Dun like as much as beating Deni with bamboo. Still, it was rather fun, and a good way to get my mind off the icky bit of day before that. (woke up seeing that my clock said 10:30, realized my class was at 10:00, jumped up, hit my head, fell out of bed, saw that my watch said 9:40, remembered my clock is wrong, still didn't have time to grab my daily mocha, noticed I had the wrong book AND notebook upon reaching class...) But playing with pointy swords was so much fun. (and they were sharp, though nobody got hurt, except Tracey's tiny scratch...)
Then I hung out for a while in the costume room with Tracey and Leigh. Interesting bit, that. Tracey had the bright idea to force me into a corset... and it was too big... yeah, interestin.
Freaked out a bit after that, cause I had to do my clay project, and the bookstore was out of the clay... so I ened up finding some in the scool section (?!?!) of walmart later. Then I faced the problem of no oven. But Matt is so great. I went over and cooked my duck (Rei now has a b-day present... handmade duck.) at his place. And we cuddled. Feels very nice to cuddle, yesh. And played a game on da computer... strange.
In answer to Deni's question last week... 4. Probably, no stopwatch to be sure.
Notes to other peoples, Congrats on getting all moved to Lira. Late late late happy birthday to Rei, you shall soon have a ducky of baked clay. Myra, let us hope the song is not heard again, cause that scared me. Matt, GLOMP! Thankies for helping bake the duck. Turtle, I can't wait to see you!
And now, I must eat somehing before I pass out. And then I shall get things ready for art class in the morning. Then I shall sleep. Yes, is master plan.

And I'm really hoping making a new one means nobody can use the old one, cause if someone steals the money on it (which wouldn't be hard, in fact, it's scarey how easy it is)... well, that would be bad, as it's kind of a lot... bye bye books for next classes...
That's just the start of the list, there's lots of little things, too, but I just don't feel like ranting anymore, is un-phe-like.
On the bright side, the party was fun last night and I almost won twister. Even though I know nothing of scary movies and lost the trivia better than anyone else... pah. But I knew a little from Zar's comicy things. Oh so pathetic.
Anywho, I'm going to curl up in bed and watch 10th Kingdom till I sleep. Or read Draco-leather-pants fan fiction... while curled up with BBQ da combustable chicken. And I shall eat my after halloween sale candy.

So, yes. Just got the greatest birthday card in the history of birthday cards. There is oh so much love. Mwehehe... jackalopes... love.
The party this weekend was great. We watched eldorado and ami's first love and stars. ^v^ And of course there was icecream cake. Chocolate mint chocolate. Yum. Also got new prismacolors and colored inking pens, so expect something in all grays sometime soon. And some stuff with colored outlines.
Now have a hufflepuff shirt and a little button to match. Joy there is in that, oh yes. And a fuzzy pink jacket!
On a more calm note, I left my phone charger at home. Mom's mailing it, but for a few days, my cell will prolly be off unless I'm expecting a call or making one. Only for a few days till I get the charger back, but I don't want anyone to think I'm avoiding them.
Not much else to say here, and I've gotta get ready for class and all, so I'm just going to go now. Ja!

Though is kinda funny, cause Myra did beat me the other day. After she set a Lv 10 limit and all I had was trade fodder to fight with... But yeah, her legend birds went down. (Mwehehehehe) But it's funny when we both switch out at the same time... to the exact same two pokemon... and then use the same moves... that was beyond weird.
Am listening to the wicked soundtrack, which is the reason for the title, if anyone wondered.
I have no art to upload at the moment, but that will prolly change, as I've asked for prisma colors for my b-day.

several years ago I saw a movie on TV but I've no idea what channel or the movie's title. It was a modern version of the cupid and psyche myth. There are two parts I remember.
1) Cupid (who was going by a different name) had a meet the parents dinner with the girl, and is asked something about his job. He tells the truth and they think hes joking. Something like that.
2) The girl had to climb a building and touch a statue.

In other news, the car is fixxed, and wasn't the 600 dollar problem. Only a 300 dollar one. Which is very good.
Spent the night with EHAB the other day. Had a blast, and am working on a comic strip about the game of lotr trivia. It ended at a tie, when we both had all squares and got to the middle, and then asked impossible questions about the making of the movie.
Comic will have Misadventure charas.
Such fun.
Tomorrow is, hopefully, spending the day with Turtle. Like I promissed WEEKS ago... Sorry.
After that, all the nongraduated peeps start school again, so I get to bug other people. Like Kit. ^v^
Also planning on going to buy more prisma colors sometime soon. Before it's impossible to find the old tips, cause the new ones seem to big for my little pictures.
Which means no hidalgo dvd, or at least waiting a good long while... like christmas. Poo.
Hope I can find a job at Troy really soon. Mweh.

