I've noticed that on dA a lot of people have extremely creative ideas for wolves, and it's really amazing, but there are still those people who can't be bothered to think up anything besides a plain black wolf with maybe a star on their forehead or a white wolf with black paws, ear and tail tips, and muzzle. I think it might be interesting to challenge people, to challenge them to come up with something interesting and cool, and to win a prize for their creativity. That's another thing, some people come up with the most amazing ideas for wolves, but they don't get page views, they don't get 'wow! that's awesome!''s, because maybe they aren't the best artist or something silly.

I warn you now, this is going to sound crazy, and will most certainly be a long drawn out competition.

I say we try and get 1000, (yes, 1 thousand) different and unique wolves. From those 1000, we'd try and pick out 3 of the best. Of course, I'm sure there would be ties, and we'd have to narrow it down. Go from 1000 to 500, from 500 to 250. That kind of thing. In the end, it would probably take a couple of polls...

I know it sounds crazy, and insane, and it would be something that would never work, but I think it would be cool, and if you're not interested, that's fine.

I'm determined to get this to work.

So what else? I have to finish a major English project tonight instead of going to the dance, not to mention I have Band homework due tomorrow. Uh... I'm sick. Maybe? I keep sneezing, I'm really tired and my eye's irrited beyond belief. xD Plus, there's cut on my head... The swelling went down, but it still hurts.

I'm in a terrific mood, so don't think anything that follows is a result of depression, emo-isum, or dramawhore-itis.

Well, today sorta rather rocked. xD Band class wasn't half bad for once! It was actually survivalable for once! I'm improving, it's like a miracle. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though... After all, tomorrow it could go back to being torture right?
French was pretty darn okay as well, and we all know the troubles I have with second languages. >.>
In science class, I actually landed a good group, and this time I shouldn't have to do ALL the frigging work. Yes.
In english class, that ws pretty darn okay. Working on my rhyming poem, the 20 poem project thing is due on Friday. Yeah... I have yet to finish my rouch copy, but I should be finished tonight. Maybe... Depends if I can pry myself away from the computer for long enough.
So yeah, life is good.
My birthdays coming up in May, and I'm having five or so peeps over for the night, or two, and we're sleeping outside. Gunna be great! -cheers-
Yeah. Safe to say, I haven't been this fucking happy in fucking months! I don't even know what to do about it! Cause, ya know, I thrive in the night, not the day, what am I supposed to do? I don't wanna go outside in the day and be an idiot, not when I live by the highway. xDDD
Sad thing is, I know my good mood will be gone by the time I get home from school tomorrow, afterall, a good day of band, like that's ever gunna happen again. xD Oh, and summer vacation draws nearer and nearer, along with report cards, are midterms come out on Thursday. Kill me know. I know I ain't doing great in any of my classes, especially with the marks I got back in English today, talk about slipping. Oh well. I'm a 14 year old teenager, I'm bound to have interests that seem more important to me.

Oh, I have bad news for y'all. >.> I'm regretting ever picking up a pencil with the intention of drawing. I don't have the commitment y'all do. I mean, I know I go through fazes with my stuff... Lots of art, little art, lots of art, little art. But I don't think I've ever gone this long...

Well, the thing is you see, I want paypal. I asked my mom, she said, no, why? I said the only thing I could, even though it's not true, I want to make money off my art. I don't though. Seriously, I haven't ever seriously considered doing commissions. I don't have the time or energy that's needed. I spend, maybe, and that's a big maybe, ten minutes a day during art. A lot of times, 0 minutes. So now, they're all like, yeah, you're sister could design a site for you and you could sell your art! Uh... Or I could not and say I didn't. They seem to think I'm amazing. I'm not, I'm below average. I mean, I don't care. Good enough for me. Unlike a lot of you, art is something I'm just not that serious about. Sure, it's a good past time, something to do when I'm bored. But whatever, I don't particularly care how good I am, or how popular I get. And lately, that's becoming more and more true. I just don't have the drive anymore. I'm still pretty into role playing and writing, been so for more than a year now, so that should hopefully mean it's not a faze just like drawing seems to be. >.> But what can ya do? I refuse to leave dA, it's like a second home to me, so I'll keep submitting stuff whenever I feel the urge to, which will hopefully be nice and often right? ^_^

Oh, Rainne, I'm still working on your competition picture, don't worry. I've got Ayen Ceynt done, I'm working on Saralynn, and then I just have to do the background. ^_^ Hopefully, I'll get a lot more done this coming weekend than I did last weekend. Heh heh. I would work on it a lot tonight, but I seriously need to dig into my school work, my marks are never allowed to slip below a 90%. Never. School, sports, friends, writing will forever come before art. Sorry guys. Art just ain't that important to me. Heh.

As well, Dember, I will try and get to our role play, it's been on my mind for awhile now. School's just kept me so busy lately with midterms coming up, teachers are trying to finish up a few last marks they want to count on this report card. Soon though, soon.

Been awhile since I brought up the issue eh?
Well, don't think for a minute that I've forgotten. It's on my mind for pretty much every hour of the day. Some new links perhaps? What other updates can I give you. Besides to tell you a story or two of recent events in my province.

What else? I had an arguement with my teacher today about animal abuse. He pretty much said that cows have been domesticated and blah blah blah they live to be killed. So, I didn't waste my breath. I simply asked him how much he would like it if I hung him up and slit his throat and let him die by letting the blood drain out. Of course, it's hard to have a proper debate with my friends their. They always open their mouths and say something purely stupid, normally stupider than what I just said. >.>

Seriously, take a look. Do something. Maybe if you're lucky, there's some sort of event going on around you. In my case, I printed out a petition that I plan to get signatures for, and then send it into WSPA, who in turn will pass it on to the government. We need the Canadian Government to realise that Canadian citizens support animals, and want the abuse to stop. We want them to support organizations like WSPA.

