I've been drawing, I promise. I'll get something up... eventually. Not that I think anybody's stalking me or anything. I'm just promising myself that I'll stop being lazy for a little while and do something productive.

I wish I had a subscription. I think I'd be a happier camper.

I think that the next thing I draw will have to be an exercise in lighting. I'm really lacking in that department. I have a tendency to be inconsistent with my light-source.

Backgrounds, too. I definitely need work in that area. I think I shall have to do just a few backgrounds without a subject in order to get the hang of it. It's really just the laziness factor, I think. Maybe I should take a course in architectural drawing, if that even exists.

So I'll just cheer myself on for a while. Go, Peppermint! Get better! Rah! Rah! Rah! :feels inspired:

Anyway, moving on...

Junior year is a bitch, no way around it. So much homework, I think I'm just gonna keel over an' die. Either that, or I think I'm going to have permanent back problems for the rest of my life from all of the books I haul around.

I'm finding it difficult to find time to finish my drawings except on weekends. I can't wait 'till Thanksgiving break...

I'm at my best really early in the morning or really late at night (even though at that point I get really neurotic and start talking to the drapery). I only ever do anything productive at horrible hours of the night, i.e., cleaning.

You know, I was walking down the street with a friend the other day when someone yelled from a screen porch informing me that I looked like Willy Wonka (I was wearing a top hat, etc.). I don't quite remember what I said, but it was something along the lines of "no, I'm a transvestite".

I get that a lot.

Last saturday, I and two of my friends decked ourselves out in J-fashion and headed off to a mall. It was greatly amusing, as we had several people take our picture and everyone else ask us what we were dressed up for. Me, I always dress like that, but it was nice to have company this go-round. xD
