I'm alive!

So I finally have the courage now to update. I actually have a reason for not updating. It isn't good but it's a reason.

I was terrified to go on DA. lol.

I knew I'd abandonned it for a while, but just thinking about the number of messages and deviations that would pile up i was scared. I always hate to delete them all cuz i wanna see them all, but i know i can't so i end up looking through them all and before i know it i haven't slept and feel like a zombie.

lol.

so i'm going to delete a whole chunk this time, start fresh.

it's actually almost been a whole semester since i last updated. wow. I haven't done any, anything artistic in that time, maybe doodle on pages and stuff, but i feel like everything i practiced be4 just went out the window T____________T. i have to get more in touch
Now it's summer. Schools over, but i'm still finding something to do around the house. I'm trying to create my own blog site from scratch now, which is a complete epic fail. when i'm done (whenever that is) i'll attach the link from here. It's pretty, so i guess thatz a plus. but i always get caught up in the details.



I watched the Proposal the other day in theatres. totally awesome. i haven't seen transformers 2 yet but i will soon. proposal was epic though and now i have a whole line up of movies for the summer and fall. i am totally going to be broke.

My friends are all hyped up about New Moon coming out in the fall i think? i'm not so much. I liked new moon, a bit, but i think i'm getting tired of twilight. it's getting a little crazy. (btw my friends are taylor lautner fans(most). they are going crazy with the trailer. lol)


I haven't read anything in a while. I have InkDeath sitting on my shelf collecting dust. I'm too scared to open it. It's been forever since I read Inkspell and Inkheart, i'm scared i've forgotten it all. I'm waiting for the right mood if that sound right. lol.

I haven't caught up on manga except Skip Beat! i left off at like 122 for a while and now i'm back on the Skip Beat fever. i just caught up and now i have to wait a month for an update! T___T. i can't wait for the next chapter it's really getting interesting again!

i didn't know that msn had 3-D tic tac toe. it is SUPER awesome. much longer than regular and still loads of fun (i am also still hooked on tetris. though i doubt i will ever get good.)



I really have to start sleeping early. I feel like a zombie. I think i've finally become nocturnal, even when i go to sleep i can't sleep at night. it's really annoying now. lol.



This summer i'm going to try cooking Japanese food. ya i have a cookbook and i'm going to experiment with some dishes. maybe i'll make something edible? lol. doubt it. my goal is to be able to make onigiri successfully by the end. lol.

I thought it would be important to update. I can't believe that it's been just a little over a month since i last wrote an entry because it feels like everything has changed. must be because its a new sem Lives looking great i feel happy i'm starting to really build on my resolution, balance. Now i just have to keep up. i'm trying to be balanced with my lifestyle, work ethic and well keeping up in general. I haven't checked D.A. msgs in a while and wow they pile up just like FB. so thatz on my to do list. it seems endless but i hope it's done soon. should i just delete everything?

Oh and i've been planning to learn CSS soon maybe over march break or something anyone know a good site?



I watched i think a few movies with my family sometime and over the long weekend (thank-you Dalton McGuinty!) i watched a bunch of chick flicks

I am currently watching the drama Boys Before Flower, i'm trying to finally finish Last Friends (which is AWESOME) and i started binbo danshi.



I colored two pages from Fruits Basket, but i don't think i can upload them i don't have Takaya Natsuki's permission i've been working on a few things and some gesture drawings because i haven't done drawing in a while, but i hope to finish stuff today and just fool around and get back in touch. Maybe make some line art for me to colour!



I'm reading A great and terrible beauty by libba bray for my isu! it is awesome! i fully recommend it and the whole series which i finished last semester.

I'm still reading short stories and one-shots >.< i need to catch up on the long series like bleach, fma, vk, special a etc... and stuff i am soo behind!!

My computer is fine .
No second crash just it was being retarded and it's still slow. But you know what? I'm just going to pretend it's fine. cuz i really don't want to deal with that.... It's 11:00pm and i'm still not as sleep... so much for the balance that i said was my resolution. I'm nervous about exams... i haven't even started studying and i have no plan on how to. I just never really have a studying plan and when it boils down to it, it don't really know how to study for some subjects so i decided to devote tomorrow to actually trying to sit down, but the hmwk i had i never finished. i was so distracted today i did nothing. oh well... i feel really lazy but uneasy lately it's the oddest thing...



