Although, in case anyone is interested, I will post a picture of Six Flags Discovery Kingdoms new dolphin calf, Maverick. That is once I get a picture of him. But until then and probably after that, I will not be too active.

but hopefully we won't have to do that. :] so far i'm happy with it.

anywaysss onto the trip report.

so we got to the park and saw Sonny and Brandy swimming around in the dolphin harbor viewing and I wanted to play with them. So i got the slinky and Brandy started playing with me. Sonny was too busy with his ball :]. People loved seeing Brandy play. Then he swam away after snapping a few pictures and we headed to Dolphin Discovery and Dolphin Encounter. The dolphin discovery pools are done being painted (and they look pretty good!) and they are filled with water, but no phins in there yet. My mom says they are probably just trying to stabilize the water and everything. I can't wait to have them in there again. So we just went back to Dolphin Encounter and Courtnee was there opening the viewing side of the pool. We went in and played with Bella and Cupid for some time. It is always tons of fun to play with them. And we got to watch Cupid play with Courtnee as she took a cooler and splashed water to him. Bella even got in on the fun some but she thought it was more fun to watch people in the window. :] As we were leaving Dolphin Encounter we saw Jasmine and she spyhopped some then when she took a breath it sounded like she had coughed and was raspy. I hope she is alright. At Shouka Stadium we played with Mattie and Sadie and saw Merlin and Chelsea just swimming around. Then we watched the Shouka Show and had perfect seats for pictures. Then we had to leave cause my friend wasn't feeling good. But i'm pretty darn happy with the pictures I got and i'm going back again sometime within the next 3 weeks :] YAY.

One last thing, it has now officially been a year since Stormy, the best dolphin in the world to me, passed away. I hate not seeing her now. She left so fast from my life. When I go to marine world I can't help but ask myself where she is, then remember. She still has had the biggest impact on my life. It sucks being without her. She made me so happy, the way she knew me and looked at me to entertain her and be her friend. To lose someone like that is horrible. She is a dolphin, but she meant so much to me and my life. I wish she would have had a couple more years so I could have spent more time with her. But we don't always get what we want... Stormy should never be forgotten. RIP beautiful Stormy. I love you so much baby.

Me and my best friend were taking pictures in the hot tub and she slipped and her and my camera fell in. Now it won'y upload, take pictures, or let you see whats on the memory card. My mom is kinda mad.

I have wanted a new one though and it was having some problems.
I'm hoping for one with a better flash and zoom.
Any suggestions? But they can't be those really expense, really complex cameras.

When we first got there we met our trainer Katie. Then we went into their lab and saw a baby harbor seal. It was adorable. Then they told us what goes on at the lab. After that we went outside and looked around animal care a little. We headed down to Dolphin Stadium so we could get dressed. After putting on our wetsuits we went over to Rocky Point Preserve and did our first session with Nitro. We got to give him some comands and feed him and do some "relationship building" with him. He was a cutie. Then it was time for our dunk. We all got in the freezing cold water with googles and watched the dolphins watch us. It was cute. Captain and Beaker were the only ones really interested in us. I loved how I blew bubbles at Captain and she would blow them back! Then we got out and did a "hot squirt" where we take a hose and pour warm water down our wetsuits to take off the chill. It was nice for the first 10 minutes. Lol. Then we went back to animal care and got to learn husbandry with Cometta, Dottie, and Cascade. My group had Dottie. We got to lay her out and rub her down some. and even got to get a high five! It was fun. Then we had to get down to the real business, cleaning. Thats right. We had to get on our hands and knees and scrub algae off of the walls of the tank. But after we got to give the little show boys(Polka, Sydney, Pacino, and Kenobi) some toys and food. After that we had to go back and get changed again for lunch. Lunch was pretty good but I was too excited so I didn't feel like eating much. Then we went back again to change and do our in water interaction. Now when they advertise T4D, they say you get to SWIM with the dolphins. All we did was the DIP program with some other people who were just doing that program. That was really disappointing. I was so excited for this whole thing beacuse my dream is to swim with dolphins. And instead we do a little partial in-water thing with the dolphins. Most of the stuff we had them do, we had already done with dolphins earlier that day. I'm still pretty disappointed. It definately wasn't as good as I thought it would be. But we did get to meet Buster, Toby, and Maggie. I got to hug Toby and give her a kiss. And Buster is just adorable. Oh yeah and I took Toby on a "walk" lol. And then Katie took us to pet Bat Rays and see the Killer Whales. Orkid was the only one in there when we went and she came up and stared at us for a second twice but wasn't very interested. Then we went and changed and showered and our T4D was over.

After me and my mom went to Shamu Close-Up and I tried to interact some but they weren't interested very much. So we went to the Commies. They are adorable and we actually interacted some with them. They were pretty fun. Then we went into Wild Arctic but the belugas didn't pay any attention to anyone so we left again and went to RPP. I did feeding time with Stien, Bodine, Beaker, Nitro, Zana, Captain, and Venus. It was pretty fun but those babies sure lose interest fast. Haha. They are cute though! Then we went to Shamu Close-Up again and tried to interact and Kalia was playing with some chick with a red ball but her and Nakai did interact a tiny bit with me. Then me and my mom went to see Believe. And you know who I saw?! PETE!!! I was so happy to see him back at work. It was just awsome!! But the show seemed kinda short. Then I went back to Shamu Close Up and tried to interact but no one wanted to play at all. Then my mom wanted to go home early and I really didn't want to since I didn't get to go the next day like we had planned. So I was kinda disappointed when leaving the park. But I did have a lot of fun too. Not the greatest pictures but my mom has a two day pass for sometime this year so I know I will be going again sometime soon! YAY!

Second. Little Mattie is the last deviantion I will have up until I get back from SWC. Which reminds me ONLY ONE MORE WEEK. I can't wait! I'm so excited. I will have so much to put up after that! I'm so excited. I will only be my second time to SeaWorld in my life. And my first time seeing Kalia(the cutie )!

As for life at home, well it's alright. But I hope I will be going to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom(Marine World's new name.) on opening day which is March 24th. I miss all my babies so bad. I have been talking to one of Shouka's trainers, Katie, and she says everyone is doing good down there. I just miss them all so bad. Also a new photo release went out on SFDK's web site, apparently Merlin picked the Colts to win the superbowl tomorrow. Now I hope the colts win because if Merlin likes them, well then I like them too :] How cute! Merlin is my super awsome slinky buddy. Lol. I miss seeing that boy. And his adorable daughters! And Becky of course.

Anyways, pictures coming soon and sorry I haven't been commenting many people. I have been really slow lately and life is just taking over me.

I have a rabbit show tomorrow so I have to go to sleep because I need to be awake by 5:30 am for it. Joyyy. Just how I love waking up on Saturdays but I do love my bunnies :] Maybe I will post some pictures of my bunnies on here. Who knows. They are mighty cute! :] Well hope everyone is doing good. Oh and is anyone planning on being at SeaWorld on Feb 10th or 11th? Thats when I will be there. The 10th is my TFAD. AWSOMEE!! Yay.