That's it for now I think.
Still wishing I was older and that there was more I can do.

Oh, and I plan on this being the last day I ever eat meat. And no, that doesn't mean I plan on chowing down on as much meat as possible. It means this is my last day of eating products that very possibly could have come from beaten and abused animals.
Unfortuantly, there's almost no way to avoid things like dairy products. There's still a good chance I'll be digesting animal cruelty. I'd have to eat from a garden to really be sure. >.> Sucks. But yeah. Any links or anything y'all wanna give me, I'd be more than glad to see 'em. Opinions for or against are welcome and debates are love. Don't be scared to swear peeps. No ones gunna hunt y'all down.

Oh, and, I'm looking for someone to draw a human character of mine. Like, someone who's really really good. xD Preferably someone who will do it for free, or in a trade, as I don't have any means to get money to anyone, nor the money to send in the first place.

Okay, so uh, sorry. I mass deleted deviations from my inbox, as well as journals. I think I commented on maybe a third of the deviations, and one journal, and then I decided since none of the journals were life or death, I might as well not torture myself over them. Sorry to spam you all, but... Well, in the past hour alone, things have been just... Weird? I don't even know!

Well, I've pretty much fallen into the worst depression I ever have... As you may or may not know, a friend of mine, that I've never even met face to face, is the only reason I'm alive right now. Saturday night, I broke down. I was just fucked man. xD

So, I go to school today, make things worse, come home, in a meh mood, time goes by, I fall into a fucked up depression again. I mean, it never went away, it's never really gone away now, for the past few months, but I can normally shake it off and keep living regardless. But well, as I may have mentioned... I'm just completed screwed over. So, I tell a friend, Jenna what's going on. She's there for me. I told her no to tell anyone. So, I'm trying to decide what to do about it right now, I highly doubt I'm going to school tomorrow... Maybe not even for the rest of the week. Problem is... I refuse to get help. My parents don't know, only one of my offline friends know, I'm not taking pills are talking to some idiot doctor. Seriously? I don't know what to do. Or, I didn't. But, I don't know. A minute or ten ago I was laying in bed wrapped in a blanket mourning my, problems? and I was like. Ya know what? Fuck this! Fuck depression! It's not going to ruin some of the best years of my life! No way man. I'm living, and I don't care what happens. So now I'm looking up home remedies. xD Wish me luck eh?

For stubborn ass Cinder still refuses to get help from anyfuckingone.
After all, I think I can deal.
I mean, I have it easy really.
Think about how much people have suffered over the ages.

Sixth months ago one Cinder the Hobo came to dA. Cinder is no longer a hobo, and now lives quite happily among her dA comrades. She does have a tendancy to drag up drama, though she is not happy about it. Cinder would also like to remind everyone that she is not emo, she has cronic depression. There is a major difference. Though she lives a dull life, she manages to conjure up small things to interest her watchers and pull half ass art out of a pencil and or mouse.

So yes, out of third person now. Unlike most of you... I shall celebrate a happy sixth months of hectic unforgiving dA life., rather than how many page views I have. Though, as I mentioned it, I shall say, I don't deserve them in the least. Why do I even have as many as I do? 1000 wolves competition. Not because my art is good. I'm cool with that though... Uh, my art not being good. The thing that irks me, is that I'm getting page views I don't deserve when others, who have the most amazing art you will ever see, remain at 2000 or so page views. And yes, I know, I should stop being bases on views.

Uh, well. I suppose I might as well say thanks to you all for your 'concern' from a couple days ago. The whole string thing... Yes, I over reacted, yes I'm paranoid, and yes, I'd prefer to die in a more dramatic way than 'death by string.' Yeah, not for me.

And I might as well tell you some shit from today, eh? Started out okay, worked it's way up to be one of the best days of my life. Then, in the course of ten minutes, became the end of my life as we know it. Okay, so that's a bit dramatic. Words were said. People were hurt. Tears were almost shed. Hate was in the air. I don't know how I'm going to face the next three months of school. I really don't know how I'll survive. The band teacher's back on Monday to make everything that much worse. So, the rest of my school year is ruined, kaput, gone. I have never dreaded school so much.

Um. What else? I seriously don't know what to do. My life's been shaken, throttled and thrown upside down. I don't know who my friends are, who my enemy's are, and who the neutral are. My supposed best friend betrayed me today, I told her I hate her. She was being all bitchy as well. And it was like, fuck this. I felt like shit, my head was pounding, like it was gunna explode, I felt like I was gunna puke, and I was stuck there for another hour. And really, I don't know how I lived that hour through.

So now my mind's been shot. I can't sleep, because if I sleep, it's tomorrow, and if it's tomorrow, it's that much closer to Monday, doomsday. And well, I can't promise you guys anything. Hopefully tomorrow will be a new day, and I'll be smiling and able to rewrite this journal with good happy news.

It's 1:16am or so at the moment...

On a better note... Happy belated birthday Nar! I will try and get you a present drawn, but if my mind stays the way it is at the moment... Well, I might make you something, manipulate some stuff. If I can even do that... But I'm being emo. I hope you get loads of awesome stuff and have... had the best day eva!

So, ignore my emo rantings which I promised myself would stop... I can handle whatever gets thrown my way. And come Monday, anywho you screws me over, will be told to go fuck themselves, for I ain't taking no shit. ^_^ Brilliant memories.