No movies watched so far. i watched a drama! actually well it was a movie classified as a drama. It was the live action of lovely complex. xD. i love the manga it's jokes so i so the it and i was like i need to watch that... I did no work that day yay!!



I was looking through my gallery and i noticed i got better at colouring but i'm way too lazy at my lineart cleaning up. I really have to work on that. I can't get a tablet this year . i might have to get another summer job and still try to convince my parents... or just wait a while longer... so much waiting...




I have just read bits of novels, i'm trying to pick a book for ISU so i picked stuff that looked cool, read like a chapter and dropped it

I've been reading so many oneshots and new stories i'm behind on everything. I'm so scared i'll get spoilers on Bleach, FMA and Skit Beat and Special A T__T... i did no catching up over the break.. i think i'm just going to give up... i'll get there one day no need to rush. (i've strangely developed a shikamaru type attitude)

LIFE

December started out great but it ended pretty badly. But on a bright note,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2009, year of the cow (Haru-kun)

My computer crashed, TWICE this break. AUGH. and well i did nothing for new years. i haven't done anything i planned this break and haven't slept at all and again it is late and i find myself NOT sleeping. grrr. well i can't blame anyone but myself... i finally updated thatz a good thing. i thought before i lose my computer (that i've known and bonded with for too long) i wanted to write a DA journal entry with it(maybe for the last time). i'm really scared cuz i need my computer. i was actually working on a assignment the first time it crashed and it wouldn't boot up so i had to use safe mode, luckily that worked and i saved a view files. i lost a lot of dbsk vids T__T (xD). after i reformatted it and put the files i saved back on i went to working on my assignment and procastinating and making up for lost time. and then the problems started happening again so technically it's not a second crash yet but that can be expected so before it happens i guess i'm just saying good bye and it's also strangely slow and weird... i think w.e. happened to before has not been fixed. . I just hope all goes well



Over the month of December i watched Nana (Japanese), A Wednesday ( a really cool brown movie. no songs just really awesome), A show called Lost in Austen, i started watching Big Bang, i was going to watch the new brown movie (probably old by now) with shahrukh khan i forget the name (rab ne.. rag ne.. something about making and jodi?)but he has a mustache, but i didn't :S i will eventually... i watched a few other movies over the break And spend the rest of the time watching Wizards of Waverly Place and Life with Derek on Family while my computer was being fixed.

Also, i think the new Ink Heart movie is cool, but looking at the trailer i saw for the movie when i went for twilight, the movie looks like Ink Heart + Ink Spell. it's like it'll be weird rushed and mixed up. i am not looking foreward to seeing that :S



I've done nothing except work on sprites for my game. I'm making a game for a culminating project which is actually, surprisingly good. the sprites were just edited by me i made button sprites but that took no skillage. today though i attempted to sketch different hairstyles, because i realized i don't have a lot of guy hairstyles because i don't really know what guys do with their hair. i like different hairstyles but i don't really know how to draw it. i hope that my computer gets fixed soon so i can do something




I haven't really read far in Ink Death i might start in the summer, cuz i know i won't be able to during school. i might start looking for an isu novel. i was looking at the list from last year. one question, Why are all these books sad or REALLY weird?

So behind on ALL manga! i haven't read any of the series that updates T__T i'm so behind and i'm scared to read spoilers. i've just been reading old fanfics to pass time.

HEY!!!!!

November's Over!!!!

I was piled in november and i thought the month would never end... sadly it was also my birthday month which makes it twice as depressing. Now that december is here i'm looking forward to a break



In movie news, I watched Twilight the weekend it came out. Me and my friends went. I liked Robert Pattinson as Cedric, but as Edward Cullen he was just creepy. The his eyes looked all red... and they over exposed his face it was weird. But the movie was pretty good. It was rushed though. the whole falling in love part was like a week and it was like a few months in the book, but i guess they had to go fast, it was a movie. Bella was pretty, but her voice was a bit hoarse by the end, anyone else notice that? And i'm a jacob fan, but i was totally disappointed by the jacob in movie, no offense, but i guess the jacob in my head was different. The scene where i thought edward looked the best was the part where he's jumping off of bella's truck, so cute. the scene reminded me of inuyasha. lol pretty good movie.

