Now, let's get down to the bottom of things.

I made my story as a GIFT--that's right, a G-I-F-T to my friends.
I WILL eventually include all of you in it, but you'll just have to be patient.
If you ask, then there's a good chance I probably won't continue it, and I might just scrap it.
The reason is because you're asking for a gift.
If you ask for a gift, then it doesn't become a gift, it becomes a request.
Keep in mind that I am writing this story for fun, and for your guys' pleasure. If you don't like the way the story is going, then I just might stop writing it altogether. This was supposed to be for fun. So don't make it look like I hate you just because you're not in my story... like I said I will eventually try to include all of my friends in here. It takes time.

Thus, I will not reply to comments on my story that don't directly deal with it or have questions like "HEY PUT ME IN THERE OMG I WANNA BE IN THE STOORRRRYYYYYYYYYYY" and I just might hide those comments altogether. I am not going to be walked all over in my story just because it isn't the way you want it. Hey, I'm only human, I MAKE MISTAKES TOO. So please, don't bag on me if there's something about it you don't like. I will accept criticism, like if you see a major gramatical or spelling error, or if you see something that doesn't make sense. In that case I can and will change it. But if you're upset about one of your characters not being in the story or your characters not getting enough "screen time," then I count that as destructive criticism. (The only exception is if one of your characters act out of their personality. I will try and better get your character's personality right in the next chapter, but I can't change paragraph after paragraph just to fit your needs. Like I said, this story is being written for fun.)

I am not talking to any one particular person here, I am being very general. You give me what you want, which is patience, positive feedback, and maybe some constructive criticism, and I'll give you all a story to be in with me. But if not... well then there has to be consequences. I hope you all read this...

Oh, and last night he yelled about--get this--my brother text messaging on his cellphone, of all things! Now he says he can't text message anyone while he's home and he says he's, and I quote, "sick and tired of all these damn phones." So yeah. My dad's even more of a bitch than ever.

As some of you already know from my MSN (which I cannot access because I'm using my college computer at the moment, whoop-de-doo), I cannot be on that much anymore. It seems that my parents are coming on to me too quick for me to handle, and now they want me to limit my time on the internet. So, from now on, here's how it's going to be:

1.) I cannot be on Saturdays and Sundays anymore.
2.) I will only be on Fridays IF AND ONLY IF my dad decides to leave house and run errands for a while.
3.) I can be on Mondays through Thursdays no later than 5:00PM (Pacific Time) -- the time my dad gets home.
4.) If I want to use the Internet while my dad is home, I can take the cable that goes to the internet and shove it up my--oh wait, can't say that around my friends...

And here's why: My dad has ALWAYS hated the internet ever since I've been "addicted" to it. Now, there's a new study coming out [link] that says cellphone (not Internet) waves can cause brain cancer. But a news report on NBC just last Thursday said that ALL Electronic devices, including INTERNET ROUTERS, can cause brain cancer. And my dad, pbeing the paranoid pessimist of an internet hater he is, decided to soak all this information up like a sponge, and now he's using that as ammunition to keep me away from the Internet.\

Then, he started giving me lectures on what else I could be doing, and says "reading a book is a way to connect to someone else's mind." What he doesn't realize is that you guys are my friends, and that you're practically the only friends I have. If anything, I want to connect to your hearts, NOT to the mind of a storybook writer who's long deceased... but I'll admit I liked the stories when I was a kid. I'm too grown up for those stories now people.

My mom was absolutely no help at all... I was lucky enough to take off on bike and sneak away with just my 4GB keychain drive. SO this is the way it has to be from now on...

I'm sorry Courtney, I don't know how much more of this I can take... for all I know they could limit my time on the computer altogether!

If I see ANY trolls roaming about on this journal, ALL their messages will be marked as spam. NO EXCEPTIONS. Well, maybe just one exception in particular... (yeah, you know who you are dude

).

But seriously, why the hecy do they care what I do on the Internet? And why does my dad have to be such a sarcastic--oh wait, can't say that word either...