Where does the time go? It's been five days since my last journal, over four since my last art submition. Truth be told, I haven't so much as looked as a pencil, photoshop, or anyother art tool. Been avoiding the whole deal. Not in the mood or something.
I decided it was time I updated everything... I commented on all 38 deviations... But seriously people, I was gone one night. Christ. T_T Commented on all polls and journals, responded to all comments and notes, and updated the 1000 wolves competition. -high five-
So, I decided to write up a new journal.
I noticed lately, that it's getting harder for me to make new friends. I watch people, only to realise, I don't really want to. I like commenting on art, and being able to talk to the people. I du'know. It's all confusing shit I won't explain.
Um. Easter's today, well tomorrow... I haven't gone to bed yet... So I don't know if I said say it's today or tomorrow. I didn't do a picture for Easter, or for St. Patricks day. Dang me eh? I might work my ass off tonight. There's an entry I need to do for Rainne as well. Did I mention I got two hours of sleep last night? Msn is a no go, I walked around town and the mall in my pajama's today with a good friend of mine.
Um. My moods are all over lately. I was happy and loving a few minutes ago, now I'm more depressed. And well, I need something that makes me happy. Art doesn't anymore really... My expectations are too high in every aspect of my life, and I can normally force myself to meet those expectations, but... Art is not something that can be forced. So, once again, I du'know. We'll see.
I miss the days when life was simple. Ha. Just ignore my emo ramblings though. You know it's a result of my lack of doctor trust.

Happy Saint Patricks day guys! I hope you have a good one, and y'all wore green.

Where do I start?

We're getting our puppy in a week and two days. Coolness, I get to skip school and hang out with my dad for the day. He's been gone for a month or more, over on the otherside of the country.

Before I forget, thank you to whoever sent me the little secretadmirer thingamabop down below in me deviant comments place. XD I have a list of suspects... Why'd y'all have to be anonymous. Yes, I know. Spelling. xD Done on prupose.

What else? Well, today is officially my last day on msn for probably... Four or five years. Maybe my last day on msn, ever. But I doubt that very much. Why you probably ask? Because I am the most stubborn ass you will ever meet. I will do anything to get my way, I never back out of a bet or a dare, unless it is beyond stupid, like run through the school naked, no thanks. Yeah, so, I've been trying to convince one of my teachers to stop eaing mcdonalds. And he's been on my back about msn, which I am on 24/7.
It came to a head, when over march break, I sent him an e-mail, with a link to a movie [link] and some more, mcdonalds sucks info. >.< Yeah, some could say I'm obsessed. This morning, I was with my friends and we were walking down the hallway, and I see him heading to the photocopiers, he spots me and gets this big grin on his face. It was all I could do not to run and frigging hide. Haha. I half stepped and hid behind Steph, so he's all, "Miss -insert Cinder's first and last name here.- I got your e-mail. Blahbablsahs. I'll stop eating mcdonalds, if you stop going on msn. So I turned my back to him and walked away. At lunch time I went to his classroom, thus followed a conversation where I lost miserably in every arguement made, everything I said was turned on me by him and my friends, blabbity blabbity blah. But in the end, I got what I wanted. The bet?-ish. He quits eating Mcdonalds. I quit msn. I got what I wanted. He didn't. He thought that it would get me off the computer. xD Dream on bud. And if I go on msn, I have to watch some stupid boring movie. If he eats mcdonalds? He lives in shame for the rest of the time he knows me. Cause ya know what? He thinks I can't make it past the weekend without going on msn. Well guess what. I don't loose that easily. The only way I back out of a bet, is if it's something like, don't go on the computer the longest, or if it's hurting someone else.
He's going down.
Because I have a secret weapon. Two secret weapons.

Hahaha. People are so stupid, it's really amazing. xD I mean, sometimes I wonder how they get through life with only half a brain. -sigh- Lucky for me the internet weeds out the idiots from the intelligant people. Or I think I'd die.
And really, I'm far from being the brightest bulb in the box. When it comes down to it, I probably have a below average intelligance... So what happened to the fools around me in the offline world? My mom, my friends, everyday they astound me with their ignorant and dultish statements and question. I mean, they are good for a laugh, and when it comes down to it, they're pretty damn smart... Just sometimes... They make me wonder. >.<
Anywho. How are you guys doing? Life good? Have any dimwitted people experiences lately? Seriously, I love hearing about blonde moments. And yes, I'm allowed to say that, because I myself am blonde.

Updateing for the sake of updateing.
The story at home...
These past few days my mom's being against me, every step of the way, no matter what I'm doing. I tried to make conversation the other day, and she was all, "I don't know Cinder." All cranky. So I just backed off and ate supper in silence. I don't mind. And then last night, I was up very late reading, because the book was good... So, I open my door and step into the hallway, planning to head to the bathroom. And all of a sudden my mom yells at me. "Leave it off Cinder!" Took me a couple seconds to figure out what she meant. She probably turned the router off, figuring I was on the computer. I wasn't. Not that she bothered to ask. So, I replied. "What? I was going to the bathroom." She remained silent. So when I came back to my room, I was slightly pissed... I slammed my door as hard as I could. xD Emo teenagery angstyness. And then we come to today, and she calls, and sounds fine, asks if I want anything from the store, I say yes... And she doesn't buy them as I just found. Pretzals and cripsers. Hehe. And so she comes home around 7:30. Gets mad at me for not helping bring in a couple bags of groceries, even though I've never done so before, well, I have, like a year ago. During the day it was freezing, so I turned the heat up. She acts like I pressed the big red button and we're all going to die. And through this I kinda joke around a bit, not snapping back as I normally would. So, we ignore each other for hours. Then I tell her I'm going to have a bath, and she sounds fine. Whatever. Then, she goes to bed tonight without saying goodnight or I love you as she always does. Whatever. I can deal. I just find it weird, not having her nag at me twenty times a day. Those four or three "conversations" have been the extent of our communication the past 24 hours. And my plan? If she's not going to be nice to me, I'm calling a bitch the next time she yells at me for no reason or without waiting for my side of the story.
But whatever. Haha. I think it's all very amusing. >.< In fact, I'm very interested to see what she does tomorrow. It's like going to the zoo except better, because the animals don't create drama.

