...It's so totally true though. Enchanted is such a good film!

When I first started watching it I was like, "Oh fuck it's awful...." but I decided to persevere and I'm so glad I did. Although I still can't work out whether the film is a homage to previous Disney films, a mickey-take or a blatant copy, I still couldn't help smiling like I always do at the romantic cheese.

Certain parts are really funny, such as the bus driver scene. I swear to God, I never thought I'd ever hear someone say, "Nobody stabs my bus!" Lol.

Also, the whole dancing/singing scene in the middle was awesome. When Giselle started singing I was thinking, "oh god...." but when the band started playing with a carribbean twist it became EPIC. And the old people! And the brides!

Some bad points: Giselle was a tad on the annoying side but it could have benn MUCH WORSE. Her sighing at the beginning sounded a bit seventies porno but thankfully it subsided. Talking of sex, did anyone else find several slightly adult jokes near the beginning? THAT was funny! If I had seen this when I was younger I totally would NOT understand.....I was an innocent child!

So anyway, I loved this. I think you will either love it or hate it. I got my happy ending, but if you are not a fan of disney shmaltz steer clear...this is so sugary it will give you toothache.

And just to clear things up...Giselle is NOT a princess!

Other news...oh, last night was the dorm halloween party, in which 2 witches, a geisha (me), an angel fairy, a bee, a mime, an unliscenced hippie doctor, an escaped convict, a japanese school girl, and a naval officer among others were in attendance.

It was fun! Crammed into one flat with all these people and having lengthy discussions about whether I should cosplay or not. And who is the fittest Doctor Who...(it's obviously number 8). Can't believe there is someone else in the world who finds him hot lol. I thought i was possibly the only one!

Also, thanks to and for the watch, and the many comments and faves that you have given me....it's really sweet of you guys to like my shitty work so much!

WE SCARED THEM. No, only joking...heh heh. But we initiated them into the scary world of British life, showing them the scurge of chavs and hot men on horses...(it was some boring history thing about medieval jousting n crap, made more interesting with eye candy.)

I went to France, to Paris and the Saint Germain funfair, on the same night that two people were killed there. Nice. Not.

As you may or may not have guessed, I am a fan of Death Note...

So I bought the 2 movies on DVD!!! I got the spesh edition one with the jewel case...I'm so happy! (Inanimate objects give me so much pleasure...)

I'm also debating whether to buy the How to read 13 special gift set. I know it's sold out in most places, but I found it for sale online! But I spent too much money this month, I have to economise and stuff so I can afford university! Myabe next month. BTW, I got my loan, and it's a higher amount than usual because I am studying in London...but then I have to pay more back...

So anyway, back on topic... I also have yet to buy Death Note 11! What! You cry! But I didn't realise that it was coming out so soon after ten, and then it did and I'd already bought too much manga... -___-

But, I have read it already so it's all good! And I have a Hana Kimi art book which I am waiting to be delivered. I am now up to Hana Kimi 13! Woah!

I have my theory test coming up soon and my spanish speaking test in 5 days!!!!!
And on bank holiday monday, me and my friends are re-enacting Edward 2nd! Lol. (It's a play, dawg) Well, what happens is...this King dotes on his boyfriend instead of the country and gets a poker up his arse for his troubles. And they say history is boring...

Anyway, I have got loads of songs off t'Internet recently, so I thought I'd share with you what I recently lurve....

1) Songs from Hannah Montana = how cool is this show?! I love it! And the songs are class; the theme tune 'Best of Both Worlds' is really good and 'Who Said' makes me wanna sing along! I know that this show is for 12 years old American girls, and technically watching it makes me a retard, but with lyrics such as, "Who said, who said I can't be superman / I say, I say that I know I can! / Who said, who said I won't be President? / I say, I say you aint seen nothing yet!" Truely awe-inspiring lyrics...*wipes tear*

2) 'Golden Skans' by The Klaxons = I kept hearing this tune and liking it, but I never did anything about it! Then I just got really annoyed at my own laziness and downloaded it. The beginning is wicked and just draws you in - RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!