Bad news: My Granddad is still sick in the hospital. It's nothing super serious, but it's still pretty bad. I'll spare everyone the details, but he's hurting. So tomorrow my Mom and I are going down there to see them. I'll be back late sunday, but prolly won't really feel like seeing anyone for a while... I dunno, I just don't like this. Any prayer for my Granddad would be most appreciated.

Saw Lil'sister Turtle today, we went shopping and I got my Mom's birthday present. We took a little time to just hang out, but I really would have liked to spend more time with her. I really had wanted to see Deni, too. Her cell was off, and I found out she was working. I need to be working, too.
I STILL need to finish typing chapter nine. I'd give the excuse of AB's handwriting being so hard to read, but really, I've just been easily sidetracked with seeing people I've not seen in a while and reading some books and several other things.
I do feel bad about getting so little done, and won't get much done tomorrow. I have to get myself, my Mom, and my brother ready to go. Mom and David are heading to see the family in Mississippi. We just found out that my Granddad is back in the hospital. It's nothing serious, but they want to go down there. If I wasn't already planning on the rafting trip, I'd be down there too. Really, though, I get depressed when I see him like that, so it's a good think I'll be elsewhere.
Changing to a less depressing topic, I've had some more ideas for my book. Saddly, they came during the take off of a plane ride, and I couldn't write them down... so all I remember is that they involved a garden... But seeing as all the parts I've tried to write have come out very badly, it's not such a big loss. I'm starting to get writer's block and don't much like it.
I'll stay up and try to finish the colab chapter anyhow, because I've already had a long enough vacation as it is, and should get it done.
With art, I'm working mostly on the prints I'll be selling at AWA, and I have no plans to post them. Or, perhaps I'll post the line art before I color them. It really depends on how they comeout without color. But at the moment I've only got pose studies. I've started several smaller pictures, but haven't finished anything. I don't know when I will. I don't plan to enter the summer contest at fancharries, because even with an idea (which I don't have) I wouldn't have time.
Perhaps I'll get some art done while I'm on the rafting thing with Rei, maybe.
I have so much to get done tomorrow, but I really want to see Deni and Zucini. I don't know. I'll call them and see about friday, as everyone but my stepdad will by leaving. Then I'm staying up till I've typed the rest of the chapter and have it posted. Then I'll get to sleep for a few hours before starting laundry so people can pack.
Ok, I've rambled quite long enough. On to the phone and then to work.
Pheona ]]> ~Phe-chan http://Phe-chan.deviantart.com/journal/2883022/ http://Phe-chan.deviantart.com/journal/2883022/ Wed, 14 Jul 2004 18:38:08 PDT didn't know it before hand, but we left the morning after I got here to go to yellowstone. it was really a great trip, but seemed very long and... cut off from everything. i did kinda expect to have cell coverage when we were in the city areas, only had it in jackson. been in so many states i lost count, and have done too much to type it all up here. instead, i'll just say what stuck out the most.
saw lotsa animals. moose, elk, bison, a black bear, all kindsa birds. and the wolf. i need to rant on the wolf. SHE WAS SO BEAUTIFUL! black and pretty and so fast! We were really lucky to see her, and I got all this info on her and her pack. There is such joy. The guy who pointed the wolf out to use and let me look through his scope before dad had found her on his, was really great. He also wrote a book. I'm going to try and lend it out to certain peeps I know would love it, but it's only half mine, and David hasta read it first, so I can't promise it'll be soon of that the book'll stay in good condition. The boy has no respect for books, and I don't really have the funds to buy a second 20 buck paperback.
Other than animals, the whole place was great. Didn't smell to good, but was pretty anywho. Old Faithful was pretty neet. We got to see a real great fireworks display and went to a cowboy dinner/show. Biggest chunk-o-meat I've ever seen in my life. And we went shopping. Got me a jackolope.. or however that's spelled. Like a rabbit with antlers. His name is Thumper. Also bought taffy, which is almost gone now. Got some other stuffs too, will show off when I get home. Went to an outdoor concert. Jaz stuff, which is fun, even if it's not my favorite.
We also went on a trailride/cookout. not sure how long we rode the houses, but my bum was plenty sore afterwards. Loved every minute of it.