Please take on my Secret Santa Request (prev. journal). It would really mean a lot to me now... I seriosuly don't know how I can stand 4 more years of my parents placing limits on me and treating me like their freaking 10-year-old child, even though I'm MUCH older. But the reason why I hafta put up with them is because of several reasons: ONE. I have nowhere to go. TWO. I can't afford a job in this slumping economy to take care of myself. THREE. I have a disability so I CAN'T take care of myself, and my mom made that very clear this morning. FOUR. My parents practically WANT me to stay with them so I can do all their stuff for them; since they're lucky enough to even have jobs they have a excuse... I don't.
I applied for around 30 jobs at every single place I could find. No one hired me. Not a single company cared about the fact that I'm a human being and I need a job too, like everyone else in this lame excuse for a "free country."

And what about my friends IRL? I have few. VERY FEW. I can't even see ~Gothic-Candy anymore because her and I can't be online at the same time as her anymore because of my dad. Plus, soemthing happened between her and my brother IRL which I'm NOT going to get into, but let's just say she won't be visiting our house anymore because of it. So don't ask.

And through all this, ~CourtneytheEchidna has shown me love, hope, and kindness, things that, at this point in my life, I can't POSSIBLY live without. The stres of living home with your parents and not being able to leave is just too much to bear at this point. I could either go insane or go suicidal. But instead I'm gonna tough it out for her.

I'm going to feel horrible about making a new MSN account on her... I feel terrible about doing this, but it must be done. People have to realize I'm not actually capable of multi-tasking and that I'm not a big MSN whore... that's why I made another account, a SILENT account, and I will only add people who are new that I just met, or people I am BIG friends with... other than that though, I won't add you at all... no matter what you say... I've already told one of my friends my new account--again, not mentioning who...
Among you who get this message and are well-behaved towards me on MSN I will note you on dA beforehand so you won't feel alarmed about a "stranger" adding you on MSN. You know who you are...

Actually, it's been up for a while

I've been meaning to think how I should sort you guys out as to what ranking you are.
I'm definitely putting Court at the top though, no matter what X'DDD

But as to how the rest of you want to be on there...
I need some ideas...

should I sort you out by your Fursona's race, like hedgehog or whatever? And if so, which should be higher and which should be lower?

Or should I just sort you out by how you look in my dA family?* C'mon, I need some ideas people~~~ X'DDD

I'm thinking of putting together an Irma the Hedgehog video... I already have the theme song I'll be using so all I hafta do is find more pics of the green hedgie from great dA artists. I'll even be watching them, and I plan to put together an IrmaTHFanClub! So be on the lookout for that!

Also, I might even post some screenshots of me playing Sonic Robo Blast 2 as a green Knuckles recolor, and maybe even some gameplay of it on YouTube... I dunno

(I don't know how to make .wad files--YET.)

Well I played Super Mario Bros. 2 and forgot how to beat it... damnit. I lost all the 15-some lives I had, and I died on World 6-2... and it was an epic fail. X'D

When I learn how to make .wad files, I might as well make Dice, Irma, and PURITY

Although I'd hafta learn more 'bout Purity before I make her into a playable character... I hope puritylf4 has a bio of her chara or sumthin'... ah well.

I already know Irma's stats, so her mid-air ability will be swimming. Also, I'll up her acceleration speed so she's not affected much by water... but I'm too lazy to actually make sprites X'D

My best friend's girlfriend. She leaves nice comments on all my work. And she's always there for me, like a good friend should be.

We chat a lot on MSN too. She's funny, smart, and a very talented artist... AND fan-fic writer! hehe and only I would know that because she reads me her fan fictions, and I leave my own commentary showing my interest in her stories. She's also a fan of the Descent series, just like me! AND she has a Nintendo Wii! (I wish I had one T_T)

I just hung over at my friend Andy's house (aka ~Reptillicus) for 6 HOURS STRAIGHT! HELL YES!

And here's what we did:
*Played the Super Mario All-Stars game (he beat me 7 out of 5 times

) MUSHROOM!!!!!!!!!
*Gave him the following:
-Sonic Robo Blast 2
-D2X-XL (version 1.14.145--found a MAJOR bug that made the game unplayable--crashes every time a mission finished loading, which sux)
-Enough luck to get farther on his Gradius 3 game! Of course, I bring good luck to anyone I meet IRL, I'm nice like that :3

-a challenge on the befoementioned Mario game X'DDD (MUSHROOM!!! Sorry, I couldn't resist X'D)

and yeah, that's why I wasn't on that much yesterday... because I was with him for a long period of time

I'm working on a mission for D2X-XL that deals with a complete remake of the Descent 1 Level: Earth Strike. If you would like to help on it, note me and I'll give you further info.

