design on feature film. This month I will be Directing my very first 3D animation project in Asia and I am very excited to collaborate with some of the largest Entertainment companies here (sorry can't say that much at this moment in time). The Animation will be shown on my "new" website which will be coming up very soon as well.

I've also been doing alot of concept designs, product design and a few Advertisment jobs here and there. Quite different from comics and very fun. Yup - I've been away from Deviant and general public but I am back and will answer any questions that you may have - just shoot me off an email.

Hi everyone,

Finally getting a chance to write in my Deviant page. It's been one helluva ride creatively. I'm currently finishing up with Batman/Superman first 3 issues - still on for more issues in the near future. Also working on a few movies as well as some product designs and commercials. It's been extremely exciting to dive into other realms of creative industries. I'm also in the middle of developing a few screen plays plus developing a new IP to publish next year in comics or graphic novel format. I am also redeveloping my website too - so when it's up I will definately let everyone know. Been traveling all across Asia - I do miss Toronto - but not enough to go back kakaka!

Sooooo, that is my update for now - sorry I haven't had time to update my gallery section but hope to soon - just been so swamped with work lately. I hope everyone is doing well and keep up the great artwork everyone! I'll write again soon - until then peace be with you all and God bless.

Here I am typing into my journal after power napping for 3 hours and slamming RedBull into my system ready for work @ 2:00am - Lately, I've been so swamped with work been busy grinding away my pencil to paper. I also wanted to thank all my friends from Deviant, Friendster, Myspace, Hi5 and other online friends who wrote to me after my site went up! Your comments have been wonderful so thank you thank you!! My main focus at this moment in time is Batman/Superman. I really want this series to be the best I can make it.

I'm quite excited about seeing the final colored pages for X-Men/CF - I had an incredible time penciling it - and saw the first few pages colored. I'm very happy with both the inks and colors - the Cow really hooked me up. I haven't had chance to upload any more artwork on Deviant - but will definately upload something soon. Anyways, again - thank you for everyone's support and if you haven't checked out my website it's [link] - I will have small tutorial videos in there shortly and dowloadable interviews.

Hope everyone had a great November - And get ready for New Years cause I believe 2007 is gonna be a GREAT year for everyone!

"Coming... November 1st/2006"

Very close in completing the first issue of Batman/Superman - Metal Men and definately like how it's coming along. Last night I went to bed at like... Uhmm... 8:00am completing page 20 pencils. Now I'm jumping on the cover for this weekend. Wish Icould show some of it - colorist Danny is doing an incredible job. Anyways, I've been getting alot of mail with interest in having me review peoples artwork - soooo, if you have a single piece of art or a page of your comic illustration/concept design or even photograph - I would love to check it out - just add the link here and I will respond to your piece of work and give you as much advice I can give. Woah, can you believe it's already October? Dang. So how is everyone doing on this fine Sunday night? Hope everyone is hustling away at their computer or art table and working magic. It's getting pretty darn cold here in Toronto - time to move West!! Been so swamped with work lately - thanks for all of those who have been interested in working with me to some capacity - I apologize if I have not gotten back to you as early as I have wanted to - just swamped with work at the moment. I'll probably do some speed painting type pieces really soon inbetween my X-Men/CF pages and my Batman/Superman pages then post them on my Dev page. Hwoever, most of my newer artwork will be posted on my actual website.

Alot of people have been asking me about my new flash website. It will most likely be fully completed October 15th and I will post up the link very soon on my Deviant page. It's pretty neat - my friend composed all the music and a good friend of mine is doing all the Flash work - with my website design.

Hey everyone,

Can you believe it's already Friday? Dang - the time flew by sooo fast. @_@ My sickness is finally fully recovered - crudd that took forever! Have been pumping out these Batman/Superman pages like mad - trying to make it my best work in comic. I'm really happy the way it's turning out - and seems like I get to draw alot of Batman and Superman instead of Robin and Super Boy. Which I'm really happy about - because in S/B issue 7, never really got a good chance to draw the two main guys. Batman is just really fun to illustrate and interesting thing is that I'm having just as much fun drawing Superman as well. Sigh - no going out for me tonight - time to hit that drawing board again and draw some more Metal Men!! OH, I can't wait until everyone checks out the colors!! They are soooo tight - a friend from DeviantArt colored them.

