I get to plan my wedding (which will be the fun part) and go to other people's weddings (also very fun) and I have comps (not fun). Combine all these and shake well and you have my summer. Thankfully, I should have enough time to plan for the wedding that I won't have to do too much when I'm head deep into comps and grant writing. To that I owe Beeks, my fiance, a lot. I also hope to do at least some visiting of friends as well.
I hope everyone is having a great Spring so far and the warm weather will hopefully be here soon.

I think it may be time to get some new writers on staff for the Naruto movies.This last one, to me, seems to be a remake of the first. For example:
The main character's a whiny, spoiled girl.
They send out team 7, though in this movie, Sasuke's replaced by Lee, and Kakashi's replaced by Neiji and they're time skip.
They have to protect the annoying main character, who suddenly learns to like Naruto about 2/3s into the movie.
They fight these awesome ninja (whose designs are really neat in the 1st and 4th movie, but I don't think they get enough credit), there's 3 in the first and 4 in the 4th movie.
The "evil" ninja work for a leader (a guy who doesn't seem to do anything until the very end of the movie).
They get killed by team 7.
Naruto and main female character, who by this time I never want to hear her voice again, go find leader of bad guys.
Female main character does something stupid.
Naruto fights leader of bad guys.
Naruto and main characer team up to make some stupid new Rasengan and kill leader of bad guys.

The problem I have with the 4th movie is the ending. All this work for one brief fight scene with the awesome orochi-like evil villain, a sailor moon-type transformation and yet another Rasengan. The other cool shippuuden characters get about 10 seconds of screen time all together, which bothered me. And Neiji could have done a lot more.
On the good side, there were funny moments, Lee got drunk (which rocks!) and Sakura almost really did stuff. That's really about it.

There, now we can go watch the 2nd movie, which isn't very good either, but it's still my favorite.

Dulithyx: Lost track? Yeah, I guess I have too now that I think about it. Then again, going back and forth between planes where time moves differently doesn't help now does it?
Rayson: Do I have to? My true age belies my natural abilities and intelligence.
Dulithyx: Well, it helps that you have hundreds, maybe over a thousand years of intellegence and natural ability at your disposal. *rolls eyes*
Rayson: Hey, I was a great mage when the gods of magic were still...
Seva: I'm 19 now...and Dokueki says she cares not to share her age. *Whispers* It's been a long time since demons like her were young. *Grins*
Lana: 17

-Species and Gender?
Phreoth: I'm originally a half-elf female. Though you probably wouldn't be able to tell now with my night black, see through skin-tone.
Dulithyx: I'm a shadow dragon, one of very few every to grace the land of Krynn. And the largest and eldest other than the great one himself.
Rayson: I'm male, and, well, I was a human for a number of years. Then I was kinda a mostly-human with a bit of dragon, and now I'm a Shadow dragon. *smiles proudly*
Dulithyx: You're welcome.
Rayson: Hey, you had no idea that would happen, so don't "you're welcome" me.
*Dulithyx and Rayson get into an argument about magical fluctuations*
Seva: I'm human, which is weird here I guess. And Dokueki is a lizard demon...the only one, she says.
Lana: Ok, here goes: Glass Walker, Ragabash, Homid, Fostern, beta of the pack "Merlin's Angels", and then there's the Silverfang thing, which I'd prefer not to talk about, thanks. Oh, and I'm female.


-You got any bad habits?
Phreoth: *grins evily* well, I tend to not think of them as bad habits... but some people do I guess.
Dulithyx and Rayson: *Still arguing about magic and dragons and such*
Seva: I guess a lot of people don't like that I eat raw meat...is that a bad habit?
Lana: I don't like eating raw meat, unless Ivet's there. *Swoons* Then it's ok.

-Any other names or nicknames?
Phreoth: Um...not that I currently know of.
Dulithyx: Yes, by humans I am called Dela, the elves call me Delanthla, and...
Rayson: And Gilean calls you "Little one". *Snickers*
Dulithyx: Well, if you were raised by a God, he would probably call you little one too.
Rayson:...*mumbles*
Seva: No.
Lana: There was this one in the legend...but I can't remember it. Ask Nicole, she's the one with the good memory.

Phreoth: I'm married to a wonderful man named Drielon. I shall not speak about the other man I've known.
Dulithyx: Well, you see, being the only two Shadow dragons on Krynn, we mate to raise offspring for the future of the plane.
Rayson: Oh, is that the only reason? *Dulithyx hits him on the back of the head with a wing* Owe!
Seva: Yes...and yes.
Lana: *Grumbles* Stupid Littany thing. Why do we follow such old stupid rules anyways...

Phreoth: I've already told you this.
Dulithyx and Rayson: *Look at each other*
Seva: Well, um...I'm dating someone...does that count?
Lana: *Continues grumbling*

Phreoth: Ah little Rydekyn. He's such a good boy. He's gonna wield a sword like you wouldn't believe some day.
Dulithyx: Our brood is currently in a safe location. *Smiles*
Rayson: With a baby-sitter, thankfully.
Seva: *looks confused*
Lana: Now you see, lots of garou see metis as bad things, so no.

Phreoth: Does Shadow wine count?
Dulithyx: Young deer from the forests near Qualinesti.
Rayson: I like roast potatoes...