In my art life... My scanner ain't compatible with my computer, so I have to wait for my dad to get home and switch scanners with me, because his should be compatible with vista. Until then, it would appear art shall be lacking. Of course... Once I get a scanner... You'll all be overloaded. Muahaha!

Anything else you guys should know? Not really. I've been really bored lately though. Heh. I want a camera so bad... And uh... I don't know. Heh. Mapal's birthday is today. >.< Happy Birthday girl! Hope you have a good one.

Maybe it's time I saw a doctor. I du'know. I just feel so fucked up. I'll be glad when March Break comes. But that was random... I've gotten to the point, where I'm looking at my art, and all I can think, is fuck, I suck at this. Why do I even bother? I have the answer... Because it's the only way I have to express myself, I don't have the patience to write. Maybe I should start a journal, diary thing. That might make myself feel better, not like I need patience to do that... I can skip to the end of the story if I want. Ha. I've also gotten to the point where... I want popularity, page views, views on my art, I want to feel like I'm good at what I do... I du'know. I need pills or something, so I can be happy. Pfft. That'll be the day, me? At a doctor's office? Haha. I can get through this, I always do, I always will.
On a creepy note... I was in the -blank- today, and I noticed this weird like... Greyish spot on me, right. But not a spot, it was like... Something was burrowed in my skin, and part of it was sticking out. Scary right? Oddly enough, I wasn't that frigged up about it. I squeezed the skin together, and it kinda... Popped out half way or whatever. But it wouldn't come out, so I tried tweezers and stuff, and eventually using my fingers I pulled it out. Then I started getting freaked out. The grey thing had been like a shell, and the thing coming out of it was like, nasty pale yellow skin colored. I'm more freaked out about it now than I was then. Creepy eh? I think so. Then I started bleeding a tiny bit, and now there's a hole, on my chest... A bit below my neck.

And on another note... I forget. I was gunna... Oh! I remember. Cinder has started drawing humans, crazy eh? The worlds probably ending or something. xD I ain't very good, but I
m practicing. I'm thinking of doing it slowly, like working on anatomy, then clothes, then shoes. xD Or something. Maybe even slower, like head, head and torso, full body, fully body plus clothes, full body plus clothes plus shoes, full body plus clothes plus shoes plus other stuff. I du'know though. I'm doing it randomly at the moment.

And on a shitty note... I have to pay for my god damn fucking new computer. T_T I just asked my mom... Told my mom she needs to get me a tablet. But I doubt that will happen.

I want most of the prints on my wishlist... But one in particular, by Weresomething or other, weremoon? I unno, it's called like Blaitt I think... No... Probably not. Starts with a b though. A rather black and grey piece, with red blood. I want it!!!!!!!!!!! -twitch- xD

Yeah. I've pretty much decided on having two rooms. My art bedroom, and my normal bedroom. My normal bedroom is the fun colorful over stuffed with stuff one, and my art one is... Well, it's like a cabin, the walls and floor and ceilling and stuff are wood, and it would have my computer and hopefully tablet and I'd be hanging a lot of art up. As I can't do good art, I shall surround myself with good art. xD Yeah. Once I get a job, I plan on getting paypal. Meaning I can buy prints... Yeah! Ha. But yeah... The art bedroom would be more quite... And uh, I have yet to tell my mom my plan. Heh heh.

What else do ya need to know? Im writing cause I can.... My mom brought the laptop home again, so yay! My good friend's bday was yesterday, Feb. 25. She's 15, and I think her party's soon.

I have homework to do... A band test to study for, which I hate... Band... Fuck it. I need to write and draw... I wish I had photoshop. I wish it was the weekend, or march break... I need to get away from the world. I need to escape from it all. But I daren't miss a day of school. No faking sick for me.

Fuck. I don't wanna die, but at the moment, I ain't against being dreadfully sick or injured. I wish I could wish for talent. xD And again and again I tell myself, wishing won't get me anywheres. I can get better. I will get better. I will be amazing someday. We learned in English, you have to belief in yourself, you have to know you can do it, fo it to happen. If you say, you might be able, you're less likely to succeed.

So, you will hear from me again. I won't die. I will draw, I will write, I will not fail the band test... haha. xD

Home. I'm going home. Finally. If only for a week, it's still something... Or maybe, maybe I can wait until the summer to be there... Finland or home? Help. Home for a week during March, plus two weeks in the summer. Or possibly Finland for a week, and home in the summer for two weeks. But home is assured, that week in March... Finland, maybe not.

I'd be all alone on the plane. I've never been alone on a plane before. I need a friend, but what parent would be willing to send their kid away on a plane, to stay with their kids friend's sister for a week...


My best friend's good friend, has a crush on a boy. A boy that said he loves me today.


Exams went well... 92% on social studies, 92.5% on math. Fuck ass teachers. I could have done a lot better. Should have studied... Exams, I mean... What fucktard doesn't study for exams.


What else? The semester is starting out well... I don't really like the classes, any of them... For different reasons, but I'll get through it. I'm cool like that. I can survive.