This past week i watched the korean movie "Baby and Me" with Jang Guen Suk. (i him ) funny movie though and it was really touching by the end. I thought the girl was really creepy and cool at the same time. I can't remember her name, but she was played by Kim Byeol. I loved her pjs they were really cute! the kid was adorable in the movie. watch the trailer! [link]




I'm trying to make lineart recently, because i'm practicing, cuz i suck . I don't think i'm getting a tablet i'm waiting a while so i'm working on the method i have right now. Lately, i haven't been doing a lot of anime/manga art, but i'm trying new things, though i think i'm getting back into it. I didn't do any sketching at all during november by the end i started picking up again.




I finished The Bartimaeus Trilogy: The Amulet of Samarkand!! finally, i liked the parts narrated by bartimaeus, they were really witty i really like his character, i had high hopes for Nathaniel's character at the start i don't like him much now. I'm now starting inkdeath the third in the inkheart series, but i haven't read them in a long while i feel sorta out of touch... oh well...

I want my dad to read fma? i wonder if i have a chance, he likes non-fiction so i doubt it and also it's manga so it'll be funny to try but i think he'll like it.

HEY!!!!!

A Belated HAPPY HALLOWEEN to everyone!!!

I finally updated! I was planning to on friday, but i was at a friends. I didn't go trick or treatin' this year, but i still had lots of fun. and i left my sister to deal with the kids.

I was at a friends till 11-ish. we watched indana jones (the last cursader i think) and then the eye. and wow it was scary, but i liked the ending. jessica alba is really pretty! other than that It was lots of fun. we made our own pizza and it was awesome, pretty good and made our own cupcakes and put icecream on top. those were so good. lol. i ate the batter. yes i did. i love batter, dough and stuff. it's REALLY GOOD. i don't get sick with it. i've done it since i was little. xD. maybe that explains a lot.




i came up with a last minute costume this year. a detective. and i did a bad job. maybe i should go all out next year. my friends and i were thinking we dress up as DBSK! can u see me as yunho? xD. probably not. but if u think about like how they dressed in the "o" video when they were in that corridor kinda thing. that would be AWESOME. lol. and some kids dressed up as like a giant pacman and another the pacman ghost. and they chased each other down the hall in school. it was sooo funny. xD




BTW I totally recommend "THE EYE"!! it's good so go watch it...NOW... lol. and the indana jones movie was funny. it was with his dad. i haven't watched any other movies but i think i might now.




and umm well there are 3 more days till my birthday!! it's in the middle of the week so i'm probably doing nothing.




Also, i might post up a halloween piece, late. xD. and i think i have a new method now of making art.




Oh and i finished reading Sweet Far Thing. It almost made me cry. excellent ending. it was really sad. but now i'm reading the first book in the Bartimaeus trilogy and it's really good. i spent all saturday reading. i'm really hooked me.

I started reading rurouni kenshin, because well i heard the name a lot, i heard it was good and i went, "why not?" so i guess my long one-shot manga addiction has ended. and it's kinda funny i like it. i'm on chap 23! still going. and i finally caught up on bleach and fma. did you know their making a new fma anime?!?!? OMG OMG OMG OMG. well the manga ads said so... and i caught up on skip beat.




In other news. Anyone else love tetris friends on facebook? i'm hooked. i get so little work done on the weekdays now cuz i'm just playing it. xD. i'm not that great but i'm trying.




Monday's a holiday for me so YAYAYAYAAY!!! no school. i'm just going to sleeeep..... hopefully. maybe i can catch up on all my lack of sleep.(doubt it)

Also Breaking Dawn isn't that amazing. I was reading it and it was very fitful reading. I just couldn't read it in one sitting. I got really made at certain parts and then i'd just stop and then start again. i totally love Kate and Garrett. xD.

I've been on a weird movie high recently too. I'm so lazy even though i have so much work to do. I watched Tarzan (Disney) again. I watched some other random movies too. I feel like watching Aladdin again. xD Also does anyone know why Disney didn't make a human cartoon movie about Robin Hood? I'd like to see that! I also tried watching a brown movie but then in the beginning of Love Story 2050 i realized it was horrible and stopped watching.