3) 'Keep tryin'' by Utada Hikaru = I love this song more than 'Passion' - it's more upbeat. Plus Utada-san's bilingual ability makes her english blend into the song - a lot of the time, 'engrish' is really bad!

4) 'Candyman' by Christina Aguilera = how can you not like this song? It's so jazzy and fun, and the video is really stylish - think old war films mixed with pop art and you're nearly there. It's embarrasing to admit that I like ol' Christina - but then again, maybe I shouldn't have admitting my liking for Hannah Montana either!

5) 'Red Light Spells Danger' by Billy Ocean = I was watching the Top Gear segment on Comic Relief, and the presenters played this song with Justin Hawkins singing; I instantly loved it. Once I downloaded it, I played it about 20 times in one go...I can't believe I still like it!

6) 'Say It Right' by Nelly furtado = All of Nelly's releases from her new album have been really good, but this song is my favourite...from the strong rhythm to the echoing sounds by Timbaland, this song has it all! Well...maybe not EVERYTHING...

7) 'Sexy Boy' by AIR = So I was on iTunes, and really wanted to buy a song but didn't know which, so I thought, "I know! I'll find some stuff by the bands on the 'Lost In Translation' soundtrack, I'll find something I like for sure!!!" Well, I clicked on AIR and played this song, and I recognised it from a random advert. You'll know it, even if you don't instantly recognise it! I love dreamy sounding music, but I don't know where to start to find it! I guess I should get an advert music compilation CD - they do actually exist I'll have you know!

8) Disney songs in Spanish & French = I like buying songs in these languages because I am learning them at school, and I can actually (slightly) understand the lyrics! Disney songs rock! In the 'they are super cool!' way, not in the 'Led Zeppelin' way. Lol. I got some Mulan and Lion King songs in Spanish, and Little Mermaid songs in French. One day, 'Voy a ser el Rey Leon'!!!

9) Anime theme tunes = 'Tsuki No Curse' from 'Loveless' is a wicked song, as is 'Asterisk' from Bleach...and you just have to love 'the WORLD' from 'Death Note'...even though the new theme tune is rubbish and it scares me a little! Plus L's theme 1 + 2 are both pretty songs that transform into really good pieces of rock music! 'Sakura Kiss' from Ouran High School Host Club is so cool, I even have the Karaoke version!! Oh and the last piece of anime music I want to mention is 'Glaring Dream' from Gravitation. It's so dreamy and cute, but sad at the same time...It really affects you when you watch the anime, I was so sad for Shuichi when Yuki was being a bastard!

10) 'Dani California' by RHCP = Talking of Death Note, (which I always am...) this song from the Live-Action Movie is brilliant! Doesn't it make you want to get up on stage and jam with Anthony and co? NO?! Why not? Well I love everything about this song - I tried to alter the lyrics so it talked about my friend instead of Dani - her name fitted in with the beat really well, but the rest of my lyrics were shit!

Well that's it, I have to go get dinner as my parents are on holiday in Wales. Some aspects of being left home alone are great, like being able to have your friends round to drink then watch Disney films till three in the morning without your folks complaining, but it means that I have to feed myself...and I am one lazy person! Plus my Dad took the wok, so I have to cook in a saucepan! Who does he think I am? A sub-standard chef? Yep. But I did chicken in Hoisin Sauce the other day with noodles and it was one tasty dinner! And then last night, I replaced cooking with Pizza Hut - so healthy....

On another topic...my friend looks like Near. Yep, the little genius from Death Note. When she doesn't straighten her hair it goes all cute and fluffy, and as it is bleach blonde it reminds me of the little scamp. Not to mention she has the biggest eyes and wears plenty of eyeliner...
Anywho, I thought some people might find this amusing as she is a girl...and when I explained who Near was she disliked being compared to a pre-pubescent boy. Ha ha. But I took a photo anyway. It's on her camera so it's probably deleted. Shame.