I haven't been depressed in a good while, well, sort of. The night before the start of the new semester, I was a wreck. French ain't my thing. I have no friends in Science, well not really. Band is my worst nightmare. And apparently the english teacher is a bitch. That's what I thought anyway...

Turns out...

I ain't half bad at French, I'll get a 75% at least, I hope. I got Jessica, Brent, Lauren, Mike, Daniel, Brittney and Lizzie in science, none of whom are good friends, except Jessica, and uh... Brett's the one who said he loved me. o_O Band is still my worst nightmare, but I live on a day by day basis, so whatever. The english teacher is a retard, and we get along. Not to mention, a good percentage of my friends are in English. And we get to read. xD ^_^

Goodbye msn, yahoo, aim, ares and all my songs, files, folders, photoshop, sound(reinstall asap), scanner(reinstall asap), camera stuff(reinstall when parents aren't home...), favorited sites.

On the plus side, should be faster. And if we get windows xp installed, that would mean a better version of photoshop, itunes will work on here, as well as guitar hero, tablets, whatever. It'll all hopefully work! And there will be a lot of reinstalling in the next few days, a lot of song downloading, and what not. All very confusing... So, no art. Supposedly anyways...

Now, I need to go write down the links to all the sites I want to keep track of and e-mail all the files I really need to keep to myself.

Get this, I went through 635 songs, and wrote down the ones I like. Thank god I didn't like all of them. O_O So, I have a piece of paper over crammed with the names of songs... Hopefully I'll get the songs from the write artists. Though, I had too many songs I liked from some bands, so I wrote down the band name. xD

Because it's late, I'm bored, and the computer's working. Exams went well. I think I got at least 80% on each, possibly more, though I barely studied... Like, at all. Heh. Uh... I'm writing a song. xD I don't know why, I can't sing worth shat, nor can I play guitar... Meh. I'm working on it, got the versus and chorus done, but it doesn't flow right. Working on some art as well I guess. Nothing special, I du'know. Maybe I'll open up requests/trades or something. Five day weekend, so I need something to do. I can promise no more than that, as I still have a lot to do with just this account. Lost Lives needs to be written, I have five pictures that need to be drawn. And that's just this account. I don't know what I've gotten myself into... That's another thing, some people come up with the most amazing ideas for wolves, but they don't get page views, they don't get 'wow! that's awesome!''s, because maybe they aren't the best artist or something silly.

So, what am I getting at? I propose we do something fun, do something where these people can show off their skills and get something for it.

I warn you now, this is going to sound crazy, and will most certainly be a long drawn out competition.

I say we try and get 1000, (yes, 1 thousand) different and unique wolves. From those 1000, we'd try and pick out 3 of the best. Of course, I'm sure there would be ties, and we'd have to narrow it down. Go from 1000 to 500, from 500 to 250. That kind of thing. In the end, it would probably take a couple of polls...

I know it sounds crazy, and insane, and it would be something that would never work, but I think it would be cool, and if you're not interested, that's fine.

I'm determined to get this to work.

There are a few rules, guidelines, and pieces of information that need to be known...

1. Be creative, obviously. Run wild, this is your chance to try out any idea you want.

2. You don't have to be a good artist, as long as the design is awesome.

3. Everyone can submit one or two wolves, no more than two.

4. Of course, there's no deadline, the contest ends when we have 1000 wolf designs.

5. I know this seems impossible, but if everyone helps advertise the competition just a bit, that would be awesome.

6. And just a suggestion, that may or may not help you win. Just because your wolf has fantastic colors, doesn't mean they'll win. The competition is based on creativity. This means, that if you have a, say, brown wolf, but they had amazing markings, or wings or horns, or five tails, or jewlery of some sort, then they are just as likely to win as someone with awesome colors and designs, possibly more so, for they were probably more creative... We'll see.

7. Also, it would be kind of cool if you designed a new wolf for the competition, no an old wolf of yours, that once again would show your creativity. I don't really have time to go through 500+ galleries to check and see if you submitted a completely orignal wolf, one that's never been seen before.

8. Don't copy anyone's ideas, we may have a lot of entries, but we'll notice if two or more are almost exactly alike.

9. As we get near the end, it's okay if we have two white wolves with black markings (just as an example...), there's bound to be a few with 1000 wolves.

10. Names. Names count, the more unique, the better.

11. Have fun, and remember, if you work hard, you're more likely to win than the amazing artist that spent three minutes on it.

My internet life... Well, since I first discovered role playing, my internet life flourished. I've made friends, I've made enemies. I've lost friends, only to find them months later. Three people in particular stick in my mind, people that I could easily call better friends than anyone I know in real life. Pathetic? I don't even think so anymore. They've given me advice, they've been there for me, we talk, we laugh, we even cry. Two of them are here on dA, and I won't mention any names, for I don't want any of you to think you're not as important as these two, for you are. You all mean so much to me. The third is someone I've been role playing with since... June of 2007 I think, maybe a bit earlier, but I doubt it.

But now, it's stopped. My little circle of friends, grows and shrinks at the same rate, it's like I can't handle too many people, so as I make new friends, old ones disappear. I du'know. But anywho, I'm finding I can't deal with so many things. I feel stress so easily. I was raised to do my best, I was raised under a sister, who was perfect as school, perfect at sports, perfect at getting jobs, friends, boyfriends. Then there's me, I have to live up to that. I have to get 90% or above on everything. I get a 97% average in one class, not good enough. I play one or two sports a year, not enough. More active! I don't have friends over very often, I'm pressured to all the time. Don't have a boyfriend? You must be queer, your sister did at this age. Well guess what assholes? I'm not my sister. I do like guys, but I have nothing against homosexuals. A lot of times, they're more enjoyable people to be around...