I didn't go to the outside movie but it was raining that day. lol so i guess it was okai.

I have a movie maker question. My movie maker everytime i use it it opens up a little "ffv" or "ffa" in the little icon on my task bar in the right where my date and time is. i know movie maker freezes a lot, but now it's just ridiculously too much because an unnecessary amount of those ffv's and stuff opens. it never happened be4. anyone know what it is?

Other than that nothing majorly interesting. it's fun working at a camp as much as it is annoying. the kids are funny and cute. you get to meet different types of kids. the annoying ones and nice ones, polite ones, cute ones, smart ones, leaders and the quiet kids. it's nice...

I have not updated in i dunno i a century and a half? Anyways comp is fixed now i just need to get photoshop and stuff all over again. I now have office 2007. but anyways anyone watch avatar finale?!?!? i fucking cried, laughed and omg i was freaking out. it was SO AMAZING. I AM A PROUD AVATARD. OMG . i was spazzing to my friend by e-mail and losing my mind. yes zuatara didn't happen but i can live with that because the ending was fabulous!!!!!!!

Just 3 things went wrong

1. URSA!!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT TO KNOW!!!! GOD you can't just leave it like that?!?!!
2. TOPH??!!? her feelings, future and relationship were all left hanging. and in the end the hug, does that mean she's with teo?
3. Zutara. i loved it. i still think they look hot together but i'm not evil i still love the show.

I'm back from atlanta and i'm finished my online course so i guess i completely 100% ready to sooner or later get my printer software back on and start scanning and uploading. i have tons of sketches and work i want to put up. i also have a project (my toph vector to work on)

I have to start writing my book and fanfictions again i'm so far behind on everything. All i've been doing is reading one-shot manga (seriously they're addicting!) and i'm behind on dramas too. so much too do and i've wasted so much SUMMER! must catch up on sleep!!! anyways love you guys!

I haven't updated my journal in a century. JKZ. Okai okai I’m exagertaing. I haven’t updated since March Break. Recently I’ve been piled with work. I’m working on a new fanfiction series. I have lot of projects at school. (Science fair :S) I scanned a lot of stuff I wanted to upload but I have to edit and I want to colour. But it’s so long drawn that I’m too lazy to get around to that. XD. Thatz why I just finished the meme’s with no colouring and minimal editing because it’s such a pain and I have no time to do the whole proper thing. Or whatever I can get it too.

I have been on a recent eye thing again. I love my chocolate eye. I makes me hungry and remind me of caramel or chocolate. ANYWAYS. I also want to try different styles because I think the eye style I have right now was weird so I’m trying to pic a good one. (Also cuz I keep forgetting which style I like to use. )

Okai, i have been very lazy lately! I've drawn a lot of skeches but i haven't gotten around to scanning and uploading them!! and i finally got photoshop 7!! I'm happy cuz i was using 6.0 be4. ANYWAYS i made some artwork that I’m getting around to uploading !! YAY! And umm I haven’t done anything in awhile so I thought. Why not update the journal!!! So I’m doing that.

MUAH HA HA!! (and my exams start Monday and then I have one Wednesday and then Thursday and then next Monday. So right now I should be studying. BUT MUAH HA HA HA!! ) But i can't wait till tuesday. NO SCHOOL!

i am currently working on VECTORING TOPH!!! yes the earthbender Toph bei fong. i love her. i'm vectoring her with long hair cuz i think she'd look lovely with it. don't u? XD. i think i'm going to help myself along with vetoring. o well. anyways... i havefew sketches to scan that suck!! an a few things 2 clean.

but as u may know... i'm a lazy asss and it won't be done for like months from now! anyways. that was just a heads up! and i think the vectoring will turn out pretti good. the toph vector is going to b my 3rd. and the other 2... well let's not talk about those. XD!!

it's me again, Pearl-san, i tried photoshop! i've never actually tried it before, but i did. i'm happy. . i added my drawing original and the photoshop version so it's kinda cool to see the difference. i still have a lot o learn but i'm getting there. and i have a Zuko picture that i' cleaning up on photoshop i might not colour it though. i used a picture to hep me draw. and i have a little story that goes with it. soo... thatz all..
