It's been a while since I last updated, so here goes.

Last weekend was Expo. It was absolutely amazing, and I loved every minute of it! As always, the people were lovely and the atmosphere was so friendly

I cosplayed as Tsunade on the Saturday and Gaara on the Sunday and got good feedback on both.

Had a really great time yesterday with ~vampire-queen ~ThePhantomPencil and ~Almightyveg and met so many new people!!!

Ki and I were really early, so we hung around the town for a bit, and bought looooaaaads of food. Yummm...

Then we hung out in the station for a while, waiting for Ed and Stu. Saw a bloke with trousers that were WAAAAAAAAAAY too tight, so I am not officially scarred for life... even MORE scarred for life...

Hopped on a train, got dressed (...put on cosplay stuff...I wasn't wandering around naked until this point...) and trained to london waterloo.

Walked to Charing Cross and met up with loads of other people. Jumped on Ki's back, causing her to drop her milkshake (lol!)

Hey, it's people like me who give cleaners their jobs Â¬Â¬;

When everyone was there, we caught a couple of tubes to Hyde Park, and sat there for a while.

We played twister, limbo, cosplay pyramid and had a food fight. Also just hung around talking, which is also fun.

Then went to orbital manga and raided the store, then went to China town, and then onto the London Trocaderum, where we played DDR for HOURS I TELLS YA. It was really hot in there and Tsunade is NOT a summer cosplay

But I survived to eat another bowl of ramen

In china town, where we sat in the emo corner, like the emos we are (lol)

EMO CORNER FTW!!!

Sadly, after feeding time, we had to leave. So we hopped on a train...and then another train.

And we were home

So yeah, that was our day yesterday!

Everyone we met was really nice and friendly, and we had an absolutely great time!

I broke up from school last friday, when we had torrential downpour. It was great! Everywhere was flooded and, walking home, I don't think I had a single body part that wasn't dripping wet. Probably didn't help that I went paddling fully clothed in a field

Anyyyyways. This weekend was JapanEx. Sadly I only went to the Saturday due to financial reasons (ie I have no money), but what I went to was fantastic. The Yaoi/Yuri shoot was hilarious and I met loads of lovely people!

Another exciting thing - I have another 3 piercings to add to my list. I had another pair put into my ears and I also got my naval done this morning. It really hurts, but I suppose that's a given...

Oh! And I now have red hair, rather than my boring natural colour

I think that's about it...lol

Umm...to be quite honest nothing has really happened lately. School ends in 2 1/2 weeks, and i'm only there for 1. This week i'm on work experience and on sunday at midnight I'm leaving for Germany! I'm really looking forward to it. It should be great!!

Uhh...I've been made deputy music captain, which is cool. The captains are really arrogant, so it's not so good on that aspect...

Cosplay...I won't be able to get the cosplay I was planning finished for Japanex. So that sucks. I think I'll do Shino. It could come in handy if this shitty weather keeps up!

As you may know, I've pretty much got this on sorted. I just need to finish painting my fan. I'm most likely gonna debut it at Expo. It should be a laugh, especially if you happen to catch me trying to sit down...

I'm on the lookout for a good wig at the moment. I had one found, but I didn't have the money to buy it at the time, and then it got sold... So yeah. I also need to do the shoes, which are gonna be bitches to do. Also trying to find a good yellow belt, so if you see any in a British chain store, tell me!

Ideas for future cosplays
Ok, I really want to cosplay someone from the Akatsuki. At the moment its a toss up between Hidan and Tobi, but I'm sorta veering towards Hidan. Purely cus he's cooool. Though Tobi would be a lot of fun...
I'm also planning to do ALL of the Rikku FFX-2 dress spheres, but it's unlikely I'll do them all for another 5/6 years or so =S
Another cosplay I have planned is Haruhi from Ouran Highschool Host Club. The anime kicks ass, and I really recommend it! I think ~vampire-queen may do Tamaki at the same time, so that should be fun.
What else....hmmmm...I don't really know. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?

I'm currently in the north of england, 350 miles away from home and about 30 miles away from where I was born =3

Having a good time, but missing home like hell, especially as...WAIT FOR IT...

So...yesterday we went to a farm and saw the little lambys! *squeeeeee* but then we found out they would soon be on someone's plate. That's why I eat NO lamb

Today we went to the Farne Islands to see the puffins on a boat and I get seasick and icky...not so nice. WE then played crazy golf, and I was owning...sometimes...