I finally found my SNES Controller! It's been a long time since I even touched my SNES, and already I got a kick out of it!

And what did I play? Why, I played Super Mario All-Stars, Classic NES Mario FOR THE WIN! I got to world 8-4 super-quick (I kept on losing my fireflower) and I died and lost the 2 of my lives I worked so hard to get, as well as the 5 I started with lol... but it was fun. The controls were kinda sticky, so I guess my controller needs cleaning...? o_0 LOL but it was good fun. ^^

Now I don't know what else I'll play, but I'm sure it'll be something fun... after all, I have, like, at least 20 old SNES Games AND a Super GAME BOY so it'll keep me busy for a while during the time I mourn the temporary loss of my NGC... for my brother got in trouble for playing it so I had to hide it... o.o

Dice was born and raised as a normal green echidna in his dimension with his sister, Rika the Raccoon. When Dice got in an accident, he needed Rika's healing powers to recover, resulting in the mutation of his tail and head, his head instantly being the more noticeable, even though he has a longer tail and a clover tip made of flesh and bone.

7. Where do they live?
His home was the Clover Hill Zone. Now, he lives in Sonic's universe, on the Floating Island at Ginger the Wolf's home.

8. Do they live with anybody?
Dice lives with his lover Courtney, his sis Rika, their kids and all of Courtney's sisters and brothers (which there's actually quite a lot of! O_O)

9. Do they have any particular powers / skills?
Actually yes ^^

10. If so what?
He can fly on wings of flame, Phoenix wings, that grow out when his heart is pure or he's at his highest level of emotion. He can also wield fire, and uses it to shoot or charge up fireballs and throw fire punches and uppercuts. More use of fire at once hurts Dice though.

11. Do they use a weapon?
Dice wields gadgets made to look like dice that have a variety of properties, their usefullness based on gtheir result. His common weapons are Dice Bombs, which create explosions that have a certain blast radius and intensity based on their roll.

12. How would you describe their personality
Caring and sweet, silly at times, and the kind of person who would make you feel better when you're feeling blue.

13. Any funny or particular traits they have?
Dice has a weakness for most things cute and cuddly, and he can't drink a lot of Mountain Dew... it upsets his digestive system.

You betcha!

Yes, a wolf by the name of Courtney.

Many... most resulting in failures...

Also, I've had great dreams the past few nights about you guys, mostly dealing with being on dA, hanging out and saving the world from whatever! ^^

Dream 1: D2X-XL Screw-Up
In this dream, it basically went into a nightmare when a Medium Lifter I was fighting dropped a Smart Mine while clawing me. When the Smart Mine detonated, the Smart Blobs hit me and caused my game to crash by overloading my Shields (they went above 500)--that's when I woke up in the middle of the night... >_>

Dream 2: Global Chatter
This dream I had when I fell back asleep. Yes, my first dream I've had about my dA friends since I left... I dreamt Veil the Bat, Me (as Dice the Echidna) and Irma the Hedgehog were all in some sort of chatting program or something... can't remember exactly what we said, but it was a warm dream about me and my friends. ^_^

Dream 3: Enter the Neko Knuxa
A dream featuring Neko the Echidna, we had to infiltrate some PTMC mine or something. We had all these weapons which got more powerful based on a certain die roll... I'll admit, the graphics in my dream, as well as the gameplay, may have been kinda boring, but I'm not one to complain. It was an awesome dream...