So, when I found the internet... It was like my own thing. Something none of my friends have discovered, something not even my amazing sister discovered. And when I say internet, I mean role playing, forums, dA. Not just the little game sites I used to go on, and well, uh, still do. xD

But, the internet took over... My social life was squashed, because I wanted to reply to a role play, I wanted to be on to talk to my late night friends, I wanted to do all this, and it would never leave my mind. Never. 24/7, I'd be thinking about what I'm missing on here! That's just wrong. Real Life should always come first! And I know that.

So, slowly, I'm trying to break away. I will never completely leave you guys. I will always stay on dA, I will always stay of Leylight. I will continue to read blogs that I... Well, read. That won't change. My one on ones will continue, not like I reply pronto anyway. But with school starting up again, and I mean, I was stressed through Christmas break, with school... That's a whole other ordeal. But whatever, I'll deal.

This is still my world, away from my friends and family, away from their pressures.

This brings me to my final point. I look at the comments I need to respond to... I look at the deviations I need to comment on... And I get overwhelmed. So, I won't you to know two or three things.

1. I will always read your comments.
2. I will always view your deviations.
3. I will always read your journals.
4. I will always be there for you, silent or not.
5. I will continue to reply to one on ones.
6. I will continue to submit art, though quality may be lacking.
7. The 1000 unique wolves competition will continue til the very end.

That was a bit more than I meant for... As well, I've decided to do one part of Lost Lives a month. If you're lucky, two. Or, I guess I should say, if I'm lucky. I will finish my trade with Rainne. Then I'll be working on a piece for my neighbour, and that's it. No other work will be added, and once I'm done all that, I have a million ideas on my walls I've written down, and so I'll start doing whatever.

No more trades, no more gift or fanart, no more request. Not that I got or did any anyway.

This is my last journal until the next big holiday, or until something important happens.

On a lighter note, snowboarding was a blast!

I've noticed that on dA a lot of people have extremely creative ideas for wolves, and it's really amazing, but there are still those people who can't be bothered to think up anything besides a plain black wolf with maybe a star on their forehead or a white wolf with black paws, ear and tail tips, and muzzle. I think it might be interesting to challenge people, to challenge them to come up with something interesting and cool, and to win a prize for their creativity. That's another thing, some people come up with the most amazing ideas for wolves, but they don't get page views, they don't get 'wow! that's awesome!''s, because maybe they aren't the best artist or something silly.

So, what am I getting at? I propose we do something fun, do something where these people can show off their skills and get something for it.

I warn you now, this is going to sound crazy, and will most certainly be a long drawn out competition.

I say we try and get 1000, (yes, 1 thousand) different and unique wolves. From those 1000, we'd try and pick out 3 of the best. Of course, I'm sure there would be ties, and we'd have to narrow it down. Go from 1000 to 500, from 500 to 250. That kind of thing. In the end, it would probably take a couple of polls...

I know it sounds crazy, and insane, and it would be something that would never work, but I think it would be cool, and if you're not interested, that's fine.

I'm determined to get this to work.

There are a few rules, guidelines, and pieces of information that need to be known...

1. Be creative, obviously. Run wild, this is your chance to try out any idea you want.

2. You don't have to be a good artist, as long as the design is awesome.

3. Everyone can submit one or two wolves, no more than two.

4. Of course, there's no deadline, the contest ends when we have 1000 wolf designs.

5. I know this seems impossible, but if everyone helps advertise the competition just a bit, that would be awesome.

6. And just a suggestion, that may or may not help you win. Just because your wolf has fantastic colors, doesn't mean they'll win. The competition is based on creativity. This means, that if you have a, say, brown wolf, but they had amazing markings, or wings or horns, or five tails, or jewlery of some sort, then they are just as likely to win as someone with awesome colors and designs, possibly more so, for they were probably more creative... We'll see.

7. Also, it would be kind of cool if you designed a new wolf for the competition, no an old wolf of yours, that once again would show your creativity. I don't really have time to go through 500+ galleries to check and see if you submitted a completely orignal wolf, one that's never been seen before.

8. Don't copy anyone's ideas, we may have a lot of entries, but we'll notice if two or more are almost exactly alike.

9. As we get near the end, it's okay if we have two white wolves with black markings (just as an example...), there's bound to be a few with 1000 wolves.

10. Names. Names count, the more unique, the better.

11. Have fun, and remember, if you work hard, you're more likely to win than the amazing artist that spent three minutes on it.

Bien, dans une tentative faible pour apprendre comme beaucoup de français comme semestre possible avant que le prochain vient et j'échoue pitoyablement, je parlera/taper complètement en français pour le prochain peu de mois. Je sais qu'il semble fou, et ne pas s'inquiéter, je suis fourni avec des sous-titres. J'ai sérieusement besoin de commencer à apprendre la langue... Je suis probablement un des étudiants de sommets dans mon degré, mais quand il s'agit de français... Ouais, no je suce à lui! C'est comme j'ai un bloc français dans mon esprit! Gah! Si, j'essaierai et serai français en ligne. Ceci inclut msn... Donc mes amis seront pissé. Msn, le Dessein, Yim, les travaux. A moins que je suis pressé, parce que... Euh... J'ai besoin d'un traducteur, et nous tout sait misérable ils travaillent. Si, j'ai eu d'autres choses à vous dire tout... Mais maintenant j'oublie. J'ai vu le Compas Doré hier soir, cela était assez bon. Un morceau court pour comment long et bon et a détaillé le livre est, mais oh bien.