So...the place we're staying in is amazing. It's a little sort of cottage thingy with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room ((and a gym ¬¬

) so that's where I spend most of my spare time, as well as playing pool and ping pong ((badly))

Ok, today was my first day at my new job. I work at a small cafe in a town not far from where I live, watiressing. Or so I thought. I spent 5 hours - 5 HOURS - washing dishes...drying dishes...putting dishes in the dishwasher...etc. I swear, if I look at another dishwasher today...I will murder it. Not only did I spend five hours doing that, but SOMEHOW I managed to cut my finger drying a plate, and I kept walking into the bar of the dishwasher. It's one of those industrial ones that you pull the bar down and it closes and washes the dishes automatically. Lucky for me, the bar is RIGHT at my head height...

So yeah

Rant over...

On the plus side, I got £27 for 5 hours - £6 in tips. =3

Ok, yesterday was the musicathon. I lasted 8 1/2 hours before I got dehydrated, exhausted and had a thumping headache and had to go home.

Also yesterday was my first singing lesson. The teacher is really nice, and she's decided to start working on a piece from Phantom of the Opera with me, called 'Wishing you were somehow here again'. It's a really beautiful piece and well suited to my vocal style ((slightly operatic

Today I went into town with Ki and Ed for cosplay stuff, and bought the bikini top for my Rikku cosplay. Looking for a suitable skirt now, so if anyone sees one around ((in england...)) can you let me know where? Fankoo =3

Also did some work on my Rin cosplay. I have pretty much everything apart from the shirt and wig. I sewed the medical apron thing myself, and I'm quite proud of it. Even if it does suck...

Oh oh oh! Friday is the school musicathon ((12hrs straight of non-stop music)) and I'm one of the organisers, so I don't have to attend any lessons or wear my uniform.

Friday is also the day I start my vocal coaching with Kiah, so hopefully I'll have some singy videos on youtube soon

I'm getting a kitty!! From the RSPCA. His name is Barney and he's 18 months and totally adorable, and I'm so excited!!

I'm working on various cosplays for various expos I will be attending this year, namely Rikku Rin and Temari. I also need to make my Gaara gourd, which I will do over either Easter or Summer, but I don't need it 'til October...so I really have no idea when it'll be done, but I'll keep you updated.

These past 3 days have been an absolute shitfest for me..here's why:

Day 1, wednesday:

I broke and dislocated my finger whilst playing basketball in pe. Got taken to a&e and told it wasn't dislocated, just broken. Had a couple of xrays done, then got told it was in fact dislocated and that the nurse got it wrong. I was then taken somewhere to lie down, injected with 2 lots of anaesthetic, which by the way HURTS, then had my finger popped back into place. It took 4 tries before the nurse manages it... One thing a nurse should never say when popping back joints - "There it is...there we go...oh..no...ok, fourth time lucky! :3" So that day was pretty cruddy, though I was hiding how peed off I was cos I usually try to look on the bright side of things. This bright side: I broke a finger on my right hand. I can't write for a while. That means I don't have to do my crappy history homework. Yay!

Day 2, Thursday:

Snow day! Yay! No. No yay. I was ill...my stomach was violently rejecting food and drink. So I was stuck at home in bed... Plus side? I didn't hurt my finger more than it already was by doing something snow-related.

Day 3, Friday:

Got a call from the teacher in charge of the ski trip. She told me I won't be able to go cos it would be unfair on the teachers. Plus side? I get to eat the fruit gums my dad bought be for the journey. And my parents will do something to make up for it....

I was playing bball in PE and tried to catch the ball. I failed miserably. It caught the end of my pinky finger awkwardly and somehow dislocated and broke it. It wasn't really funny at the time, especially when I had to have it popped back into place... I have 2 long cuts on my finger where they injected me with anaesthetic...ouchy

Looking back on it, it was rather hilarious, but that's probably cos I've been stuffed full of painkillers... so anyhoos...I won't be drawing anything to put on my other account ((~risu-chama)) for a while...ah well...

I really don't think I can draw that well...and I just realised we've got photo editing software on my computer, so I'm just gonna take loads of photos and manipulate them. Sometimes grunge,,,sometimes goth sometimes nothing...I love drawing manga, though I'm absolutely shite at it...I'm much better at doing Naruto fanart art (at least I think so anyway) and my favourite thing in the entire world (apart from my lovely lovely boyfriend, and lovely lovely friends) is music. Music expresses that which cannot be put into words but cannot remain silent. You could say I'm a music freak and hey, you'd be 100% correct. So um..that's me in a nutshell. Actually...me in a nutshell would be rather hilarious...heh heh...anyways...the only 4 people who will read this are the people who are watching me...all people I know...obviously I'm not good enough to be watched by anyone else...that's just gay...Oh well