Dream 4: Quest for Irma
Yeah, a dream about the green hedgie herself... I dreamt I had to go all the way to Russia to meet her, as well as learn how to speak Russian myself. It was an interesting dream... what's even weirder was that I dreamt Nica the Echidna had a brother and he was hanging out at Irma's place! Sadly, Nica herself was nowhere to be found... but it was still a nice dream and I liked it very much. ^_^

Dream 5: Worldwide Dice
Yup, my rascally Echidna self has really done it this time... XD In this dream I dreamt I really DID have a YouTube Account (which probably won't happen for a while) AND I made pictures of my friends on dA (new pictures I never even made if RL yet O_O) and yes, I was popular among all people! I guess it was almost like looking into the future... it was awe-inspiring. ^_^ Also, I had another theme song that somehow included the word "cube..." it sounded catchy and I wish I could remember the lyrics / the music itself, but I can't remember either or! At least I had a dream about myself being cool and stuff. (It was the first dream I ever truly had starring my green-echidna self!)

Dream 6: Dice and Akiza Affairs!

Oh god, I think I've been playing too much Yu-Gi-Oh or something... I dreamt that my partner was Akiza Izayoi (and yes that's how it was spelled in my dream O_O), and boy I tell you she was all over me... And since she had a few FIRE monsters in her deck, like Black Rose Dragon, Phoenixian Cluster Armaydis, and Lonefire Blossom, that only fueled her passion for me... it was too lusturous though! Ick! I mean, c'mon people! AKIZA IS A WITCH WHOSE DUELS MAKE YOU TAKE DAMAGE IN RL! AND HER ASSOCIATE, DIVINE, WANTED TO RULE THE WORLD 'CAUSE HE WAS THE LEADER OF THE ARCADIA MOVEMENT!!!! WTF!!?? How could I EVER fall in love with her?????? (Makes me wish Courtney was in that dream so I would've fallen in love with HER instead... damn, then she'd be upset--er, then maybe not! O_O)

That's all the dreams I had on my vacation! ^_^
But enough about that. Now, for what I actually did on my vacation...

I went jet skiing! That was super-cool-awesome all right!

Also, I met a bunch of cool people, and at my Aunt Shirley's house they had this arcade machine with 200+ games on it, from all types of consoles, everything from NES to ATARI to SNES! I had a blast with it (and it even had Gradius--man, that game is hard, yet addicting! O_O) I also went on a boat cruise called "Chase-N-Fins," and that's practically what they do--they chase fins: Dolphin fins, that is! We must've seen at least 20 of 'em floating about the waters. And I got to see my old friend Alicia, which really made my day... To top off our vacation, we went to Hooters and I got to play me some big bass pinball--along with feeding seagulls and getting my grubby little hands on a major Hot Dog topped and loaded with onions, cheese, and of course, chili!

AND I was able to give her the pen drive I was meaning to give her for a long time! ^^ She liked both, and she even took a picture of Candy with her cellphone so she could look at it whenever she wants!
5. BAD NEWS about ~SonicCandyShop: Her boyfriend broke up with her for the STUPIDEST REASON: Because they "had nothing to talk about." W.T.F. And now, she's lonely again... but I'm sure that one day she'll find someone. ^_~

Hey everyone! I've got some great ideas for drawing stuff, but I don't know where to begin or what to draw. Also we (my family) might be going on vacation to Florida, so to be safe I won't be accepting any requests. I will, however, be asking your opinion as to what I should draw next... I have a list of things for you to pick and I want your opinions on what I should start first! ^_^

1: Another picture of Dice taking his friends out for drinks (and tell me who you think I should put in it from a choice of up to 4 people, I will pick the most popular 3 out of the bunch). Here are some examples [link] and [link]

And the power formed when two people link up is known as "Link Power." So, it is basically a form of spiritual power. How to apply this to deviantART is still a mystery to me, though... any suggestions on how we could harness Link Power? ^^

Now, before you answer my question, note that the following two rules apply with dA Brotherbands and Link Power:
1. You can only add a person to your BrotherBand if that person is watching you and you are watching that person SIMULTANEOUSLY. If you are watching that person (added them to your Friends list), but you don't have him or her in your Watchers list, then the BrotherBand is broken, and you cannot add that person as one of your "Brothers."
2. The Link Power you gain from that person is determined by how long they have been a deviant. If they've been a deviant for 4 months, they give you +40 Link Power. If they've been a deviant for 9 months, they give you +90 Link Power. You get it, right?

Now, there are 2 things to consider. First of all, +10 is the lowest you can go, so even if they've just recently become a deviant (within the last week or so) you'll still gain +10 Link Power from them, provided the conditions for Rule No. 1 are met. Secondly, there is a limit to just how much LP you can gain from someone. It cannot exceed +120 (a deviant for 1 year). Hey wait--I've been a deviant for one year--so that means I give you all +120 Link Power!!! How cool is THAT!?