I'm beat. I've been tired for so long. I'm not sure when the last time I had a good sleep was... I mean, today would have been a good day if it weren't for a few things... One, this tiredness that won't f off. Two, the splitting headache I had, that I think was the reason my vision was all blurry and sparkly. Three, I felt like I was going to barf several times. Four, my rabbit destroyed half my room, including peeing on my bed. Five, I wanted to redraw Mapal's gift... And I did, and it is better than the first seven or so different versions and ideas, but it still managed to turn out like crap. Six, my main role playing buddy has decided to kill of her main character... I think she's hinting she wants to stop the role play, and she seems to think that killing Charade is an awesome idea! And having his dead body magically turn up at the front gates of one of the kingdoms... And therefore leaving his daughter, and my character in a lot of pain over see their father/friend dead. Well, Arya is Charade's daughter... And my character, Cat is Charade's... Very close friend. ^_~ So yeah, that's very depressing, we've had this role play going for... Well, I du'know. My brain still hasn't gotten back to work after that headache. Since June or before. We've become amazingly good friends, we confide in each other, and well yeah. We moved from the annoyingly retarded Neopets to msn and e-mail, which is good. Easier to talk. And now, now I just don't know. I mean, she's the only reason I still role play...

On the plus side, I got to spend the entire day locked in my room in the dark eating whatever I felt like watching movies on the computer hanging out with my dementedly viscious rabbit. And if that doesn't sound look fun to you, go away. It's amazingly fun, I love the dark. Plus, I got to just lay in bed. How amazing is that? I didn't worry about anything all day! I mean, once I got over the headache and general ill feeling, I had a great day! I mean, the best day I've had in awhile! How sad is that? But I mean, when I think about it, this is just what I needed. A day to myself, where every one else can just f off. I didn't get mad at anyone, not once, which is quite amazing for me. I didn't snap at anyone, I was in a good mood. I got to do as I pleased, I didn't worry about school, or dA or any role plays I need to reply to or the sites I need to check on. Everything was good. I mean, I spent maybe five minutes wishing I was a better artist, but I reassured myself pretty quick. I mean, no great artist starts out perfect. They gain talent over the days, I mean, a lot of them start out amazing, but no where near as good as they could be or are. Then, when that worked really well, I had another though. Creativity. Maybe I don't have to be that great of an artist, but if I'm creative... And think up cool... Or weird animals and stuff, that's just as good as any amazing artist who draws the same wolves again and again. So, in the end I felt better.

Which leads me to my last note. I talk too much... No, that's not the last note.

I keep saying I'm going to do something. I'm going to draw wolves, I'm going to draw horses, I'm going to draw digitally, I'm going to draw traditionally, I'm going to do photomanipulation, I'm going to do this and that, I'm going to draw Guartones, blah blah blah. And in the end, I always get bored of that topic, and move on amazingly quickly. I flicker around too much, well, no, not too much. But whatever. The thing is, I keep telling you guys I'm going to do something, and then I don't. Like Christmas presents... Yeah, don't count on it anymore. It's too much work. The pressure is beyond frustrating. I mean, who hates Christmas? I did, the things I have to get done in a month... So, I dropped half of them, and said, if they really like me, they'll understand. Obviously Mapal is still getting a gift... As I mentioned it earlier. So, this is it guys. No more promises. No more saying I'm going to do this or that. No more. I draw what I feel like, when I feel like it. Maybe you won't see that much more traditional, or maybe not much more digital, or I really don't know. Maybe I'll just write poems! Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your DA journal. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a ______ icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("all I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV."). The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your DA or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.

STEP TWO
Surf around your friends list (or friends' friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now, here's the important part:

If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- do it.

You need not spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf -- to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Give, and you might receive. and you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

I've noticed that on dA a lot of people have extremely creative ideas for wolves, and it's really amazing, but there are still those people who can't be bothered to think up anything besides a plain black wolf with maybe a star on their forehead or a white wolf with black paws, ear and tail tips, and muzzle. I think it might be interesting to challenge people, to challenge them to come up with something interesting and cool, and to win a prize for their creativity. That's another thing, some people come up with the most amazing ideas for wolves, but they don't get page views, they don't get 'wow! that's awesome!''s, because maybe they aren't the best artist or something silly.

So, what am I getting at? I propose we do something fun, do something where these people can show off their skills and get something for it.

I warn you now, this is going to sound crazy, and will most certainly be a long drawn out competition.

I say we try and get 1000, (yes, 1 thousand) different and unique wolves. From those 1000, we'd try and pick out 3 of the best. Of course, I'm sure there would be ties, and we'd have to narrow it down. Go from 1000 to 500, from 500 to 250. That kind of thing. In the end, it would probably take a couple of polls...

I have not given up on traditional art! I'm waiting until Christmas when I get some actual art supplies. Until then digital it is, I know I suck at digital, but the more I work on it, the better I get. Maybe it seems like I flip around a lot... I mean, I do traditional drawings, I do digital drawings, photomanipulation, photography, and card animals (o_O). So yeah, I'm trying to keep my options open. I get bored of things very quickly, and when I get bored of doing one thing, I'd like to be able to easily flip to something else without people being like, wha??? The only thing I really don't do, is writing... Why? Because I really don't have the attention span for it. The only way I'd be able to do a story, whether I were to write it, or make a comic, I'd have to be working with someone else.

Another thing I'd like to talk about would be my watchers. I feel bad, because I watch very few of you, and really, I should watch all of you, because you're better artists than I am, and plus, there are so few of you, it's not like it would be a hassle. But Christmas is coming up. So guess what, all of you are getting something nice! xD I promise. I mean, not an individual present each, because you know what that would do to me? My god. I'd be dead from exhuastion.

