I've been offline for a while now
(and will remain so for the time being),
for I have some school work and other shite to attend to.

I've been buying LOADS of comics and art books,
new pencils and other supplies.
I'm also working on a more professional portfolio that'd hopefully present my illustrations on a more wider scale than my dA account.
Which is mainly based on comics and pseudo-manga-ish crap.

1. I'm a gig organizer extraordinaire. Well, more of a henchdame. I host bands, sell tickets, draw and distribute posters and such.

2. I've had MANY hobbies. Horse back riding, playing piano, singing, writing, playwrighting, acting, film shooting, RPG's/larping, drawing, making gigs, binding books, building web sites, band practice, collecting shit, bahbahbah...
I'm thinking of kendo and clay crafts at the mo.

3. I'm a geek but not geekY.

4. I have a cobweb tattoo on my left shoulder.I've also had several piercings, but only one in my chin for now plus four in my ears.

5. I once went to Sweden to see a band; Neurosis. It was the best night of my life music wise, but we ended up sleeping outside the ship terminal on a freezing asfalt.

6. One time I got wasted with Estonian dudes in Tartu; we all passed out on a football field and the next thing I remember was being back in Finland. We had a BLAST that night : DD

7. My all time favourite shows are BBC's Pride and Prejudice, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek: The Next Generation, House, Black Books, The Venture Brothers, Studio Julmahuvi, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya... And some others too.

8. When I was a child I decided I'd grow up to be a nazi hunting Indiana Jones who'd also find dinosaurs!

On other news. I got a PRESS pass for Tuska metal festival, but it was sold out - my friends couldn't get the tickets. Boy, was I pissed!
Luckily a pal of mine got one today : D
So now we're gonna have one helluva time there next weekend! We're gonna see Nile, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Dying Fetus, Entombed, Stam1na and whole lotta more.

_{I'm afraid this is one of the most boring chapters, with loads of mandatory yadda-yadda-blah-blah-blah : D

Some things you shoud know before reading...

- this is NOT an artistic comic! Purely for my own entertainment, with no artistic value whatsoever. Even the story is traditional.

- English isn't my first language, so there might be some peculiarities. SKIP THEM. xD

- I like various styles and I've never been good at maintaining just one.... So nevermind the constant changes; just try to keep up with who's who and so.

- I had an one hour rule for each page, excluding the last one and the first few. So don't freak out if you spot "interesting" anatomical features. I didn't have the time to redraw what I messed up : )

- I have like three panels/page... so it's SLOW. Sorry.

- the whole thing was drawn with markers on an A4, and it's meant to be viewed with a black BG

My headmaster and teacher both want me to participate for two comic competitions. I've made a six-page shortie for the other one, but I'm still missing a few pages... And it should be sent by the 14th : P Who knows?

Also, just as we were trying out some video-stuff at school I was called again; they "ordered" me to do some comic-like illustrations for a local sports event. Basically I gotta draw several pictures of a fox trying out different sports. Marathon, golf etc. Lame, but at least it's something.

Which is great, since I haven't had any comissions for a while.

1. You rummage through your plastic bag collection to see which ones you should keep to take to the store and which can be sacrificed to garbage.

2. As you walk past the Parliament Building in Helsinki, and see the statue is titled "Svinhufvud" you no longer read it as "Swinehead". Instead you think "What a good Swedish name!"

3. When a stranger on the street smiles at you:

a. you assume he is drunk

b. he is insane

c. he's an American

4.You don't think twice about putting the wet dishes away in the cupboard to dry.

5. A friend asks about your holiday plans and you answer "Oh, I'm going to Europe!" meaning any other Western European country outside Scandinavia. *Indeed...*

6. You no longer scrunch up or fold your paper money. You always put your money in your wallet.

7. You see a student taking a front row seat and wonder "Who does he think he is!!??"

8. Silence is fun.

9. The reason you take the ferry to Stockholm is:

You know, the ordinary "smooth criminal".

Not entirely human...

Story is about, well, mysterious things, so I´m not going to reveal it here.

Asmael is an elf from a tribe that believes in spirits called as "bird gods".

He has the honour of becoming a sacrifice to the spirits, and during the ceremony he jumps off a cliff.

Too bad, that the spirits won´t actually come, and he ends up in a forest far below the mountains, where the elves live...

Kinda anti-religious story, really.