~Anyway, back to the subject at hand. In some cases, you may know the deviant really well, or you may be their best friend or dA lover or something like that (e.g. for me: ~CourtneytheEchidna and ~Reptillicus). In these cases, multiply the Link Power they give you by 50% more. So, they give you +15 Link Power every month they've been a deviant instead of +10. Got it? Good.

Now, with that out of the way, let's get my brothers on here! ^^

Also, quite a lot has happened with me lately, and I haven't been on dA much because of it.
So let me just say when I'm on and when I'm not... (PACIFIC TIME, TYVM)
*ahem*
On Mondays-Thursdays, I'm usually on from 8:00am-12:00am (depending on what time I get up in the morning and whether or not I have chores that I need to do), and usually get off at 5:00pm. Because of certain conditions, these are also the only days that I am allowed to scan anything on my own...
On Fridays, my dad is home all day (as I NOW JUST FOUND OUT) so I might not even be online then. And, on saturdays, my dad makes me do yard work outside for about 4 hours straight (and he turns into a monster if we don't help him as soon as he calls us), and on these days I'm not on until 2:00pm (which I am right now, when I typed this).
On Sundays it's completely random, so I don't know what's going to happen on those days... especially since we don't go to church because of an incident that happened with some very "unChristianly-like" manners....
However, consider yourself lucky if the following is true:
1. I am online Wednesdays later than 5:00pm because my dad had a meeting to go to.
2. I scan on a day other than Monday-Thursday because my mom is using the only computer with a scanner hooked up to it (I'm using my laptop right now).
3. With 2 in mind, I'm on later than 5:00pm on a day OTHER than Wednesday because my mom is also using the Internet. ^^ YAYZ!
4. I'm actually online Friday because my dad went somewhere for a bit.
5. I'm actually online on Sunday... w00t. ^^

This is just so you know and understand why I am or am not online...
Please don't get upset with me.... this is really nothing to get upset over and I wish I could be online more, but with my dad hating internet and video games, it's become very hard to get internet access without him yelling and making a fuss... so sorry. v_v

On a lighter note, I saw the X-Men Wolverine movie, and it was quite the violent movie. Unfortunately, my brother didn't come with us, so he missed out on a movie I'm sure he would've enjoyed seeing.

I just found out that my Mom got laid-off her job, so now we're making even less money than usual, and that means I'll have to cut back even more on my power bill. Also, with the way the education is here in Nevada, I am getting lower grades as a result of my professor not knowing what he's doing and constantly canceling class every day... and my mom thinks she has a right to be upset at ME if I get a low grade. Shouldn't the professor have something to do with the students' success as well?

Anyway, I'm so happy that I can still be on as often as I'm used to! Of course, that's only 'cause my mom is home and she's using the Internet also ^_^

I just realized something... all this time I said I was gonna draw pics of Shade for Irma... turns out that I drew pics of Irma instead; but she liked those even more!

Well, now it's back to submitting deviations and possibly going on DMU for me. Oh, *that* AND getting ready for my college semester finals, which take place on the 2nd week of May if I'm not mistaken. ^_^

And I have more DA friends than ever, and one of them actually plays DMU too 'cause I got him interested in it! ^_^ I'm so happy I have so many friends by my side--I think I'll make myself a new Avi! ^_____^

Now my parents are trying to limit me as much as possible to the things I enjoy doing most, and I can't be on the Internet or even my Laptop as often as I used to be. This is also becaue of my dad, who is a video game hater, a hypocrite (Do as I say, not as I do), an alcoholic, AND to top it all off he's always on my ass. So I don't even know if I'll be on as often as I used to be...

sorry if this concerns any of you, but I can't be online as much anymore; only like 1 to 1 1/2 hours a day, unlike the near limitless time I was used to... again, I'm sorry.