As for my friends, I was going to make you Christmas presents, and then keep it a surprise for you until the actual day, but then I realised I don't want to insult someone who doesn't celebrate and plus, I want you to know you're getting something from me so that when all of a sudden you get a present from me ten days after Christmas, you aren't thinking I didn't bother to start working on until after Christmas or something... Well, I'm sure all of that didn't make much sense, but in my head, I know what I'm rambling about. So, :iconmapal:, :iconlaroxes:, :iconmidnightrainne:, :icongugu-v:, and :iconthe-lycan-queen:, you're all getting presents from Cinder this year! xD If you don't celebrate or don't want a present from me or something, just let me know. Except you Mapal, because I already finished yours. Well, sort of. It turned out like shat so I plan on re-doing it. Anywho, there goes my surprise, but ah well.

Also, for some reason when I give people presents, they seem to think they have to give me a present. That's just silly. Just because I have enough time on my hands to make everyone in the world a present, doesn't mean you have to waste your time making me something, so please, don't bother. ^_^

And I might as well take this moment to thank all of you for your support, especially Mapal. She's been giving me numerous pointers for drawing horses and her patience with me is beyond belief. Laroxes as well, I have to say, I don't know what I'd do without you. I have asked you so many stupid questions, but you always do your best to answer and your help with the 1000 wolves competition is much appreciated. And the rest of you, well you all rock just as much! I love ya all, and I really, really don't know what I'd do without you.

So, maybe you're wondering why all of a sudden I'm thanking you all. Because my life is about to enter a rough patch, and I may need someone to just listen to me bitch. A couple days ago my family recieved a letter that my nana is... Well, she's in the hospital, and has no clue really what is going on. My aunt has been stretched to her limits trying to take care of nana, and well, we couldn't thank her enough. In the letter, which my aunt sent, she said that my nana probably won't be discharged from the hospital, in other words, she's at deaths door. My dad was recently on strike with the other employees at the university, and therefore money is low, and with the holidays here, that isn't good. Now his mother is dieing, his sister is being pushed beyond limits and his daughter, my sister, has the family depression that most of us have, but the thing is... She can't take any medicine for it, that just makes it worse. I know it sounds crazy, and insane, and it would be something that would never work, but I think it would be cool, and if you're not interested, that's fine.

I'm determined to get this to work.

There are a few rules, guidelines, and pieces of information that need to be known...

1. Be creative, obviously. Run wild, this is your chance to try out any idea you want.

2. You don't have to be a good artist, as long as the design is awesome.

3. Everyone can submit one or two wolves, no more than two.

4. Of course, there's no deadline, the contest ends when we have 1000 wolf designs.

5. I know this seems impossible, but if everyone helps advertise the competition just a bit, that would be awesome.

6. And just a suggestion, that may or may not help you win. Just because your wolf has fantastic colors, doesn't mean they'll win. The competition is based on creativity. This means, that if you have a, say, brown wolf, but they had amazing markings, or wings or horns, or five tails, or jewlery of some sort, then they are just as likely to win as someone with awesome colors and designs, possibly more so, for they were probably more creative... We'll see.

7. Also, it would be kind of cool if you designed a new wolf for the competition, no an old wolf of yours, that once again would show your creativity. I don't really have time to go through 500+ galleries to check and see if you submitted a completely orignal wolf, one that's never been seen before.

8. Don't copy anyone's ideas, we may have a lot of entries, but we'll notice if two or more are almost exactly alike.

9. As we get near the end, it's okay if we have two white wolves with black markings (just as an example...), there's bound to be a few with 1000 wolves.

10. Names. Names count, the more unique, the better.

11. Have fun, and remember, if you work hard, you're more likely to win than the amazing artist that spent three minutes on it.

To enter a wolf, please follow these simple steps.

2. Come up with a creative name.

3. Tell us these three things:

4. Send me a note with a link to your wolf.

There are a lot of people out there who are amazing artist's, and really, they deserve something. The least we can do is give them page views and watchs. Boost their self confidence, the like. There's a lot of people out there I think deserve to be recognized, and it will be hard to choose just a few of them to post at the bottom of this journal. All the same, I will. I know I don't have many watchers, so not many people will see and read this journal, but all the same, I hope some people do.

Onto the part of my journal about horses. I've decided that drawing wolves will never be my strong point. xD No, I haven't given up on my skills for drawing canines and their ever so annoying paws, I just won't be drawing them as much. Horses are my new pursuit. I think I'm doing okay with them... I have a lot of faults, but don't we all when we first start? Critique is more than welcomed.

Anywho... The information. A single herd of horses lives deep within a range of moutains, as you can imagine, this makes life extremely difficult. They are led by a black stallion by the name of Wolf. They are a fantasy herd, mostly because any knowledge of horses I have comes from :iconmapal:. Heh. I have yet think of a name for the herd or the land they live on. What I do know, are the horses that live in the herd. They are, roughly, in the order of rank.

I'm not here to try and gain your pity though, and really, I hate pity. I'm here to let you know why I haven't drawn anything for the past... Couple weeks it must be? I have submitted some drawing recently, but they're things I found while cleaning my room.

I'll try and jump start my muse again soon, it just seems everytime I go to start drawing, I'll draw one little line, or an ear or something, and poof. It sucks and I give up. Bad, I know. Maybe once I get my role playing under control I'll get some inspiration.

Other then that life has been pretty topsy turvy. There's the good things, my friends, and the fun we manage to cook up, and then there's school. School being the bad, the horrible, the ugly. I'm managing to scrap by though, and life goes on.

I'm still here, and I will get drawing. I'll try not to disappoint my slim few viewers.
