Rehearsals will be more often and more intense

Went on a field trip to Arrow Rock, Missouri, population 79. I kid you not. Coming from a small part of town with a pop. of 46,000, I'm all xD cause are school is about twenty-six and a half times bigger. Two and a half hours by bus to the stupid play which was two hours, if even. It was 'Greater Tuna', a two-man show, no to little plot, not great comedy considering it is supposedly a comedy. On the way to the town we saw about four or five XXX-rated video store, and one adult arcade. Kyle Rudolph was making so many jokes on the bus, it was hilarious. Everyone was like, 'pullover, I wanna play some porn-pinball!!' At least I got to skip school.

Mom's been admitted to the hospital.

Friday morning, my mom said she found some blood on her 'stools', about a teaspoon worth, and she was gonna call the doctor. Keep in mind she's far along in menopause. Then the doc said she should come in to be checked. I come home from school and she said that he said it shouldn't be a problem if she doesn't have any solids all weekend cause she diverticulitis (sp?) where her colon has itty bitty rips. I go to babysitting at about 4:30. At around 8:00, Mom comes to the house (we live across the street) and says she's going to go to the hospital because when she tried to go, there was like a bucket of blood in the toilet. Then I cried a lot because the kids were asleep. My sister drove mom to the hospital, and stayed with her until about 2:00am when she finally got out of the emergency room and into a regular room. Then I stayed at my other sister's house because Dad wasn't home, and no one would let me sleep in my house alone with my dog.

Well, Dad flew in at noon this morning to stay with me, and keep Mom comforted, etc. She'll be in the hospital all weekend. She's in no pain, just tired.

I had homecoming today. It was okay, I was rather disappointed. I hung out with a lot of my friends, who were also date-less, but one of my friends, Cheryl, went with one of my guy friends, Grant, and I felt a lot like a third-wheel. Now they are a couple *sigh* I don't think this will end up well, Grant always has messy break-ups with his ex-girlfriends.

Somehow we were talking about The Exorcism of Emily Rose in geometry, and the guy behind me, Keith, says, "Ya know, I was once possessed."
Su: "I'm currently possessed."
Keith: "The devil possessed me-"
Su: "I'm a 4000 year-old dragon trapped within a fourteen year-old girl's body."

And then he looks at me funny and starts laughing. The girl next to him fell out of her chair, and I'm all "what?" trying to be serious but I can't hold it.

1. Decent titles for journals. They were never that great anyway...

2. Patience. I've been getting more and more offended by things my friend has been saying. We insult each other, kind of a buddy-thing, but I've been getting really pissed-off lately. I think she's getting the message though, cause she's been better about it. I know she never really means it, we never do. And another friend, she has a lot of phobias. No small spaces, no big spaces, no heights. Doesn't seem like much? "Clara" and I went homecoming dress shopping the other day with "Annabelle". We couldn't go up the stairs because Clara doesn't like stairs. Elevator was out of the question too. So we went up the escalator. But I had to hold her hand. And in any part that was more than 3 yards of a radius, she had to cling on the crook my elbow. I may be bisexual, prefering boys, but I haven't told more than two people,. It's very hard to explain, but it looked as though we were a couple. I don't want anyone else knowing I'm bi yet, if at all. I was freaking inside, but just nudging Clara away. She wouldn't let go until we got to a store. Just frustrating. I sound totally bitchy, but I can't take it.

3. Inspiration. One of my best friends goes to another school now, she may be reading this. Whenever I was having an artist's block, I would see her and my apprentice in the morning and they would help me out. But now my apprentice is still in middle school (she's two grades younger), and my friend goes to another high school, so I'm in the dumps. The friends that I see most aren't artistic like she is. Hell, one never even wants me to call her an "artist". It's not the same...

4. Outgoingness. If it's not a word, it is now. I've been being more and more submissive, shy. Anyone who has ever met me before wouldn't say I'm reserved at all. So different now. I've lost my spirit...

5. Self- confidence. I'm constantly looking in the mirror, trying to fix my hair, or shirt, or trying to cover some acne. I don't know if this goes under this category, but I can't bring myself to call my friends as much. They never call me. I swear, unless they want something, only one of them calls. It gets lonely. Calling is my job. But then, I shouldn't be complaining. They invite me over all the time, but I rarely invite anyone over. I guess it's a trade-off.

I can't complain about it. She has every right to choose her own friends. Arina thought some more about why she was to bring back this fortune teller to the bar. Probably some kind of gathering...The tent flap blew open fueled by the wind, revealing a tiny griffonish creature hanging to the inside strap.

When Arina entered the tent, Tem was already sitting down at the large, circular table set in the very middle of the tent. "Viean, come here please darling," she said with a sweet tone. As the small, cat sized creature came trotting towards his owner, Tem told her, "Please sit down. It's about time Tianta sent you to me." Viean jumped onto Tem's lap in a graceful leap, and she began to pet him. "Now, are you aware of the symbol you wear around you neck in a chain? Do you have any idea at all what it means?"

"Huh? Oh, no. I just wore it because my mother gave it to me.... I think... I can't really remember her, except for that she gave me this. I think I moved away when I was about five."