Just one of the many reasons why being over the age of 18 and still living at your parent's home is a BAD thing... >______<

Technically, I've already begun what I call "psychic requests." My friend thought of the idea (Reptillicus, a.k.a. "Andy"), and we simply thought of drawing pictures that people might request. Example: the "If A met B" pictures, of which 1 have already gave me a friend with very positive energies surrounding her and is a total Shade the Echidna freak, which I think is pretty kewl. And I've decided I'll draw more pics of Shade just for her! ^_^

Another positive note: My "tired in the middle of the day" feeling is wearing off, so I'm full of energy every day and thus able to hopefully come up with more works of art. Being able to scan and submit them is even harder, though, as I can only use my mom's scanner at certain times, and she makes fun of my drawings and goes "What's this?" or "You put this and that on your character!" It's like she's trying to govern what I draw / scan, all the while making fun of my work too... <_<

...but enough of that. I shouldn't worry too much; cause nearly every time I need to use the scanner it's always right there when I need it (and if you wanna know why I usually scan on Tuesdays it's because no one's home but me and me alone, giving me just enough space to be the deviant artist and computer geek I was born to be). It's also the day I have my computer-programming class, so yeah! ^_^

Usually when I say I'm going to do something on dA (like 95% of the time), I usually do it! Of course, when I actually finish it (if it's artwork

Yeah--I'm a very nice guy. I'll usually befriend anyone, regardless of what other people say. I'm very kind-hearted (as you could probably already tell

), but if you make rude comments about my work, tell me off, or are rude to me in any fashion then you make a terrible mistake in the process... for I have a very fragile heart... T_T
(Don't worry, I take criticism on dA very well, though, and am more than happy to hear your opinions. ^_^) If I ask to be your friend, and you say yes, you will not regret it, I guarantee you that much. ^_^

About Yu-Gi-Oh:... yes, I am a YuGiOh! fan. I even make my own cards!

I like to draw the images myself on most of the cards though because I don't want to get involved in any copyright issues and stuff... aside from that though, it shows just how creative and talented I am, and I encourage all others with great talent to do the same with their cards! ^_~
Only if there's something I can't draw I use it... but then I credit the work to its original owner, letting others know that I didn't draw it, which is still okay. :3

If you have any friends on dA, then any friends you have can easily be friends of mine. Of course, that's what dA is all about: it's a community where people online can interact with each other through the power of art!

And I solely believe that! ^^

Also, if any of you speak Russian (like I know

do)... and you want to leave a comment in either Russian or English I will accept either or, and in some cases both! I will have no problem translating for you. If you speak to me in Russian, then I will speak back in Russian. ^_^ (This also applies to the deviations I have submitted that are pure English but have characters from Russia. Again, don't be shy: if you're not confident in speaking English speak in the language of your country and I will gladly reply back in the same language.

I've only submitted a few pictures, but I plan to get more in later on.
While my collection's building, I'm showing some of my pics I drew to my girlfriend in a (somewhat good condition

) portfolio. Even SHE thought my pic of Vala [link] was cute! x3

I am happy to say that I (Dice the Echidna) have finally made it in CC's famous fan-comic: HOLLOW MAGIC!! The first page of him I saw [link] I had a good feeling that was my main FC, although I wasn't sure... (darn, I still need to draw him! xD) ...and yeah, although Candy and Dice didn't quite get off to a good start! xP [link]

But I digress. Holly (a.k.a. Dancefreak and Andy's GF for a good long time) has favorited all my pics (ty-ty-ty!) and even given me a suggestion that I'll shoot myself in the foot for from now on if I don't take it... xD Also, someone randomly added me as their friend and watcher (Soul890) and so I decided to watch and befriend him; he's got quite the collection of Sonic FC's--even more than I'd come up with in a year! ^_^ Haven't got quite a lot of faves on my Vala pic, but hey--it'll get there, I'm sure of that! ^_~

I wonder what I'll get 4 my B-Day. Who knows...

After posting quite a few pictures, and faving many others, I have come to the point in which a journal entry MUST BE MADE in order to gain some popularity on my part. Best wishes to all; just because it's MY B-DAy doesn't mean I shouldn't care about my friends as well, I'm not one to actually brag about my B-day, especially since I'm 20 and still living at home (joy).

But I'm so happy right now, I could jump and fly like a freakin eagle!

I'm on the verge of drawing many pics, so expect to see quite a few more deviations on the way.