Well, looks like I'm FINALLY getting out of my cold and starting to really get back into Batman/Superman which is just a spectacular feeling. Still coughing alot but now I can atleast breath again through my nose. On page 15 of B/S #1 and I am loving each page. Been doing alot of digital painting as well, but too bad I can't show those either since it's for a client of mine ack! I thought it would be cool to give people an opportunity to share their favorite DevianT Artists - so if there is someone thats on DA that you just have to show their stuff, then put a link when you reply to this journal entry!! We would love to see who you think is a hot artist!

Also, thanks again everyone for all of the info on Ginseng Tea and multiple was to get better. It really helped! I think dragoninthedust had a question in my last journal. A layout is for gesturing and developing a basic structure before you tighten your lines and make it all pretty and nice. It's a necessary step before doing anything final. In comics, we use thumbnails - small little tiny layouts and we blow them up to make them larger. When comic artists pencil something really small, it's more proportional because your eye is focused on one particular spot. We then blow it up to 11x17" for final and use a light box to trace the lines. Hope that helps dragoninthedust. Well, back to work everyone and keep up the great work guys, love getting all the mail and if I haven't responded yet, I for sure will very soon.

Holy crudd, I think I just got sicker or something. @_@ Feeling chills down my back and MASSIVE headache. Dang. I hate this Toronto weather - I'm moving to Asia. Then, I ate some nasty chinese white powder medicine that looked like cocaine, dosed up some vitamin pills and drank a nasty vile of ginseng and instantly felt better. Now I'm going to make a cup of tea and just chill. Today was hustling day for Batman/Superman, got a ton of layouts done and soooo excited to start penciling them. But, when you are sick it's hard to nail your pencil on the page and get precision. So, when I'm sick I just concentrate on layouts. I'll be up pretty darn late tonight, just gotta keep dosing on them Ginseng viles and continue to take medicine and hopefully I'll recover quickly. I think the last time I got sick was 1 1/2 years ago. @_@ Going to put some more artwork on Deviant tomorrow. Anyways, have a goodnight everyone and keep it real.

Thanks everyone for helping me get over my sickness!! I'm slowly getting better. @_@ Well, still have some minor eye aches and my back is still killing me. But my headache is gone and I feel ten times better. I'm actually now back on the drawing board. Woohoo! But, seriously everyone, thank you for all of your support. Man - these Batman/Superman pages are nutz, trying to get my pencils as tight as possible so that my inker could follow the lines as close as possible. It's wierd, even if I wanted to be loose in comics, I just can't do it. I have this habbit of tightening every single line dammit!! @_@ Anyways, it's late, I'm tired and still sick. Dang! it's been such a hussling day. Just completed 2 pages of Batman/Superman pencils and I'm soooo enjoying it. I didn't realize how much fun it was to draw Superman. I would love to upload some pencils but not sure if DC would realy like that. Oh, thanks for all of your comments on my CF/X-Men Cover. I'm really excited about this project and all my fav. characters from both sides are being focused on in this book. It's gonna be hella nutZ! I can't wait until you guys/gals check it out. I just completed my run on Cyberforce and I am now heading straight into Batman/Superman for 6 issues. The series is called Metal Men and BOY is it extremely fun. I am also working on one issue of X-Men/CF - it's just a 22 pager but it's pretty cool. Wolverine and Psylocke are the main characters so I'm going to do some really daring and cool shots with when I jump into the pencils. I am also in the middle of developing a new Intelectual Property. Will definately show some of the designs as i complete them and they will be seen on my new website coming in 2 weeks!! I'm so excited @_@. I'm also working on a few books right now on how I do conceptual design work - from beginning to end. Which will also be available on my website. I'll keep everyone updated, and thanx for dropping by my DeviantArt page.
