Over the last 24 hours or so, I got about 35 favourites and comments on my NaNoWriMo posters. Um, wow. Because there are 35, and I'm in year 12, and I'm about to go to sleep, I can't thank you all individually as I'd like to, but I'm a bit overwhelmed and can honestly say you've made my day ^^

Yeah, over the happy joy feeling I got from finally finding some sheet music I wanted and from obtaining the Amelie Soundtrack. That's how much of a warm fuzzy I'm getting right now.

I wish people would stop acting all shocked when I say I'm not going to afterparty. Really, I don't care if I'm boring, if I'm missing out on all the fun, or if you'd really like the whole year to be there. He's learning to speak Japanese. Being already fluent in English and (sort of) French. Today, we spent about half an hour speaking only Japanese. With on and off English explanations of a particular grammar point and whatnot, but a fluent conversation. He managed to slip in a couple of words I didn't know, and generally just made my day.

I'm so proud of him...he's one of the most self-motivated people I know. I couldn't do it. Couldn't learn anything all by myself. Gah. *ramble*

Created unintentional characters, green kittens, and confusing occurances.

Wasted away at least 2000 words with pointless scenes

Forgotten that, yes, those two characters actually HAVEN'T MET EACH OTHER YET!!! So stop talking like you have, damnit.

one word sprint can ruin an entire scene. I now have 900 words of dialogue to put some sense into and rescue the plot. I'm not sure how I'm going to do it, so I'm going to bed.

Well, thanks to a friend letting me use her DSLR for a couple of shots (thanks :iconixi-da-pixie:), I believe I am addicted. I wants more!
Now, I know almost nothing about DSLR cameras, and which are the best to get. Which features are necessary etc. so I'm here to ask your collective advice.

I'm looking for something under about $700-$800, and I'm sure as hell not gonna complain if it's less than that and still good.
I'd like more than 8MP, and a relatively non-complicated interface. Weight isn't really an issue but I'm not the strongest of people.

Anyway, some of you may have wondered why all of a sudden I'm posting up pictures from Melbourne. I didn't move there, but I did take a week's holiday.

We went over there for the Crown International Dance Championships, and I forgot to get a photo licence. :(. We did quite well though: I got one first and my partner got two first and two thirds. We really weren't expecting to get anything because it's a fairly high standard of competition.

As you can probably see though, I took a lot of photos while over there. The ones I've uploaded are only the best - I have 1292 in total.

Something I forgot to put in my last journal, too. I've got my L's. That's right, I'm on the road (well...as soon as I graduate from the carpark).
